Briefing:
It has recently been made aware to me that a prisoner, who was supposed to be delivered to us from the Bird Country, has managed to escape into the Rain Country in an attempt to evade his guards. Therefore, seeing as he is stupid enough to enter our land, we shall take care of this for the Bird Country. Therefore, I want a team to link up with the guards and take over the hunt for this prisoner - someone who, apparently, has some basic Ninjutsu training (though no specifics are given) from an enemy of our Village. The mission is to find him, capture him and bring him here alive.
Objective: Capture and return the prisoner
Reward: 1,250 Ryo

IC:
Kazumaru was standing by a willow tree in the forest that was waving in the wind. It was drizzling outside, a slight mist seeming to be rising from the forest floor. Kazumaru was going to lead his first team on his first Important mission... Important... he liked that word... Either way, Kazumaru would make sure this mission would go perfectly.

He stood against the tree now, with his arms crossed, closing his eyes and slowly tapping his foot. he would wait for his team mates to arrive, Ananta being one of them... the other two he was unacquainted with, but he was sure he would learn to enjoy their company as well.

[Lizeidy Kai]

OOC: It's alright lol..and I'm sorry for taknig so long..sort of busy just to let you know >.<

IC:
Walking at a slow pace, Lizeidy spied a really tall man, comparing her height with his. He was standing by a willow tree, probably waiting for the other's to come. She wasn't sure if she should called to him or tap his shoulder to get his attention. She shruged and walked up behind him she saw him tapping his foot she thought she made him wait too long and felt really bad. Tapping on his side cause of being too short to tap on his shoulder. She looked down timidly and waited for him to say anything.

Kazumaru opened his eyes to something poking him on his waist. He looked down and saw a girl, standing 4 foot 7 standing by his side with her head down. She looked rather timid, so he decided to make small talk before ananta got there so he could get to know another one of his team mates, along with maybe cheering the girl up.

"hi" kazumaru said with a closed eyed smile. He scratched his head and opened his blue eyes, which were brighter at the moment showing he was enthused with someone finally arriving. "i'm Kazumaru Nara, Team Leader of Team Wave. He put his arms behind his head and slumped down against the tree to get comfortable. "and you are?"

[Lizeidy Kai]

She heard him saying hi and she turned to him, her eyes were caught by his brigt blue eyes, she thought it was kinda unusual, Maybe his happy there's finally someone here? she wondered. "I'm Kazumaru Nara, Team Leader f Team Wave" and she saw him slumped down "And you are?". She started giggling when she saw him slump down and realized what she was doing, she quickly stopped and responded back with a simple "Hi" and answered his question that was interrupt by her giggles, "I'm Lizeidy Kai.....nice meeting you" she said bowing as a show of respect. She stood straight and took on her useless, straight face. "Um..so where are the others..if I may ask?" she wondered.

"was the girl giggling?" kazumaru wondered. he hadnt had many girls... giggle at him, but he didnt find it to be a mean gesture, so he just smiled at it. After giggling, the girl seemed to stop what she was doing, and attempt to maintain a straight face. "I'm Lizeidy Kai..." she said bowing "nice to meet you" The girl stood up as straight as she could and said "um.. where are the others.. if i may ask?"

Kazumaru continued smiling. lizeidy seemed to want so badly to look responsible and official. "Hey, there's no need to be so serious..." Kazumaru said to lizeidy casually "if we're gunna be on the same team, we might as well be casual with eachother, you know?"

Kazumaru looked around and then back to lizeidy, with a simple looke on his face "well, one of our members is not going to come on this trip... that's Raze Hizuki... and then there's Ananta Shesha. He'll be here soon." Kazumaru looked up at the clouds for a brief moment. "By the way... you think i could call you Liz? it'll be alot easier to say than lizeidy." kazumaru said smiling.

[Lizeidy Kai]

She saw Kazumaru smiling and it made her a little nerveous and at the same time relief he wasn't one of those lion, strict teachers, or so she thinks. "Hey, there's no need to be so serious..." she heard him say caughting her off guard. She was startled and scratched her head embarrased. "if we're gunna be on the same team, we might as well be casual with eachother, you know?" he told her, she looked at him oddly, thinknig that being serious was the only way you could be on missions. She surprisingly smiled at him and nodded, making him sure she understood. "Alrighty...." she said softly still timid, she saw him looking around What might he be looknig for??? she thought.

Kazumaru then looked back her, he had a simple look, and she wondered what he was gonna say."well, one of our members is not going to come on this trip... that's Raze Hizuki... and then there's Ananta Shesha. He'll be here soon." he said and she just nodded. She crossed her arms, not knowing what to do, she played with her gloves, pulling on them. "By the way... you think i could call you Liz? it'll be alot easier to say than lizeidy." she heard him say, she looked at him, and saw him smiling. She couldn't help but smile back at him and she simply nodded. Liz she thought excitedly, she didn't know why she was so excited but didn't care atleast she might make friends here, hopefully.

[Ananta]

As Ananta exited the village he began to run a perimeter around the village his eyes darting around, hoping to catch a glimpse of where Kazumaru had been planning to wait for his team to attend their new mission.
The rain had increasingly let up since he had first left to find Kazumaru and it was now only a light drizzle, mist coming up off the ground. The clouds were almost translucent but still gray enough to cast a fine shadow over the village and surrounding land.
His hunch had been correct, from his vantage point, walking through the trees, he had been able to spot Kazumaru alongside a rather short girl, who on first site didn't look like she could even be out of the academy.

The leaves in the trees rustled and floated to the dampened ground as he bounced off a tree branch and landed cleanly next to his friend.
He shook his head, whipping about his long dirty blond mane, just by looking at and being near his friend he could tell that in the short amount of time since they had last seen each other, he had grown considerably in strength, he was now at least triple Ananta in power, and while it had startled and put him off, he was equally excited and enthralled by the gross development and change his friend had gone through, he now regretted not finishing his training, before coming here, his crooked mouth warped up into a pale and yellow smile, his teeth broken and held more of a slant-wise appearance than straight.
However the excitement was cut short as he remembered he hadn't been the only person standing close to his dear friend.
His neck cracked as he stared at the girl next to him.
"Is she going with us"?
He almost sneered as he looked down on her.

[Lizeidy Kai]

Lizeidy was startled by this new stranger landing right next to Kazumaru.She saw him shooking his head, Liz thought it was kinda funny, but did not made any attempt to laugh she've been embarrased from before she didnt want to make any mistake again. Seeing him smile to the other guy, her team mate or more like leader, made her relax a bit I guess this ones, as friendly as Kazumaru? she question herself. She notice his broken teeth and wondered if he had been beat up, back home it happened alot to kids like her.Shrugging that off, she took a step forward and was about to introduce herself, 'till his neck craked. She saw him staring at her and felt intimidating but tried not to show it, "Is she with us?" she heard him say looking down at her, to her it seemed he sneered at her. Startled by his voice she took 2 steps back, and stayed there not daring to move. She looked at him she wanted to answered but didn't attempt to. Never respond back if they're not asking you she remember her uncle say and whinced at the thought of his voice. She looked away from the strangers stare, messing with her red choker. This must be the other team mate Kazumaru told me about.....Ananta Shesha....I guess i was wrong of being friendly as Kazumaru.. she thought sighing softly.

[kazumaru]

"oh boy..." Kazumaru thought. "Ananta's going to get jealous or something..." Kazumaru gave Ananta a look, to let him know to lay off of the new member to the team. "yeah, she's the new member to team Ue-Bu... hopefully she'll make a nice addition, and we can all get along... dont you think?" he looked back and forth between the two other ninja flashing each one a smile. "Ananta, this is lizeidy... Liz, this is Ananta."

"Now," he said calmly with a stern look "you two just relax while i give you two the details of the mission... There was a prisoner being escorted to a prison in Bird Country... He escaped from his prison convoy, and made the foolish mistake of making his escape into the Rain Country... now, we've been told to intercept the prisoner and return him to his convoy... Intel says he may know some jutsu, but there were no details of what kind. All i know though, is that it should be easy... we'll just bag em and tag em... but we cant kill the guy, got it? so go easy. In the mean time, Ananta, try to lighten up, and Liz, relax a little bit, ok? if the team isnt confortable with its members then things wont work out too well, get it?"

Kazumaru stood there for a minute quietly..."if there's any questions, i'll be happy to answer them" He said with a smile "otherwise, we'd better get going."

[Lizeidy Kai]

Liz did not dare say anything and she heard kazumaru "yeah, she's the new member to team Ue-Bu... hopefully she'll make a nice addition, and we can all get along... dont you think?" she looked up at Kazumaru and stayed quite but nooded none the less."Ananta, this is lizeidy... Liz, this is Ananta." he introduce them to eachother, she nodded as a greeting gesture to Ananta.

She rubbed her arm and just stood there quiet and waited for Ananta's answer.

[Ananta]

Ananta smiled again, his eyes coming down into a squint as he bobbed slightly with suppressed laughter.
"So were going on a hunt are we".
He stated more than asked cracking his knuckles one finger at a time, moving up to his wrist and then finally ending with aloud pop from each of his elbows.
The cooled air steamed with each of his seemingly labored and humid breaths, switching almost alternately between his mouth and nose, his dull green eyes stretching open wide, yellow crust being blinked out of the previously tucked away niche.
He made no motion with his neck but rather shifted his eyes out to the side to look at the girl whom had joined them and decided to, in one large step, bring himself to her side and rest his hand on her shoulder.
"I'm sure well learn to get along nicely".
His cheeks pulled up like curtains on a stage to reveal his disgusting smile.
"My, I may even entertain the thought of romancing her".
He said patronizingly, cocking his chin up.

Kazumaru Frowned... This was a sick joke played out by Ananta, trying to intimidate the girl greatly... Boy did that kid love his mind games... Either way, Kazumaru gave another dirty look to Ananta as he put his hand on liz's shoulder. It seemed that Ananta WAS in fact jealous... he was trying to patronize Kazumaru for being a gentleman to liz, and accepting her so easily into the group.

Kazumaru took a step towards the girl patting her reassuringly on the back after Ananta had released his grip on her shoulder "Dont worry," He said solemnly looking into her eyes so she would feel more like he was talking to her as a person rather than a subordinate. "You have to trust me... you'll be fine. At first Ananta will be very difficult to get along with... but you have to trust me, You'll do fine on the mission, i'm sure of it... ok?" he said the last part wiping off the solemn look he had on his face, replacing it with a reassuring smile. "now i'd say we should get going before the situation have a chance to change."

After saying these words, Kazumaru hopped off into the trees to begin the search for the prisoner.

[Lizeidy Kai]

Liz flinched when she felt Ananta's hands rest on her shoulder."I'm sure well learn to get along nicely". Riiiiiiiight...hopefully we will she thought to herself."My, I may even entertain the thought of romancing her" she heard him say, making her raise an eyebrow at him, it was sort of funny in a way for her What is he trying to play?..oh well she thought shruging. Ignoring to whatever he said, she just stood there, quietly, waiting for Kazumaru's orders.

She notice a frowned on Kazumaru's face and wondered what was wrong with him. She quickly glanced at Ananta and thought maybe it was because he did something wrong, who knows. Kazumaru took a step towards her and patted her on her back, she knew he was trying to reasure her it was going to be alright, she just smiled. Afterwards she felt Ananta's hold on her dissapeared. This is going to be a fun mission.... she thought sarcasticly, "Dont worry," she heard him say, she looked up and saw he was trying to help, talking to her more as a person and not something else. "You have to trust me... you'll be fine. At first Ananta will be very difficult to get along with... but you have to trust me, You'll do fine on the mission, i'm sure of it... ok?" he said to her with a reassuring smile.

"now i'd say we should get going before the situation have a chance to change." After finishing his words Kazumaru hopped off into the trees, she tighten her hands into a fist and was determine to do good on this mission and do the best effort to get along with Ananta, not like he was going to make her life impossible, or she hoped so. She glanced at Anan,smiled at him, and leaped off into the trees, She hoped she woulnd't make any mistakes like before and wanted get this prisoner as quick as possible.

[Raze Hazuki]

Raze was running with all his speed to try to catch up to his team mates, they might not be suspecting him so he might have to prepare to be attacked. He ran for quite awhile before he saw figures in the distance and he slid to a stop. He jumped up in to the trees and moved closer to them quietly. Half way there, he saw three figures. He moved closer, but then suddenly two of them jumped up in to the trees.

He placed his right hand on his great sword and continued moving forward to them. He needed to get a closer look before approaching them... To search for Rain Headbands. He kept his eyes on the two in front of him, and the one on the ground.

[Ananta]

Ananta had watched as his friend and new team member departed off into the trees, and remained behind for a second if not only to clear his throat and lower his brow in anger. He honestly couldn't understand why his friend for so long would just up and trust a complete stranger, he looked as though he may have even wanted to be friends with her, the though disgusted him, especially a girl who were only capable, as far as Ananta was concerned, of producing children and betraying their spouses.
Regardless he needn't fall behind and loose track of the two.
His knees bent and just as he launched himself, the unmistakable "thunking" noise of a person planting them self on a tree branch and the limb groaning in protest.
The trees were all covered from root to canopy in water as well and Ananta could tell from his own splash that if he hadn't heard the branch he would have definitely picked up on the water spraying off of wherever the noise had come from.
He spun about, his long sleeves and hair whipping themselves around him in almost a full circle and began to survey the surrounding forest for movement, maybe their target had decided to find them instead.

His eyes weren't the best and at the moment he couldn't truly tell if there was anything out of the a ordinary, but with the flash of his hands, hand seals moving in and out of formation, ending with and holding onto the boar as he shut off the capabilities of his inaccurate eyes, his eyelids acting as shields to disallow light into the pupils and ruining his jutsu.
Ananta forced chakra up into his ears
and began to look for the tell tale sound of a person moving about in the forest, on ground or in tree.

Kazumaru looked back behind him only to see that liz was following close behind. "she looks determined" he thought, thinking back on his training. He wanted to make sure that on his team's first mission, everything would go smoothly. He was willing to use his entire arsenal of techniques if he had to, to keep his friends safe... but he wondered... why wasnt Ananta with them? He looked back, seeing that his friend wasnt there, then yelling over to liz with the wind "HEY. ananta is probably taking up the rear, or looking in a different location. we'll work in a two nin formation, switching between point, and rear, so it would be easier to defend from an attack, or confuse an enemy. We'll keep doing it until Ananta catches up. Look in any spot you think someone could hide in, even if it's obvious, got it Liz?"

[Raze Hazuki]

Raze stopped on a tree branch after seeing the figure left behind jump in the trees as well. On closer inspection he saw that the figure was a male, and he was looking in Raze's direction. Raze decided to come closer, but to be ready and cautious....

Raze: "Hello there...." He said after appearing in front of Ananta from the trees, his orange and black bandanna flowing in the rain/

Hopping from tree to tree, Liz fell into a long trance. It was one her biggest mistakes, but thankfully she heard what it seem to be Kazumaru call to her, making her come to her senses."HEY. ananta is probably taking up the rear, or looking in a different location. we'll work in a two nin formation, switching between point, and rear, so it would be easier to defend from an attack, or confuse an enemy. We'll keep doing it until Ananta catches up. Look in any spot you think someone could hide in, even if it's obvious, got it Liz?" she understood and nodded towards him. She then quickened her speed and jumped off of the tree branches taking the lower part and searching in every direction she could possibly look. Liz could still have a view of Kazumaru searching, and she just kept searching on low places. Hopefully she wouldn't over looked anything out of ordinary and catch it as soon as possible.

Kazumaru sped through the trees, fast enough for the team to gain on the prisoner, but slow enough so that Liz could keep up. He looked to his right, surveying a hillside covered in trees, and the base of the hill side, there was a small pond covered in ripples due to the rain.

Sweeping through the lower canopy of the woodlands, Kazumaru also spotted a small swamp that was a sufficiant hiding spot. Quickly thinking to himself, he formulated a plan. the two locations were near enough so that if one of them yelled, the two ninja would be able to hear eachother and rush to their aid.

He stopped on the next tree branch. "Liz. i need you to check over by that hill. check in the pond, and in the forested area. i'll check in this swamp. if you find anything just yell for me, ok?"
