The neko watched, thoroughly unconvinced as Harue she was fine while slamming back the drinks. The sight alone making Krystal place her glass on the bar rather than drink it. Although the fizzy... mango? drink that slid by caught her attention and she silently asked for one as well. "Mhm, well it doesn't take getting hammered to have fun, isn't this also some kind of playground... or something?"

In truth Krystal didn't know anything about this place so she wasn't sure if drinking was really all that there was or not. However her gaze was drawn by a familiar shift of silver and as she saw Houkou approach she smiled brightly. "Oh hey, how've you bee-"

Krystal began but by the end of Houkou's threa... warning, she pouted annoyed with her cheeks puffed out, a little indignant. If he sensed her motive, he would surely find that she had no ill-will, personally she felt like it wasn't any fun to involve alcohol with intimacy. Her pride also had a stake in that argument preferring to let her own actions woo her lovers.

"I wasn't gonna do anything..." Krystal grumbled as the Uchiha slipped away leaving the neko to huff and turn towards the bar in time to see the bartender motion over to the girl who had sent the drink. While Harue was having trouble counting fingers Krystal however saw the woman quite clearly. Her ears perked up curious and seeing as Harue was content to sip drinks Krystal decided to make a new friend while speaking aloud to Houkou who no doubt would hear her given his role int he party. "fine, you look after our favorite drunk then."

Afterward Krystal would get up moving over to the new face with a smile politely bowing as Loki had taught her long ago, although she used it less as manners and more as flair. "Hi, do we have a mutual friend? or just think she's cute?"

Krystal inquired playfully as the bartender set down the copy of the drink the woman had given Harue before sipping it. She was pretty for sure although the piercing kept drawing Krystal's gaze accidentally. "Either way nice to meet you, I'm Krystal~"

Laena stride into the building like an Empress.
The procession felt natural to her, like putting on a favourite old suit she'd forgotten in the corner of her closet. Comfortable.

She was dressed impeccably, a red and gold outfit of an itemized hanfu dress which embraced her figure like a silk glove, streaming around her like a whisper in a breeze. Natural. Incredible. She was rememberable. Her facial highlights were solidified and cold yet the shading theme she went with were of warm hues. Her skin was the shade of unsullied snow, no ruddy cheeks, essentially unadulterated. Also, her eyes resembled diamonds, amazing and sharp. She looked savage, she looked predominant. Her lips were velvet wine, a red so pigmented that it looked like blood recoloured on snow from afar.

The lavish blue carpet underneath her feet quieted her means and she strolled down, looking neither left nor right however had already observed everything. Her immersion at the presence of embalmed hands would have to be examined later as she was on a mission. Her movements were assertive, and she didn’t care if people were in her way, they were either forced to move otherwise there will be an issue. She emitted the vitality which made individuals mindful of her. No pith of chakra, it was all just certainty and that of what age would bring from living for a really long time. Her vitality shouted danger and in the event that one needed to tango with her, there would be blood in light of the fact that what she grasped within her left hand, held the katana she is scarcely observed without. The sheath situated behind her, her correct hand right was left exposed just on the off chance that the handle would have the need to be held.

The bar was within reach, and with one flag she requested the most costly wine she knew about at the highest point of her rushed thoughts. "Domaine Leroy Richebourg Grand Cru 1949. Glass. Fill to the brim." And she would then investigation everything he might do, making no space for him to spice her beverage. In spite of her request, wished for a clear mind. There were things she had needed to do, and certain people to kill.

"What?" repeated the female. The male could not help but to notice how her breath smelled. It was like smelling an empty bottle of alcopops.
Minoru felt a shiver run down his spine. Was he being spied on?

A taller male entered the scene. His demeanor made the younger man feel unwell. The Chuunin knew he was not one to talk about abnormal eyes. But this guy had crimson eyes that were nothing short of terrifying. The male decided to take a sip of his alcohol free drink to calm his nerves.

"I believe you have had enough, Harue. At least for now. There’s still plenty of night left to drink." told the ivory-haired man.
His eyes turned towards the statuesque woman. "As for you, I would not get any...ideas..." warned the man.

"I wasn't gonna do anything..." replied the female. The black-haired guy noticed a rather peculiar female approach the scene. Half of her hair was white while the other half was pitch black. Her eyes followed the same colour scheme. 'Looks like the pinkette here is quite popular' observed the guy with a smile.

"Domaine Leroy Richebourg Grand Cru 1949. Glass. Fill to the brim" ordered a voice nearby.
He raised his eyebrows in surprise. The last time he saw that kind of wine was during the kanreki* of a very wealthy Hyuuga.

"Oh, I'm sorry! I did not mean to get in the way" apologized Minoru. He noticed that the young woman was a whole foot shorter than him.
Her dress however made his eyes widen. It was no secret that the male appreciated colours or clothes that fit its user.

Hence why he could not help but to take a second glance at her. "May I ask what kind of dress you are wearing? I don't think I have seen something like this before" inquired the Chuunin.
His pale purple eyes were now looking at the ebony-haired woman. She seemed...intriguing.

[Claws of the Tundra]

By the passing glance Kahimi noticed the Tsuchikage easily within the mix of bodies beginning to crowd the bar. A friendly smile easily curled upon her plush lips as she was pulled away from her thoughts in order to give a wave back with genuine happiness. In fact with this in mind, Kahimi could settle in to the whole establishment better, and she was going to get acquainted. However it seems multiple different people ended up mixing things around.

From her distance and the overall mesh of noise around her, she wouldn't catch a single word anybody said. Her miscolored eyes simply watching in great confusion as different people seemed to conjoin in the same spot more or less. The Yukikage was left baffled by this unexpected turn of circumstance, as she was left unsure how to approach the bar now. So much attention was being directed upon one extravagantly bright hsirrd woman whom looked heavily intoxicated.

The body language could tell that much. And so Kahimi simply kept to herself in favor of easing into the general crowd better. Taking an available seat with a subtle grace, making sure her kimono wouldn't end up bothered by any thing. From here she could simply tune in while keeping a secluded distance from most of the random attendants whom seemed to be already engaging in conversation of different types.

Hearing how childishly the Tsuchikage responds to whatever the guardian had said to her, and given the nature of her chosen words, Harue promptly understands. Krystal's quickness to scampering off to another woman, a woman who had shown interest in Harue, who had gotten a drink for Harue, with the same drink that was meant for Harue, spoke volumes about Krystal's intentions, initial and prolonged, however ill and poorly executed they were. If Harue weren't so buzzed, she'd take offense. It was contradictory and incredibly transparent of Krystal to storm off to another attractive woman directly after her first attempt with one had been marginally derailed. Yet Harue was only glad to have less noise in her ear, especially if it was coming from a place of only misplaced affection. 

Although Harue wasn't shut out to the happenings around her, she chose to maintain focus on only herself. So far she only knew one of these people here, had one aggressively gruff guardian angel over her shoulder, and offhandedly met a woman who'd sent her a drink but was instead approached by the recipient of that drink's bystander. The night could only get more interesting from here, right?

Honestly, she hoped not.

The Kamyuja found herself looking up into a young man’s gaze, and with that the blaze of a beautiful lavender. Hyuga. A power like nothing else. She ensured her features did not betray her own thoughts for she begrudged the Hyuga, dependably had. An ability, not much as a result of their eye ability, yet more so their battling style being so bizarre. So exquisite. It reminded her of a dance. And their movements accurate and in a class of its own. Her eyes roamed over his features. Since waking up into this era she had only met one other male, that being an Uchiha. That lad was handsome, and so was this one. But they were so unlike. The Uchiha had long hair and intimidating eyes of red, however, this male gaze didn’t prompt her any emotion other than warmth and open curiosity.

She didn't answer to him at first. She was excessively occupied with her very own appraisal of his appearance. But after a moment she would smile. It would slip upon her face like a smirk cutting across glass, and it would appear rather aloof. Calculating. She saw his response to her clothing and a glow sprouted profound inside of her. Happy. She wanted to leave a decent impression at this social affair, thus far, it appeared she had. However, when he made his inquiry, a long-overlooked memory raised its head and painted its shades over her psyche as the memory played.

The first time I was with a man I was only twelve years old. But of course, this was normal for any woman who has flowered for the first time. The next step would be for that female to become pregnant so that the family line shall continue. Flower was a polite way of meaning Menstruation or period, however in this time and place it was simply known as flower or flowering, or the first stage into womanhood. Of cause, the pressure went from a child being a nuisance to a young lady only being used any way possible to bare the right kind of child. A son. If a female was the firstborn, then the mother would be punished by a bamboo pole. Fifty strikes before the adult activities continued again, wounds and all. I was fearful. So much was required of me. A pureblood Kamyuja in a rich family. Adopted however I was, I was still required for the best results. I was given the most exquisite dress, my most expensive hanfu and I was painted with the arrowlike keenness to the point that with my age being so young, I appeared more doll-like than real flesh and blood. My hanfu was that of white silk, wide sleeves. A symbol of my purity. I was to wear this while my adult ceremony, and to show the red stain as proof of me losing my innocence. I was fearful. So afraid. And it did not help that the man I was paired with was old enough to be my grandfather.

The female snapped out of her memory, hard enough to cause her pain. However, she did not allow even a whimper of sound cry out of her painted lips, instead, her smile widened, and she answered with a delicate voice. "Why this old thing. It is not all that much. Only something out of time." She understood that she didn't respond to his inquiry specifically. To state it was a hanfu would just raise more questions, questions which would be difficult to reply to. But just as her glass of wine afterwards to her she would turn her attention onto the Hyuga and rise her glass up in a toast. “My name is Laena,” and afterwards she would grin pompously. "Enchanted to have met you, Hyuga."

She conveyed her beverage up to her lips, not once removing her eyes from him.

Shango would smile without saying anything, nodding at the girl, and staring at the Kedoin who spoke before her. She would attempt to speak through the Allhive, the Kedoin group consciousness that made them one, even as individuals, but all she heard back in reply was the static of messages that were not received. She was almost certain the dark skinned woman was a Kedoin, but it was like she had some shielding in place to prevent her true nature being discovered, stifling her presence somehow.  Shango did not think humans were cute.  Being stuck in one form sounded like torture or deformity to her, and was considerably unappealing.

"Either way nice to meet you, I'm Krystal."

Shango would bow her head a bit stiffly in acknowledgement and order another drink for herself, as well as another of her sobering concoctions for Harue-chan. "I am M-6, the pleasure is mine, Krystal. I don't know your friend but she seemed to need an opportunity to calm herself. You certainly seem to know alot of people here. Are you some sort of politician?" She asked, gesturing half-heartedly at those who'd approached.   Her voice was like a thing from a fairy tale, or a nightmare, as if thousands of voices all tried to speak each word at the same time.  The bar was filling up quickly, and as the bartender handed her a heavy broth of vodka, ginger, lemonade, raspberry juice, kiwi syrup, and sweet tea with a splash of soda - a drink called a "25th Night" - she would drain the cup almost instantly, enjoying the tingling sensation as the liquid slid. She half-waved at Harue with a look of staggered contemplation, right eyebrow raised high and quizzical, as if to say, 'you okay?', though she didn't want to be patronizing by speaking the words aloud. She would look back at Krystal as she answered, taking in the girl's outfit. She would ask her "Other than get drunk, you wouldn't happen to know what we're all supposed to be doing here, would you? I've never been to a place like this..." as she called to the bar to inquire about some sort of food.

At the Platinum Tables

Bobbing for Apples Competition: A large table was moved at one of the walls with a Blue Crystal Ball. A Sign next to the Blue Crystal Ball in common said "Touch to Enter the Bobbing For Apples Competition". The Crystal Ball would transport people into a different area if they touched the crystal ball.

A young man with a simple black goatie, bald head wearing a simple 3 piece suit came to the table with a microphone at hand. As he would speak into it the whole place of business could hear through the speakers located throughout the building.

"Greetings ladies and gentlemen allow The Badger to welcome you and to allow you to earn some riches with a few quaint competitions!" he said speaking into the microphone. "Our first competition is a simple one. It's called Bobbing for Apples!" he continued enthusiastically. "By Touching the the Blue Crystal Ball you will be transported into another room. There you must bob for a golden apple located at the bottom of a pool. If you come back up with said apple you will receive 5 Emerald Obolus. 1 Emerald Obolus is worth a favor with Bingo, or 140,000 Ryo." he continued before stopping to allow people to sink in what they can get. "Remember, it's 1 apple per person and that is if you can get to it, and remember you will be viewed by everyone inside this building through the monitors." he concluded before pointing to the monitors.

The instant the voice began its announcement, Shango looked up. She could see the direction it was coming from, the 'platinum tables' not too far from her current position, and she made her way their deftly, ignoring her companion for the moment. Why would they announce something like this, one of these games, to everyone here? She looked back at Harue-chan. She'll come. She grinned and neared a man sat at a table with an actual crystal ball. Bobbing for Apples? Would she be allowed to kill anyone? Probably not. She sighed and would touch the crystal ball as soon as she was physically capable , or when a pause in the man's speech allowed her to. Don't care if its a trap, she thought. I'm the hero of this story.

Recognizable even at a glance, Harue does a double take when she catches the look this woman gives her from across the crowd. For a moment Harue thinks she needs to be saved from Krystal, but on a second consideration Harue thinks she might be concerned for her. Sheepishly, she raises the now half-empty glass of deliciously generous liquid and offers a side shrug. Her attention is immediately grabbed, however, by a sudden booming voice from everywhere that promises money and BINGO favors.

Honestly, she just wanted to get out of this stuffy bar. She gets up and totters over to the orb closely behind the woman she'd halfway encountered and touches it without hesitating. She was too trusting when she wasn't sober, apparently.

[Inoryu]

    Through the television screens found throughout The Badger's various rooms, Inoryu could peer into the separate room dedicated for the game. He saw the pool, the sign marking it at 100 meters and thought, "So it's game night, huh?" Inoryu turned to Satu and Itada then commented, "So I guess that makes this place a dive bar." He would watch their reactions to his joke before saying, "Please excuse me. I should be able to get an apple." He made his way to the room with the proctor and touched the crystal ball.

    Satu arched a half-smile at Inoryu's pun. He was coming to find a side of Inoryu that was playful and even endearing. Satu would look at the monitor's and finish his drink quickly before placing his hand on Itada's shoulder, ^{"Last one in they say, ey Itada"} Satu would run up to the crystal ball and touch it.

"Why this old thing. It is not all that much. Only something out of time." replied the female.
The smirk on her face made the male feel uneasy. Fortunately, it did not show very well on his face.

'Looks like there is more to her than my eyes can see. Question is...will it be something unpleasant?' thought Minoru.
She rose her glass up in a toast. "My name is Laena. Enchanted to have met you, Hyuga." told Laena.

"Pleased to meet you. My name is Minoru" replied the young man.

'This can be interesting. I better check it out' decided the Chuunin. He drank the rest of the drink.
"Excuse me Laena-san. I think I'll go to check out the contest" told the male.

He weaved through the crowd with relative ease. Next, the black-haired guy touched the crystal ball. This would get quite interesting.
In fact, the guy would probably use a plethora of his abilities. But would it be enough to win?

Isamu stood at the side of a room looking over the crowd. Unable to properly consume food or alcohol and with little money or inclination to gamble Isamu felt predictably out of place here. It was a feeling the Sadojin was used to and he made use of the time by observing the humans looking for characteristics and quirks that he could use when he needed to blend in.

From across the room spotted staff setting up a table with a crystal ball. In short order a man invited patrons to participate in a contest. It soon became clear that water was involved. Initially the Sadojin wrote off the contest but his curiosity was piqued. It wasn't impossible to participate. Just a hassle. But on the bright side it would get him off this wall and into the action. Isamu made his way though the crowd and touched the crystal ball, whisking him away.

A young lady walked up to the announcer and handed him a piece of paper. The Announcer read it for a minute and gave a nod "Understood" he said to the young lady.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, at the Badger we'd like to extend our contest!" he said through the microphone. "This is a hunting competition!" he continued. "There are 3 animals we are allowing you to hunt for. If you come back with 1 dead common badger you will receive 1 Emerald Obolus. If you come back with 1 dead Dire badger you will receive 3 Emerald Obolus. If you come back with 1 dead dead dread badger you will receive 6 Emerald Obolus." he finished before his eyes widened some. "Oh and you must bring one per person to receive the reward."

A party? How could I, Kurama, resist? Free food and drinks!

Though...how DID they know to invite me? Or where to find me to deliver the news? Weird, very weird. But whatever, no big deal right?

Oh you stop being such a worry wort. I don't know why you follow me around if all you do is complain. I should call you complaining complainerpants. Its a party!

I didn't bother disguising my ears or tail. I was invited as Kurama, not as Mikuzune, so someone must have known me.

Before Krystal could respond to the new woman with the unique name she disappeared to go swim with the others, Krystal wasn't really into it so she stayed behind at the bar rather bland about the proceedings.

Not long after another announcement came up to hunt some badgers which made Krystal roll her eyes. She wasn't into hunting down defenseless creatures, she didn't have the aptitude for it either.

A faint grumble sat in her throat however her ears perked up when she heard a familiar 'mikkon' sound. Krystal turned to glance around seeing her new fox friend and smiled gliding around behind her before hugging around her shoulders.

"Hey Ammy~ Fancy seeing you here." Krystal purred playfully holding her drink nimbly to keep it from spilling and releasing the hug to sit beside the fluffy eared woman.

The cool liquid slid down her throat and warmed up her insides in a matter of seconds making her tingly all over as the alcohol worked its magic. The drink was a strong one, however, due to her tolerance, it did not get her drunk at the speed of ‘snapped fingers’. She looked onward as people came and went to perform games, games which didn’t seem appealing to her. She found her eyes rolling with sass as the Hyuga left. Her eyes rolled with annoyance when she heard the next game being voice a while later. Hunting. Normally she would be all out for it. If it were human’s that is. Since it was animals, once again it didn’t appeal to her. By then she had finished her drink and left the empty glass on the counter.

She slipped off into the throng of people who remained behind and resumed her own type of ‘hunting’ after all her target hadn’t caught her attention yet. She kept on wondering … ‘where is he? Has he arrived? Did he stand her up?’ She ended up by the encased preserved hands. She inclined forward and peered at them, a little smile upon her face as she envisioned them being wrapped with such extraordinary consideration. Age had obscured the material and had adjusted the shading of each hand. It was fascinating. She thought about whether she was to touch one if it would feel delicate or hard, and on the off chance that if it would break or stay safe in their wrapping. She additionally thought about whether once air got to every example if the hands would begin to break down at a cellular rate. It was all exceptionally intriguing to her.

She heard an uproarious recognizable laugh behind her, and she straightened with a start. She turned and looked at the appearances around her. Nobody emerged that she knew of. What's more, her objective hadn't appeared yet. Her temper was rising. She could feel it, an ascending of the head, a dim stain. Dangerous. She shoved it down, even though it battled for predominance. At last, she won her internal strife and her own head lifted with pompous certainty before she left the embalmed turns looking for new prey.

I fidgeted in my seat uncomfortably as my head sank between huge pillows of flesh. Again with "Ammy", where does that even follow from Kurama? Or Mikuzune? Well whatever. Cats will be cats.

"We keep meeting in the strangest places, don't we?"
