Background
Hirokazu, the second child born to the Inai family, experienced a childhood full of joy and excitement. While his older brother was 6 years his senior, Hirokazu had placed a significant amount of his intrigue and attention into the wanderings and actions of his brother. By the age of ten, Hirokazu had become well known to the surrounding neighbors. His charisma and boyish good looks allowed him many privileges as a young boy. Following a similar path as his brother, Hirokazu did not enroll into the academy until the age of 12. His mother and father had preferred to further cultivate their sons to instill their ideals.
Mid-way during his time at the academy, Hirokazu's father had engaged in a counterintelligence missions for the village. In-between deployments, the Inai patriarch detailed his adventures as a shinobi. Each story provided Hirokazu with the determination to become a ninja. During his final deployment, Hirokazu's father fell victim to a poison developed by an enemy ninja. The grief experienced by the Inai family greatly impacted their present and future. Hirokazu was unable to continue his studies at the academy due to the intense emotional response both he and his family had experienced.
During the summer of his father's death, approximately 4 months afterwards, Hirokazu, his mother, and his brother left the village for a short period of time. Their mother had made the decision of cremating her husband's body so she may find a suitable resting place for his ashes. The Inai family returned after 1 month and continued to grieve for their loved one. Hirokazu's brother returned to his missions and training. They had continued to see less and less of him until he had finally found a place to live on his own.
By the age of 14, Hirokazu had yet to return to his studies as a ninja. He instead found interest in medicine and plant life. The garden tended to by his mother had become a graveyard of wilted rose petals. Tending to the garden provided Hirokazu with a therapeutic activity to engage in. While the grieving never ended, Hirokazu found solace in his newfound hobbies. After the Spring had passed, Hirokazu returned to the academy with the desire to continue his studies. He graduated at the age of 16 and had become a Genin. The months following his graduation set him on a path to becoming a medical ninja. The praise he received both in his studies and while volunteering at the hospital pushed him to further his knowledge of medicine. As a medic-in-training, Hirokazu has found a path he hopes to excel in. The trauma he experienced has left a significant impact on his life trajectory.
