Clair eran after her Y'la spirit with questions on her mind, thoughts reeling and grasping for any sense of normalcy. How long had this thing tailed her her life? When she joined the Venator Sanction and the leaders had gazed upon her with those deep set eyes she knew that look. Caution. Her very presence unnerved the elders and they denied her promotion, denied her the rites to learning those sacred techs the more established members had gotten their hands on. Her disdain was felt through the whole building back then.
That was probably why they threw her into that squad and then dumped her off in the damn desert. Far, far away from any other villages or people save for Suna with the hopes she'd just be complacent. They'd abandoned her like an old damn dog too withered to play ball anymore. It made her stomach twist irritably. All the bad in her life? Her home? Her family? Her friends? Being lonely? Being so damn twisted and broken inside all the time? She was projecting that everywhere and perhaps it had attracted this spirit or worse the spirit had amplified it!
Entering in through a door she saw smashed wood on the floor, the clack of joints and materials and the rustle of activity. She stood in a room with two others and some rather sinister looking puppets. Without thinking she drew her bow, whispered an enchantment of inanimate and fired off three bolts in the same time the sound of one went off, imbued with the Venator blessings to strike down inanimate objects with innate force of will. She fired...and would keep firing till they stopped moving all while doing her best to remain aware of the others in the room.
