The land of Earth is unforgiving. Rock cliffs emptying into nowhere deform the land, canyons burrow beneath the old loam, stonework belonging to a thousand different cultures has been arranged like puzzle pieces, gripping at each other for desperate coherence. In what looks like a wide open valley of more dried cracks than plain Earth, a gathering crowds in a group of men and women who share a peculiar familial bond. They surround a collection of young adults who can scarcely be seen, so congested is the bulk of those who stand and watch. Some of the observers hold what look like leashes leading to small pets, but what are on closer inspection doll like protuberances of clay given false life.

You know this place, don't you? It is one of the many warrens of the Toujitakumi tribe. A half-toppled blight of mesas spread into the ruin, onto the boulder-scape of Tsuchi No Kuni.

There is an immense explosion that thunders apart the base land, makes those watching back up and scream or cheer faithfully. Even from the promontory overlook 38 meters away, the distance you have chosen to stand, you can smell the blood and the burning. The scent of scorched clay. The thrill of true art.

But did you wish to participate? Foolish girl, you must get closer to do so. You must join the inner ring of youth over which a few solemn elders conduct their bizarre rituals. You must survive the others who wish to be blessed with the miracle of your heritage.

Another explosion. Another dead Toujitakumi. More blood.

Angela looked around as she found herself in an open wide valley amongst a large crowd of onlookers. It was uncertain as to why this place felt familiar at the moment. Maybe she had been here during her younger years? That didn't matter though since the only thing occupying her mind was obtaining what she came here for. Her hazel eyes went high and low, scanning the people and surrounding thoroughly. The clay minions connected to some of the watchers' palms and loud explosions informed the girl she was exactly where she needed to be.

Expecting her final task to be harder than the previous one, she came fully prepared and dressed for battle. Her long, sexy legs were hidden underneath a pair of green military pants secured to her hips by a green buckle belt, her feet protected by matching combat boots. On her upper body she had on nothing but a black sleeveless shirt. Her snow white hair was tied back in a high ponytail to avoid any unnecessary distractions. The leaf symbol that she usually carried around with her was not on her person on this day since this had nothing to do with the Leaf, also she didn't want to be targeted for serving a foreign village.

On either sides of her upper thigh she wore a rectangular shaped clay pouch. Although these two pouches looked exactly alike they were of varying sizes; the one on her right thigh held 40 slots of vanilla flavoured clay, and the one on the left 30 slots of spicy bean flavour. Clay wasn't the only weapon she brought with her, she had 30 hira shuriken, 30 bo shuriken, and 10 kunai, all of which were hidden inside a buttbag resting on her right butt, clung to her belt. In her right hand she held a pair of googles with anti-flash lenses.

Another explosion occurred, this one more powerful than the previous, driving the crowd wild. Squeezing herself between the multitude of onlookers she made it to the front row and tried to make out what the commotion was about. Her eyes could barely see what was taking place in front them but her other senses could. Angy's blood boiled with excitement when the scent of blood and burned clay permeated her nostrils. After protecting her eyes behind her googles, she made her way forward with each hand resting on the clay pouch on her thigh, ready to unzip and ingest the substance inside. She'd make her approach to the ring of youth slow and steady with an eye out for any sign of danger.

There is no need to be paranoid here; this is your clan. As they see you near the encircled fighting youth, elders and those watching and those only interested in gambling on the outcome and children dragged to witness by their parents all push you gently towards the fighting ring. "We've got another one!" Some of them yell, the others clearing a small path before you. Some of the males fondle you as you pass them, feeling your legs and touching your chest and stomach, the nape of your neck, stroking your hair and forcing their bodies against yours briefly enough and in such quick succession that you cannot pinpoint where the touches exactly originate. Some openly mock your fragility; they have little hope that a female will survive the trials. A teenage Toujitakumi licks his lips as he stares and he pushes your rear end with finality into the ring, stating that he would like to have his way with whatever parts of you aren't blown off after your trial, with a laugh.

The inner circle holds five Toujitakumi youth, one female, four male. The female is missing her left hand and her right foot. The four males are holding her down, taking turns chewing bits of clay, infusing them with chakra, and placing them into various openings of the females light leather armor. Her wounds have been cauterized by the intense heat. As one of the males turns to look at you, another makes the telltale handseals for 'Katsu' and guffaws loudly. The female's head explodes as a piece of clay tucked near her collar detonates fiercely.

The males stand and stare at you now, smiling. Hands reach into various pockets, palming globs of clay. One of them; with red hair and standing shorter than the others, waltzes forward, and the others allow him to without stopping his advance.

"Should we tell her the rules?"

"Nah, let her figure it out."

"C'mon baby, you want this to go easy, right?"

"We'll give you a way out."

"One way only."

"Let us have some fun..."

"...and we'll definitely give you an extra mouth..."

"...A new big hole..."

"...to match your other ones..."

As they speak, they have slowly positioned themselves to surround you. The crowd loves their taunts and cheers for your demise, screaming out the obscene acts they wish to see the young men perform on you. The headless corpse of your predecessor is dragged off by a member of the crowd, who has begun to strip off the leather armor, stroking the body beneath it roughly, until it is dragged out of sight completely.

They await your reply, but perhaps you know that what they are planning does not require a response from you at all.

Continuing her journey towards the ring, Angy looked ahead ignoring the many hands that fondled her and mean comments made about her. She had only one goal in mind, and wasn't about to let the savage fools she called her clansmen distract her from that goal. A push from behind landed her in the ring where a group of four males appeared to be ganging up on a single girl. She felt absolutely no emotion towards the girl, but seeing her get ganged up on and toyed with because she was of a different gender infuriated her. Knowing the males would make her their next play thing after they were done with their current toy, Angy dug both palms inside her pouches, consuming a number of clay slots in each palmmouth.

Giving all four males a cold stare, she quietly chewed infusing chakra into each clay piece simultaneously. After finishing off their victim, the males stared at Angy with smiles on their faces before addressing her. She gazed at each one of them carefully without blinking, not really paying attention to what they had to say. As they move to surround her, Angy quickly split her energy in half creating a soul clone, which positioned itself behind her staring in the opposite direction. Without warning the original extended out her right hand, releasing a soft blue light that would travel up to a distance of 20 meters towards one of the boys that was in front of her, and give him the feeling of having a heart attack.

Whether her first attack connected or not, she would vomit out clay from her left mouth into palm, quickly squeeze it into the shape of an eagle before hurling it into the air while holding the handseal for katsu. In a puff of smoke the eagle enlarged before flying like a missile towards the same male she had launched her first attack on. If allowed to get as close as 5 meters from the male, the girl would detonate it using the same seal from before. The explosion would release intense heat from its blast, burning anyone within a 10 meters radius. Although her attacks were aimed at a single opponent, she kept watched of both males within her field of view, trusting her soul clone to guard her against the 2 behind her.

A pair of white feathers wings grew upon the soul clone's back as it silently observed two of the enemies.

Drawback: ---Description: Starting at "D" Class a Soulcaster can assault the soul of another. This attack is a 15 meter ray of soft blue light. The user attacks one person by extending their arm out. This attack hits the insides of the user, affects their very life force. At first it doesn't cause much damage however the higher the more the user learns the deadlier the technique becomes. The attack leaves no physical damage, but creates internal damage against the user's life line. People said it feels like having a heart attack while having lost of breathe. Each time learned the user is capable of shooting this technique 5 meters extra. Technique may travel 10 meters per second plus 5 meters per Class Level. After 50 meters user must train an extra 10 TP per tech - TP Does not go down by Class Level. Searing Soul does an extra 5 Armour Points of Damage. After 100 meters user must train an extra 10 TP per tech - TP Does not go down by Class Level. Searing Soul does an extra 5 Armour Points of Damage. After 150 meters user must train an extra 10 TP per tech - TP Does not go down by Class Level. Searing Soul does an extra 5 Armour Points of Damage.Cap of this technique is 200 meters. Capping increases damage by an extra 5 Armour Points. If the target is undead, the Soulcaster assaults the tethers that bind the body to the material plane, inflicting half the damage instead. This attack has no effect on constructs.

This clay creation moves about, fulfilling the users desires. Upon command, this clay creature will explode, releasing intense heat from its blast. This explosion reacts violently with the air, allowing for a special combustion, which emit more heat then normal. This explosion covers a 10 meter radius, and can cause anywhere from 2nd and 3rd degree burns (depending on how close you are). Anything past 10 meters, receives intense heat that singes clothing, hair and most like leave minor burns (past 16 meters is harmless).

Tsubasa Sodachimasu no jutsu (Wing Grow Technique) [20]

Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Lets the user grow wings of a bird out of their shoulders.
Special: Ram
Drawback: The user may feel some pain, due to the initial outburst of the extra shoulder bones that are used for the rest of the wings to grow on. Cannot Re-grow wings that were ripped or severed from the body. If one wing is removed then it is impossible to retract the wings. If a wing is injured somehow, once retracted they cannot be used for 2 weeks OOC.
Description: The user forms the handseal, and then the extra shoulder bones that come from the Ritual of Talon and Feather burst through the back of the user and they start to grow into wings of any given bird, through chakra increasing the length of the bones, (user chooses) that are twice the length of the user’s arms. Chakra will numb the pain, but it will still hurt. The chakra will also accelerate the growth of the skin, but it will come out with feathers, having stimulated the chemical. The user may then use the wings to fly and perform other techniques that require this jutsu. When the Tsubasa wishes it or has an injured wing they can retract the wings into their body to heal over time or simply to hide them.
Limit: Must be a Tsubasa, must have Ritual of the Talon and Feather performed on them.

Entering the ring, you feel a strange sensation.

The men watch your hands reach into your clay pouch but do not react adversely.

Had you paid attention to your clansmen's words, you would perhaps have picked up on the fact that their are Rules pertaining to this ritualistic Ascension, but alas, your carelessness has caused you to make several errors.

Your attempt to perform Soul Split fails.

Your attempt to perform Searing Soul fails.

The males have gathered at a distance of 6 meters around you, leaving an additional 24 meters of circular space which constitutes the remainder of the fighting area. The eagle you have formed is created more quickly than you expect, and covers the meager distance between you and your intended target even quicker, detonating almost instantaneously. Your Target puts up little defense given his proximity to you - they did not naturally expect you to detonate an explosive so close to yourself without moving or taking some defensive measure. He takes the majority of the blast; but so too are you and the other three males surrounding you caught in the residual heat and flash. This damage is not completely debilitating to any of you, though it is accompanied by minor burns and temporary disorientation from the sound and light of the explosion.

You are Blinded and Deafened for the first 1/2 of your next post.

You suffer 40 AP Damage.

The males stumble about, shouting without hearing each other, attempting to wipe their eyes free of the brightness. They wave their hands about in front of themselves, reaching into their pouches and pockets. Your Target removes a sword from his side in fury and attempts to slash a wave of compressed air at the unseen area in front of him, the reflex of a master swordsman...but his technique fails for some unknown reason and the sword falls from his hand as if he has become a novice again. One of the males touches his chest, then performs a series of handseals, whispering to himself _{"Cure Blindness"}, but nothing happens and he curses in fury before calling out deafly to the others just in time for your own hearing to return

"MEDIC'S NO GOOD EITHER!" _{OBSERVATION ROLL SUCCESS}

But his comrades do not hear him. Did you?

A frown covered her face when her body failed to multiply into two. She had only learned soul split recently and never used it  since. Maybe she hadn't mastered it like she thought. Failure to perform yet another jutsu drove the girl to a panicked state where she shot her creation at her opponent and detonated it without taking necessary precautions. Being so close to the explosion without any defense, Angy let out a loud scream as the blast scorched and knocked her off her feet. Thanks to her clothing, only her arms and face suffered minor burns. No matter how many times or how hard she blinked, her eyes just couldn't see anything but total darkness. The force, sound and light from the explosion caused a loud, unpleasant siren-like sound to ring inside her head, taking away her hearing.

Blind and deaf Angy struggled  until she eventually managed to get herself on her feet. A blurry vision of the surrounding began to register in her brain after gently rubbing her eyes. Her hearing returned soon after just in time to hear one of the males utter something that gave her an idea of what was going on.

Inability to perform soulcaster techniques and the male's statement were enough for the young woman to formulate a hypothesis. Could it have anything to do with that weird sensation I felt earlier? Spewing the prepared clay out her right palm mouth, she tossed two pieces to the ground after shaping them. With the use of katsu both pieces expanded into 5 feet long cheetahs that stood 3 feet tall. One charged at the main target of her previous attack, the other at the male closest to him. Each creation would leap at its target with its clawed front legs stretched in attempt to pin the target down.

To avoid making her previous mistakes the girl took a 2 meters leap back, opening up a distance of 8 meters between herself and her 2 targets before detonating her cheetahs. Both hands reached back into her pouches consuming clay into each mouth, while at the same time keeping an eye on all her opponents.

The clay will wrap itself around the thing that came into contact with it and hardens leaving the thing stuck in it, vulnerable for attack by the user of this Jutsu. The user can also make the clay clone explode with the command "Katsu", in order to do that however, you must have the technique at a B Rank. The clone is not limited to just humans, its limited to all other things, animals, etc.

Effect: Creates a mass of moderate sized clay creations linked to the user which attempt to latch on and immobilize an enemy before going off into a massive blaze of glory depending on the amount created at the time.

(Maximum Amount: 1 Creature for 15 Slots used)

Drawback: The user cannot chew (masticate) any other clay creatures within their hand mouths while this technique is active. If detonated at its creation form the creature will only give off the force equivalent to 2 Exploding Tags with a three meter radius. The clay cords can only be extended Twenty Meters from the user's location. The creatures can be detonated all at once OR individually, however there will be a slight delay as the chakra will need to be directed through the correct cord for the bomb to go off accordingly.

Description: After molding and infusing some amount of clay the hand mouths used will vomit the clay along the ground in a connected to the user's hands by a thin clay cord which is used to run chakra from the user to his or her creation(s). Rising from the ground and into a disfigured human-like form, it attempts strikes on the opponent capable of dealing "D" Rank Taijutsu damage at its original creation state. Being manipulated by the user through clay cords the creatures gain the ability to repel Taijutsu strikes of a blade "D" Rank and below (Unless boosted by a FS Tech.) or even glue itself down onto the weapon, sucking it in. When cut down more clay cords from the fallen pieces connect to the next and create yet another minion which could never be bigger than it previously had. Once attached to an opponent the creation will begin to spread and weigh them down (immobilizing them) while the rest of these monstrosities find their way to add on for a final explosion. Furthermore, the minions once cut down only have the ability to explode with damage (force) equivalent to 1/3rd an exploding tag. A mass of miniature creations means the explosion will obviously be greater.

They never saw it coming.

Blinded and Deafened as they were, the main male would be knocked prone on to his back by the clay cheetah, pinned as planned due to his flat-footedness. The next closest male, the on to the main target’s left was similarly knocked down and pinned, lying on his back as he had attempted to escape during his fall. Once again, the clay creations had been fast, much faster than normal, however your preparation spared you in this case, and the leap back created enough space to escape the damage. Your opponents were not so fortunate, as they lay there helpless within the detonation. The crowd absolutely lost their minds with excitement! Dismemberment on a large scale! What an exciting death! Blood rained from the heavens and body parts bounced off the walls of the ring, those walls being those of your own clanmates. Morbid.

But there was a problem, the leap back put you a lot closer to your other attacker that was behind, while the one to your actual left had no major change. Also, they could certainly see now and they clay they had been preparing earlier before they were blinded is certainly prepared. They search for you briefly, now that your location has changed. The one behind you did not need to search, but the other…he spots you as well [Observation Check successful]. They don’t look amused at you or the remains of their friends. Birds leaped from their palms like a Magician’s trick, but these were no doves, and the blank faces with dead clay eyes zipped at you from the male to your right. The other behind you had already begun dropping spiders into the ring from his hands. They moved of their own accord as you skid to a halt from the leap, in turn moving toward you as well. Two down, two to go... thought the girl turning to face the enemy behind her. She had hoped seeing their friends blown into bits would startle them a little but all it did was make them angry. Both males appeared to have finished moulding creatures, her own creations weren't yet ready. Swiftly dashing forwards as birds came her way, she ran two steps before taking a giant leap over both the spiders and their creator. While above the male she'd retrieve two kunai and hurl them at his foot intentionally missing the body in hopes of making him scream or at the very least cause a clinging noise near him.

Landing 3 meters behind the spidermoulder, Ay quickly turned around and tossed a lump of clay to her left while keeping track of both males and their creations. With a one handed seal the piece of clay bubbled into an exact replica of herself. Staring at each male one after the other, she studied their mannerism and mental state [Observation:125]. Whoever appeared the least confident would be met by a cold gaze from the girl's hazel eyes. "Kill your friend or I'll feed you your heart." orderded the girl in a commanding tone [Intimidate:130]. In her right palm mouth the clay was now ready to be given life but remained safely inside the mouth as she watched on to see how her opponents would react.

Her intimidation proved fruitful making one of the males detonate his creations prematurely. They evaded the incoming danger by sprinting off in opposite directions; the clone took off to the left curving around the male furtherst to the left whereas the original ran to the right in an arc around the other male. They'd both stop on opposite sides from one another with their opponents between them, only if the birds detonated or stopped following.

Ay watched as one male was removed from the field by a marvelous explosion. The words he uttered and his facial expression after the explosion were more than enough to inform the kunouchi that he had blown up his friend intentionally. This meant he was either strong or a dumb, cocky prick. Regardless, she was going to ensure she's the one who walks away from here victorious. Her chances of success were now high with only 1 opponent to worry about. She dropped a piece of clay connected to her right handmouth by a clay cord. Holding the activation seal, the clay rose up from the ground into a disfigured human-like form of the exact same height as the girl herself.

Clay Ay charged at the remaining male at full speed, if allowed to get close it would attempt to tackle him to the ground in a spear. Upon contact the clone would glue itself to the male and begin sucking him in until it covered his whole body. From the opposite side, the clay minion also charged at the man, a second after the clone initiated it's first step. The minion would also attempt to pin him down if the clone had failed.
