As Riou and Nagaku stepped into a small forested clearing the Amekage would suddenly stop and stare off into the distance. Eyes peering intently the Amekage would speak " I have to go, I'll be back, Train while I'm away." and with that he would become, leaving Riou alone in one of Ame no Kuni's many forests.

Mere minutes later Riou would sit down in the clearing and peer intently at the scroll, unwravelling the thin string that kept its knowledgable contents sealed. Azure eyes scanned the scroll intently, opening in surprise when the full power of what this scroll held dawned on him. This was a a high speed ninjutsu move, faster than a shunshin.....surely the Amekage was such a powerful ninja to have this in his arsenal. Swelling with pride that such a skill had been entrusted to him Riou stood up, eager to begin the training.

<sub>As Riou stood in the clearing his mind scanned over the contents of the scroll. He would need extreme chakra control, to use the technique, and he would have to use it carefully, such careless use of speed could lead to a hasty demise for an over eager genin. Riou now set to work, with a simple set of slow rhythmic breathing exercises he cleansed his mind of outside worries, letting his consciousness sink into a slow pool where it would be locked tight until his training was over. Now Riou began to furrow his brow, letting nothing get in the way of this utmost part of the training he began to gather the chakra around him. It shimmered and glowed, infusing his body in the same light blue glow that bespoke great power. Now he could feel it surge and weave throughout his body like a great cocoon it encased his body forming a bluish myriad of power that any ninja could see bespoke power. Of course this was no where near the power of the Amekage, but Riou surmised that it would at least be enough to utilize the technique correctly.

Now that the chakra formation was complete Riou began to harden his azure eyes, concentrating even harder as he sent the chakra suffusing around his body into the key parts needed to successfully perform the technique. Strength and energy surged into his muscles, like a balloon being filled with to much air Riou could feel the strain on his body, but now came the most delicate part of the technique, where he would need to release the chakra precisely and at the right time, or else the technique would fail and the Amekage’s trust would have been misplaced….but he would not let that happen! Mouth open, exhaling and inhaling Riou would gaze up at a tree that stood, waving its leafy boughs at him, there! A single, solitary branch solid enough to support his weight! He would go there!

With a subtle flicker and blur Riou would disappear from his spot in leafy forested clearing, time seemed to slow as his whole body rushed towards the tree limb, this technique…….it was fast! Surely no normal person could dodge such a feat of alacrity! Respect rose in great heaping chunks for the Amekage, surely he held much more power than the previous Amekage. Then with in moments…nay not even moments Riou would appear gracefully on the tree branch, a slight gust of wind heralding his arrival, lithely stepping unto another branch he would float to the ground, cloths fluttering. But Riou’s eyes would squint momentarily and a slow frown would spread across his face…..he had gone to the wrong branch….and something imperceptible nagged at his consciousness…..there was an odd feeling like…..like the technique was supposed to be performed faster…. Heaving a small sigh and letting it flow from his mouth Riou prepared to try again.</sub>

<sub>Now Riou closed his eyes and began to concentrate, letting his mind and souls settle, so that like wings taking flight so did the problems and turmoil’s of Riou’s being. Letting a gentle breath escape his lips he knew this couldn’t last, he would have to get back to his training soon, he couldn’t let down the Amekage or the village, he was in a position right now where he could do a lot of good for the village, protecting it from the so called " Five great Shinobi nations" where they practiced nothing but barbarism. Moreso....Riou needed to aquire the power so he could go out in the world...and maybe...just maybe catch a glimpse of his parents.

A blue kind of incorporeal glow encompassed Riou, his chakra taking almost a physical manifestation as it surged through his body and Riou tried to weave it intricately to the exact places it needed to be to perform the jutsu, it was difficult but Riou pressed on gritting his teeth and knitting his brow, This technique was becoming a lot harder then it seemed, it was merely an upgraded shunshin but it was still placing unique and difficult challenges on a ninja of Riou's skill level, but Riou endeavored on, Still gritting his teeth and concentrating Riou willed the chakra to conform to his will , placing it strategically around his body to fully maximise the usage of the technique.

Now opening his blue eyes Riou focussed on the same branch he had previously attempted to flicker too. There it was.....standing...waving lazily in the breeze...mocking him. Staring intently Riou would subtly release the chakra, willing it to ooze from his body as he released the technique. To the human eye all it would take was a single blink for Riou to be there.....then he would be gone. Riou didn't even have a sense of awareness this time, merely he was in one spot...now he was in another.

Riou blinked a few times as he stood on the branch...this technique was....SO KOOL! It was Ubar! Almost jumping with glee and excitement Riou exited off the branch, of coarse that never happened.... in his excitement Riou did not notice he had hit the end of the branch and it could not support his weight....thus it sent him crashing headfirst painfully into the ground.</sub>

"I really shouldn't be leaving... but.. I have to do this myself."

The fluent speech of the Amekage was heard as he passed Riou in his steps- having washed out the red dye that was beginning to fade regardless, giving his hair it's normal dark black- blue tint. He gave a sigh, fiddling with a pendant around his neck; his multi-colored eyes staring out as he waited momentarily- staring into the horizon.

The beauty of Ame was that of what a demented person would enjoy- gloom, despair, depression all filling the clouds as Toda-san smirked slightly. He loved Ame- and his decision in which would be done in Kusa would be from his love for this village, and the country.

"Whatever happens, happens."

Pretty much... he began to daydream, drifting away- as he obviously quite ignored his pupil. It was the start of a great relationship between sensei and boy; showing that even though Nagaku was oblivious to how some people wanted to impress him, he would always be one step ahead of them in his aloof nature. He would snap out of it though, glancing over his shoulder with a slight smile to show that he hadn't completely forgotten about the boy, and a wink was given in the childs general direction.

On her way to Kusagakure, that was one thought that made her afraid rather then excited. She had never been beyond the gates of her homeland, especially since she could not see. Her mind raced with alls orts of horrible scenarios as she jumped from building to building to catch up to Naga-San. Her heavy wool cloak flowed behind her as she moved quickly, nearing the location she was told to be at. Only moments would pass before she could see Naga-San standing out in the open preparing to make the journey as well. Raising her fingers in a seal she would vanish mid jump and reappear behind him in a whirl of water droplets. She was quite sure he would be aware that she was coming, his rank far above her own none the less she liked to at least try to sneak up on him. Coughing slightly to clear her throat she spoke softly, "A-Am I on time?"

Her timid voice would fall on the ears of only those within a few feet of her. She was largely afraid she was not on time, she felt like it had taken her forever just to get here. This would be a first for her, first time traveling, first mission and she did not want to screw it up. Touching her left index finger to her right she would slowly move around the kage to be within his vision now. "I came just as soon as I got the message." she said with an even quieter voice now. Her shyness was something that she needed to work on and most found it irritating however it also led alot of people to under estimate her, and that would be the last thing they'd ever do...

"You're just on time."

He replied, his voice soothing her as his right palm gently rubbed against her head, giving a slight stroke. He would reassure her with that, to make sure she was comfortable- as he didn't want her to feel out of place. Multi-colored orbs fell lightly upon her figure, and he glanced around himself once again. A signal, and he began to move forward along with Riou; keeping a steady pace for Kyrie to keep up. They would slowly make way through the rainforests, heading to various checkpoints within Ame, and in due time make their way to the border, the forests ending and leaving a sunny sky; flowers, grass, and clouds.

Nagaku was a bit envious, truthfully.

Kyrie blushed and smiled when he rubbed her head, reassuring her that everything was okay. She would turn and walk along behind him, following based on the sounds of his foot falls. Suddenly she noticed it, something she had not noticed when she was acting so timid. There was another set of foot steps, apparently there was someone else here who she had not at first registered. With a small quiet voice she would ask, "Ano...who else is with us?" she had not realized that there would be someone else who was accompanying them. This made her feel a little useless, she was so slow to notice him. She would look down as she walked, her shame in her slow realization apparent. She soon heard Naga-San stop so she did as well, although not so sure why she realized it must have been important. "Ano... is something wrong?"

"Eh? Oh, Riou. He's a student of mine."

Nagaku nodded, then grinned.

"Walk forward ten paces, and then sniff; Kyrie."

He folded his arms over his chest as he smirked- the directions would truthfully lead her to a bed of flowers of all kinds, their fragrance ascending to the heavens itself. He tilted his head, watching her actions with a curious eye.

Nodding she would walk forward ten paces, her heart fluttering gently as she smelled it, a small field of flowers. The scent was nice, it arose quickly, entering her nose and filling her with a warm inviting feeling. She would smile as she started to giggle and slowly spin in a circle with her arms out. She had completely forgotten her shyness at the moment, she was simply too happy to care. "This is lovely Naga-San." she said happily as she walked back over carefully.

He was happy she liked it- to which he walked over towards her; standing beside her as he gave a smile; a cigarette removed from his pocket to place gently against his lips. He lit it, and inhaled deeply; the smoke floating lazily into the air as he placed his hands within his pockets.

"I'm going up ahead- if you want to come, follow." He stated, walking leisurely through the grass plains towards the village.

Sitting in the tree so invisible as ever, Jaaku had found the stamina to keep up with the one he followed, remaining invisible for so long really got to him, he probably needs to find another way to follow his kage unseen. The longer he was with them, the more interesting the story got to him, more people arrived around his kage. Shinobi of his own village even. ''what shall we do now?'' he said to himself as he canceled his genjutsu with a fizzle in the tree. Not something anyone would notice, Unless someone with them could sense chakra.

words that of the highpitched kind spoke again, Jaaku licking his lips as he jumped himself into tree's upmost silently. Sighing for a bit right after ''he's on the move again'' he said in his thoughts, locked away..

The group moved swiftly- unknowingly along with Jaaku, as they moved over the land of grass, heading towards their home within Amegakure. The meeting was short, but no doubt benefitial, the eyes of the amekage giving a close as he hummed softly. He began to move faster, pushing off his feet in speed as he traveled over the land. He seemed at ease- once within Ame, he would be capable of making any arrangements and plans.

Riou would follow the Amekage in full zeal, though he was still replaying the events over and over between the his meeting with the Kusakage , it was all...such a blur...Riou didn't even feel as if he was in his whole body during that meeting. It was so..surreal.... this was all happening to fast! He had only meant for some personal training with the Amekage , but now he had ended by escorting him, or rather coming along in a mission to solidify an alliance with the Kusakagure.

Mind awash with the events Riou would turn to the girl who had accomponied them, who he hadn't really acknowledged due to his zeal for the mission and the overwhelmingness of it all. From there he would offer a smile and a soft handshake " Hiya! I'm Riou pleased to meet you!"

She would follow Naga-San with a bounce in her step, she had become alot happier and more confident after being asked to come along. She was huming to herself and doing little spins here and there which made her giggle a little. It would be only mere moments however when Riou spoke that she remembered herself and blushed a deep cherry color. She had somehow forgotten that it was not just Naga-San and her, perhaps because she was so happy about how things went. "I-I'm Kyrie..." she said timidly as she wished she had something to hide behind now. "Pleasure to meet you too..." she said as she twirled her finger through her hair, obviously trying to keep herself occupied to get rid of her embarrasment.

'Get a grip Kyrie...' she thought to herself as she sighed quietly, not sure why she always had to act this way. 'Im hopeless' she thought as she bit her bottom lip and walked silently, she would not engage a conversation unless one of them spoke to her first.

Nagaku glanced over his shoulder- eyes narrowed sharply. In a few moments he would slow down, an arm wrapped around the girls waist as he would sling her over his shoulder, after which take off in swift movements. Kyrie was growing on Nagaku- perhaps not in a romantical way, however more family...-ish.

They neared the border, and in moments notice they would be within the land of Ame.

As the Amekage hoisted the girl and took her away with him Riou cracked a grin. For such a powerful ninja the Amekage sure was a a laid back person. With a sigh of admiration Riou decided to finish of training the technique the Amekage had entrusted him with.

As Riou walked into the forested clearing he had only one goal in mind, finish the technique and come back to the village. So with that he began to cleanse his mind of extrenous thoughts, letting problems and inner turmoils just melt away. It was akin to them being sucked into a cold blank void of nothingness, and as it happened Riou felt nothing but content. Now he could properly train this technique, gathering chakra swiftly his body was infused with a light blue glow that permeated his being. This was the formation of chakra of which Riou would need to properly jmaintain and control to perform such a delicate technique as the silent passing.

Now that his chakra was perfectly placed and ordered around key points in his body Riou gritted his teeth and sharpened his senses, seeing a plethora of tree branches from which he could leap to, too perform the techinque. So with not even a flicker, he took off performing silent passing. This technique allowed him to disappear without the poof of smoke and the slight delay that was in the shunshin technique, no this was just....pure rapid movement, no flicker or anything. Just one blink...and he would be gone. First to one tree branch sitting on a wide oak, then to another on a beech tree. Each time he left no trace of himself behind, then finally he came to rest in the middle of the clearing again...slightly panting due to the newfound exertion of the technique.

As he sat down on the leafy forested floor of the clearing Riou's mind turned to the question, had he succesfully mastered the technique? Was he worthy of the Amekage's trust, looking back Riou broke the technique down into pieces, wondering if each piece fit the puzzle in its place, was everything in proper order for the technique to be performed at maximum efficiency? The only answer Riou could come up with was yes.....all he needed now was to practice the technique in real battle situations, but first he needed to see the Amekage-sama and tell him he had completed his training! So with that Riou was off.
