Grey Skull Keep

Between the Crypts and the hamlet of Willowmoor sits a small but imposing structure. Slowly wandering down from Willowmoor you haven't really been noticed the change of environment until now, but the ground was getting more sunken and marshy the further you moved forward. Standing above the forest of dark willow trees sat a ruined and collapsed castle keep. It's vantage point on the top of a dark slate stone mesa that stuck out like a jagged table against the forest. The keep seemed to have been quarried from that same dark grey stone. The keep didn't seem Too big or particularly well defended by its walls alone. While the walls themselves stood a good 6 meters high, the visual effect they had on the cliff side made the walls seem insurmountable. From the base of the mesa looking up, it was a good 35 meters to the top of the wall. A collapsed castle turret once overlooked this road.

The walls themselves had staggered stone parapets that would prevent grappling hooks or ladders from easily finding purchase over the wall. Strange Skeletal guardians could be seen patrolling the keep. Green glowing fires could be seen in their eye sockets...
