"Perhaps it is best not to antagonize our humble hulking brute here...if you'll excuse me..." Eien's knees were clacking together childishly with fear but quick steps carried him behind one of the massive stones the giant tossed about so casually. He hid from the others, careful not to exit too far from the monstrosity's range of vision. Why was his technique being ignored by the giant? He focused more genjutsu into formulating the mental image of his coat. He sent the chakra rushing forth, hoping to completely ensnare the beasts senses before it thought of attacking him as well.
There was a chance the brute did not know what a coat was, and therefore could gather nothing from the image of it. But the pale man! Eien's eyes narrowed with sinister intention, a smirk deforming him, chakra flaring and calling to the pattern perception with greater ease. Once more, he thought of his coat, taking the tiniest of steps from behind the stone's cover and edging towards the pale man and the young boy. As the two discussed something unheard, Eien wiggled his fingers with impatience and tried again to implant his disastrous image. It was laced with chakra and sent towards the pale man just as the brute lashed out in attack. He formed each button, each stitch, each sweep of fabric perfectly in his mind. He allowed the image to latch onto his chakra, infusing it within a pattern that could be easily transmitted to another.
He pointed dramatically at the man, attempting to bait him into staring at and entrapping himself in the enchanting folds of cloth. The projected image seemed to fizzle out before hurtling across the empty space separating them. It sought to tether itself to the pale man's mind. Look at my damn coat you albino freak. Precious seconds would have to pass before he could admire his handiwork. Had the advanced genjutsu finally taken root?
