Yoko had successfully managed to defeat a monster that threatened the very balance of nature itself, a creature so powerful that it threatened to end life as we knew it. But alas, with her mission completed she needed to head back to her village to resume her administrative duties, after a short spell of rest and relaxation. Unfortunately, her last day of rest was cut short she was not able to take a leisurely stroll after her four-hour session of medication upon the lessons contained within her Miracles and Mysteries book. Instead, it seemed however that the world had other plans for her, she had received reports that undead creatures were appearing on mass in the local area, reports that a hero could not ignore. As such, the return leg of her journey would have to wait for the time being she was to hunt down the undead and destroy them.
Yoko stood at a staggeringly small two foot eight inches, that made it somewhat difficult to not only spot her but to know that she was an actual human as opposed to a woodland creature. The augmentations that her body possessed added to this whole state of confusion, for she possessed a third eye on her forehead and a prehensile tail, although the latter was hidden away and the former was closed. Rather her hazy form augment was the one that would affect any onlooker the most, making it difficult to lay eyes upon her as light-refracting spores were constantly shed by her body making her form appear hazy and indistinct.
The young Mizukage also possessed the uncanny ability to poison within two-metres, traps within five-metres, and unusual stonework within three-metres. Repositioning herself and/or taking preventative measure should she encounter any of the aforementioned elements. She was assisted further in this endeavour by her blue-eyed gem and eyes of the plane jutsu.
As she advanced through the area she kept her perfect stabilised recurve-bow in her dominant hand, using its x14 zoom function as and when required to scout areas on route. On the side of the weapon was a small quiver that carried within it ten arrows, they had fire-forged steel master-worked boreworm tips, balanced shafts and spinning razor blade fletching. On the forearm of her dominant arm was her lightweight buckler. On her back she carried with her a spare recurve bow, that enhanced the damage of the arrows fired from it, it had been enhanced with the guided and precision seals.
She supplemented this supply of arrows by carrying two quivers on her back beside her backpack, together they could carry four-hundred arrows. Which the young Mizukage had elected to fill with: a hundred balanced razor blade fletched arrows that had Elysian bronze broadhead points on them. Eight balanced razor blade fletched arrows with explosive arrowheads which the Mizukage had created herself. Eighty-four balanced razor blade arrows that had broadhead points, split equally between true, spinning, and normal. A hundred and thirteen arrows that were of the same configuration but made from anti-gravitic ore, 37 true, 37 spinning, 39 normal. Finally, three balanced boreworm tipped arrows that had spinning razorblade fletchings.
The young Mizukage's attire was standard issue for a Hidden Mist Scout Sniper in Cold weather conditions: a soft-shell jacket, a long-sleeved fleece shirt, waterproof leather boots, and soft-shell trousers fitted with a belt, all of the items with the exception of the black boots were camouflaged, all were fire resistant. A moderate orange gem of energy was set into the belt. She also wore a set of camouflage leather stalker gloves, a digital watch, and warm socks. Yoko had previously stripped the outfit of anything that would denote her rank or position within the village, no rank, no headband, etc. The camouflage itself was suboptimal for this environment having been selected for a charred woodland as opposed to this healthy forest, even so, the earthen tones throughout and her small stature meant that it was somewhat useful for blending into the forest floor or rocky areas.
Over the top of her jacket she wore a tactical vest as a form of storage for the various light-arms she carried on her person, it was fitted with two utility pouches, five half-pouches, and five quick release pouches. She had set a slight green gem of energy into the chest piece. The first half pouch contained various phials of oils: Hang Man’s, Hybrid, Necrophage, Relict, and Spectre. With her quick pouches all containing a single type of item only: two knives of mortal’s woe, a spring razor, and three samum grenades. The only exception to this rule was the final pouch that contains a variety of different gems: a skull of strength, troll stone, lightning stone, an eye of the tiger and a Gerber multi-tool. The first utility pouch that she wore contained her rogue stone, glass cutter, two phials of cat potion, three of rapid rust, and her tears of the fairy stone. The next one contained her two compasses, dungeoneer’s and regular, two excellent medium padlocks and their keys, fifteen zip ties, a spyglass, and a standard-flask that contained 2 pints of rum. Her half pouches also contained a single type of item, an Umbrite Ka-Bar knife, three phials of suffocating powder, five of blinding powder, a pint wineskin filled with water, ten processed Spanish Nuts, and an amazing map of the region.
The next layer of equipment was all non-standard issue, she wore umbrite gauntlets, greaves and a helmet. The helmet was fitted to be a part of her mask which she had fashioned from the skull of a green hag. She had fitted the headset with a wireless radio, a rebreather, and specially treated ballistic goggles. With an all-seeing eye embedded into the helmet, and a gem of the wise into the mask and a red slight gem of energy was set into the goggles. The goggles possessed an anti-flash treatment that would help to prevent her already augmented eyes from resisting blindness even further while also ensured that sunlight would not glint to alert enemies of her position. Various different types of vision had been installed into the goggles and could be toggled at the touch of a button: lie-detector, substance locator, underwater, x-ray, night-vision, canny descrier, camera, condition viewing, and infra-vision. Around her neck, she wore a chain of knowledge beset with a Death’s Tear, and on her left ring finger, she wore a ring beset with an awareness tone and another on her right that had a gem of reflection set into it. The gauntlets were fitted with a modular field cauteriser, a rebar splint, a shock enhancement, a med diagnostic scanner, a mine/emitter disruptor, a plasma protein replicator, a grapnel gun, and a clear moderate gem of energy.
The young Mizukage still had sufficient supplies for a fourty-eight-hour period, having consumed only a days worth of her orginal supply during her mission, and spending the time after her mission in a catered hotel. These supplies were contained within or attached to her MOLLE II assault pack, which was covered in a camouflage pack cover. The pack contained a hydration system filled with two quarts of water for quick hydration on the go, a Tactical Transceiver, two high calorie ration kits which were the equivalent of six meals, twenty-two phials of scent killer, twenty sheets of parchment, a skull of the ghost, a skull of healing, fifteen sunrods, a noqual entrenching tool and a signal mirror. On the side of the backpack, Yoko carried her noqual kukri for ease of use.
Inside her backpack, the Mizukage stored several smaller containers that could be removed, each contained grouped items. The first of these was a ziplocked bag containing her navigation equipment excluding the aforementioned compasses and map, it contained her mechanical pencil, an alcohol pen, and a fifteen-centimetre straight-edged ruler. A waterproof Exped bag containing a poncho, five sets of socks, a spare jacket, shirt, headwear, and pants that matched the ones she was wearing. Another waterproof ziplocked bag containing flint, a dozen waterproofed matches in a waterproof container, and sixteen metres of nylon kernmantle paracord. Finally, she carried with her a small waterproofed medical kit that contained, six gravitic pressure bandages, two antiseptic cleaning pads with ointment, two sets of rubber surgical gloves and two large safety pins, six doses of Sanicle in a preserving flask.
The last piece of attire that she wore was a cloak of the Hyūga it covered all of her equipment and body yet allowed for easy access to her arrows and other items so as to not inhibit her ability to fight. This means that her prehensile tail could remain hidden while it held firmly to her luckbringer dice ensuring that their effect remains active constantly.
