Selling plants for their materials

The Issue: Hey everyone,

So I'm pondering how harvesting a tree (for the use of crafting or selling the materials) works exactly. So, when a tree has been cut down, can it's materials even be sold? Just curious how that works?

You can do one of two things. You can sell the tree as a whole, or you use alchemy to process the parts and then sell that. There's no easy way of just grabbing and selling parts.
