The male knitted his brows. Both of the guys were talking so lowly that he could not hear them. 'Maybe I should keep myself moving a little bit. My legs are aching' noticed Minoru. He pulled a face as he leaned towards the tree trunk.

Being taller than average was not fun when you tried to hide. His byakugan scanned the area behind him. There were no bugs, birds or wild animals there. The young man bent his legs in a gradual motion. His torso slid down the birch tree behind him.

Next was to stretch the legs a little. The Chuunin bent his torso forwards while grabbing onto his kneecaps. Suddenly, he heard the sound of flapping wings. Said sound came from the right. The male used his byakugan to see what it was.

Six meters on his right sat a turquoise cheeked conure. The parrot tilted its head and looked at him. "Ssssh" whispered the black-haired guy. He knew how intelligent birds could be. Parrots in particular were notorious for being clever little rascals.

The bird started to bob its head. The young man kept stretching while keeping silent. Any sudden movements or noises would scare the conure. Furthermore, the birch tree could only provide certain coverage. He inhaled some air with his nose while exhaling with his mouth.

'Right. Time to get up!' decided Minoru. He carefully bent his legs as he got up. The bird blinked while it looked at the human. How could someone that big move so quietly?

When the user first learns this technique, the user trains it as a regular “C” Rank jutsu. Each additional training allows the user to use the X-Ray ability for an additional 10 meters. For every 50 meters, the user trains an additional + 10 training points added to their previous training. Emi was a little surprised that his friend had still not been using chakra strings to make his techniques. There was a faint memory that they had been having that conversation before, but the fact that the most advanced jutsus that Emi had developed were in par with Zuruel's will power. So he decided to finally make an explanation to his friend, to make him understand how the Hoshigaki saw chakra. The Hoshigaki then drew a couple of his crimson rain senbons out of his robe and grabbed one of them in a firm grip. To make the explanation double successful, he decided that he wanted to slow the uninvited person down. So he took aim a few meters in front of the person sneaking in on them and picked a tree that would be suitable for his description.

Imagine a fairly small river, rushing through a forest with no real end. It goes constantly in the same direction.

As he finished off the last two words, Emi moved his hand back before launching the senbon into the tree a few dozen meters away. He then took his time to do another five throws as an indicator that the senbons were representing the direction and flow of the river. All of the projectiles had different targets on the tree, not so much for the display, but because Emi had them slowly get closer to the uninvited guest.

If we were to try forcing it into shapes, it would inherently crash apart and make a mess. Why? because the properties of the water hasn't been manipulated to do what the shapes needs it to be. So if we need a statue, we could take a small amount of the water and have it make a very strong base, another amount could make a lighter colored ice. Every part that needs a different property has to be forced that way.

While explaining how he would make the statue out of the water, Emi threw more and more senbons into the tree, making the shape into a basic statue. It wasn't very fancy and one had to have some imagination to even be able to see it against such a dark background. But his aim was flawless and had even hit the weaker points of the bark to make a perfect penetration to go in exactly where he wanted it to be. He did however feel that the speed of which he was throwing them were too slow, during combat that opponent could very well be moving away or hide as he was only aiming.

So with flowing chakra, the basic form of jutsu is to manipulate the chakra into strings of different qualities and then merge them into an effect. For example.

The Hoshigaki began to very slowly perform handseals.

Water, which is represented by the property of chaotic serenity gives of the handseal of such. This one means durability, and is therefor used in a lot of defensive techniques.

He showed a handseal extra clearly.

Then we only need to add in a string with the properties to keep the water still and then a string to grant it a basic shape.

As he finished the handseals, a wall of water appeared a few meters away from the chairs and fireplace.

When all of those chakra strings of properties are made into a weave, one can use as much or little chakra as needed to grant it a bigger effect. All of the chakra within the structure now knows how to flow to remain the effect granted by the properties.

Emi then called for the senbons in the tree and launched them at the wall instead, which displayed that the structure maintained its shape despite the attacks.

The more advanced technique, the more diverse does one have to weave the web of chakra to accommodate for all of the attributes one needs it to act on.

Zuruel blinked at Emi’s explanation. It all seemed complex. However, he understood the analogy about strings and weaving. At least, he thought he did. Focusing intently, the strings of gum let go of whatever they were latched onto thanks to a pulse of Chakra inscribed with instructions for forcing the stickiness of the gum to drastically decrease.

Once this was done, Zuruel sent another quick pulse to force the strings back into the wad. Somehow, one string had missed. It wasn’t his aim or even external factors such as the wind. Rather than blasting out with as much force as the other tendrils, the fifth just seemed to have no real force behind it. Perhaps he needed to slow down and get used to using fewer tendrils first.

“Hm. Maybe everyone is different? I just directly infuse my Chakra with my thoughts, let loose, then bam. Something wonderful happens.”

The water wall appeared to have the senbons move quite strangely within its body, which he suspected was due to the small current within it. Since he hadn't added that current into the wall himself, he got curious of why it was even in there. So as the senbons floated around in there, he followed their path and tried to notice any pattern to it. But as the senbons appeared to be going in different directions, he was unable to see how that even happened. So when most of them had gone around in it for a little over seven laps, Emi pulled them out of the wall and held them in his hand again. He doubted that there were any other force that were affecting them than what was inside the wall as they weren't magnetic and there were no chakra attached to them.

Well, the way a person does it doesnt change the fashion of how techniques are build. If the will is strong, it could force the chakra to create the properties without knowing how it managed it. But what you have in that gum is like making the statue of water stand with no changes in its properties or added support, hence why it intrigued me.

Emi dried off the water from the senbons and made sure that the projectiles still were as straight as they needed to be for perfect precision. After a quick spin around in his hand to test the balance, the jonin then launched it back towards the wall. As he wanted to test how the streams worked, he made sure that all of the senbons would hit the target at the exact same area. But that wouldn't be enough to figure out the path, since it appeared to change from second to second. So he made sure to throw them in a rapid succession so that he could see when and where the change would occur. Sadly when Emi swiftly threw the senbons, he noticed that he had lost some of his focus and missed the point he was aiming for.

It was a long time since he had been unable to hit the exact location that he wanted to hit, making him feel concerned for his aim. So he took a deep breath and carefully estimated the distance he had between himself and the wall. It was slightly awkward measurement as it was about 17.2 meters from where he sat. That made him believe that it was the cause of why he had missed, mostly one would want even meter numbers to have a perfect throw, making the wall right in between two calculations. But as he knew that he couldn't limit himself to the easiest measurements, he remained seated and tried to estimate how he would need to handle the distance. Before he had thought too much into it, Emi launched another set of senbons swiftly after each other onto the same target. That time it went a lot better and he was able to get all of the senbons fast enough to start seeing a pattern.

The male had just decided which route he would take. It was a route that looked like a curve. This curve would lead him away from the bugs at the forest floor. Furthermore, the route was a safe distance from twigs. Every Konoha shinobi knew that trees could be friends or enemies when hiding.

Minoru started jogging at first. He remained quiet as he inhaled the air his muscles needed. Loud breathing was noisy and rather creepy after all. Pale purple eyes looked behind or ahead with regular intervals. The young man ducked his head in order to not brush against a small branch.

'Let's see how well I can do this' decided the Chuunin. He started weaving between some trees in front of him. Having long limbs could be a hassle when you moved quickly. Especially if the ground was slippy. The latter had thrown off his balance several times.

The familiar bird from earlier kept looking at him. He noticed that the human spun in a half-circle to get around a tree. It was the first time the animal had seen a human do that. 'Whoa. That was a close one' thought the male with a smile on his face.

He continued with his jog after making sure he was all right. The only trace of the near fall was some mud on his sandals. The black-haired guy started to run as he approached the trees. He ran at the edges of the trees to get the cover from the leaves. However, the chances of stepping onto roots or twigs was low.

The young man reached a large birch tree. He smiled as he leaned against the trunk. 'Done! I think this is a-'. "He-llo" greeted a voice above him.

“Noisy birds.” Zuruel glanced around to see if he could spot one of them before focusing his attention back on his wad of gum. Perhaps Emi was right. How exactly did it work again? Zuruel focused on creating a string of Chakra in his mind’s eye. He then thought about the properties of the Bungee gum, such as its elastic and sticky state.

Once these thoughts were fresh in his mind and he had drowned out all else, Zuruel allowed the Chakra string to absorb any connotations the thought held before allowing the string to flow down his arm. Widening a singular external Tenketsu node on his index finger, he allowed the string to escape and pierce into the gum.

“Next is… Weaving right?” As if the Chakra string were being manipulated by some sort of invisible needle, Zuruel began weaving the string into the gum to ensure the strings properties were evenly distributed throughout the game. “Am I doing this right? It feels like it would be quicker just to send a pulse of Chakra into the gum.” Zuruel couldn’t quite recall if he had followed Emi’s steps correctly.

If the user is successful, the opponent takes normal damage from the ranged weapon and they must make a GenJutsu Save (This technique is not a GenJutsu however uses the same rules as GenJutsu) of 15 + 2 per Class Level or be inflicted with the staggered condition. This condition lasts for 1 round per 4 per Class Level of the user, or until the user makes an Escape Artist with a check equal to 5 x Save. An opponent that makes a successful save is immune to the effect of the Hindering Throw for 24 hours.

It annoyed the Hoshigaki that the stalking one was still not making his presence known and tried to move back and forth behind stuff. What made him think that he could still hide from the group? The projectiles that was send towards him didn't seem to affect him at all, making Emi believe that he might just have to become aggressive if he approached them further. So he thought of what limits he would have to put on the uninvited one, to keep him far enough from them to not be a risk. Since he knew that he would be able to hit a vital spot from approximately 20 meters, he suspected that it would have to be the absolute closest. Because even though they were all aware of the sneaking ones presence, Emi didn't want him to have the chance to make something unexpected, like launching a grenade.

It is faster, and if you find it easier to do, then that's the way you do it. But to know how chakra techniques are made could make it simpler to make details and add properties one normally can't express with ones emotions.

So he decided that he would have to hinder the motions from getting any closer with as hostile effects as possible, since the one approaching didn't care for any discrete warning. The most useful would most likely be to just make an actual attack towards him, which could even take him out. But as Emi still hadn't figured out what kind of person it was that was trying to get closer to them, he didn't want to become lethal. So the second best option was to just capture the person sneaking around with some ranged attack to avoid standing up from the chairs. Since he already did have his senbons in his hand, he figured that it would be easier to just use them instead of channeling chakra to capture him. He looked down on his senbons and realized that they weren't very optimal for capturing someone as their hit surface was small and they didn't have any hooks.

That had him wonder if it would be worth it to just bend the back end of the senbons to be able to nail the intruder. It certainly would make them far better for that purpose, but as he thought about it he realized that they would be pretty much impossible to throw. Even if he would reach the target he still doubted that he would have it able to hit the spot he aimed at. So he decided that he would need to handle the angle it hit in unless he went for one of the muscles. As he didn't want to hurt anyone, he imagined how to stick someone to a tree with angled nails. After a few seconds of considerations, he came to the conclusion that as long as he would be able to hit at least three of them in a good spot with angles away from the others, he could stick it perfectly to something in the background.

“It isn’t always emotion. You’re right in the fact that not everything can be expressed with emotion. Sometimes, it’s imagery and intent that I rely on.” Zuruel pointed the wad of gum at a flower around 20 meters away. Shutting his eyes, he allowed his either senses such as hearing and scent to guide his index finger just a she released a pulse of Chakra.

Upon being absorbed, the pink gum began twitching and moving as the material took in the Chakra instructions. Once triggered, a single tendril of pink blasted out and whizzed through the air before splitting in two. Upon hitting the target, the first tendril latched itself onto the bud of the flower, while the other tendril latched onto the stem.

The maximize the power of the restraint, he would need to hit the clothes as close to the body as possibly. That was however very difficult to do as that meant that any change in the speed the opponent moved in would mean that he would either hit the body or give too much cloth. The latter meant that the opponent would be able to get quite a lot of momentum before the complete stop would affect that bodypart, meaning that it would most likely break. But in which direction would be the least bad, he wondered as he looked on his own garments and imagined how he would need to aim. After some considerations, Emi decided that he rather hit the body than to have the opponent have a chance to get away. That was fairly brutal way of making someone restrained, but as a ninja he would need to accept the possibility that non lethal damage could be needed.

Doesn't that limit you to a state of being? With deep knowledge of how things work, one could force it out with precise manipulations regarding how ones state of mind is.

It was quite interesting that they were still sitting there by the table of the kazekage and just discussed how they handled chakra, while the one making the barbecue happen didn't even join. Emi glanced over to the host, but after seeing that there were no emotions or focus on the present, he imagined that she was thinking back to her village. So Emi returned to what he himself had been focusing on, on how he would've wanted to nail himself to a wall. As the angle of the nails were extremely important, Emi began to place them on different locations and lean them while considering the effect of it. To avoid his friend noticing that, he made sure to use his sleight of hand to keep it discrete. But he found it very useful to try it out and when he finally penetrated his robe and tried out the angels resistances, he quickly made progress.

He found that the most effective locations were behind the legs, arms and the back, which he also figured would be easier targets to hit. Because even though they were affected by the movements of the body, the wind usually took them and made the area that one could hit much larger. To get the angles he wanted he did however need to throw in a strange manner, as he had to get as wide throw as possible. But then he realized how he wanted to do it, if he had fairly small differences but had them make a cross, it would be really hard to remove. The Hoshigaki thought through a couple of scenarios but came to the conclusion that there were no real downside of making the cross, as long as made sure to land both senbons in a rapid succession and made more crosses across the body. When he had come to that conclusion, he nailed his own robe with the technique and tried to pull himself loose.

The male used his byakugan to locate the owner of the voice. 'Phew. It's only the bird from earlier' observed Minoru. Next, he straightened himself up. It was time to get in hiding.

'I need to stand sideways this time. The trunk is a bit narrow. Furthermore, this tree has more branches to hide under. Let's see how this goes' decided the young man. He stretched his body first in order to prepare himself.

He leaned his right shoulder on the trunk before he shifted his feet. This gave the Chuunin a comfortable position. The bare ground meant that nobody could hear him. The male looked at the group with his byakugan. His head barely peeked out from the tree trunk.

'Looks like they are about 70 meters away from me now. However, I need to be careful. That guy with the large chakra pool got insane muscle fibers! He could probably break my back or skull easily' noticed the male. He kept breathing with his nose while remaining motionless - for now.

Description: Duration is 5 mins per Class Level. Range is 30 meters +15 per Class level. Once it leaves that Caster's range, it will fall apart. The most Terrifying of the Yokushin's Epic Candy Creatures. Spiting a piece of gum out onto the ground, it begins to grow and take shape. The substance can literally become any creature within the user’s imagination. Creature Size is Medium at B Class, can be made +1 Size Catergory per Class Level after B. This creation is linked mentally, having movements equal to 1 per Class level, but can perform independently of Creator. They have full control over their body. Unlike other Candy creatures it does not concern itself with dealing direct damage. However it is incredibly difficult to kill. It's durability is based on Bungee Gum, and it can perform all of the Bungee Gum related techniques, using it's body directly(Ex. Bungee Rebound can be performed with it's torso), that the user can perform. While it's durability is based on Bungee Gum, it can regenerate completely in almost state. If there is even a bit of the creature remaining, it will fully recover using all its movements. Cannot recover from Damage suffered from "Devil's Candy - Combat Cross".

“You seem distracted Emi.” Zuruel raised an eyebrow as he flicked away his wad of gum and opened a fresh packet to chew on. As he chewed away and began mixing his saliva with the gum, Zuruel careful took in Emi’s words. His blue companion was right in the fact that limiting himself to certain mental states while manipulating Jutsu wasn’t always ideal.

Seeing how this was a likely contributing factor to being so susceptible to Genjutsu, Zuruel decided to give Emi’s method of Chakra manipulation another go. Unfortunately, his companion seemed too distracted by something to be able to give any instructions or a recap of the previous explanation. Deciding to go about it alone, Zuruel relaxed his body.

It wasn’t much, but this act of relaxing himself caused more trace amounts of Chakra to leak into his saliva. By extension, this caused the Bungee gum to drain away the available Chakra sauce. At that moment, the flavour of the gum seemed to double in intensity. Other than the obvious benefits to the taste, Zuruel began to wonder if this was a cleverly devised mechanism that allowed him to know when the gum had become sufficiently infused with enough Chakra.

'Let's see what kind of routes I have here. After all, I'm in a foreign nation. Chances are that the natives know this place better than me' realized the male. His byakugan quickly figured out the best escape route for his current position. It was the north-western route into the forest.

Minoru felt his blood turn cold when his byakugan saw something 20 meters south. That "something" was a full-grown jaguar!!! 'I better scale the tree. There is NO WAY I can outrun a jaguar!' realized the young man. He sent a decent amount of chakra to his feet first.

Next, the Chuunin planted his right foot on the trunk. The male started to scale the tree while he kept an eye on the feline. It was not moving towards him - for now. The black-haired guy tried to move fast, yet quietly. He knew that felines had better vision plus smell than humans.

Effect: An jutsu when activating allows the user the ability to constantly see chakra.

Drawback: May learn at a maximum of 5 times.
Description: An eye jutsu for the Hyūga clan. When activating the user's eyes dilate in the same white colour as veins bulge out of the corner of the eyes. The user can activate this technique as a “C” Rank technique taking up hand seals. The user is able to see through and thus ignore lighter forms of concealment, such as smoke or mist. The user may concentrate for an amount of hand seals equal to a “C” Rank technique while their byakugan is active to gain the see chakra and see through chakra effects for as long as the user concentrates and their byakugan remains active. Deactivating this ability takes up no movements. When the user learns this technique the first two times, they train it as a regular “C” Rank jutsu. When the user learns this technique the second two times, they train it as a “C” Rank jutsu +10 training points. When the user learns this technique the last time, they train it as a “C” Rank jutsu +20 training points.
Limit: Must be in the Hyūga clan.

Effect: The user is able to see much further than normal and access an X-Ray ability.
Special: ---
Drawback: Must have the byakugan active. May learn up to ∞ times.
Description: When concentrating to see through chakra, the character can also spend time equal to hand seals to gain the ability to see through objects with X-ray like vision up to 10 meters from the user. This does not impede the user's line of sight and the distance a user can normally see, however they simply will not be able to use the X-ray ability beyond 10 meters. When the user first learns this technique, the user trains it as a regular “C” Rank jutsu. Each additional training allows the user to use the X-Ray ability for an additional 10 meters. For every 50 meters, the user trains an additional + 10 training points added to their previous training. The user also suffers a penalty to observation checks every 15 meters instead of every 3 meters. If user loses an eye (has 1 eye) telescopic eye is reduced by 50%. Future learning also reduces distance by 50%.

Zuruel raised an eyebrow as his enhanced sense of hearing caught the rustling of leaves many meters away. A pulse of sonar released by clicking his tongue suggested to him that the size could not correlate to any human. It appeared to be some sort of large cat. Given the geographical location of the area, most likely a jaguar. Either way, Zuruel continued chewing his gum peacefully. It was too far away to warrant much notice.

After some degree of chewing, Zuruel noted that the gum’s flavour had triple in intensity compared to what it had started off as. A curious trait, considering the fact that most candy tended to lose flavour over time rather than gain. He could only assume that he had been right about his earlier theory. The gum seemed to be utilising his Chakra to enhance its sugar content.

Why though? What use was a piece of candy that could convert Chakra into sugar. Pondering, Zuruel realised that the answer was within the depths of his own body. After all, energy was really nothing more than glucose. Sugar – in its purest and most readily available form. Zuruel began to theorise that if the gum couldn’t store raw Chakra, it would simply be more efficient to convert Chakra into sugar and then store that.

But as Emi began to ponder ałl of his possibilities, he realized that despite how fast he would throw them, the opponent would still move enough to make it useless. So he figured that he would need to throw them both at the same time, which something he had only tried and failed at. So he wondered if it was theoretically possible to aim while having two different angles or even paths to keep track of. His hand instantly began to play around with two of his projectile, trying to find a state that would both safe and promising. He could feel the familiar sting of him accidentally having one of them getting pushed into his hand. A small stream of blood ran down and slowly dripped down on the ground, leaving a tasty smell behind. Emi then had to pull it out with other hand and as the wound began to close Emi raised the bloody hand and licked the crimson away.

It just bothers me that it feels like something is up, and that one sneaking around like we cant see him...

Emi then pointed towards the ninja moving around before throwing the bloody senbon at a tree in the direction. The motions was like thousands other he had done in his years, but he still found it importqnt to overexaggerate the motion so he could see if there would even be possible to add one more. What he found was that if he placed enought space in between the two projectiles, he could deal with them seperately while still using the same force. He did however understand that it would require a lot of practice as his fingers werent even that disciplined. But as he wasnt the one to back down to challenges he decided that he would practice until he had mastered it. So he began by placing the senbons in his hand like he suspected it would have to be at the end.

As she is dreaming away, mind doing some training? My muscles are getting restless.

He said while nodding towards the kazekage and showed that he was prepared to get up from the chair. The grip on the senbons felt both uncomfortable and was constantly moving around, forcing him to move them back into position. After the third time it had moved, Emi decided to see where they naturally would land, which he quickly regretted as they fell to the ground. He groaned and squinted as he leaned down and picked them up before he stood up from his chair and moved out to a better spot. He then moved them back in place before making a swift attempt to throw them at the fallen tree. It went horrendous and the senbons barely reached half the distance, which Emi felt was kind of embarrassing. But he quickly called for them and placed them in a better grip.
