The kaguya prodigy had yet to make it inside, his search of the perimeter being completed with a thorough effort put forth, but in the wake of such aspiration, he would find nothing to note on the outskirts of the mansion. He had circled his way around the back, and looked around curiously— surely, his comrade Sabo should have met him where he stood, but the blonde haired genin was nowhere to be found. The boy shrugged it off - he probably had already made his way inside as per the chunin's orders.
Hazuki looked over the estate with a keen eye as he made his advance, focusing chakra to the balls of his feet to assist him in scaling the elegant structure. It was near effortless when he considered the fortitude of his body; using it to his advantage, he peered through every window that was possible to see through on his way up. Unfortunately, he lacked any traits that would aid him in seeing in the dark, but such a thing was unneeded anyway.
It would only be a moment before he graced the inside of the building with his countenance, and would be able to confront whatever was hiding head on.
He knew not where the rest of the squad was, but a rendezvous seemed inevitable. Hazuki slid into the building via access through the chimney.
Inoryu laughed softly at Satu's comment and found his sense of humor agreeable, "Now that we're inside, whatever force murdered that little girl may target or corner us. In that event, you are free to engage. Just...be careful," he cautioned. His eyes surveyed the furnishings of the home in every room and after a thorough search of the mansion, Inoryu hadn't found anything of particular interest to the investigation. He could hear his teammates entering through the chimney as he began to plant surveillance spikes to monitor the home as they slept. "Perhaps the cameras will pick up activity that is hidden from plain sight," Inoryu thought as he attached the surveillance spike to the ceiling of the second floor to monitor the corridor attached to the rooms. He would tell his teammates the same thing he had told Satu as he pressed the surveillance spike on and was confident his voice carried to them through the dim environment.
Inoryu would set up a second surveillance spike in the Northwest corner of the master bedroom to monitor the entire floor. He took a second to press the power switch besides the lens and checked the screen on the handheld surveillance monitor. The monitor, once switched on, immediately picked up the two feeds and displayed them on the main screen. From that point, he was able to choose which monitor to survey, or both in split screen. He chose split screen and observed both floors of the mansion simultaneously. Inoryu would make his way back down to the first floor and set up another surveillance spike in the common room where the entire floor could be monitored. Once he pressed it on, the handheld surveillance monitor picked up the feed and split the screen in three ways to display every feed.
For now, it seemed his work was done for the day, so he would choose the Northern most room on the second floor, which was larger than the others by a few feet. It was located across the hall from three other rooms, and besides another room that was just as large. From that point, he would begin setting up for a ritual on the wooden floor. He placed white wax, unscented candles on both sides of the room and placed five bo shuriken, one oversized, masterwork kunai, and two hira shuriken in the center of the space. He would enter into a trance and focus on the creation of eight permanent hiraishin seals. Once completed, his unique hiraishin seal meaning, 由, meaning freedom and reason, would appear through multicolored lights on each ninja tool as white, permanent ink. Afterwards, he would blow out the candles, and settle into bed. He would lie there patiently until he was overcome with sleep.

Satu walked up the stairs and passed the second story beyond the layout of rooms into the master bedroom. He would approach the chalk outline where the first victim was found. Arms crossed he would stare contemplatively toward the ground where the incident occurred."Such a waste of light." Satu would mutter to himself. In observance he felt the energy of the room change.
Suddenly the faintest of luminescence began to glimmer from a central point on the far south east corner of the ceiling. The light grew and cascaded, coalescing as it chased the darkness from the room. Satu was certain he was being visited by something otherworldly (Divine Lore 98).The Light became viscous as it gathered collectively overhead Satu before dropping into a puddle of ectoplasm at his feet. Only Satu would be able to see the manifestation (Trait:Spirit Sense) or perhaps any recording instrument equipped with ultra-sensitive display capture. The puddle began to take form as the ephemeral puddle climbed and reached until it formed a mirrored image of Satu.
"Who are you to determine the value of light in this dimension?" A feminine male voice uttered.
"A dhenadan servant to the divine law that governs all life in its absolution, that is who," Satu stepped back as the glow refracted deep into the reaches of his pupils making the figure see its own reflection of itself."
"You are handsome Utahhikari-san, you and your comrades are in danger you know.." The figure began pacing back and forth, arms at their back with an heir of amusement.
"And what would a murderous joke like yourself know about my comrades," Satu barked.
"Do you think they are capable to follow through on their task?" The spirit stopped pacing looking at the sticky spike dropped by Inoryu. "The yamanaka for instance so sincere and so confident toiling away with his newly acquired skill ignorant of the happenings here. The kaguyan descendant ambitiously isolating himself. Lacking the team spirit to ever truly work cooperatively. Then the young blonde haired boy, Such a bright disposition to hide such a tortured heart.. and that face spited by fire, only a mother could love." The spirit stepped coyly toward Satu,"And you Utahhikari-san, so quick to abandon those you so call cherish. How long has your master waited for you at Dessabo, and that boy, that mail carrier....Chulsoo," The entity smiled a haughty smile at Satu.
"I.. I.. didn't abandon them.. I plan to return," Satu let his arms fall to his side. A tear descended his cheek, "Chulsoo," Satu softly called.
"You must be so tired of lying to your heart's true desire Utahhikari-san, so very tired. You may rest here if you like,"
Satu looked up at the spirit as his eyes glazed over with green bio-luminescence. The spirit began to lead Satu to the french doors leading out to the balcony. The doors would open and Satu would walk to the balcony's edge. Satu would see the image of Chulsoo beckoning him from the balcony's edge. "I'm coming home." Satu whimpered as the night air caressed the tears falling down his face. The cameras would show only that Satu had been talking to himself with blotchy patterns skipping around the edge of the camera display.
Sabo entered a few seconds before Hazuki did and Sabo was pretty tired, but he wouldn't show it, the young blonde haired kid would sit on the floor and lean his back on the wall as he looked at the wall opposite to him, he would then sigh "I think the others should be asleep right now, I think we were even called in the chateau to rest" Sabo said to Hazuki.
Sabo touched the scar on his left eye and then removed his hand some seconds later as he began to look around the room hoping he could do some minor investigating before he slept off, but he couldn't find anything, so he turned his attention back to Hazuki.
Inoryu and Satu had been in a separate part of the mansion for most of the time Hazuki had spent inside, albeit the span was short— Sabo was the only one that he'd had an extended company with. He continued to look around the room he had entered via the chimney, searching for any and everything that could have been of any use to the investigation. His skill with that sort of thing was rather low, but his ability to observe was top notch.
He would use it well in the search for whatever was causing these murders...
"Sleep", he replied to his comrade Sabo. The Kaguya had no interest in sleep— he would much rather begin training than to take a nap. The night was still young, by his standards. The last of his sentence would seemingly echo throughout the room they were in. "You catch ya rest. I'll keep watch", he finished.
Night time in a haunted mansion? Hazuki would find the time to sleep later.
As Inoryu completed to hiraishin ritual, he would check the handheld surveillance monitor and notice something strange in the second feed. Satu was there, and so was an otherworldly presence, revealed as large blotchy patterns skipping around the edge of the display. Sensing that his pupil might be in danger, he returned the five bo shuriken to the front of the first slot, one hira shuriken underneath his clothing and grabbed the masterwork, oversized kunai before rushing upstairs. He could hear Satu speaking to the entity and becoming more emotional. He powered on a covert listening device and clipped it to his shirt when he finally entered the master bedroom.
"I'm coming home," Satu said, in a sort of trance at the edge of the balcony.
Inoryu found Satu and immediately fired his conscious through the art of valentine jutsu. Whatever Satu was planning on doing would be overwritten by Inoryu's possession. With Satu's spirit sense, Inoryu would be able to see and confront the entity himself. He turned around to find it and ask, "Did you murder the little girl in this mansion?" If the answer was 'Yes', Satu would vanish in a flash of gold to appear in Inoryu's temporary room where his hiraishin seal on the hira shuriken lie on the ground. Inoryu would return to his body and engage the entity with the mind pulse jutsu, making the sensation of pain in its head so excruciating that it would feel as though its head would explode. Satu, appearing in a different place away from the entity, should be enough to snap him out of the trance. If the answer was 'No' Inoryu would ask, "Then who did?"

The eyes of Chulsoo faded to a burning teal tone and his smile turned abruptly into a poker face, "That is quite the jutsu friend,"The surroundings changed suddenly to the depths of the temple and after looking around Satu turned back to see Inoryu standing there, "That is quite the jutsu friend," Satu would follow the yamanaka to the outside of the temple. Inoryu would fade gradually and Satu would feel a sensation of warmth and safety. The body of Satu would collapse onto the hard ground of the balcony's terrace. He would remain there until resuscitated from his subconscious in a state induced by Inoryu.
The specter would stare at Inoryu with a fond intensity, "What can be murdered of its own volition...Yamanaka, Inoryu?" The spectre changed form.
"She is so concerned about you Ryu," The form he took would be that of the yamanaka's mother, Shirizu.
"Her talents as a psychologist brought you from the far reaches of that horrible accident. Genjutsu in the hands of a child never sat well with her but she recognized you as a prodigy. I mean to say she did, was it truly him that she brought back? Maybe her talents compromised facets of the authentic self that was once her little Ryu. He became so silent after her best attempts to recover his mind from would be permanent damage. The guilt must be overwhelming." The specter took steps toward Inoryu.
"You want to know if I killed this girl? The answer is yes, because WE are this girl." The eyes and tongue from the mimick of Shirizu Yamanaka disappeared and form the apparition took was the first victim.
"You who see nothing, you who speak nothing. I told Utahhikari-san you were all in danger here, I was not bluffing. You see even now we have arrived for your friends."
The light entering a window on the first level would shift as a gloved hand pressed its fingers against the glass motioning in a circle to create an opening to unlatch the window and open it silently. Once the window opened four figures in cloaks of red velvet would enter the chateau. There eyes all glowed with bio luminescence. Quickly they rushed to the place where Hazuki watched over Sabo fast asleep.

Where are the others? he thought to himself trying to remember which way they went, until he came to the conclusion that they were somewhere else in the area and they would be okay, Sabo looked at Hazuki and nodded when he said that the young blonde haired kid should catch some sleep, Sabo sat in a better position then before so he could rest a bit.
Sabo's eyes were closed, but he didn't even feel like sleeping that much he was a bit more worried about where Satu and Inoryu was, he kept his eyes closed and continued thinking, Satu jumped over something, I think it was the chimney and Inoryu used his jutsu to go wondering around, Sabo thought to himself before actually falling asleep.
It didn't take long for his fellow blonde-haired genin to fall into the dreamworld— it was late, and if Hazuki wasn't on such a strange assignment, he perhaps would face taken the time to test as well. Instead, he would steel his mind and focus on his breathing. The key to being a close ranger fighter was to make the maximize the benefits gained from breathing correctly; Hazuki's combat style, fast and up close, kept the Kaguya under constant stamina drain .. He made sure he would be able to handle it.
I'm the meantime, the situation with Satu and Inoryu had drastically changed. There was no way for the two genin to understand, as Sabo had fallen asleep and the two were separated. It mattered not, for Hazuki was more than confident in his ability. He wondered about if the damage he would be able to do to a ghost or an apparition and then laughed off the notion. Such things did not exist, and even if they did, nothing could stand up-to the might of his Shikotsumyaku.
He was rarely off guard— the first whiff of an assailant and Hazuki would move on the offensive. Inoryu-sensei had said to not engage, but why would you expect from a genin Was The skeletal strength of steel?
Inoryu stared at the apparition with contempt through the eyes of Satu's spirit sense. The ghost was able to discern the conscious of the Yamanaka that possessed Satu's body and spoke directly to him. It was off-putting to say the least, the decades he spent training his ninjutsu not once has anyone ever discerned when it was active, but for his father who taught it to him. He could have easily been baffled, but remained steadfast in the investigation, picking up valuable information from the ghost's discourse and disregarding what was said about his mother in her appearance. The ghost took on the appearance of the first victim postmortem, with missing eyes and tongue. Inoryu gripped Warsoul and slid it a few inches from its sheathe to facilitate a quicker draw. He wasn't quick to lash out, but instead he would use Satu's spirit sense to maintain contact with the ghost.
Inoryu considered what the ghost meant by "Murdered of their own volition." It sounds as though she was making the recent deaths out to be suicides, but the postmortem mutilation meant that they weren't alone. Inoryu had plans on how to proceed with the investigation, but he needed to interrogate the ghost now, "If you influence a person to commit suicide, then you are not blameless for their death. I know what you do, you're not the only one who can see into people's lives. When I use my clan ninjutsu to see the victim's last moments, I will see you, won't I? You exploit a person's history and influence them to suicide. I heard Satu while I was coming up, and now you've tried it with me. Do you enjoy the emotional distress of your victims or just the taking of life?" Inoryu asked.

The four assailants moved stealthily through the chateau. The collection of dust and debris on the floor cleared, the slight wind from their swift ascent to the corridor lead to the second story rooms where the sleeping Sabo was being guarded by Hazuki. The doorknob would click and screech as it slowly turned to open. The men would stay their position and let the door swing open on its hinges. The unsuspecting genin would see one of the assailants enter as his claws grazed the doorway of the threshold.
His luminescent eyes would meet with Hazuki, "Sleeping is the best way to meet his end wouldn't you agree, best you didn't resist us and wake him from such a sweet dream. You as well, you may rest here too, if you like." The assailant would rush Hazuki and swipe at him with his claw in hopes to preoccupy him while the other three approached the sleeping Sabo. Each brandishing their claws with intention to harm the young genins.
The conversation in the master bedroom continued between Inoryu (who possessed the medical nin Satu) and the apparition itself.
"Leading them to suicide you say? I see a liberation of chains they have placed on themselves through a series of fabricated convictions Yamanaka, Inoryu. You also chain yourself with these mortal convictions. Perhaps I was right, perhaps that human side of yourself was written off in those attempts to restore your mind. Give my regards to your mother, she is quite the mindsmith," the spirit began to ascend and the light coagulating to give it shape would begin to remiss. The apparition would continue, "You meant to shred my mind apart did you not? I will give you the satisfaction of knowing it was successful, but we are many minds here with the voices of many waters." The ghost drew respite from the manifestation it held and conceded by saying, "Adeau, little Ryu."
The sun of Kaze no Kuni beat down from the morning as Satu splashed and bathed in a large tub of water from the Oasis. His emerald eyes lit from the refracting light of the water. Humming an old song to himself he began to exfoliate his skin. He would rinse, exit the tub, and as he stood with his clothes in hand as the sun beat down on him, he would gaze off into the distant mirages of the hot morning desert. He would observe the fragments in those mirages, such as a sleeping boy and a fierce boy of equal age surrounded by red cloths. Was there somewhere he supposed to be? Satu would pull and bind his attire and speak a name he wasn't sure he knew, "Hazuki," he spoke softly.
Another observance of a mirage was a shinobi he seemed to admire a great deal. He saw this shinobi and felt a string in his heart pull, "These people need me," he look to the sand at his feet, "Who are they?" Satu would remember himself by the saying of his village, "Not all is sincere that appears before us. The desert is full of mirages."
Sabo would wake up on perfect timing it looked like Hazuki was getting attacked by a man with dangerous claws, this would be a perfect time to see his teammate fight, but he had three just in front of him, so he would have no time to watch Hazuki, the young blonde haired kid would roll to the right of the room quickly dodging a claw which made a little mark on the wall.
"I don't know why were being attacked, but i'm for sure fighting back" Sabo said to Hazuki as he would check his pouch immediately and just remember he brought nothing the blonde haired boy screamed inside his head before calming down and trying to think of a different approach, as he thoughts went on he was immediately attacked once again so he would leap over the couch to dodge the claw.
Almost like a second-sense, something told Hazuki that something was up— it was either that, or the awkward silence of the chateau that made him uneasy. In fact, he wondered just how his blonde haired comrade could even sleep.
His unwillingness to sleep proved fruitful, for as he found his mind wandering the door suddenly swung open, almost with enough force to knock it off the hinges— it had startled him, but the Kaguya was not surprised. Hazuki simply steadied himself as the first of the assailants came through, brushing the iron claw against the door as he pressed forward. The man before him began to babble on about Sabo and him sleeping and about resting, but in all honesty, Hazuki was paying him no attention.
Instead, he was already focusing the power of his kekkei genkai. His opponents would be clueless as the calcium within his body bubbled amongst itself. The first assailant, the one who attacked Hazuki would find his basic claw attack striking nothing but air. A body flicker had brought the Kaguya over to his comrade, who had woken up and initiated his own combat maneuvers, and another would carry him 10 meters from all attackers.
Sabo would be fine, he was sure, and he watched the attackers continue onward so aggressively. He'd wait for the opportune moment, for his attacker to come in range or for Sabo's to make a mistake, and then he would release 8 Hessendan finger bullets from his hands toward the four mysterious men(2 each).
The bone shrapnel would rip through whatever they came into contact with. They were small, as well as unpredictable.. The Kaguya was curious to see how they would react.
The ghost conjured another emotion than she intended, one of suppressed fury towards her usage of the nickname that only his family used, 'Ryu.' Perhaps her influence was stronger than he initially thought, but she was gone now, and a few deep collective breaths would allow him to ground himself. He dismissed the art of the valentine jutsu and he awoke conscious in his own body near the entrance of the room. The ghost had conceded many details pertinent to the investigation and he had possibly collected records of the encounter through the surveillance spike and possibly a confession through the covert listening device. Having dismissed his clan's ninjutsu, Satu's conscious should be awakening in his own body as well. Inoryu rushed over to his beloved pupil and put his hand on his shoulder, "Satu, are you okay?" he asked sincerely, as he searched Satu's soul through the emerald and juniper of Satu's eyes, which offered insight to his mental state. Inoryu searched for recognition first and foremost, for eye contact that inclined that Satu recognized Inoryu was standing before him, then emotional stability.

The first swipe from the red cloaked individual swung through the air as Hazuki swept instantaneously away from danger using shunshin. The other three saw that Sabo also maneuvered to a safe distance. The room they stood in was large indeed being in such an elaborate building. There eyes still glowing with bio luminescence left trails of light as they fixed their sight on the two young genin. "It is far too late for young men like yourselves to be awake," One of them said menacingly. The instigation of the red cloaked figure led to another swipe at Hazuki and another of them turned his attention from Sabo to the kaguyan as well. "Leave this one to us," one of them said concerning Sabo. The two red cloaked men would simultaneously lunge forward at Sabo. It seemed that Hazuki was preparing for an attack. If he was then one of the men attacking him would throw up his cloak to absorb the damage, while the other would still slash at him.
Taking up his arms Satu would begin walking toward the mirage of the shinobi who made his heart pull on itself. Who was this person? Satu pondered. He felt an urgency to reach the image he saw and began to walk toward it. He would begin running and the image would begin to close proximity. It seemed he could not close the distance but felt the urgency to continue trying. All he knew was he had to get to them. Satu would summon a saeor and jump onto it beginning to sail across the desert landscape farther and farther from the oasis. He began to hear a voice from the mirage, "You...Okay? Satu" Satu would press forward and increase speed. He now knew this was not a deception of the desert and it was someone very dear to him.
Still no matter how fast he advanced he could not reach the figure calling out to him. Satu would begin to tear and yell, "I'm Here! I'm okay!" He would see the night and day begin to turn unnaturally, one into the other. This would startle him and he would jump off the halo and stand in tears of anxiety. He would suddenly remember, "Inoryu!" Inoryu would be in front of him with his hand on his shoulder as Satu shouted his name. He would stare into the yamanaka's eyes and for a brief moment be overwhelmed with relief. Satu would relay to Inoryu, "Yes I am okay, what happened? Where is Hazuki and Sabo?" The two heard bang and clatter coming from the second floor.
Sabo successfully dodged the claw attack and it looked like Hazuki was good too, the couch looked pretty bad and then it he watched as the two red cloaked assailants would run towards him with there claws, Sabo performed the body flicker technique around both of them and gave one of them a kick to the back just to sent him flying over the couch, Sabo left that one for Hazuki.
As the other red cloaked assailant wold turn around, Sabo had already finished his handseal compilation, the blonde haired kid used his strength and grabbed him by his neck with his left hand and raised him up a bit, he wouldn't be able to keep him up for too long, so he had to finish this quick "This is my mothers will" Sabo said as his right hand would blaze as it was engulfed in fire, Sabo would then attempt to punch the assailant on the face.
The bone shrapnel he had flung toward his cloaked enemy had been effortlessly avoided it seemed, yet his attacker would feel a sharp pain as he continued his momentum forward- only by examining his cloak would he come to understand that the shrapnel were not deflected, and that instead they had penetrated through the thin fabric and had hit their mark. Whether he was a true man or an illusion, Hazuki watched onward as the two men rushed toward him.
The one free from the penetrative prowess of his kekkei genkai had rushed ahead of the other, swinging his metallic claw in a wide arc aiming to detach head from body.
Hazuki could only smile as his enemies grew closer.
A single arm, his left, would be the only defense he needed as he used it to block the claw strike. The immense density of his bones would ensure that his arm remained intact in the face of the cutting edge.
He had a distinct disadvantage when fighting at a distance— Now that his attackers were close, the fun could begin.
Inoryu was relieved when Satu returned to his senses and replied, "I'll fill you in later, right now it sounds like Hazuki and Sabo are in trouble. We must provide support." Rather than heading through the entrance and down the stairs to the genin's location, Inoryu and Satu would vanish in a flash of gold and instantly find themselves in the room adjacent to them. Inoryu exited his room and entered the room of commotion. There he found four figures with red cloaks and glowing eyes combating with his genin. He took advantage of his sudden appearance with a surprise attack, brandishing his oversized, masterwork kunai, and stepping forward to deliver a powerful thrust through one of the assailant's chest. "Make sure to leave at least one of them alive," the Chunin ordered. He moved to the side to allow Satu to enter as well.
