Angela quickly turned, startled by the sudden sound and poke on her back. She let out a sigh seeing the flayed man floating right before her. How and when did he arrive behind her? She hadn't seen him fly up to her. Did he possess abilities that allowed him invisibility or was he capable of teleportation? She wondered. The girl's creations danced in the sky gracefully opening up a bigger circle to hover around both the flayed man and their creator. She let out another sigh before replying to the man's question, "I was handling my part of the deal till you came and ruined my plans."

Angy eyed the man, reading his body language and looking into his aura to check his emotional state. The monkey climbed off from her shoulder and into her arms where it was gently caressed and treated like a baby. "No. Never! Ay is a lot of things but no traitor. I believe the Stone ninja is alive somewhere down there. I'd be able locate and go assist him if it wasn't for the big mess you made. It might take a while to locate him but it will be done, so don't give me another heart attack. You may play with Jake as you wait." She extended both hands handing her monkey over to the man before her.

Krystal's soul split blinked out of existence just as Ken's Blight Siphon filled the tenkai in a burst. She had evaded the attack, but not her partner Zeki nor Isamu. Ken smiled as a pulse of health filled his soul and healed some of the wounds from the wraith's sonic attacks. The Sadojin, Zeki, had been hit with several of Selyse's earlier attacks, and now was suffering from the power of Ken's soul as well. Meaning he was probably reaching the limit on his health soon (if the soul attack didn't defeat him already). Ken was not surprised when the wraith teleported, her favorite trick, and was prepared to counter. As the wraith unleashed another sonic blast from right above them, Isamu created a sand wall to rush and protect Ken.

The opening.

Set wouldn't know, since at the same moment the sand wall appeared, but Ken blinked out of existence [2/5]. Her sonic attack would hit the wall and burst through it -- slamming into the tenkai barrier and shattering it. But Ken would already be behind her by the time the attack settled. Preparing his counter.

He reappeared on the opposite side of the tenkai dome, across from Isamu and behind Set, where she couldn't see him. As the sonic blast hit Isamu and destroyed the tenkai barrier, Ken raised his hands into an oval-shape and sent his mind toward the unsuspecting soul clone. Before she could send out too many blasts of light in Isamu's direction or teleport away, Ken would make an attempt to control the Set's psyche as the chakra-dome fell apart around them (Mind-Body Disturbance Technique). Appearing in the soul's blindspot and surprising her while she was preoccupied with her sonic blast and lasers, Ken didn't expect her to note his presence until it was too late.

Then he felt the chill. And snow.

If Set was captured by the Mind-Body Disturbance Technique, then (#1) the woman would flit to the ground, turn to Isamu, raise her arms as if to show that she was unarmed or under arrest, and would say, "Mind transfer complete," in unison with Ken while he smiled from beneath his mask. 

If Set was able to flee somehow, then Ken would perform unknown actions.

Drawback: If the hand seal is interrupted, the jutsu ends. The user cannot perform any other jutsu while this jutsu is active. If pain is caused to the possessed victim, the jutsu is cancelled. Also one cannot manipulate the victim to commit suicide or to harm him or herself.
Description: The Yamanaka is able to send a spirit of confusion among the enemy’ body, granting the user the ability to manipulate their opponent’s body. If the Yamanaka has the same Class as the victim, the jutsu will last seven posts. If the victim is of higher Class, subtract one post for every additional rank from the total of posts. If the victim is of lower Class, subtract a post from the total with each Class.

Set slowly got angry as they defended against the blast before she felt her floating become restricted holding her in place like ice rather than air. 1.(The moment Isamu began to speak she disappeared from sight) while not-Selyse launched a blast at where Set had been and the sand crushed the void. Crimson eyes narrowed as she became solid and dense 2.(before not-Selyse started to speak) and her fanged maw opened again launching another sonic blast from above them while her hands swiped down in a cross shape producing multiple streams of red light to pierce through them, three per enemy.

And the Sadojin behind you." As he spoke his arm extended pointing down to the earth. His hand was open as the sand coiled around her. He was ready to to close the fist and crush her as soon as she was restrained.

"This might hurt just a bit, Isamu, but trust that I will repay my debts." Ken gave up on Selyse's original plan to buff Isamu, now that they were in the midst of combat, and allowed his barrier to phase out as he lashed forward with the power of his soul which had been building during the wraith's sonic attack. Leaving no time to defend. Isamu pointed to where the wraith was underground and Ken cackled from behind his mask, dark blue light leaking out of his torso and bursting out in a 10 meter radius -- within range of Krystal's soul split, Isamu, and the entire interior of the Tenkai barrier. Ken's soul, in the form of a Blight Siphon, would seek to tear into all living creatures but the wraith in particular, and absorb back into Ken accordingly (70 ap). He trusted that the temporary armour points that Selyse had bestowed on their partner earlier would save Isamu from too much damage. After using this first technique to subdue the opponent, Ken would keep a watchful eye and begin a short series of handseals. Boost of the Sage, for Isamu and which he should have received earlier, would take very little time to perform.

"Hey its not nice to mark people like that if they aren't enemies." Krystal tilted her head looking to Z as he appeared on the girl's shoulder as she and the wraith flew down 50 meters, the wraith taking a position on Krystal to mirror the one Z had on Angie. "Or unless they're friends, like us."

"How do you honestly think we should do this? Because I know everyone here except sandman 2 and it feels awkward fighting you guys." Krystal asked quietly not really in the mood for this Fortnite shit while the wraith looked into Z's eyes tilting its head slowly almost unnervingly. The neko didn't really want to try to fight people she was close to plus the more she thought about she didn't know how mad she'd be if she beat someone or vice-versa.

[Skulking Shinzu]

The soul clone raised an eyebrow as the entourage of clay beings circled around both his and the Leaf Ninja’s position. Coupled together with the sigh and offering of the so-called ‘Jake’, the soul clone couldn’t help but smile. “I see.” Ever the skilful shapeshifter, the soul clone’s body remained stiff and unpredictable. Despite this, the subtle smile was easy enough to read and his aura seemed to give off a trusting feel with no malice or ill-intent. “You could have forced your clay creatures to dive bomb at the enemy. They trapped themselves within a barrier, so their unmoving location should have been easy enough to target… But I suppose you’re right.”

Shrugging, the soul clone took in the woman’s words. She seemed to have revealed herself as ‘Ay’ thanks to her habit of referring to herself in the third person. “Jake, huh? You Ninja love your strange and foreign names.” Seemingly oblivious, the soul clone reached out to take Jake, but stopped with his right-hand extended inches away from the clay monkey. Before continuing, the clone’s hand retreated to meet the other behind his head where he seemingly began to scratch the back of his neck [Sleight of Hand: 250]. “That thing doesn’t have fleas, right? I’m really allergic.” Ay wouldn’t realise unless she had a means of sensing the build-up of Chakra within the clone’s body or spotting the weaving movements obscured from view thanks to his unruly and spiky hair, but a technique had already been prepared and primed for release.

“You sure you’re not double-crossing me?” The clone spoke while raising and eyebrow. At that moment, an invisible attacker struck three of Ay’s falcons simultaneously. If successful, the cold breeze would deal 42 AP worth of damage to the falcons with a force capable of ripping apart their wings and forcing them to fall to the ground should they somehow survive the invisible strike. If observant, Ay would notice that the air around the duo was now notably colder than before. By this point, the soul clone would have innocently extended both his hands towards Jake as if to accept the gift should the monkey decide to leap into his palms. Despite the earlier ‘attack’, the aura surrounding the clone remained gentle and void of malice.

“What do you think Krystal, you say she’s not an enemy, but does that automatically make her a friend?” The clone smiled towards Krystal. It seemed as if he had taken his attention away from Ay, but no matter what, the clone never allowed the girl or her monkey to escape the corner of his vision. “We could nuke everything below us and score some points. How does that sound?” The clone winked at Krystal before his expression grew dark. “Assuming you can somehow point me in the direction of the so-called enemy. I’d rather not waste my Chakra, unless its to score a definitive blow.” The clone’s eyes shifted to Ay with a wink, as if to say that she should be doing the same. “Tell you what – why don’t you fight my new friend Ay? That’s a battle I’d love to see. You’ll probably have to dismiss your clone though Krystal… It would be unfair otherwise…” The clone spoke in a playful tone while pouting.

Practically feral, the eleven identical clones drooled, snarled and growled as their twin-heads continued observing all around them. Yis was confident that the foes left trapped in the snowstorm were freezing their asses off due to having had little to no reason to dress well enough to counter such freak weather. Not only was every moment spent inside the snowstorm detrimental to their health, it also left Yis with an advantage. If the Ninja exited the storm to face his multitude of creations, then they would be left outnumbered. If they stayed within the storm, then he’d hopefully gain points for forcing the Ninja into a situation where they had no choice but to cower and leave him alone. Either way, it was points galore for the Kedoin – which is all that really mattered to him at this stage. In an exam, demonstrating the ability to avoid conflict through intimidation was likely just as important as combat ability itself.

Chakra swirled around Ken's body. A soft, white light was beginning to form around all of his hands (Unknown Technique A). His red pupil continued to trace out the situation. It wasn't a good one, but if they could eliminate the wraith here then it could be worth it. For now he had to look for the opening. Ken formed another short set of handseals with his lower arms, and the spear (Bitter Mercy) in his upper, right hand began to crackle with an eerie, purple light (Unknown Technique B). He assessed their options.

3. "The blizzard will keep them off of us for a bit," Ken finally said, "but not long. I don't know how to get out of this snowstorm, ninjutsu isn't my forte. But if you can get us out of this situation and close to one of the opponents, I'm sure I could beat them down." He hated feeling powerless. Like he felt right now. But he knew the art of patience was a virtue and held on to his focus.

Ken speaks twice. If the attack is triggered by the first, the blight siphon or blast Wolfy describes could not have happened yet. The exams are over but since we are being judged, and Wolfy shared his account, I wanted to do the same. If anyone has questions about the exam and what is happening or intentions I would encourage you to reach out to the post’s author. We all put a lot of thought into it and have read the thread many times.

In a flask before the last hits connected a bright light appeared from the middle of the arena. Every contestant disappeared in the bright light to appear in the bar. The combat was over.

A strange feeling came over Isamu and he wheeled about looking for a threat. Isamu cast his eyes around for the new threat. Failing to find the cause his anxiety began to rise kicking him to cast about more frantically for a cause. Then he felt the familiar tug at his stomach and a bright light emanated from the center of the arena rushing through the thick snow. The light reached Isamu and he disappeared in a flash.
