Description: Picture Also known as Displacae-Felinus or Illusion Cat. This vaguely puma like creature is bluish black, its tentacles are dead black, the horny edges of its tentacles are brownish yellow and its eyes glow a hellish green. This Beast's molecular vibrations make it appear to be 2 meters from where it actually is, in a random direction. Displacer Beasts instinctually hate all Blink Dogs and will attack them on sight. They are easily angered, and especially dislike any creature with a canine appearance or odor. Displacer Beasts are nearly always encountered fully grown and in complete control. Should a Displacer Beast ever mate with a Confusion Beast the result would most likely be a Disfusion Beast (catlike creature with the Confusion Beast's club tail and the Displacer Power) or a Conplacement Beast (another catlike creature with the Displacer Beast's tentacles and the Confusion Power). Other combinations are indeed possible, but best left to the pondering of sages.
Yields: The 2 Tentacles of a Displacer Beast are covered in sharp spikes, and could be used in the construction whip like weapons (Chain (Overview)). Each tentacle is 3 meters in length. Displacer Beasts can be made into leather. The Hide of a Displacer Beast can be used for a Cloak of Displacement. Hardness: 4; Armour Points/Inch: 10; Armour Class: -4. Displacer Beast produces 8,000 Ryo of Hide material cost for items. Apparel and other items cost normal price (+20% for Material Cost). Armour items cost 1/4 normal price.

She quickly made he way into the forest as she began to stealthy search the area where she last heard reports of one being near by. She stuck to the shadows not wanting to alert the beast to her presence. She wanted to make sure she got rid of it as quickly and cleanly as possible.
