Feeling a strain in my legs due to the usage of the body flicker, I knew that this would not end well for me had I not caught her in my next few movements. In lieu of utilizing the Shunshin by stamina, I opted to ease the pain away by spiritual endeavors; both of my entire legs felt weighted, but that was soon remedied by lighting them with my chakra. My eyes traced her movements as she propelled herself forward again, and I knew a direct assault would not work on her as it hadn't before. I pushed myself to continue to give chase through Ame no Kuni as the alactrious woman giggled in the distance.
"Can't catch me~~~" she mocked, zipping away again with a watery-style Shunshin. I wondered if there were other variations of elemental shunshin, too, since she seemed quite capable of mixing a Mizu Shunshin into her movements twice now. Because of this particular type of body flicker in this sort of environment, my eyes just couldn't keep up with her; again she had vanished to an unknown location and I stopped on a thin branch to try to hone in on the target. I summoned forth a bit of chakra as I performed a set of seals associated to the Wind Element, and felt lifted from this nature; slapping my palms together, I let loose a violent burst of winds, that, while only capable of lifting up to four and a half kilograms (10lbs), it was still suitable to knock a fast moving person off course. This would come to fruition as the Suiran Reppu pushed out and I heard Noriko yelp. In the direction from which came her voice, I snapped my head. I saw her getting pushed by the winds having tried to again reappear behind me. Quickly noticing her maladroit movement, I moved in for the kill. I lunged towards her with my left clawed arm extended, my eyes wide with wonder.
And yet somehow, despite her being hit with my technique, she still managed to escape my draconic clutches. In a poof, she had disappeared and replaced herself with a log. I knew this as the Kawarimi technique, but this one seemed to be more effective than the academy version that I knew. Dropped the log, I looked up to see her mocking me. I grit my teeth and dug my feet into the ground before I jumped towards her. She moved to shunshin forward---this I noticed by the way she stepped forward heavily after flexing her right leg back; to follow and successfully counter her, I arced. We ended up almost running into one another, but she flipped some ways away from me and began to pant.
"I was wrong about you, Miku-kun.. you do have stamina." She winked. "You just successfully utilized the Shunshin Kaunta to counter my own body flicker.. impressive."
