Effect: The user is able to see much further than normal and access an X-Ray ability.

Drawback: Must have the Byakugan active. May learn up to ∞ times.
Description: When concentrating to See Through Chakra, the character can also spend time equal to Handseals to gain the ability to see through objects with X-ray like vision up to 10 meters from the user. This does not impede the user's line of sight and the distance a user can normally see, however they simply will not be able to use the X-ray ability beyond 10 meters. When the user first learns this technique the user trains it as a regular "C" Rank Jutsu. Each additional training allows the user to use the X-Ray ability for an additional 10 meters. For every 50 meters the user trains an additional +10 Training Points added to their previous training. The user also suffers a penalty to Observation checks every 15 meters instead of every 3 meters. If user loses an eye (has 1 eye) Telescopic Eye is reduced by 50%. Future learning also reduces distance by 50%. X-ray cannot see through Disguise, however they automatically make an Observation check against those in Disguise even against those who do not draw any attention to themselves.

"SHUT UP!!"

Tomo yelled, throwing a small rock at Jimmerly. The bird dodged but quickly ceased its screeching. Tomo just couldn't understand why this awful beast was so intent on following him around. But now he could focus. There were five individuals nearby. Four that he could see, so from Tomo's perspective the initial number was four. His byakugan examined them thoroughly.

One of them was a stranger, the other three he was at least somewhat familiar with. Harue being his current best friend, and her companion Ōmo, who seemed much less annoying than Jimmer at the moment. The other was Yuri, his Kage. Tomo supposed a polite greeting was in order, but instead chose to remain seated. The contents of his stomach threatened to rise as he did. He shook his head momentarily, holding in a contained gagging noise.

His vision blurred for a moment, before expanding slightly again. This time his vision briefly moved beyond twenty meters before retreating again. In the meantime, Tomo examined the strange creature standing before him that he'd yet to meet. Who was this? They didn't seem especially strong, but perhaps appearances can be deceiving.

hat exactly is...a 'delegate' of Grass? Are you some sort of Fairy Spirit?" She asked Harue, looking over at Omo to determine if he were some sort of familiar spirit. Before them all like a three-pronged phalanx of edged light, three Spirit Blades shaped like small katanas materialized in the air just above and to the front of Harue, Omo, and Forest-Ogre-Dono protectively. The bladed edges faced out, pointed as if preparing to be launched forwards like spears. One was fixed on the silhouette on the hill. One was fixed on the androgyne, one on his bird. Nflm's stare would take in Harue with her soul, moving then to her pink lion companion, and attempting to gather what she could of their prowess. Harue was a Sensitive, like Nflm, and also one who could wield her own soul. But she had affinity in an area that Nflm did not recognize, and was not familiar with.

"Your...body-mind energy is...coiled weird. What are you doing to your astral-metric? You are nearing critical sub-planar decohesion. Your body-mind energy is like...like the darkness. Like true darkness. A bit alive." Ignorant of genjutsu entirely, Nflm theorized that Harue was perhaps a minor planar demon, a type she had not met before. And here she was without her best horns on! Huh? How did she know these things? Her memories danced, fragmented, a smear of passionless scenes from a life too chaotic to extract information from. What had happened to her? What would happen to her now? She focused once more on the strange male, the bird and xyr living perch, spirit blades unwavering, hungry for the taste of blood. Were her senses becoming more attuned?

The old friend filled in the rest of Harue's beginning of a statement, though it wasn't quite what she'd expected. Her body loses control for a moment, landing her in reality with the rest of them. She feels impossibly heavy and her knees buckle just barely enough under her to hasten the process of breaking her form back down to half its substantiation. At least the warmth of the sun and numerous body heats was pleasant for a moment, but that too soon dissipates and becomes nothing more than a soft hum to her.

As the new friend reciprocates Harue's awkward staring, Harue realizes just how odd she must've seemed moments ago. She snickers strangely and rubs the back of her head, breaking eye contact in favor of a particularly ripe cloud. Only continuing to search the sky because Nifflem's question throws her off guard, Harue hopes that perhaps the answer to it will be spelled out in fluffy white wisps of condensed water. She also felt somewhat like a cloud, both there and not. "Well, I.. I represent Yuri and her land," she offers. No need to confuse the alien further, and part of her knew not to give delicate information to someone who wasn't keen to it already, even if it was somewhat common knowledge for 'normal' citizens.

Harue's chin finally falls and she looks to Nifflem briefly before looking over the new addition to the party. At least the blades were pointed away from the concerning trio, but Harue eyed the one pointed at Tomo and his avian intruder. She wondered if they'd have to be careful, considering for the first time just how dangerous her new alien friend could potentially be. Her referred to 'energy' trick bristles and flares for a time, but the bizarre pattern of NFLM's speech confuses her enough to keep a steady hold on the condition of her form. Their confusion was something to have in common. "I'm manipulating my, um... astral-metric with a form of mental influence." She says honestly, trying to put it in a way that won't upset the balance of understanding between them.

They'd definitely noticed him. The strange figure standing near Harue and Yuri summoned spirit blades, and pointed two of them at Tomo and his companion. Peering pitilessly at Jimmer, he sighed briefly. Placing part of his expanded vision on the newly revealed stranger who stood slightly further away. He was... definitely not worth wasting his efforts on, but nevertheless his vision remained for a moment.

"Oi oi..."

Tomo finally spoke, directing his squinted gaze towards the creature who was perhaps friendly with his comrades. After considering his options for a few moments, he continued,

"That's so bright..."

Whether the blades illuminated their surroundings much mattered not to the inebriated Hyuuga. The chakra the blades were composed of seemed to disagree with the focused Tomo.

His response wasn't so much of a flinch as it was an entirely composed narrowing of his eyelids. He didn't seem frightened by the objects in the slightest, least of all the one pointed at Jimmer. The exasperating creature was now on his head again, pretending to ignore the blade that was pointed at him. Perhaps the stranger would deem Tomo as less of a threat, and remove the weapons from his general direction.

Yuri raised an eyebrow as she looked over at this Nflm, person. He Byakugan stared the girl down in took in everything about her. she was fairly strong as far as she could, tell, and from the way she talked she didn't seem too familiar with... anything. Yuri still didn't trust this newcomer much. Yuri's Byakugan then focused in on Harue for a moment, as she looked over at her she saw the way that her chakra moved through her body and how her chakra was molding and wrapping around itself. It gave off a sickly feeling of shadow. This was something that she had noticed several times before but to this point was never able to put a name to it.

"It's genjutsu. Or... I guess you can say illusion magic. That is the quasi real form of genjutsu, known as Shadow perception." Yuri said as she walked passed Harue, patting her on the shoulder. he girl was getting stronger every day in the ways of her genjutsu. And Yuri knew that she was going to have to up her ability to see through such things if she was going to keep calling herself Harue's Kage. But it seemed the Byakugan already provided her with the tools necessary to do so. She'd had to look into this further, perhaps know would he the best time.

She stop in front of Tomo and gave him a slap across the face to wake him up a bit more. Thee boy was hung over, in no condition for a mission, or any sort of fight at the moment. "Address your kage and clansmen appropriately, Tomo... you little shit." Yuri said in a joking tone. She really didn't care able formalities, but Tomo was always just a bit too disrespectful for her liking, even if they were cousins, it could grate on the nerves. Yuri then looked back over a Nflm, her paper Sword still floating next to her, " Not an Orge. According to that hag demon, I'm more fey than anything else." Yuri's Byakugan pierced through her hood.

"You're an unknown here. But I'd rather treat you as a guest, and not a hostile. If that is at all possible." As Yuri said this, Mr. Nette, seemed to have his interest peeked as he began to manifest his form for anyone with the ability to see or sense him. (Byakugan's and Onigami should be able to see him, any kind of spirit sense should be able to feel him.) He overbearing cursed nature began to wrap around Yuri, as his oppressive chains rattled as he wrapped his arms around her shoulders. The little dragon spirit of her blade, rested on top of Mr. Nette's head as it too seemed to be readying itself for the worst.

Yuri had no problem doing exactly what Harue had been avoiding... Confuse the alien further with the truth. Not that it was bothersome however, and the touch that Harue receives from her highness, while brief, makes her straighten and glow. The weight of her form increases and she becomes whole long enough to feel Yuri's touch fully. Her body fizzles out and becomes less corporeal again once Yuri has moved past her flawlessly, and the pinkette looks over Nifflem again, quiet but with a content and unblemished expression as Yuri speaks and pseudo-threatens. She wanted NFLM to know she was still safe on their side, so she gave a pleasant nod. Would the alien girl recognize a smile?

The slap that had rung from Tomo's cheek decompresses Harue's mass, spiking her defensive affinity. Her shadow chakra swirls around her core, seeming to darken as her wraithform becomes momentarily more intense. She loses the momentum when she looks down to her pink beast, watching as he licks at his paw languidly. It was good to see one of the lot at complete and utter ease and disinterest. Harue's eyes lose their faint glow as she focuses more instead on her own reality. There was a commotion around her for sure, but she had a moment to herself it seemed.

Taking a moment to pet her trusted sidekick, Harue drops a hand into Omo's mane. She can still feel it, but he feels distant, somehow muted. She tangles her fingers in his mane and he looks up to her finally, blinking slowly before resuming the cleaning of between his toes. Harue tilts her head, looking back between the ones closest to her. Could she feel them through her sensitive form? Or did it not extend outwards like that? Despite having mastered the shadow arts, she was still a bit blind when it came to these things. She was more accustomed to the soul after all. She supposed manipulating her form in this way wasn't much unlike the things she'd done through casting that very essence, though. So this shouldn't be too different for her.

[/i] She would not be fooled by Forest Ogre mind tricks! She winked at the ogre knowingly, refocusing her gaze on the closest enemy, and his bird thing. "Hostility protocols can only be engaged if contact with an enemy is confirmed, Forest-Ogre-Sempai. Nflm does not wish to stay in your land." The silhouette on the hill remained in the same place and her sensory focus intensified. Her soul flowed like water over the treacherous grass spread.

Slap! Combat seemed to have begun! Nflm was overjoyed, preparing to skewer the two of them where they stood, but Harue seemed reserved. If not actively struggling with some internal thoughts, she was at the very least, restraining herself from something. Nflm tried to understand the context of the interpersonal relationship displayed before her as she absorbed information about each new arrival. The androgynous boy was known to them. He was 'not enemy', and the two blades focused on xyr and xyr bird rotated up and away, spun as if tossed by a giant's hand, arching over the group until all three spirit-forged swords were aimed at the man on the hill. Nflm faced Harue-chan with a pleasant expression and asked with earnest, "Nflm wants to go home. This is not home. How far is 'Land of Grass' from 'Land of Monsters', Harue-chan?" Nflm asked her new 'delegate' friend, fumbling her knowledge of common with the last word, saying 'Monsters' instead of the more exact phrase 'Demons'.  She felt more comfortable having assessed the relative power level and skillset of those around her, but the stranger on the hill remained elusive and too physically far removed for further assessment.

"I'm not a... *sigh*... Orge." Yuri said ass she continued to look over towards the the stranger off int he distance. As she looked at the man her Byakugan began to see patterns forming in the air around them. This was not chakra related, but it was something that she had not noticed in the nature around her before. Was this always there, just out of reach of her vision? No... it wasn't. It was just her Y'la spirit playing tricks on her because it was expecting a fight, and is now just floating around. However, as Yuri looked over at Mr. Nette, she figured she could use the creature for her own training.

Mr. Nette looked at Yuri confused, and Yuri smiled as her Byakugan looked over his body. He had a rather odd chakra system, she wondered if she could call it chakra at all. But her Byakugan could see through it, just like everything else. Mr. Nette looked at her knowingly and began to form playful illusions once again. As he began to form them, she could see them, forming in his system before the energy was emitted from his body. Yuri smiled, as with this she could give herself a sort of early warning system when it came to Genjutsu, allowing her to break them, or avoid them altogether, before the had time to fully form.

While she was thinking about this and the possibilities, something that Nflm said caught her attention. "Land of Monsters? So... are you from that Monster City in Moon?" Yuri asked as she looked over her shoulder at Nflm. "And for the last time, I'm not an Ogre... I'm human. With a apparent Fey lineage. You do know the difference between a Fey and Ogre right?" Yuri asked inquisitively. This... thing was a strange one. She didn't seem to know too much of anything.

Effect: A prerequisite technique that allows the user to perform Water Release techniques.

Description: This technique does not count against the user's Release Training Points. Water is one of the basic elemental nature transformation techniques allowing the user to manipulate pre-existing water by turning their Chakra into Water. It takes much more ability to create the water outside the body than to manipulate what is already available or expel it from their mouths (Need Water Creation Technique from Jutsu Enhancement Techniques). Water Release techniques can not only change shape but state as well. Moreover, the water becomes more solid in the process as well, and certain techniques can even allow the user to increase the water's density or viscosity, making it a suitable element to capture the targets. Offensive water techniques seem to inflict harm from the sudden force that they exert, which would cause massive internal damage to a human. Any Save Difficulty mentioned in a technique, whether Fortitude or Will is based off of 10 + 2 per Class Level + Impeccable Will. Some Ice Release techniques need pre-existing ice, snow, or water nearby in order to be used. Techniques that require a small source of water nearby is measured between 1.5 to 6 cubic meters. Medium is measured between 6 to 30 cubic meters. Large is measured between 30 cubic meters to 350 cubic meters. Huge is measured between 350 cubic meters to 1,500 cubic meters. Colossal is measured by anything more than 1,500 cubic meters.
Limit: Must learn for Water Release NinJutsu.

apologize for assuming you and your fire demon were enemies." She bowed deeply, her chakra uncontrollably reacting to the presence of the phoenix. She sought instantly to consume it, to weaken it, her senses swept over it searching for vulnerabilities. Her core pulled at the moisture in the air. The dew on the leaves congregated before her. Was this her own magic?  She extended her hands before her and watched the water try to edge nearer to her.  If she focused her mind, she could arrange its pattern and complexity, she reasoned. 

She felt something within her, perhaps her own mind-body coils unwinding from long term neglect.  She gathered the water from around them all with small gestures and sounds of laughter that fluctuated through a hundred tones.  Moon?  Monsters?  Anything seemed possible as the water followed her energetic outpouring.  It swirled into a mass of water that made her smile with delight to see it, as she stood from her bow and twirled. The water followed her movements. She would play in it, ears piqued for Harue's voice.

Tomo's vision expanded further. Although he didn't especially need to, he continued to strain his vision to the limits of their range. There weren't any other potential threats nearby, but he certainly preferred an enhanced sight to a standard or perhaps impaired perception. Being able to see into the distance in every direction certainly aided in attempting to ignore the blades in front of him.

Just then a thunderous strike impacted with the side of Tomo's face. It didn't especially hurt, but Yuri definitely succeeded in rousing him from his delirium. He stood abruptly, and inclined his head slightly towards his kage and elder relative. It didn't particularly matter if Tomo didn't care for formalities or etiquette. Others did.

"Of course... My apologies, Kusakage-sama. As always it's a delight to see you.

The snake-tongued response was drenched in sarcasm, adorned by a beaming grin and furtively squinted eyes. If it weren't for the throbbing red hand print on the side of his face, an individual unfamiliar with his customary disrespect could take offense. As he scanned his kage, he couldn't help but notice that she'd been getting stronger lately. When they first met their strength and chakra weren't far apart, but she'd definitely improved.

Description: A Mind-Affecting Technique. Affects 1 willing creature touched and those who interacts the creature. The user is able to perform this technique on the target they touch. The duration of this technique lasts for 5 minutes per Class Level. While in Wraithform creatures that interact with the subject feels they are attacking normally, however they are actually hitting much less than normal when it comes to TaiJutsu attacks. Being Wraithformed has several effects:
Depending on the Rank the user knows (and the rank they perform) depends on the Reduction in TaiJutsu Damage.

"D" Rank reduces Attack damage by 10 Armour Points.
"C" Rank reduces Attack damage by 20 Armour Points.
"B" Rank reduces Attack damage by 30 Armour Points.
"A" Rank reduces Attack damage by 40 Armour Points.
"S" Rank reduces Attack damage by 50 Armour Points.

Non-Chakra attacks suffer percentile chance of missing versus the Wraithformed creature depending on the user's knowledge of this technique.

"D" Rank gives a 10% chance of miss.
"C" Rank gives a 20% chance of miss.
"B" Rank gives a 30% chance of miss.
"A" Rank gives a 40% chance of miss.
"S" Rank gives a 50% chance of miss.

Takes a certain amount of damage on Chakra Techniques depending on the user's knowledge of this technique. Only Pure Chakra techniques affect normally.

"D" Rank reduces Chakra damage by 10 Armour Points.
"C" Rank reduces Chakra damage by 20 Armour Points.
"B" Rank reduces Chakra damage by 30 Armour Points.
"A" Rank reduces Chakra damage by 40 Armour Points.

There is only 20% chance that Wraithformed creatures leave behind footprints, their scent, or make a sound while moving no matter the rank the user knows.
The creature seems to be floating however they are not. If the creature has the natural ability to fly then the Wraithformed creature is able to fly.
Limit: Must know the Shadow Perception. Must have mastered Shadow Perception.

Surely Ogres and Fey were very obviously different, but that didn't mean an alien from outer space was going to know that. Harue simply only looks amused as the event before her continue to transpire, and she's only drawn back into it and away from her meticulous inner makeup when NFLM addresses Harue by name. After referring to herself in the third person, of course. Harue wondered if she worked like a system, and just how many fronts she had to cycle through. She'd peer through her Tasukeru to examine her more closely again, but that felt a little too intimate... Ignoring how easily NFLM was looking into the rest of them anyways. "Land of Monsters?" Harue parrots, tilting her head a bit. She doesn't have enough time to be dumbed, instead turning to look to Yuri as she offers a correlation.

But, alas, NFLM seems to only work under Harue's tongue. Speaking to her otherwise was apparently hit or miss, and Harue had to reiterate Yuri's conclusion. With her form still wavering, especially now that tension seemed rocky and on the edge of complete turmoil, Harue looks between the appointed Ogre and the alien which fell from the sky. As if asking permission, though for what Harue didn't know. Her core trembles, her form shifting upon its plane once again, searching endlessly for common ground between the metaphysical and reality. "Moon Country?" Harue felt like a recorder, having only repeated statements thrown at her thus far. She didn't know of any Monster City or Land of Monsters, but she vaguely recalled Godric mentioning something like it offhandedly. What had it been called? Something Hallows? Gallows?

"From here? Moon is South, but... pretty far out, and over the sea." In the moment, Harue wishes she'd brought her map with her. Though that might prove unhelpful for the alien, on second thought. Harue's brow furrows with consideration, her thumb tracing her bottom lip contemplatively. She could barely feel the contact, so she presses her lip against her bottom row of teeth to try and search for better contact. Something to remind herself she certainly was solid, at least on the outside. "I'm sure you could fly there, wouldn't need a boat or anything... maybe I can draw you a map..." she's murmuring, as if calculating how easily NFLM could get home. She wanted desperately to help this foreign thing find peace, but she knew that wasn't her responsibility.
