Name: Neuro
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Desired Position: Assistant
Experience I’ve been an assistant and moderator on this site. Due to a head injury I had to take a leave of absence. I’ve been a moderator on many other sites as well. Most of you know, as a member of staff I’m extremely active. I do staff work from the time I wake up, until the time I go to bed. I watch every post on the site to make sure no one is missed and I generally get things done quick without leaving people out. I’m extremely detailed with checking profiles and I’m a tough rater with training, but I’m more than fair.
Role-Play Experience and/or Event I currently am part of three threads. 2 events and my missions thread. I’ll provide those and then two previous rp threads.
I’m active. Like really, really active. I’d still be a moderator today if I didn’t get a head injury two years ago. I’m always willing to help on projects and this site is my home. I need to be a part of NFRP, and one of the things I love most about this site is staff work. To others it may seem tedious, but helping others get further in their rp’s is what I do best.
Because of the head injury, I forgot a lot of what I knew. I’ve asked lots of dumb questions and focused on re reading through everything in order to regain my knowledge. I’m confident in my knowledge to assist others at this stage and would love nothing more than to do so.
I'd like for you to explain your answers and break down the following questions for me.
1.) A player has trained 125 SP in the skill weapon making. They don't have any additional buffs or modifiers to their skill and they want to craft a longsword. How much Ryo in material cost do they need to pay? To what amount do they need to craft to?
2.) What is fortitude on site? What does it encompass and how would you, in your own words describe it?
3.) You come across two people arguing in the cbox. You only walked into the tail end of the argument and you can tell that they are past the point of coming to a agreeable point by themselves and you are noticing people in the box are getting uncomfortable. How would you proceed?

1 — The longsword is 4000 base cost. 1/3 of 4000 (rounded down, naturally) is 1333 Ryo. Next step is to roll a 1d100 and add that to the users skill level, which in this case is 125. After that roll, you would subtract that amount from the 1/3rd cost. Example, I roll a 50. 50+125=175. 1333-175=1158. The actual price of the raw materials is the 1/3rd cost, so it is also 1333. Just wanted to make sure that was clear so you know I understand crafting.
2 — Taken straight out of the handbook: These saves measure your ability to stand up to physical punishment or attack against your vitality and health.
In my own words, Fortitude is saves against physical afflictions and how well you can stand up to things that effect it, such as poison, disease, and forced movement. Fortitude covers a large range of things, such as a power struggle of fortitude, drowning, being knocked out, being crushed by pressure, etc. I hope that answers your question.
3 — First off, they need to handle the remainder of this discussion in private. The chat box is a place for people to unwind, plot, talk about things inside and outside of the role play. After that, I’d like to review the entirety of the argument and ensure no rules were broken. If I dictate that punishment is required, it can be taken into the proper thread within the staff boards to be discussed and a message can be sent to both parties politely letting them know that things of that nature should be done in private as to not affect the rest of our members. The chat box is a place new members go to ask questions, and the last thing we need is them to see that. It could easily turn someone away from our site. If warnings need to be issued, they can be issued. If they need issued on the spot, naturally I can tell them that on the spot and monitor the box for any further infractions.
One thing I want you to be aware off is that while Assistants do help with the general state of balance on the site outside of that keep in mind that discipline is left to mods as far as duties go. If you do get accepted into staff I want you to remember you are signing on as an assistant currently and I'd want to see you save the logs, put them to a staff board or pm them to your moderator and work the chain of command.
