"You know if you don't actually hurt him. I can't actually... heal him." Nex said with boredom, dripping from her voice. "I don't actually want to hurt the guy." Jormungandr said as the wind that he had blew died down. Nex scoffed a bit at Jormungandr, the boy was a lot softer than she would expect of a child of Loki. Jormungandr sighed, and then then said, "Fine... but if he really gets hurt and you can't heal him. That's on you." Jormungandr eyes eyes lite up and power. As the light in his eyes shined the power of his Venator gaze became more potent.

He was not really trying to use the ability on the Kirin at this point. He just wanted to to perfect this power that he had began to unlock. He could feel the strength moving through his body, but it was still a bit too wild to bring into focus how he wanted. However, everything was not about him at the moment. He wanted to assist the Kirin a bit as well. He used his free hand to rub the back of his neck and then then sighed. He extended his arm and sent out a slash with his dagger. His eyes baring down on his sparing partner.

As he sent sent out the slash, a blade of wind slashed out from the invisible daggers in his hand. The like of slashing wind could deal damage exceeding 100AP of Damage. and was about 10meters in length, and 2meters wide. The line off wind would ignore all forms of concealment, which would include the Kirin concealing itself behind it's shield. Jormungandr then sent out another casual slash of his weapon, sending out another slash of wind. As he watched the wind moving through the air compressed, he began to compress the power that was escaping from his eyes. He could now see the world around him with far more clarity than before.

The blades of wind that Jormungandr sent out at Barbas, would race past him regardless. The strands of wind collided against the Tenkai wall that Loki had created. It bounced off the wall, as if it were nothing at all. Such was the power of the barriers that Loki could know construct. She looked over at the barrier and at what Jormungandr was doing, and just shrugged her shoulders. "Just don't kill the lad please?" Loki said as she looked over at her barrier. It didn't seem that the wind blade had done anything at all to the barrier, but she could still feel the power behind the attack.

As she felt the power of the wind clash against the her Tenkai wall she turned her attention back towards Yoko..."Hmmm? What are you waiting on me? I assumed you had more questions. Well in that case. My turn... Tell me, if after this conversation, you see me as a threat, what would be your first course of action? No details necessary... just bullet points would do."

The magic was going to need to be compressed into layers. One right on top of the other just like a simple cake. There were hundreds and hundreds of different ways to lay an enchantment down on a piece of metal. But really what it was burning down to was how I could find a way to make it the strongest. The first way was through simple runic warding. I started to slowly mold the chakra into specific shapes. 

Runic rituals were often the easiest way to go about enlaying an enchantment because the movement itself is literally spelled out. Words of ancient magic often carried power. But seldom were they the strongest. Still, with runes I'd be able to spell out, literally. A very specific message that I wanted to impart or enchant on the item. Taking a moment and slowly adding layers to the chakra I'd impart on the runes. 

A few moments would pass as I'd look up to catch a small fight getting ready and going on the way. I'd watch patiently to see when the actual techniques were gonna start flying. As of right now it seemed like it had all the makings of an interesting match. I'd move a little bit out of the way as I started making my way across the road. Quickly throwing my robe up around me as I did.

Description: The base technique that allows the user to increase their Guard Meter. Guard Meter allows a user to block oncoming attacks before their guard is broken. The Guard Meter decreases as the user blocks attacks. When the meter reaches to 0, the guard is broken and the user is unable to block further attacks. The Guard Meter regenerates over time. The User replenishes their Guard Meter 1/6th every Second so long as they are not within the Guard Position. When the user is in their Guard Position the Guard Meter will not replenish. Each time the user learns this technique they gain Points to their Guard Meter equal to the amount of Training Points needed to learn this Technique. This means if the user is "D" Class and learns this technique they gain 80 Guard Meter Points, while if the user is "S" Class the user gains 40 Guard Meter Points since it takes 40 Training Points to learn this technique. User may learn this technique multiple times. Each time learned the points is applied to the Guard Meter.

How interesting it seemed that the pipefox in Loki's party actually wanted to see Barbas get hurt, presumably to practise its medical, on the other hand,r, on the other hand, claimed not to share these feelings instead the implication was that he was pulling his punches. Barbas realised that if he was to protect Yoko from all forms of attacks, then he still had quite a considerable amount of training to do in this style.

His focus for the moment was around combining his defensive abilities namely the ability to endure powerful attacks with the ability to evade those that it served no purpose to defend against. Also if he could constantly shift between a guarded and unguarded position he could recharge his defensive capabilities making him all the harder to defeat, especially when the rate of recovery was not flat but rather a percentage.

This meant that if the creature was able to amass a large enough number even a second of recharge could be sufficient to become a problem for an opponent, it would effectively function like regeneration: once the rate of recover reached a critical mass it was very difficult to deal with. However that was all fantasy for the moment, instead, he had to deal with what was occurring at the present.

Per the change in air pressure, Barbas could feel once again that something was happening even if he lacked the ability to see it, apparently Jourmangandr was a wind user. Yoko, on the other hand, focused her attention on unlocking the final part of the artisan path, her concentration and innate skill meant that the technique shouldn't take to long to fully master. It seemed from her experience that crafting was a rather simple task.

Alchemy was her true focus but for the time being she had to study how to create better artisan works if she wanted to gain the full effect of the items that she desired. The question was how much longer would it be before she had fully mastered the art? There was certainly a few techniques that the youth wished to acquire but how difficult this would be was subject to a bit of debate. Instead, all that she could do was continue to focus on her own technique.

This final stage of the technique promised to convey a deeper understanding of not just crafting but also skills as a whole with the practitioner being able to select multiple skills with which they would have heightened ability to use in combat situations and the like. This alone was enough cause for the youth to commit herself to the learning of this technique, however, the added benefits of being a better crafter were also promising boons.

As for Loki's question, what to do about her if she thought that she was a threat. There were so many different ways that she could have answered that but was it really a good idea for an assassin to reveal their cards. A truthful answer would be to kill her, not at this very moment but still, if she was a threat to the world then Yoko would have endeavoured to assassinate the witch at a time of weakness.

“It depends on how big of a threat you are, and to what.” Yoko momentary paused. “but I'd do what I must for the greater good.” While she certainly hadn't said that she would have tried to kill Loki, the implication was there, or rather that she would at least try. Yoko's pipefox observed proceedings carefully listening to the party as they interacted. For the time being it was focused on enhancing its skill with genjutsus, as opposed to the healing arts that Loki's fox had adopted.

The technique that the pipefox currently had in mind was centred around reducing the cost of its own technique, at the cost of range. One might have asked why anyone would want such a technique, but the idea was to use it when the opponent was already inside that range, thus it had no downside what so ever but instead allowed for faster casting and lower chakra consumption. Overall quite a powerful technique for the pipefox to learn.

"Greater Good hmm? Good is relative, but I understand the sentiment. Regardless, I can respect your comment, and your candor." Loki said as she folded her arms and the barriers around began to fade away. Her legs uncrossed, and her feet floated back down to the ground. Jormungandr looked over to see what his mother was doing, and it seemed like the conversation was beginning to come to an end. Jormungandr was about to go on the attack, but stopped himself, "I looks like their conversation is winding down. Maybe we can continued this later." Jormungandr said, as he began tuck his daggers onto his person once more.

Nex let out a yawn, as she was quite bored, she didn't get to do anything at at all. Loki looked over at Jormungandr, and motioned for him to come over. She then turned her attention back over towards the Mizukage, "Do you have any other questions for me, before I ask the only question I think is important?" Loki said with a smile as she waited to hear what else the Kage had to ask, if she had anything left she was curious about.
