Masamune and Wire Ritual Compatibility

The Issue: Is the Wire Ritual compatible with Masamune? The Wire Ritual doesn't expressly state it is, but it is compatible with Kyoudo... So I don't see why not?

Reading Masamune, I can see there's nothing unique about their bodies. It's just they carry a "chakra signature that is magnetic, stand alone".

As far as I can tell, Kyoudo is compatible because it is the same. Kyoudo possesses unique eyes, but the BL states they are for show and not a Doujutsu. The real power comes from their unique Chakra/Chakra field. Logically, I should be able to convert a Masamune into a wire monster and have him retain his Masamune techs?

Well. I’m not sure what you mean by compatible. Could you elaborate on that?

kyoudo has the ability to manipulate metal objects, hence I’m able to manipulate the wire by making it go stiff via magnetic charge or by moving the wires themselves by having them attract or repel from their surrounding metal parts. However, to my knowledge, actual attacks and techniques being used I’ve always been told that they still require my fingers to make the movement occur.

Interesting. I mean, the Wire Ritual specifically states that Kyoudo is a "compatible bloodline", with no further information. I don't know how to take that other than you can keep using Kyoudo techs even after becoming a wire monster.

Wire Rit replaces like 99% of your body with wire, so I don't see what else that line could mean. A Kedoin could go into Wire Ritual. There would be nothing stopping me. Of course, without any cells to manipulate, I lose access to all my Kedoin techs. Hence where I see other bloodlines as not compatible, while Kyoudo and presumably Masamune are compatible since the bloodlines have more to do with a unique Chakra signature than their bodies.

👺 Usiel Madame Loki Shameless bump to get a definitive answer. Can a Masamune continue using their iron sand techs if they take the Wire Monster Ritual?

Masamune is NOT listed as a compatible Bloodline with Wire Ritual - but Kyoudo is. As far as I can tell, every reason Kyoudo is compatible also applies to Masamune (both bloodlines are based around unique Chakra signatures that carry magnetic properties and have nothing to do with their physical bodies). There's even a specific line in Masamune that says their Chakra signature is magnetic, so if their bodies were destroyed and replaced with wire, logically I see no reason why I can't do this. I'm just cautious because the Wire Rit does not list Masamune as compatible (a oversight maybe?).
