Kouba Outpost
On the outskirts of Kusa no kuni is a somewhat deserted place, grassland and sometimes savannah is the terrain around here, yet there are also trees and small groups of other vegetation. There is no real civilization around the outskirts, sometimes a merchant or traveler is seen, but no animals or even birds fly around this part eerily. There is however a small ‘village’ in a small forest near the outskirts, this ‘village’ is inhabited by the rejects and monsters of Kusa no Kuni, the notorious and dangerous Kouba Clan. They’re ‘village’ is in no way friendly or appealing to visit, not even to a desperate traveler, and to those that dare enter, if they see fit, the Members will kill the trespasser. Their homes are nothing fancy, far from it, being constructed out of tree’s, caves, holes, and makeshift huts, all things that helped them with their connection to the earth.

Zechui was tired of waiting for his brother, and tired of waiting around for something to happen, this was boring and he was getting restless; being rooted to the ground for now he sighed and shook his head. The flytrap closed over his body, his clothes melding into the inside onto him as he closed his eyes and began to sink slowly into the ground, the flytrap swaying to and fro. The destination was going to be far from the ‘village’ since he didn’t care much for it anyway; truth be told, no one did, that’s why if they get attacked, they close up and sink into the ground. Leaving behind everything there and just setting up a new home wherever they feel it is necessary, the Kouba’s somewhat peaceful solution for invasions. Even though none of the Kouba really liked one another, they figured that living together might somehow make a difference to living alone, even if they don’t interact. It was all a very confusing matter to Zechui, since he never talked to anyone besides his brother and that was how everyone was.
