Objective: Meet up with Yomazu's chief of police to learn information on the sudden thread, in order to set up defensive perimeters around Yomazu, and countermeasures against the riots.
Description: The capital of Yuki no Kuni is under siege by an impressively large force. The police units have their hands full, and it will take the combined effort of Yukigakure and Yomazu police to help get some of the mess under control. The Yukikage is enlisting help from the Tsuchikage personally so this is a cooperative mission to gather intel on the assaults.

After a personal one on one meeting with the Tsuchikage, Kahimi had much less stress compressing her mind than before. Now she has the needed clarity to go out, and set a standard in reply to this act of terrorism against the capital of the country. By people she allowed to have a second chance of free life no less. This act of betrayal is going to be repaid in full, one way or another...

The Yukikage came bursting out of the Festungstadt Embassy's front doors without a single care in the world for formality. Now that her mind was somewhat clearer, the Yukikage felt a need to get out in the field, to carry on the business she came over here to do. With her valued companion Krystal tagging along her confidence, was about as high as it can get right now. Her strides were quick, and fierce as she walked her way down the tall steps of the Embassy's front entrance. A slight bounce in her step as she made her way down, only to suddenly stop in her tracks as soon as both feet touched the street side pavement.

In this very moment Kahimi's senses spiked a little. Her intuition growing as she stood there with her arms tightly crossed and tucked underneath her breasts. Her chakra flourished slightly as her ears listened. They were not used to city surroundings, but they could still zone in on things. Her Inuzuka genes gave her such an instinct. Within a few seconds she could hear it. The roars of the rioters. They were everywhere...the sound itself disgusted and irritated Kahimi. More than enough to make her upset, but with that said she knew better than to get worked up too soon. The lingering effects of spending time with Krystal in the Embassy could be felt. Those effects doing an angels work in allow Kahimi to slow down and just breath. In.....then out. As sacred as the Scirocco winds themselves.

This short meditation did its job, and with determination set in mind Kahimi was able to remember her plans prior to even meeting up with the Tsuchikage today. Her eyes opened back up now with a clear goal. Though before she'd move she'd turn her gaze over to where ever Krystal was if possible. Her multi-colored gaze would linger on the tall amazon for a minute or two as she stared up at her beautiful face. A soft smile forming as simply looking at the feline gave her happiness it seemed. Why is that? She couldn't tell yet...

"Okay Tiger. Follow me I need to contact someone before we go out there and smash some heads." She'd say calmly.

On the way out Krystal had a simple smirk on her lips her hair having returned to its typical clothing for the sake of the embassy. However as Kahimi stopped Krystal did as well and her senses took in the city, the roars and crashes from rioters, the scent of flame and ash, the faint stacks of smoke in various places.

Her gaze shifted to the young Yukikage, it wasn't nearly what Krystal dealt with when she took over Stone but it was still bad. However as she looked at Krystal and seemed to find peace the cat blushed slightly returning the smile before she told her where to start. With a nod, she shifted behind Kahimi hugging around her shoulders weightless as veils of violet passed the young woman Krystal having shed her one piece again.

However this time from the corners of Kahimi's vision she would see the black stripes across Krystal's arms thicken and spread till her skin was inky black with smoke or shadow drifting off, likewise the effect spread to her hair as well becoming a black waving shroud around her. "Lead the way.

With her mind set on what she desired to do; as well as the support of the Tsuchikage at her side Kahimi, finds herself even more determined than she was a minute ago. Perhaps its only natural for an Inuzuka to be so empowered while in the company of family. In this situation her lips remained curled into a small smile as Krystal wrapped herself around her shoulders. The lack of weight was always a mystery considering how much taller, and bigger Krystal is in some ways. However considering there is a lot that the Inuzuka doesn't know about regarding Krystal or herself for that matter she wouldn't worry too much. There will be a time and a place for questions later. Who knows Kahimi may turn out to have superhuman strength and just didn't know it yet!

That humorous thought brought out a chuckle within the Yukikage. Though it was then that she noticed something different about her companion. Her eyes inevitably shifted to gaze at the now transforming black stripes, that began to cover up the lovely brown skin of the amazon. "Oh?" Kahimi verbally pondered as her curiosity got the best of her. With such signs of a transformation taking place she couldn't help herself to not try to look.

Her head tilted back against Krystal's soft chest in an effort to look up at her face. Only to see that everything indeed had changed to match that wraith like shift of appearance. The smoke like aura radiating off Krystal definitely added to the effect. "That's new...So are you a phantom kitty now, or is your tail still pullable?" she'd joke teasingly while reaching up with her left hand to attempt to softly feel and caress one side of Krystal's face to be sure. Her hand very curiously exploring the amazon's features for a moment if given the opportunity. The Yukikage's eyes for that short time also locked in awe of the new look as she found it interesting as well as feeling protected in an odd way.

Afterwards Kahimi would focus her mind and attention back on the job at hand. First she needed to contact the chief of the police forces in Yomazu. So with time ticking away around them, Kahimi took the lead in their journey. Her steps were simple, and relaxed. Although she had concerns and knew the city was in trouble she couldn't bring herself to rush. That as well as the comfort of having someone hold on to her like Krystal triggered a sense of comfort within her senses. Part of Kahimi now wishes she stayed in that room with the Tsuchikage a little longer...

Still duty calls, and the well being of the people is important to her too. So...Kahimi after a few minutes of walking down the street, would begin to slightly pick up the pace into a jogging speed. That would be as much as she'd do considering she didn't want to drag Krystal around by running everywhere even if she is sure the feline could manage just fine.

Besides at this pace she could take a look at the damage of the city once they passed through some of the rioted streets. The burned, vandalized, and damaged property upset the Yukikage enough to make her hair start to flow unnaturally in irritation. Her hands gently squeezing on Krystal's forearm as she held on to it. The proximity of her warmth was the only thing keeping her from turning around to just go kill those ungrateful bastards instead.

Its the only thing keeping her from getting too upset once she began to see the dead bodies. The mix between civilians, gang rioters, and police forces wavered significantly amongst those bodies. Luckily it was more so the rioters than anything else. However blood has been spilled either way, which Kahimi couldn't settle for.

The worst of it has yet to be seen, though once the trail of destruction led to more patrolling guardsman keeping watch for any stragglers, the Yukikage knew she was headed to the right place. The chief of Yomazu always had a thing for taking refuge in the eye of the storm. She knew he wasn't going to stay in his office while the city was being threatened. The chosen place of rendezvous began to make sense now. He wanted Kahimi to see this first...

"We are almost there Krystal. Just...stay close to me please." Kahimi would ask softly as she kept walking pass the guards, pass the burnt or even broken down buildings. Pass the organized, and unorganized dead bodies. Pass the injured...and even pass the building pain. However not pass the anger. With the Tsuchikage's presence weighing her down Kahimi was only a few triggers away from going out on blind rage to seek vengeance. She needed answers first. She needed to know who is responsible...to know if her suspicions are true. She needs...

A target. A victim. She wants an excuse to kill those that have dared crossed her. In the name of Yuki no Kuni. In the name of Yomazu, and for the pride of her position as kage of Yukigakure. Punishment will not be spared, and mercy will not be given. The new era for the Land of Snow will now be paved with the blood of its enemies.

Oddly as they pressed closer, the two would find each other firmer, the wind and the shadows balancing each other so their forms wouldn't brush past them. As Kahimi brushed Krystal's cheek she nuzzled her palm, her eyes now faintly glowing gold outlines. Rather than speaking Krystal's dark lion-like tail would brush over the girl's nose while the neko settled in nuzzling her neck.

As they started off Krystal glanced around getting her bearings and taking in the layout of the city, more strategically than drinking it in. The chaos made a faint red glow circle her eyes as she watched but faded once she breathed out, a night long ago that still clawed inside her. Although Krystal noted how Kahimi's breathing increased and her body tensed slightly, the slight grit to her breath, the edge of rage.

"Focus, protect. They don't need rage." Krystal whispered like a breeze as the scent of lavender and honey flowed from her skin.(Inuzuka Charm+Energizing Pheromone) Regardless if the words worked, Krystal would use her flight to push her forward stepping just a bit further each time.

The two of them were going to be getting into the wildfire of all this chaos very soon. This is not the first conflict Kahimi has had to face head on in her life either, but as a kage it is her first public appearance beyond the walls of Yukigakure. Beyond that one inauguration she had to do. Perhaps her nervousness was being built up from that, and then becoming transformed into frustration and anger? No...those three emotions were manifesting on their own. Kahimi could tell that by heart alone.

Luckily she had a trustworthy companion again. Her old friends wouldn't believe that Kahimi being a kage is real. Nor does she think they'd like it. The Inuzuka had a knack for getting involved with the wrong crowd at a young age, so there is a very small selection of remembered faces that have any notability for being a good influence on her. Though that was the past life she lived. Everything is different now.

Krystal's sudden interjection once Kahimi was nearing an edge of instability with her emotions towards the carnage she has seen so far; did its designed job completely. Kahimi upon hearing those words she seemingly snapped out of it, and for a bit of time she was at a loss for thoughts or processing. The Tsuchikage was right after all, she wasn't helping anyone getting like this. Then of course the pheromones began to sink in to the Inuzuka's senses which switch all the negative momentum backwards into positivity like a switch.

That first initial breath Kahimi took as soon as Krystal's scents entered her system felt like some sort of high hit her mind. But before Kahimi could even say anything the feline already started to physically shift things forward using her body and flight advantage. Due to the Charm and Pheromone, Kahimi couldn't try anything to retaliate, and instead was easily taken along with Krystal's increasing pace however she wished.

Although the both of them didn't have to go much further for there as they had reached the temporary outpost station the chief set up within the city of Yomazu near the Western side's gates. Over here the area was heavily secured, and by the looks of it where most of the escaped civilians were huddled up by Police Forces looking to minimize anyone caught in crossfire, taken hostage, or out right murdered by the rioting Gridlock terrorists.

This whole area is a huge park not too far from the chief's normal HQs which means that the attacks most likely were headed in that direction in an effort to keep the police from interfering. Luckily the rioters never made it in time considering the carnage they were bringing with them. Kahimi and Krystal could all see this from their very eyes. The huge park now turned crisis camp they were about to enter. Nobody noticed the two of them yet, so there was time to prepare which is time Kahimi would gladly try to use.

"Well...uh...this is it. Are you ready? You aren't nervous right? No no, that's silly of course you aren't. You're never nervous." she'd ask as if Krystal was the one who was emotional the whole way here. The Inuzuka felt so energized, but so directionless. Her confidence was being tested once again as she still felt determined, but was afraid of failure. These fears were creeping on her the best they could. All that tension Krystal removed prior to this, was attempting to invade the Yukikage's sense of mental and physical security again.

Her heterochromia eyes showed this in full as Kahimi had turned her body within Krystal's grasp in an effort to look at her once again. Wanting to know that she was sure that she wanted to come along for this mission one last time. To know what she as a fellow kage feels. To know what someone whom Kahimi actually cares about feels. Its then that she broke and finally started talking for real.

"Look I'm nervous as hell Krystal...and scared. Really really upset, but also very very scared okay? I don't want to screw this whole kage thing up, but I refuse to give up the position since I asked for it. This will be the first time I ever publicly announced myself beyond the village, and worked with anyone else other than you or my own ninja. I need to know Krystal...if you think we...well if I can do this? I am sure you don't have any worries as you always seem so happy and carefree when I see you. I don't know how you do it..." she'd finally explain feeling that Krystal deserved to know how the Inuzuka felt regarding all of these events leading up to now.

Feeling Kahimi begin to slow Krystal stopped pushing and instead drifted along like a cloak behind her. Although her sudden jitteriness surprised Krystal as the Yukikage questioned their nerves. Honestly if this had been a different situation itd be cute but right now it worried the neko.

As she turned around panic plain on her face, Krystal hugged her close listening as a ball of darkness comforted the Yukikage. Once she finished Krystal would lift her chin and kiss her lightly holding it long enough to reset the young woman's breathing and cease her panic attack.

"I believe in you, besides stop letting other people hold you down. You're the Yukikage, not them." Her voice still a breezy whisper in this state as she embraces the young woman and brought her back down to earth. "Show me that leader inside."

If there was anyway to express the safety the Yukikage felt when Krystal comforted her, it slipped right underneath her feet for the time being. She felt so vulnerable during a time like this, and that made her feel sick about herself. She despises her own weaknesses enough to despise existence itself.

Yet this cat-like woman that has oddly entered her life seemed to be able to correct that mess so easily. Even if some of her means of doing so at first feel out of place when they happen, they show their worth one way or another every single time. Kahimi has learned to recognize and respect this more than anything. So much so that she has began to crave it a little...to want to learn how it works. No wonder she is the Tushikage.

Of course that is what Kahimi felt and thought after the fact. Instead for most of their encounter for the next half a minute she was freaking out internally as her lips were making contact with Krystal's. That normally toned out face of hers now quickly riddled with shock, and a hot pink coloring from all the nervousness being increased and then stolen out of her body.

This isn't even the first kiss she's had with this damn amazon and it still feels so weird yet nice at the same time! Overtime the internal arm flailing and failure to consciously respond in anyway; left the Inuzuka lost in a blank state, which inevitably brought the "reset" Krystal was looking for. This made obvious as she simply stared up at the black-clad neko still feeling the lingering effects of everything that happened just now, almost stumbling when her feet touched the ground beneath them again.

Then it hit her. Kahimi felt the click that the entire fiber of her being needed flip itself into the right direction. Her lost in confused awe expression would then shift back into that hardened look she gets when something needs to be done. In other words her pride and strength as an Inuzuka and as kage manifested properly. There was still much to do, but she had the determination again. Her tone of voice now matching this change of pace as it shifted back into that playfully stoic attitude she is known for.

"...Wow. Heh, thanks for that, but y-eah you're right I guess we better get started then. Okay come on catnip we got a job to do." she'd declare before tightening the sash around her kimono, and making sure nothing was out of place or needlessly exposed before turning around to get a move on. This time she could keep a straightforward pace all on her own. Their destination being the outpost of Yomazu Ciy Park.

Now that her mood, had been brightened up Kahimi was rejuvenated back to her more hardened personality that only shines through within correct settings. Her padded sandal shoes, had a distinct clacking sound as they hit the slightly damp pavement from the melted snow. The weather had entered its summer period which meant that things were heating up significantly.

Many wouldn't believe it to be true, but Yuki does get hot summers as well, its simply harder to feel because of all the cold cloud blocking the sun's view of some areas of the country. Yukigakure and Yomazu being very clear contrasts of each other. The near chilly breeze of Yomazu's atmosphere is about as unsettling as it gets for those that are effected by it. As compared to Yukigakure which isn't as advanced and relies on the sun to remind its residents that the weather isn't always bitter.

This sense of hopeful sunshine, emulates the strong willed nature of the Yomazu police force. No matter how tough the people of Yomazu know better than give up, and that goes triple for its authority. While the citizens are all separated, and some are being forced into submission many have already taken into account the chance of retaliation against Gridlock's forces. Many temporarily enlisting into the low ranks of the police battalion simply to be able to get some clearance to make a move, even if it means having to risk getting caught in the thick of the fight. This steel courage is way different from the lost pride Yukigakure has. This is what Kahimi misses.

However what Yukikage didn't anticipate is the overwhelming level of respect camaraderie towards her. Perhaps the numerous amount of people staying off to the side once they noticed Kahimi walking through is because of Krystal's reasonably scary appearance.

"Make way! The new Yukikage has arrived!" One guardsman announced out from a watchtower. As they neared the security gates the operators controlling it, would unlock, and open up the security compound to them. Multiple Yomazu Police branded personnel already taking position to salute, and welcome the sudden arrival of the Yukikage.

"Welcome Lady Yukikage we appreciate your assistance in the effort to keep Yomazu standing tall!" one of the gate operators would, say as she and Krystal walked through.

"Lady Yukikage the Pride of Yomazu thanks you! Hoorah!" all the other officers would then call out in unison while they maintained their organized formations which basically made a line of bodies leading to the command center.

The Meeting

It is a welcoming like this that always throws the poor Inuzuka off her rocker. Yes she is holding a prestigious title, but she hardly knows anyone here let alone the vice versa parameters of the situation. Even if being kage holds this much weight, it doesn't explain the police guards and officers standing at attention for Krystal as well, some even bowing as Kahimi passed by along with her. Its almost as if she herself is a Yomazu commanding officer.

Her eyes took in this sight over and over as she followed the self forming trail that was leading to the inner command center where the chief is most likely residing, and as some of the officers kept greeting Kahimi respectfully her overall confidence, and presence began to grow into a much more healthy state. And yet the very tiny bit of nervousness plaguing her system allowed for Kahimi to become shy enough to subtly grab a hold of Krystal's hand and squeeze it tightly to her side wanting Krystal's presence to be slightly closer than it normally is to begin with.

But besides that the facts don't lie. Perhaps the insignia of the Yukikage wasn't lost amongst the country just yet...

Regardless of pleasant surprises they two kages will eventually reach their destination. The moment the big tent with a tall Yomazu City flag set up next became within clear view is the moment a tall man wearing a all black formal suit, with a 1000-Yard Stare stood before them. His stern facial expression seemingly unfazed by anything from them. Kahimi didn't weaken in front of him however. Instead she stood right in front of him, and in the midst of the silent pause would hold her hands together and for once decide to try things the formal way.

In an effort to show respect Kahimi would step forward in front of Krystal to greet him. With some adjustments her figure now was tightly held together in a straight, and symmetrical manner from head to toe. Kahimi then made a deep bow in front of the man. Her entire body bending over as smoothly, and properly as she remembers Lana showing her. "Its a honor to work along side you Mr. Watanabe. I hear your skills in directing a battle field are quite-" She'd begin only to be cut off from catching the sound of laughter. At first she thought it was a game her mind was playing upon her, but with a curious glance she'd notice the chief actually smiling and laughing all of a sudden.

Its then that he spoke up. "Ahahaha!...oh my apologies Lady Yukikage I hope you can forgive me. Though I can't help, but notice that your kimono is a bit undone. Besides there is no need for formality miss I am not as demanding guy as I let on." He'd point out with a now wide, and friendly grin on his face.

Though the damage is done, Kahimi's built up confidence hit rock bottom as she then realized what he was talking about. Her kimono was still exposed from the backside from Krystal opening it up earlier. The utter embarrassment striking Kahimi would become obvious as her whole body began to shift into a hot reddish-pink. A mix of anger and utter humiliation as she then slowly turned to Krystal with a look on her face that was both begging for help, and declaring vengeance on that feline for not saying a damn thing this whole time.

"Your big tail having ass is so fucked when I get my hands on you later-" she'd grumble at her underneath her breath in embarrassment riddled tone as she scrambled to fix her kimono.

After Kahimi had finally wound down and steeled herself Krystal smiled lightly and retook her place holding onto the young woman who carried her around. The confidence is what she appreciated seeing the most in her mates and was probably why she bonded to the women she did.

As they neared people Krystal would close her eyes preferring to be the Yukikages cloak of shadows rather then deal with people. The clamoring and cheers made the neko lower her ears as a faint grumble left her throat, her pervasive hearing more sensitive to crowds.

As Kahimi came to a stop Krystal's eyes opened to see a man in a black suit though she wasnt impressed. A brief bout of fatigue passed through the cat as she yawned and her arms loosened from Kahimi as she bowed down. However, Krystal noticed her clothing open and felt slightly confused but the others in the room seemed to break out laughing. The faintest growl rumbled through the wraith as golden eyes raked over the people and a foreboding aura rolled out from her. (Disturbing foe)

Regardless of the result Krystal's attention returned to Kahimi after the man had spoken and just in time for the young woman to round on the neko. The tyraid was kinda cute if for no other reason that it wasnt the nudist's fault the kage didnt cloth herself properly.

With a shrug the shroud of shadows slipped off Krystal returning to her stripes and leaving her naked body bare. With a playful smirk she lifted Kahimi's chin with a finger while purring. "Promise?" (Inuzuka charm)

The onlooking people of both YCP and normal citizens, could only have a few seconds of laughter along side the chief before the Tsuchikage's death stare swept over them. The wraith like appearance mixed with those eyes of here, was certainly enough to do the job of shooing away the laughter, and surrounding crowd. Most of them, not pretending like nothing was happening in favor of going about their day.

This didn't exactly save the Tsuchikage from Kahimi's threats though its safe to say that Krystal wasn't exactly effected they way someone else might be. Which for the most part is totally fine. Krystal didn't deserve to be accused of the malfunction, but it happened anyway. This didn't stop the amazon from immediately shutting all that bravado down with her response.

Kahimi had completely forgotten the lack of clothing the feline likes to have, and during a time like this a tall naked cat lady is about as much as a distraction as anything else. Her expression completely shifted from the hard scowl she was giving prior to this realization, into a much more flustered one. The single finger on her chin, thus negated any sense of leverage Kahimi might of had a few seconds ago. Once again she became the little spoon she always is.

"W-wait hold on that is not what I mea- A-are you purring?!? Krystal come on, just please before anyone gets the wrong idea I already promised back in the embassy you're embarrassing me." she pleaded looking away from direction to direction refusing to get trapped by that look Krystal always uses on her. Little did the Yukikage know that the Inuzuka charm was already working on her.

On the chief's end of things this couldn't get any more amusing. As much as he enjoys a laugh and interesting company there was business to attend to, and little time. Therefore Mr. Watanabe brought it upon himself to work his way back into the conversation before, the business they came to take care of becomes anymore of an after thought.

"I'd hate to bud into your lascivious desires with your mistress Lady Yukikage, but I did accept a meeting with you for a reason. Perhaps we can discuss it now that you have arrived? I am not one to underestimate or crudely judge the whims of a young adult exploring their interests, but surely you understand the situation of Yomazu and its important yes?" he'd suggest. However his wording in the first sentence stuck with Kahimi like hot glue. The poor thing was so flustered and embarrassed she turned around to face him. Waving off the idea that Krystal is her mistress or something like that. "Mistre- No no, she isn't my- Sir you have the wrong idea. I came here to set up the defense of the city in the right direction, trust me this won't happen often. we can discuss things with no problem at all." she'd desperately try to explain in a rush to get off such lewd topics.

Knowing that Krystal has a quick mouth Kahimi would turn her head back quickly, and show her a sharp look. "Don't even think about it I'm not calling you my mistress." she'd say before turning her attention back around. Practically folding her arms in a pout as she felt so betrayed by life itself right now to have been embarrassed like this...even if it is her fault anyway. Nevertheless they group of three notorious leaders moved on, and as she began to follow the chief Kahimi didn't hesitate to grab Krystal's hand again albeit more so to make sure she didn't go anywhere.

The next little outburst however confused the neko as she never found any issue with showing affection, and still wouldnt. Rather than saying anything she placed her hand on the young woman's head petting her while she barked. Krystal's gaze rose to the man as he spoke up again and a particular word rang in the back if her mind. A faint red arc of static played on her eyes as her scent began to shift slightly.

Krystal meanwhile missed Kahimi's little outburst over the word while apologizing to the man. However her sharp look and tone snapped Krystal back though she raised a brow in question rather than shrinking back. Before anything bad though she was pulled along by Kahimi, but she instead slipped her hand away and fell over the Yukikages shoulders once more.

"But I really, really like it~" Krystal whispered low and warm in her ear as the heady scent of cinnamon drifted off her skin. (Attraction Pheromone+Inuzuka charm) Krystal continues to purr low but would relent from teasing more than her scent and holding the girl that is. "Please?~"

She didn't notice any of the odd reactions Krystal had during that short bout over a word, but she'd surely be on the receiving end of it later as the two of them continue to spend some time together. At best Kahimi could try to buy herself some time before Krystal inevitably gets to her.

There is only so much one can do with a being as persistent, and affectionate as this. Its almost scary to think how Krystal might be when she is mad. Then again...maybe it could be....no...she can't think of such things right now. She had to focus no matter how much her imagination was secretly running wild in the background.

While they were making the short trip inside Chief Watanabe's command center, the elusive Tsuchikage easily slipped herself free from Kahimi's grip only to wrap herself over the shorter woman's shoulders again. This has been the usual thing so the Yukikage didn't think much of it as its simply how they have always traveled together.

It wasn't until Krystal began to speak that things became tense for her again. What the bewitching amazon decided to do next, really struck a weak cord within the Inuzuka which sent a big chill down her spine. Her voice, those words...it felt like a warm, slithery snake was coiling around her entire body and nervous system taking impossibly nibbles along the way.

At anytime that snake could just go for the neck and bite to get what it wants. But it refuses to make it easy. That feeling is one Kahimi knows only a prey would feel when a predator has them locked in their sights or makes themselves noticed unexpectedly... And that feeling was never been there before from anything Krystal has ever done with the Yukikage suggestive or not.

Why the sudden change? It seriously freaked the Yukikage out, enough to make her tremble a little as Krystal simple whispered in her ear, and held on to her while they walked. However right now Kahimi's world had slowed down into a drastically gradual pace.

Her face probably looked as cute as it did slightly terrified right about now. This is a whole new level of fear and insecurity washing over the Yukikage. At least for the ones she already has based on confrontation. Shyness has nothing to do with it. Instead right now what she feels is fear. Which is odd seeing as she considers Krystal trustworthy and valuable. Though the fact is right now Krystal was making Kahimi feel intense pressure, and yet...so very invited to feel welcome and safe.

But the catch is Kahimi would have to give in, and accept whatever is coming to her. To submit. To fully let herself be guided. To shut up, learn, and simply be grateful. To not fight and bite the hand trying to feed her...which something her body and soul has never been comfortable with in ANY sort of context.

The Inuzuka within her wants to fight. Wants to keep Krystal chasing. Wants to be the one calling the shots. However she can't. Kahimi is far too weak right now to do anything with her own power. Her confidence can be built up where it needs to be, but it never lasts. This is something she painfully knows more than anyone. She just choses to lie to herself and act like it doesn't exist. To pretend she is strong. Kahimi's will is built for fighting. It wanted to test her predator in their little game. Which seems to be the first natural response Kahimi has instead of running or hiding for anything really, but what she refuses to acknowledge is that doing that is the most dangerous way to play a predator's game.

The sad part is, Krystal most likely never even intended for these words or anything she has done so far since they first met to ever have such an effect on Kahimi. That only goes to show how scary this kind of situation is to the Yukikage, and for the most part its working. In a weird screwed up way this is teaching and strengthening Kahimi more than her bitchy assistant could ever attempt to replicate with her own methods.

At least in the sense of fully putting the rebellious kage in her place. She has fought everyone and everything all her life. Always questioned something because she felt the need to voice and show her opinion. To be right, and keep herself safe and be in control. To be the boss.

Unfortunately for Kahimi its obvious that between the two Inuzuka its not the Yukikage that is the alpha here. Not even in her own home. It is the amazon. It always has been. Kahimi realizes this now. And for the first time...she is accepting defeat. She has been fighting Krystal for all this time, when all the amazon has been doing has been trying to show affection. Now that fighting has finally come back to bite Kahimi right in the tush in the worst way possible which is challenging her fears. She hated it, but...perhaps its for the best she give in a little.

And so it make come as a shock to Krystal, but there would be no witty jokes, small growls, or playful talk backs. No such attitude came from the Yukikage. Instead once she took a moment to calm her nervous pants down to relaxed breathing, she'd muster the strength to even speak. Albeit once she did her tone of voice was as frail and submissive as it possibly has ever been. Her face riddled with nervousness as its skin became as colored as its ever been as well, although more so in the hot pink kind of hue. That cinnamon scent now finally fueling her mind enough to fall under its effects and give her the confidence to speak. All she'd say are two simple words:

"Okay;...mistress."

As the heady almost drunk scent of cinnamon settled in Krystal felt Kahimi's breath quicken and her body tense again. Given her weightless state the neko lightly rubbed her arms and shoulders reassuring as she nuzzled against her neck. It seemed that she finally got through that tough exterior and a soft purr escaped the cat.

Without missing a beat, Krystal hugged her and gently floated along so they wouldnt delay much more. Although as she turned around to face her, Krystal's ears flattened worried but her heavy blush made the neko a little flustered as well. As she heard the words however Krystals eyes became alive with sift gold sparks and a gentle smile crossed her lips.

"Thank you~" she whispered before kissing her soft on the lips, genuine and caring before the cinnamon faded returning to lavender. (Energizing) As she pulled back Krystal leaned forward to nibble on her neck just to shock her back. "Now show me my wolf in action. I expect nothing less than perfection."

The nucleus fueling the life energy and chakra within Kahimi's body pumped harder, and clicker as the her nerves refused to die down. She was defeated in one way, and then rejuvenated in another. Her emotions mixed up in such a tight note she didn't even know where to begin to express herself correctly let alone at all. It was all reactionary.

She didn't fight being hugged and tugged along towards the command center. Her body wanted to resist feeling uneasy, but her mind refused to respond. It simply couldn't do so. Not in denial of Krystal's wishes. When face to face with the taller woman Kahimi had a hard time keeping eye contact now. Not when her stares were that cutting, and reached that deep into her soul.

She was a wreck, and easily controlled by this point. But as usual it seemed the amazon always wanted to reassure the Yukikage in times like this. The kiss granted to her damn near made her collapse, if it weren't for that neck bite following after. Only able to nod in understanding once she was asked to continue to lead and prove herself. To say no pressure now would be cruel...

The Meeting

Regardless of her feelings Kahimi would do as she was told seeing no point in trying to back out now. So she'd simply take the lead and finally entered the command center most likely with Krystal follow close behind her. Once inside the Chief would guide the both of them near the back of the small building all the way into what could be safely considered to be a makeshift office. This room, basically had enough space for a few things, and Krystal unfortunately would have to duck to get through the open door.

There would be one simple desk with the chief's large chair and two standard yet still comfortable ones on opposite sides of each other. The Chief of course taking his, and then with one hand gestured to the others. "Those chairs are yours if you want them ladies." he'd insist before reaching over to grab some stacked files over towards the left side of him. Kahimi didn't hesitate to take a seat in one of the chairs. Hers being the one on the left side of the desk, which means the other chair would place Krystal close by on her right side. Despite the small room Krystal would actually have enough leg room to hopefully not be uncomfortable. Although that is assuming she'd bother sitting down in the first place.

Either way if nothing would be interject the slightly formal meeting between police chief Baile Watanabe and Yukikage Kahimi Inuzuka could begin:

"Okay so what is the deal out here chief. I can't understand why or how Yomazu was able to be seemingly sneak attacked out of nowhere by a bunch of crooks. Is there no intel on this threat at all?" She openly questioned right away without holding back.

Upon hearing this Baile took a short glance up from the paperwork within the file he retrieved from the stack he grabbed prior, to look up at the young Yukikage's face. She seemed heavily confused about the situation and probably rightful so. However something about her wording made him skeptical of something.

"By all means I don't understand it myself either. However if I am not mistaken through a bit of intel it seems the attacks sprung on the city are similar to the ones that happened during your inauguration only a few months ago. So I'd say you are familiar already with our threat yes? Ms. Inuzuka?" He'd state as if to throw her off from making Yomazu seem careless or lacking in awareness. His tone was calm, but his demeanor lacked any of that charismatic attitude he had prior all of a sudden.

The slight dig at her and Yukigakure definitely made Kahimi step back a bit in her forwardness. At least to think as she realized that perhaps she stepped over a line somewhere. But then...something clicked...

"Wait a second sir...Now that doesn't add up. It may not look like it, but I know for sure that my village's information isn't easily accessible from the outside. You certainly didn't know I was the kage until I contacted you directly so how do you know about that?" She'd rightful question.

Its then that Baile showed a bit of that old personality with a soft chuckle along with a little smile. "Oh my, well it seems the Yukikage doesn't know everything about the whereabouts of her village's intel deliveries then. Since you asked I find it a bit funny that its your very own assistant that gave us this information. Yes, Ms. Dethorne was the one who spoke up about your interrupted inauguration ceremony.

In fact her name is personally written right here in the report I have. Of course was only done in an unintentional exchange of intel as she was looking to put together pieces on what we knew about the sudden threat creeping on our safety, however I must say she didn't exactly try to keep it a secret either. It came as a shock to me. I didn't know those things were so open to the public these days."

"They're not..." Kahimi would mutter softly slightly shocked from disbelief. It didn't make sense. Why would someone as strict, and uptight as Lana just all of a sudden be giving away secret information. She was the one who took all the personal extra lengths to ensure the information remained classified anyway! It just didn't make sense... But...Kahimi didn't want to get distracted by that sudden bombshell. She had to keep her composure.

"Okay look this is a waste of time, lets move past this. I wanna know if you or anyone has come up with a plan for this yet. I came here to know what I need to make sure gets handled. So lets get to it chief. Tell me what's happening out here, and do it quick. We'll talk about that information leak later..." she ordered refusing to lag behind the conversation or let it simmer.

Upon hearing this the chief found no need to press on further. After all he didn't want to anger the Yukikage. "I agree Ms. Inuzuka. However the process of planning requires careful work. This threat is much more calculated than we initially thought-" he'd go on to say. "Initially thought? What do you mean initially? Did you already make contact with the enemy beforehand?" she'd ask in a puzzled manner.

From this the chief paused a little. Slowly closing the file in front of him, and looking off to the side for a short second before sighing and answering. "Yes we did. It was under the assumption we could cut off the-" But he wouldn't get to finish. Kahimi in a small fit of irritation would speak over him.

"What the hell? That is NOT what I was told "Mr. Watanabe". I was told your forces weren't sent out in fear of making an unnecessary push on an overwhelming enemy. I was told that the they took over too much ground too quickly too risk sending in any people. So you mean to tell me that was a lie?! How am I supposed to help you if I can't even be given straight information?" she questioned very sternly, obviously upset with the chief upon learning there was already action taken when she was told there wasn't any.

"Ms. Inuzuka please don't take this as personal misinformation. Yes we DID make an attempt to attack them already, BUT it was during the counter offensive already in place when my forces successfully repelled the first wave of assault the city was hit with.

It was all unplanned and in the moment so uh...technically no we haven't planned anything yet which is why you are here. I can't risk losing my people, and civilians can't afford to wait." he defensively explained himself. However hearing this didn't settle Kahimi's issues with his previous statement.

"Sir I can understand why that may be the case. However that does not mean you can brush away telling me to come out here and talk to you in preparation for a full scale assault that already kicked your ass the first time.

I mean why aren't there any people from the first assault here to help give personal information on what they saw out there? How many people do you have available with you anyway? If I am to help plan I at least need to know who's capable of doing what." Its this question that made the chief pause completely. The silence definitely meant something was up. And that made Kahimi suspicious even more. Enough that her expression tightened into an unamused look of doubt that almost every woman skeptical of something important has used at least once in their life.

"Chief...how many people have returned from the first assault you ordered? Please do not lie to me."

Silence again...

"Chief Watanabe do you hear me? I want the number. What is wrong with you?" she now demanded clearly getting upset, and concerned by his sudden loss of voice. After at least ten seconds of silence he spoke.

"None of them." he finally answered back.

"...What?" Kahimi said having heard him, but...a little taken off guard by his answer.

Its now that Baile seemed...different entirely. His whole person seeming...lost and depressed. As if his internal emotions had broken through a fake persona. A few tears starting to build up in his eyes as he couldn't hold in his pain anymore.

"I said none of them did. Those monsters slaughtered them all! Every last one of them! The only ways I know of this is because I had rushed down there to see the truth for myself! They did it damn it! They killed them all. They killed my friends...my family. They took my son and daughter from me...I...I...I sent them. Both of them together to help lead the charge. They were my best men.

We were sure we knew what we were doing. We all did. It all started off good. We pushed them away from the main parts of the city that had the most people. Pushed them all the way into the city where we planned to pinch them in a our signature three platoon attack and...and then...

I got the news a few minutes later. That the lines fell. That my son...died trying to get everyone to retreat back out. It was a trap. They let us think we were winning and ambushed them...my daughter was the last one left...she died right after telling me herself. That they lost. All relayed through the radio right here..." He'd explain gushing out all the information he had on the first assault before continuing.

"All I have are platoons five and six. Four got lost trying to recover the survivors and we lost contact with them from the surprise attack they targeted here. All those bodies you see there are the fallen from five and six. I don't have many people left miss.

I can't do this anymore. There are hardly any fully trained police teams left anymore. My top ranking officers are all either dead or lost in the field somewhere. I'm all that's left in terms of high chain of command. The only thing we can manage is to try to block and box all those savages in main square where they killed my son.

Its too hot out there Ms. Inuzuka I can't risk losing any more people to those monsters. They are planning to come here again and finish me off soon. Please...just leave me here to die and take my men with you. I have never faced defeat before. Not like this. I am not fit to lead them anymore..." He pleaded practically falling apart in his seat as looked Kahimi in her multi-colored eyes. His almost blurry from the tears he shed over thinking about his dead children and forces. Thinking about his failures.

Kahimi...on the other side of the desk however was not shedding any tears. Instead she was internally furious, though this time not with the chief. She could spar him now that she knew the truth. He was a great man, who simiply lost his pride and joy in life. His meaning in this cruel world. She understood that a man's pride can be his greatest weapon or his biggest weakness at anytime. She knew better than to make him out to be a weak man. He was simply broken now...However right now...she wasn't looking to fix him or take pity either. Instead...she was looking to make a statement. Thus she reached out gently and patted him on the head he continued to sob into his desk.

"Hey...listen...eyes up chief. I don't like to see men cry. Its not all your fault. Learn from your mistakes and grow. I need you to pull your ass together, and lead your men because that is what you are trained to do. I'll take care of them for now, but when I say so your WILL take over for me.

They won't follow me like they will follow you. So to give up on them like this is to be weak as a leader. Besides I don't have time to fix your mistakes. I only have time to make the right choices. And right now we need to protect this city from any future waves of assault.

Take the time you need to grieve over your losses Chief, me and the Tsuchikage will handle keeping these assholes away from you and the civilians who haven't been able to escape yet. What I need you to do is inform your men and women to keep their spirits high, and to prepare to lockdown the city entirely.

Coming sunrise tomorrow morning I'll have as many as my shinobi that I can afford to send out here to help turn this whole thing around. I want you to be ready to be out in the field by the end of this week after that. It will take some time to prepare a proper plan, but the blockade I will set up will buy us all the time we need." she'd declare before getting out of her seat being done with this meeting now.

With that she'd make a simple gesture for Krystal to follow her, and once the amazon came along she'd make her way out. However before leaving the man whom was now looking at her almost shocked to see such confidence in someone so young, she'd leave him with one last thing:

"Oh and quit it with the weird Ms. Inuzuka bullshit. My name is Kahimi Inuzuka, but only worthy people can refer to me that way. If you can't bring yourself to keep it simple than you will respect me by calling me Lady Kahimi or Ms. Yukikage one of the two do you understand? Failure to comply will result in punishment. No exceptions." she demanded sharply with a very cold and piercing stare aiming at his soul.

Those words were clear to the man though. He knew now that he was to follow her orders as an acquaintance underneath her authority. Thus he respectfully cleaned himself up and bowed to Kahimi after standing up from his seat as well.

"Yes, ma'am I am in your debt. Thank you for coming Ms. Yukikage." he'd say. Though by the time he stood back up from his bow and spoke his thanks.

Lady Kahimi the Yukikage of The Land of Snow...already made her way out the door of the command center. Hopefully with Krystal coming along too.

As they entered Krystal glanced around observing the small room, given her floating cloak like position she had no worry of the low doorway. As they were addressed Krystal took note of the fold out chair and instead vanished into cloud of smoke reforming as a black cat wraith perched in Kahimi's lap.

During the majority of the exchange Krystal only took note of the Yukikage's approach and reactions. Given the situation she was more than happy to wipe out unruly civilians, she'd done it before, so this wasnt nearly as tense or dramatic for the neko. Just another mob of people who thought they knew better and bit the hand that protects.

However, as the tension snapped and the captain broke down and her attention changed as she listened. The majority of their police force had been wiped out and slaughtered, including his own children. Hearing that, Krystal returned to her form behind Kahimi listening intently to every word about what happened. Krystal although stayed shrouded in shadow to hide her tensed muscle and bared claws as her own anger ran about in her mind.

As Kahimi tried to calm him down Krystal breathed low and brought herself under reign while her shadows returned to her stripes. As the meeting came to an end Krystal leaned down lightly holding the sides of the captain's face looking over him intently memorizing his features before touching her forehead to his own and stepping back. Though her hand shot out to grab Kahimi's hand stopping her.

"What are your children's names and where was your daughter left?" Krystal asked in an even but restrained tone, one that no one had ever heard out of the cat to date, though Kahimi would feel the tremors in her touch.

The exchange between the two officials went smooth with exceptions towards the intense emotions. Kahimi even pet Krystal in her cat form as she placed herself in the Inuzuka's lap. Although around the end of the conversation Kahimi became a bit cold, and unrelenting. She cared, but instead of giving the many total sympathy she left him with the choice to grow in preparation of battle, or to grieve for his losses and remain out of the fight. Either choice was fine with Kahimi even if that meant actually having to take the police forces under her control like he wanted.

The only thing that Kahimi didn't anticipate was for Krystal to suddenly stop her when she attempted to leave. With the Tsuchikage's hand holding on to hers Kahimi completely stopped, and simply...watched...listened. In her rush of emotions Kahimi had forgotten the caring soul that she had tagging along with her. The kind of person the Tsuchikage actually is especially when she has knowledge of such things that have fallen upon this country she is helping today. Remembering that brought a little...empathy within her. One she had forgotten to give the Chief not out of hate, but selfishness. She didn't want her own issues to haunt her...not yet.

The Chief was puzzled completely by the questions asked...but with nothing else in his disposal he'd give the information to Krystal. His left hand slowly reaching into the pockets of his suit so he could pull out two small photo slips and give them to the Tsuchikage. Both of them hardly looked over twenty to twenty-five years old. The pictures were recent too.

"Mary Ann, and Gene. My daughter was able to walk herself to a radio station not too far from here before she bled out. She's been safely secured. The intial push was up the road ahead which leads to the Main Square if you follow the same street signs North. My son however hasn't been retrieved since he died out in the field. It was too dangerous so I couldn't get close, but I saw enough to know it was a massacre out there..." he explained.

"Please, have Mary Ann ready when everything is done, I'll bring your children back to you." Krystal softly spoke while squeezing his shoulder before she stepped back while bowing her head, as she turned away however there was a change. Her muscle visibly rippled, her hair frazzled and visible fangs poked past her lips. (All Fours:Fire) Slow but heavy breaths made her chest heaved as she stepped beside Kahimi, her shadows turned black.

"I want Dethorne. Whoever she is. She'll pay." Krystal growled through her words, less of a request and almost a demand with weight of her anger. Slowly her muscle evened back out hidden beneath her figure as Krystal slipped her hand into Kahimi's waiting to be lead away.

Hearing what Krystal said about bringing Mary Ann and Gene back, bewildered both the chief and the Yukikage. Kahimi more so was shocked to know that Krystal could even do such a thing. She was talking about bringing them back to life wasn't she? Is that seriously possible? To what lengths was Krystal going to have to go to perform such a feat? Is this the true power of the Tsuchikage?

There were so many questions both Kahimi and Chief Watanabe wanted to ask. Instead Watanabe simply nodded in return to her, saying he understood. He didn’t care what the process looks like as long as his kids were brought back to him just how they were before their deaths.

Lady Kahimi on her end, would simply be looking at Krystal a little worrying about what was going on with her mentally. Someone who has spent so much time building the Yukikage up, now looks to be barely holding themselves together. The Inuzuka watched in silence as the Tsuchikage’s features shifted in some ways. All in ways that showed a carnal curiosity that is looking for the closest chance to lash out. Her words were heard very clearly, but Kahimi couldn’t help but feel some type of way about them.

“Krystal…” she began to say softly,...but then stopped herself in favor of letting it all go. The sensation of Krystal’s hand slipping tightly into her own was the only hint she needed to know that now wasn’t the time for that conversation. “Watanabe. In form your people to prepare to set up blockades on every section of the Main Square. We’ll take care of the heavy work.” she’d order calmly. After that she remained quiet, and would walk the Tsuchikage out of the building, without saying a word she’d begin to walk in the same direction the Chief said his platoons went when they initiated their failed counterattack. They had a job to do...
