With her armour now fully crafted Yoko could turn her attention towards her next project, it was, however, rather more advanced than what she had previously attempted in terms of weapons at least. For she wanted to be able to forge a shield from what remained of her starmetal, the material was unrivalled in toughness after all so if she could harness it for a shield then surely it would provide the best defence out there?
For the time being the youth did not know the answer to this question, nor did she know the best design for a shield. Thus, she turned her attention towards the study of this art, she picked up one of her textbooks and began to read about different ways in which she could improve her mastery of weaponsmithing. In otherwords, she attempted to focus her attention on it and thereby acquire a skill focus.
Doing so should have been a rather simple endeavour for a ninja as skilled as she was but still, it would take some time. The first question on her mind was with regard to the shape of the shield itself, how did one know what angle to make the shield at? Did it depend on the shape of the shield itself? Was a circular shield better than a kite shield? There was, after all, no point in creating a shield that she would later need to reform. She diligently studied away in an effort to obtain further information on the subject.
