How does this technique interact with these new skills?
Can you select a skill suite to receive a +1 per roll?

Per Loki eccentric specialist cannot be applied to skill suites, so unless disputed by 👺 Usiel that is the ruling on the matter

Actually it depends. I'm looking at eccentric specialist right now. You pick 2 skills right? Well if you choose 2 skills that are in skill suite, and there are only 2 skills in that skill suite I can see it working. Remember though a Skill Suite isn't necessarily a skill. It's just a way of learning the other skills quickly.

But like Athletics has 2 skills Jump Good and Swim Good. I can see eccentric specialist being used with that, same with Awareness, and Farmer

Okay, and at the time of their introduction I was told that books and the like that give a +1 per time of learning to a skill would also apply to a skill suite. Is this correct?

I.e. one of the loremaster books gives a +1 to observation

If it's to the individual skill and nothing else no.
