Description: A pale, fleshy fungus with a tough, rubbery consistency that is commonly found growing near carnivorous plants. The fungus grows upon corpses, absorbing the cadaver's life memories and personality; up to 10 different minds have been found absorbed by 1 cephalophage mushroom. Eating cephalophage will transfer those memories and personality quirks to the eater. (Effects last 1d3 hours and while they last the eater can access all of the dead person's mind. After the effects wear off, the eater may still succumb on occasion to "flashbacks" or personality instability; save vs Poison when under intense stress or in a situation liable to cause such flashbacks.) This plant is condemned by some religions as unholy, believed to prevent a soul/spirit from attaining the afterlife.

Crouched outside the gate of a mass grave Andromeda lit her cigarette and climbed the gate, bounding the metal frame and stepping onto fresh soil. The first thing her eyes went to? The Gravestones. There were several but they were inscribed with many names, massively overgrown and crawling with plant life. Using gloved hands and her safety equipment she started in on prying away vines and branches.

It proved t be one massive circles running the kage around and around in place without much room for her to get into the depths of the overgrowth that had surrounded a mass that had grown on top of the grave. It felt real but her fingers searched it's root for any true source. Stems and roots were her first inquiry, fingers scrabbling at the dirt to try and pull away the soil and identify this weird growth.

It shuddered visibly and she startled ,falling backwards onto the ground and rolling to her feet! It certainly LOOKED alive! The mottled flesh and the massive blooming head that resembled something of fungus wrapped in foliage. Fingers together she resumed digging, circling, digging, pushing aside plants as she did so and only finding that she wasn't anywhere near as close to the stem as she would have liked. The base of the grave was crawling with plants that turned to acknowledge her presence.

Recalling thorned vines that snag and ensnare wool covered animals and then wait for them to expire. These count as man eating and carnivorous plants. This was something different though. Bell sprout heads and winding vines crept the ground. It seemed to follow the vibration of her steps, her digging fingers, petal strewn bulbs opened to release sweet fumes she could only imagine were to attract smaller prey because there was no way she was going to fit in such a small thing. The fungus at the center of it all rippled though. Violently.

"Well I'll be.." The way it responded to her presence was a bit unnerving and uncanny, disturbing in it's own right. The more she tended to it the more the plants around it seemed to follow her with their 'Line of sight' mostly the pivot of the main bulbs to get better looks at her overall. Disturbing in it's own right. Her eyes danced up and down the grave that could be seen just within the tangleof the plant mildly disturbed by her presence and digging before the plants had become 'sentient' enough to respond accordingly.
