Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: A dusty ring of honor stands, lined with racks of weapons, as a test of mettle for those who enter. Win or lose, sparring teaches everyone a little something. Those who spend at least an hour sparring or training here add 4 Armour Points to the damage of each of their attacks until their next long rest, end of an event, or end of a mission. May also be built as training grounds.
Limit: Must be created by a Construction Crafter.
Cost: 20,000 Ryo
Tavern, Fancy
Rank: "S"
Type: Main, Room, 1 Stronghold Space, Room
Effect: An establishment for the sale of beer and other drinks to be consumed on the premises, sometimes also serving food.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: This place serves wine as well as liquor and beer from its polished, marble-topped bar. It can call on the stronghold’s kitchen for food; alternatively, you can attach an extra kitchen assigned purely to this component. The tables are round, with solid chairs, and there are a few booths lining the walls. The cost of this component does not include any food or drink. The tavern can seat up to 20 people. If you need a greater capacity, you can purchase this component multiple times.
Limit: Must be created by a Construction Crafter.

Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Festive flagsspan across this open and vivacious courtyard while the sounds of animated haggling and the subtle clink of currency changing hands punctuate the air. Business is good enough here to warrant a permanent residence from merchants seeking small fortunes. Up to 3 Merchants have enough space to hold a small structure, and quality of goods as a more permanent placement (though merchants will have to remove stock and come back each day).
Limit: Must be created by a Construction Crafter.

If built using 2 expansion units, this capacity is doubled, and the pens may house 1 huge creature. This expansion does not automatically include creatures, which must be acquired through other means. This expansion also may be bought multiple times. May be built as a Monster Cage, Roost, or even as Kennels. Every person using a Breeding Kennel and having its resources will receive a +20 Circumstance bonus to Animal Husbandry checks. This can be used as an Animal Pen.

General
Sunagakure’s Community Center is a section of the city which has been deemed an “open space” for citizens to participate in a variety of activities, such as specialized training and crafting, to meet one another and increase the village’s strength. Ninja or non-ninja who come to the SCC are expected to follow the rules, which are listed below, but are entitled to roam the grounds and make use of the various buildings and tools. Members of the ANBU patrol the district, often in disguise, to keep watch for any offenses but generally stay quiet and out of the way. Sometimes guards are posted at the entrance to various buildings for additional security. Nestled between rocks on almost every side, the center has an archway through which all people can enter which is guarded by several Sand ninja to the south.
In the middle of the SCC is a courtyard with a simple fountain, a sign of wealth in the dry, desert climate, that splashes water into a small pool below. Benches are placed throughout, as well as tall lamps, for the comfort of the villagers. A stone tablet in the center of the courtyard hosts the names of the previous, distinguished Kazekage:
- Heero Kazume Uchiha [Nidaime Kazekage]
- Ranu Kia [Sandaime Kazekage]
- Kira Sankuchi [Yondaime Kazekage]
Granite pathways lead from the courtyard into the different areas of the district and are the main footpath throughout the area. Scattered palm trees rise up near the sidewalks and hang over the people as they walk by. If one follows the pathway to the west then they'll find an outdoor, Battle Arena open to the public. Ninja and non-ninja alike are encouraged to fight it out and demonstrate who is the strongest, and certain members are even willing to give rewards for participants. The battle ring is a round area of sand, blocked off by a wire gate, with a thirty meter diameter. People stand outside the ring and watch the fighters, cheering for their favorite. Some even place bets from the sidelines. Right across from the ring is a tavern which has been provided by the village officials. All sorts of merchants can sell their food and drink here to other people, as well as buy the nicest products. Ninja and other warriors often frequent the tavern, so it has a reputation for being rowdy. There are few windows inside and just a few circular tables that allow people to sit. A bar stretches along the back with various areas for people to serve their own drinks or food. Oil lamps are spaced throughout for ambient light.
On the east side of the courtyard, the path goes by several market stalls that have been set up for any merchant that wants to set up shop. This area is known as the Market Place and hosts all sorts of interesting vendors, and attracts the wealthiest consumers. Up to twelve different vendors can set up in the Market Place at small, wooden stations that have been provided although usually one or more is already occupied by village officials. Two ANBU are constantly on guard inside the Market Place and patrol for any misbehavior. The street outside the shops bustles with large crowds, interested in all that the city has to offer. Space is provided further down the walkway for shop keepers to open their own permanent businesses, provided that they supply their own buildings and employees.
On the north side of the courtyard, there is a tall, pillar-like sand and clay tower that stretches into the sky -- watching the sun as it makes its course throughout the day. The building was commissioned by Kazekage Shihana soon after she became the village leader. A series of stables line the right side of the tower, offering rooms for the companions of citizens that may frequent the tower. Up to six, large sized animal companions can fit in the stables, provided with food and water for their stay. Workers keep the area clean and an ANBU guard is always posted to make sure that the creatures are safe. Next to the stables is a small farmhouse that has been constructed for those looking to breed animals. There are several different pens and a public area for the animals to meet. People are encouraged to make use of the space for their own farming.
Behind the tower are different biome gardens that have been designed for specific plants found in the Land of Wind. As one looks over the area it looks like one really big garden, but closer examination reveals that there are several different circular patches, about thirty meters in diameter, that dot the ground. A vast irrigation network runs across the garden and keeps it watered, even out here in the desert. The first biome is a desert garden filled with all sorts of palm trees and hardy bushes. Cactus with various flowers cause an aroma to spread over the center and look dazzling in the sunlight. A bridge crosses a small river that runs through the desert region and leads into the jungle biome, where long vines grow around all sorts of exotic plant that is hard to find in the Land of Wind. The shade of the bushes and trees keeps one cool and some benches have been placed for the pleasure of the visitors. A swamp biome lays a little further out, murky with fecund water and odd, water plants, but only determined gardeners venture out this far. A small pond stretches between the three biomes, providing them water and a short bridge that walks over top is illuminated with dim torches. There are two, twisted dragon statues on the water's edge that have a notch at their third eye that looks like it could hold a gem or crystal. Fireflies, butterflies, and other insects often flit around the garden. Workers come to the biomes often to keep the wildlife under control and to harvest the products, as does the Sand Medical Corp for their medicinal herbs. Ninja and non-ninja are encouraged to take advantage of the garden and plant whatever they desire.
