Shoko was intrigued. He expected the giant animal to retaliate in some way and was more than prepared for a collision on both sides, however what he did not expect was the fur of said creature to be so shadowy, so... incorporeal. Two sets of his arms failed to strike home as a result of slipping over the beast's shadowy hide. However, a pair of fists did strike true. Despite the force and overwhelming damage behind the boy's fists, the animal's paw carried similar if not greater momentum with the added bonus of a knockback that Shoko was not able to withstand in the air.
Nonetheless the beast would feel the force of Shoko's mastery of two layers on its paw, that would bypass a nice chunk of its damage reduction and hardness if it had any as well as do significant damage to even the large creature. Unfortunately for Shoko, he would also feel his opponent's kinetic energy being transferred to him in raw damage as he was sent flying sixty metres away from the beast. It was an awe-inspiring yet somehow comedic sight to any onlookers watching the battle; a six-armed boy leaping across the sky to punch a flying dog, only to be sent flying several metres back from whence he came.
As Shoko flew through the air he noticed something about the encounter just then. The animal refused to take any complex movements, opting to gather up its energy for a single power attack instead. It was a concept Shoko was unfamiliar with, being involved in martial-arts styles that taught one to strike as many times as possible, trading power for speed and flexibility. Shoko had now seen its use and was eager to get to try something similar. But he noticed while the air-pressure curled and wrapped around his flailing arms during his flight, he noticed that two of them... were broken. Specifically the pair that was involved in the collision with the beast. This was a solemn development for Shoko.
The eyes of Shoko's clones were never on Loki in the first place, only on her mirror images as she moved between their shadows. However once she stopped moving through their shadows and leapt high into the air, the clones wouldn't fail to notice her and instantly concluded that she was the original; knowing that the mirror images were simply diversions for her. Four of them mirrored Loki's actions of jumping, following her trajectory and not more than five metres behind her. One of them shot a net of webbing from one of its hands that would reach Loki as she she raised her weapon to shoot behind herself. She did not know the clones were behind her nor was she aware of the webbing attack, as she was facing towards the beast. Even if she could shoot accurately behind her, the first shot would be caught on the webbing adjacent to her and would detonate immediately. The fifteen metre explosion would engulf both parties, the clones disappearing in its blinding light. Loki would take damage from her own explosive projectile, incurring whatever effects she had programmed into it.
Meanwhile the original Shoko flying through the air caught sight of Loki just as the explosion went off and engulfed her. At that point in time, he would be in its approaching range and as it neared him, Shoko's soul took over. Time froze for a bit, allowing his soul to move upwards thirty metres away from the explosion, before resuming as the boy's body was instantaneously snapped to his soul's new location. Now carrying the same momentum and sailing over the explosion, Shoko would eventually come to the end of his flight sixty metres away from his initial collision. This would be ten metres away from the spot in which he initially jumped to attack the beast. Upon approaching the ground, Shoko calmed his heavy breathing before breaking into a front roll as he hit the floor. His roll would nullify any and all damage he might have incurred by the collision with the ground. Getting up immediately, the boy winced as his two broken arms reminded him of their presence. Shoko's body once again kicked into its regenerative state and active self-healing to try and mend the broken bone as well other damage incurred. He boy would watch to see if the flying beast continued its approach, a sinking feeling in his gut.
