Description: A Light Weapon. These weapons do +1 Amour Points of Damage. The Range Increment of this weapon is 5 meters. A caltrop is a 4-pronged iron spike crafted so that one prong faces up no matter how the caltrop comes to rest. The user scatters caltrops on the ground in the hope that the opponent steps on them or at least forced to slow down to avoid them. 1 slot of caltrops cover an area 2 meter squared. Each time a creature moves into an area covered by caltrops or spends a round fighting while standing in an area, they may step on one. If the opponent steps on a caltrop the Caltrop deals 1 Armour Points of Damage, and the opponent's movements is reduced by 1/2 because its foot is wounded. Description: A cloak is a type of loose garment that is worn over indoor clothing. Character Depth
Personality
A bubbly little girl who currently just wants do what she can for her village and for the growing culmination of her art. A very young girl, but one that displays a discerning eye to the arts of clay molding. She enjoys spending her time looking out into the natural world for inspiration for her clay creation arts, and believes that art is about experiencing things in life. For that very reason, she had become a Iwagakure no Sato genin, aspired for such a profession. She trained incredibly dutifully with the full intent of graduating as soon as possible, often being seen as a determined soul when it came to things she was passionate about, she wanted to see the world and ninja did just that.
She typically has an adorable demeanor, and often feels a little uncomfortable being around people, especially if they are critics to art. She especially feels uncomfortable around critics due to a tragic event in her past. As an orphan, she's in general a bit touchy on the matter of parents. Often in her spare time, one might find this child is a bit boisterous, exploring around Iwagakure for new art, new things to do, new experiences in general. She's not hard to impress or fascinate due to her limited outlook on the world. She has an air of confidence in most of her skills, but lies especially with faith in her art. Without her art, she is nothing but a normal girl, she acknowledges this wholeheartedly.
An interesting aspect of this girl, is often, she views humans as works of art as well. If she were to put it into a way of simple understanding, humans are works of clay, and she wants to be the Prometheus. She utilizes genjutsu with the idea that understanding how art thinks, and how to change what it thinks, is basically the same as molding art to her desired image. Hikari likes to be babied, fawned over, and loved by people. She loves attention, for that reason sometimes being seen as a havoc to society as she flaunts off her art. All in all though? She's a good kid. She aspires to become the greatest artist that Iwagakure has ever seen. Often, she loves taking missions as a way to show her art's grandeur and to earn more funding to create more art in tandem.
In her leisure, she spends time training, reading, practicing some other skills, and maybe even occasionally going to friends. She enjoys spending time with her clan members, talking about the meaning and comprehension of art. Sometimes, she competed her art against the art of her others. This Toujitakumi member lives for the moment and thrill of living, not the drawn out peacetimes. She's a little restless, but then again, most eight year old kids are. One could only wonder what her life will become as she grows older.
Appearance
She has a rounded, youthful face with a clear complexion. Hikari has brown eyes, a button nose, a long ponytail of spiky blonde hair that extends to the upper part of her back, and fair white skin. She is 5'2 and is generally average weight and height for a girl her age. She is a lithe and agile frame as opposed to one of a more muscular or powerful build. She unfortunately was not born with the second mouth hand that some of her more fortunate clan members were able to unlock at an earlier age than some.
Often, this girl has a smile on her face as she's working, almost never without a pouch of clay on her person. She typically wears a simple red long sleeve shirt, a set of brown pants, a fannypack of sorts for her clay, and Shinobi sandals. At times she may wear a black jacket and her cloak, but for the most part, this is her casual appearance. However, when on work, she usually wears a red cloak with two stripes of white on the bottom, typically to keep the elements off her, or for some extra warmth. When on duty, she has a bandolier draped over her small body for the purposes of carrying her various items of interest. Typically, she doesn't dress too heavily. On the back of her body are two quick loaders for easy access to ninja tools, and she has one on the front of her leg as well for some immediate weapon withdrawal. Great for when there's a pinch. She wears her headband on top of her head, proudly revealing her Iwagakure status.
Sometimes, Hikari closes her left eye to gain a bit of greater clarity over the world and to perceive her senses a bit better, an artist technique, as she gazes around her surroundings. A bit of a special note about this girl, is her hands are far more delicate and dainty than most other Shinobi, though they are dexterous as they are the main components of her art. Rarely does she physically exhaust herself with trivial matters of taijutsu, and her body reflects that. However, she wouldn't exactly call herself dainty. As an orphan, and an artist, she doesn't bother herself as much with food as with art. So, one could really say she doesn't make a ton of money as a legal adult. She gets fed by her clan every now and then though, so things work out. She doesn't have as much of that baby fat as other little kids might.
Background
Born as a Toujitakumi means that one is very familiar with the concept of art, and even more so with the art of clay molding. She had been born with the bloodline of her clan, and thus had been able to learn its arts. Her mother had passed when she was very small, leaving her and her father to live together. When Hikari was five years old, she had taken a fascination in the craft of her father, but he was not a Shinobi. He was a simple artisan, and frankly, he was one that needed some work. It was a struggle to compete against the more experienced artisans of the clan, and he was generally poor. At times, people would criticize and mock his art he'd paint along his pottery, and she always remembered such.
Even still, she loved the man. Often times, he looked to his daughter with a look of happiness, but he hid and inner sadness, one that would eventually consume him. As a six year old girl, she was already somewhat versed in training of the clan's jutsu and techniques, excelling in the Iwagakure ninja curriculum. However, as she came home one day, she saw the man's pottery had lied broken, shattered into thousands of pieces. "Papa?" As she entered the bedroom they both shared, she found the man dead in the middle of the room, an empty bottle of poison before him, not even a note to explain his bitter pain and feelings. She laid on top of him and hugged him, sucking out the warmth he had remaining from his bitter corpse.
Within the years that passed, she understood what he did, and she grew slightly spiteful of the man, though she still undoubtedly loved him. However, she found that his weakness was that he lacked confidence in his art. She on the other hand had the utmost faith in her art, trusting in it without indignation. The art was the creation of her hand, and thus, so long as she was pleased with it, it was perfection. She was considered a prodigial student in her classes, at least when it came down to ninjutsu, and she had shown an aptitude for genjutsu as well. Art had become a facet of her escape from the reality she lived in.
A mere three years later from the day of her father's suicide, she had graduated already. She moved in with some relatives that were willing to tolerate her to say the least. It wasn't that they weren't hospitable or anything, but she was simply not so interested in staying around a home environment much. Instead, she'd wander around the outside wilderness, looking for creatures to study for her art. Instead, she'd wander around the village and talk with people as well as learn about the world around her.
Like that, Toujitakumi Hikari was a full fledged genin of Iwagakure. While she hasn't been put on any team as of yet, her intention as of now is to earn herself a bit of money so she can take care of herself, buy herself a plethora of molding clay, and show the whole village why she will be the greatest artist the village has ever produced. At least, that's the intention of her goal. Her old family home lies forgotten, either that or more likely lived in by another clan member. Honestly, she doesn't care much about that. Occasionally, she visits the grave of her old man, talking to it as she makes some art in the meantime.

The bag is meant to carry a variety of clay, and protect the clay from the outside elements. A person usually wears this bag around there upper thigh, but there are not limited to this area. The bag varies in sizes, meaning that different amounts of clay may be held as well.

L(Large bag. Jounin class): Holds 40 slots, 1500 Ryo

Personality
A bubbly little girl who currently just wants do what she can for her village and for the growing culmination of her art. A very young girl, but one that displays a discerning eye to the arts of clay molding. She enjoys spending her time looking out into the natural world for inspiration for her clay creation arts, and believes that art is about experiencing things in life. For that very reason, she had become a Iwagakure no Sato genin, aspired for such a profession. She trained incredibly dutifully with the full intent of graduating as soon as possible, often being seen as a determined soul when it came to things she was passionate about, she wanted to see the world and ninja did just that.
She typically has an adorable demeanor, and often feels a little uncomfortable being around people, especially if they are critics to art. She especially feels uncomfortable around critics due to a tragic event in her past. As an orphan, she's in general a bit touchy on the matter of parents. Often in her spare time, one might find this child is a bit boisterous, exploring around Iwagakure for new art, new things to do, new experiences in general. She's not hard to impress or fascinate due to her limited outlook on the world. She has an air of confidence in most of her skills, but lies especially with faith in her art. Without her art, she is nothing but a normal girl, she acknowledges this wholeheartedly.
An interesting aspect of this girl, is often, she views humans as works of art as well. If she were to put it into a way of simple understanding, humans are works of clay, and she wants to be the Prometheus. She utilizes genjutsu with the idea that understanding how art thinks, and how to change what it thinks, is basically the same as molding art to her desired image. Hikari likes to be babied, fawned over, and loved by people. She loves attention, for that reason sometimes being seen as a havoc to society as she flaunts off her art. All in all though? She's a good kid. She aspires to become the greatest artist that Iwagakure has ever seen. Often, she loves taking missions as a way to show her art's grandeur and to earn more funding to create more art in tandem.
In her leisure, she spends time training, reading, practicing some other skills, and maybe even occasionally going to friends. She enjoys spending time with her clan members, talking about the meaning and comprehension of art. Sometimes, she competed her art against the art of her others. This Toujitakumi member lives for the moment and thrill of living, not the drawn out peacetimes. She's a little restless, but then again, most eight year old kids are. One could only wonder what her life will become as she grows older.
Appearance
She has a rounded, youthful face with a clear complexion. Hikari has brown eyes, a button nose, a long ponytail of spiky blonde hair that extends to the upper part of her back, and fair white skin. She is 5'2 and is generally average weight and height for a girl her age. She is a lithe and agile frame as opposed to one of a more muscular or powerful build. She unfortunately was not born with the second mouth hand that some of her more fortunate clan members were able to unlock at an earlier age than some.
Often, this girl has a smile on her face as she's working, almost never without a pouch of clay on her person. She typically wears a simple red long sleeve shirt, a set of brown pants, a fannypack of sorts for her clay, and Shinobi sandals. At times she may wear a black jacket and her cloak, but for the most part, this is her casual appearance. However, when on work, she usually wears a red cloak with two stripes of white on the bottom, typically to keep the elements off her, or for some extra warmth. When on duty, she has a bandolier draped over her small body for the purposes of carrying her various items of interest. Typically, she doesn't dress too heavily. On the back of her body are two quick loaders for easy access to ninja tools, and she has one on the front of her leg as well for some immediate weapon withdrawal. Great for when there's a pinch. She wears her headband on top of her head, proudly revealing her Iwagakure status.
Sometimes, Hikari closes her left eye to gain a bit of greater clarity over the world and to perceive her senses a bit better, an artist technique, as she gazes around her surroundings. A bit of a special note about this girl, is her hands are far more delicate and dainty than most other Shinobi, though they are dexterous as they are the main components of her art. Rarely does she physically exhaust herself with trivial matters of taijutsu, and her body reflects that. However, she wouldn't exactly call herself dainty. As an orphan, and an artist, she doesn't bother herself as much with food as with art. So, one could really say she doesn't make a ton of money as a legal adult. She gets fed by her clan every now and then though, so things work out. She doesn't have as much of that baby fat as other little kids might.
Background
Born as a Toujitakumi means that one is very familiar with the concept of art, and even more so with the art of clay molding. She had been born with the bloodline of her clan, and thus had been able to learn its arts. Her mother had passed when she was very small, leaving her and her father to live together. When Hikari was five years old, she had taken a fascination in the craft of her father, but he was not a Shinobi. He was a simple artisan, and frankly, he was one that needed some work. It was a struggle to compete against the more experienced artisans of the clan, and he was generally poor. At times, people would criticize and mock his art he'd paint along his pottery, and she always remembered such.
Even still, she loved the man. Often times, he looked to his daughter with a look of happiness, but he hid and inner sadness, one that would eventually consume him. As a six year old girl, she was already somewhat versed in training of the clan's jutsu and techniques, excelling in the Iwagakure ninja curriculum. However, as she came home one day, she saw the man's pottery had lied broken, shattered into thousands of pieces. "Papa?" As she entered the bedroom they both shared, she found the man dead in the middle of the room, an empty bottle of poison before him, not even a note to explain his bitter pain and feelings. She laid on top of him and hugged him, sucking out the warmth he had remaining from his bitter corpse.
Within the years that passed, she understood what he did, and she grew slightly spiteful of the man, though she still undoubtedly loved him. However, she found that his weakness was that he lacked confidence in his art. She on the other hand had the utmost faith in her art, trusting in it without indignation. The art was the creation of her hand, and thus, so long as she was pleased with it, it was perfection. She was considered a prodigial student in her classes, at least when it came down to ninjutsu, and she had shown an aptitude for genjutsu as well. Art had become a facet of her escape from the reality she lived in.
A mere three years later from the day of her father's suicide, she had graduated already. She moved in with some relatives that were willing to tolerate her to say the least. It wasn't that they weren't hospitable or anything, but she was simply not so interested in staying around a home environment much. Instead, she'd wander around the outside wilderness, looking for creatures to study for her art. Instead, she'd wander around the village and talk with people as well as learn about the world around her.
Like that, Toujitakumi Hikari was a full fledged genin of Iwagakure. While she hasn't been put on any team as of yet, her intention as of now is to earn herself a bit of money so she can take care of herself, buy herself a plethora of molding clay, and show the whole village why she will be the greatest artist the village has ever produced. At least, that's the intention of her goal. Her old family home lies forgotten, either that or more likely lived in by another clan member. Honestly, she doesn't care much about that. Occasionally, she visits the grave of her old man, talking to it as she makes some art in the meantime.
