'Thank Kami that we got nice weather today' observed the female. She was standing at a beach close to Kumogakure no Sato. Her main weapon of today was her chisakatana. Her hip pouch contained 6 kunais, 15 hira shurikens, 2 smoke grenades, 2 hikari bombs, a multi-tool, 2 thermal capsules, 2 speedy healing herbs, 11 exploding tags, 40 senbons, a pair of goggles with camera and a summoning scroll. Her twins were at kindergarten today. Hence the location.

'The first participants should be here soon' thought Marii. She glanced down at her wrist watch. It was 11:50 AM. Today, the public training session was moved to the beach. This change should hopefully attract more shinobis.

Lady silently and gracefully crossed the hot sands of the beach, with the heat doubly amplified thanks to her shadowy pitch-black fur. However, despite this, she showed no real signs of discomfort or pain. Most canines would find it difficult to cross the sandy beach without protection. However, if anyone was observant enough, then they’d notice a slight trick that Lady had picked up on.

Despite walking at what deceptively looked like a slow and casual pace, Lady kept her limbs nimble and mobile so that she only needed to press a paw onto the sand for half a second, before pulling it away swiftly to continue her path towards the Raikage. In fact, she only ever kept two paws on the ground at a time, to ensure that as two paws took the brunt of the scorching sand, the other two remained suspended in air to cool off. “Greetings Lady Raikage.” 

Lady smiled in an oddly humanoid manner upon approaching with nothing more than a pouch strapped to her side which contained nothing more than a few Kunai and a Hiraishin marked card. Upon reaching the Raikage, Lady stopped moving, which caused crippling heat to begin flaring up in her paws once more. Sensing this threat, she calmed her mind and used a tinge of Chakra to send a suggestion into her own mind. She pictured nimbly dodging the heated grains of sand using her special manoeuvre, which tricked her body into thinking that she was still doing it and fine.

The Green Dragon was having issues avoiding the blade. It was unerring in it’s pursuit of the Dragon under Kimi's direction. He was happy with that, and the range seems to be about twenty meters away from him. That was all well and good, so he halted his training for the second he had remembered that Marii had invited him to this beach gathering. He would be able to finish his training there, or at least he hoped he could.

So he and the Dragons took off toward the beach gathering. They quickly made it there and from the sky Kimi would let his wing disperse and he would fall to the ground. But instead of a smash and cloud of sane, all that happened was him gently touching down. Both the Dragons circled him as he landed as we as the blades of force that still circled him. In fact the orbiting blades would spin around the Dragons now, instead of attacking them.

“Greetings Lady Raikage, and Lady. I hope you both are having a fine day.” Kimi responded as he touched down. He wouldn’t allow the blades to harm either of the two and they would orbit closer to Kimi. He made sure that part of his focus was on the blades so that anytime they neared the other two, their orbits would change. This should keep both of them safe while training his ability to control this Jutsu.

The female smiled when she saw the large canine approach her. 'I'm impressed that such a large animal can move so quietly. Then again, we're at the beach' recalled Marii. She glanced at the large tail for a couple seconds.

The young woman knew that the tail could reveal a dog's mood. The moondog was no exception. Her tail was wagging a little. This meant she was pleased about something or someone. It made the Raikage smile.

"Greetings Lady Raikage" said the animal. She smiled in an eerie humanoid manner. 'I guess that's how humans can affect animals. Showing teeth in the animal world is not always a good thing' thought the female. "I'm very happy to see you too Lady-san" replied the brunette.

Suddenly, Lady stopped moving. Her scarlet eyes looked more nervous than before. This made the young woman switch into 'shinobi mode'. 'She's probably caught the scent of something. Or someone' realized Marii.

Fortunately, there was no need to worry. The 'someone' was her younger relative with blades spinning around him. 'What the - what kind of jutsu is that!? Are those DRAGONS!?' observed the female. Kimimaru landed softly at the sand a few moments later.

"Greetings Lady Raikage, and Lady. I hope you both are having a fine day" greeted Kimimaru. "I am very pleased to see you Kimimaru-kun. I thought we could have a training session at the beach. This environment will let us train a multitude of ninjutsus" informed the Raikage.

Perfect, since she was heavily directionally challenged.

She turned right into a small and deserted alleyway, away from other people on the street. By now it was getting crowded and she had no desire of drawing attention to herself. The girl closed her eyes briefly, trying to recall the sequence of handseals. How she wished she had a jutsu book. Kotoe performed the handseals as she remembered them, her eyes still closed. One of the slightly annoying things about Ninjutsus was the number of handseals per jutsu. When she opened her eyes, nothing happened. What she was expecting she didn't know, but she was sure that surely something should have happened. Second time's the charm?

Stubborness was always a strength and a weakness in her personality. Kotoe closed her eyes again. Concentrate Koto! Again her hands came together as she performed the set of handseals again. Because she wasn't really looking, she didn't know if they were any different from the first time. No matter, it was from pure memory. The girl opened her eyes again, and still nothing. Wait a second...she then recalled her teacher saying that there was a certain distance she had to be within for the jutsu to work. Walking out onto the main street again, she wondered which direction.

She knew that there was a beach somewhere as she remembered going there with her family in the summer. Beaches definitely had a body of water. She was just about turn onto another street when like a signal on a map, something flashed before her eyes. Was that what she was looking for? Kotoe decided to follow it. Her legs carried her to the village gates and beyond it. The gate patrol looked at her, saw her headband and asked. "Are you heading out to train?" She nodded her head and he let her pass. The girl was wearing a white dress with her fan, sword and a pouch with some basic weapons strapped to her waist. She didn't have to know the way as the jutsu guided her left and right, until her shoes came in contact with sand.

The beach! Kotoe took in her surroundings for a moment. She saw the ocean first, which meant that those handseals from back there had worked. Next time I'll bring scrolls, she thought to herself. She only had a brief moment to enjoy the sight before her eyes when she noticed some...people in the distance. At least two of them were definitely human, and then there was a huge dog and...dragons?! For a moment the girl was a little scared. But she had come this far already. She was definitely not turning back now. Kotoe moved closer to the party. The sand felt warm and coarse as she walked.

"Hello?" Kotoe said a little quietly, stopping with a safe distance. She was not really good at introductions."My name is Sakuragi...Sakuragi Kotoe."[/font][/div][/ul]

"All right everyone. Which kind of-". "Hello? My name is Sakuragi...Sakuragi Kotoe." greeted the girl. Her greeting had an unexpected effect.

The female had turned around way too fast for her own good. Her small frame started to wobble when her right foot slipped. Marii flailed with her arms in order to regain her balance. Sadly, her attempt failed miserably. Her petite body was on collision course with the sand.

The young woman decided to use the soft foundation to her advantage. She placed both palms firmly down in the sand. This prevented her body from falling down to the ground. Brushing sand off your clothes was a nightmare. Furthermore, the Raikage was fully aware that her Genins were watching.

'Looks like my arms are steady. Time to get back up again!' decided the female. She untangled her legs until they were in a parallel position. Next, the brunette pushed her weight towards her legs. This process took only a few seconds.

The last step was to get back up. The young woman bent forwards as she got up. "I'm all right" assured Marii while looking at Lady and Kimimaru. She turned towards the new girl in a slower motion. "Nice to meet you too Kotoe-san" greeted the female with a bright smile at her face.

"Glad you found us. Do any of you have any special jutsus in mind? I am able to help you if you want ninjutsu or genjutsu. My taijutsu skills are a bit limited however" admitted the Raikage. 'EVEN KOTOE-SAN IS TALLER THAN ME!' moped her inner self.

Lady’s canine eyes blinked as she watched Kimi land rather menacingly with a cohort of spirit dragons and a ring of blades adorning his figure. The rather intimidating and confident image of Kimi remained etched within Lady’s mind for a few moments. She felt as if Kimi could take on any threat at that moment, and by extension, she felt as if she could fight anything alongside him.

As Lady thought about this, she felt a surge of adrenaline and power flowing through her canine body. She begun to realise that if she could use certain thoughts to make her body faster and more nimble, then it stood to reason that certain thoughts could also bolster her fighting prowess. All she had to do was focus on that mental image carefully, and then embow the connotations it held into a Genjutsu.

“Greetings. A training session sounds fun.” Lady whispered into the minds of everyone in the area with her telepathy as she focused on moulding her Genjutsu with the correct connotations to ensure that it would have the desired effect when released. While moulding the necessary Chakra, Lady’s crimson eyes locked onto the figure of a newcomer. “Sakuragi?” Lady blinked while responding telepathically. She hadn’t seen the young woman around the village before, which meant she had to have been a Genin or academy student. Too focused on curiosity, Lady accidentally released her Genjutsu, which caused a powerful image of a shadowy figure surrounded by swords and dragon eyes to appear in her mind’s eye.

“I'll take you up on your offer Lady Raikage! Some Genjutsu pointers would be great... I seem to be struggling with focusing while moulding Genjutsu Chakra.”

"I'll take you up on your offer Lady Raikage! Some genjutsu pointers would be great...I seem to be struggling with focusing while moulding genjutsu chakra" told the canine. The female gave her a smile. "I can understand why you find that hard. It's not like ninjutsus with elemental releases" started Marii.

She started to mold chakra for a genjutsu of her own. "First thing you need to remember is the perception. Similar to releases, they do different things. Some may hypnotize their targets while others create pain" continued the young woman. She started on her handseals.

"Have a look at the genjutsu I am using right now. Keep in mind that this is FAR by the strongest genjutsu in my arsenal" warned the Raikage. Next, she sent the genjutsu straight towards Lady. The female wondered which images her mind would conjure. One thing was for sure - Yis would definitely be involved.

'Now for part two' decided the brunette. She took a deep breath as she molded a similar amount of chakra. The young woman knew the creature could handle it. Lady had accompanied her owner on high-ranked missions after all. Furthermore, an animal could be more difficult to frighten than humans.

'Animals can sense things better than humans. I need to keep that in mind for my attempt. Especially when it comes to scent' recalled Marii. She knitted her brows in concentration. Her chakra was starting to refine itself.

'I guess it's time to see if this works' decided the female. The Raikage started to release her chakra gradually. This would give her better control. Furthermore, it made it harder for her target to escape. 'Sorry Lady...but it will benefit you in the future' thought the young woman.

But she had no time nor capacity to stand there and stare for she turned to face the others and found herself staring directly at a figure with piercing dragon's eyes and swords surrounding her. Not realizing it to be an illusion, her eyes widened a little, her first reaction was that of fear. It took her a few seconds to get herself together and the fear turned into an automatc defense mechanism. Without taking eyes off, her right hand moved.

Her fingers gripped the first weapon they came into contact with -- her fan. Kotoe could tell it was her fan and pulled it from her pouch in a swift motion. She was no fighter, but her defense mechanism was pretty strong. Her grip tightened around the weapon but she kept it closed.

Her feet apart and slightly bent, she moved her left foot forward a little. A regular and basic stance of any fighter. She brought her fan, still closed to shoulder length, pointed directly at the figure before her eyes. She was poised and ready for any sudden attack. Her eyes moved from left to right. What had she gotten herself into?

Rai---Raikage?! Kotoe only caught that word in Lady's entire sentence. She immediately lowered her weapon and reverted back to her original stance. The woman who she thought was a bit clumsy wss the Raikage?! Kotoe had only seen the Kage from a distance. Now she was this close, it was hard to believe.

"L-lady Raikage! It's-it's an honor to meet you!" she stammered. It was unlike Kotoe to be so visibly taken aback.

"Glad you found us. Do any of you have any special jutsus in mind? I am able to help you if you want ninjutsu or genjutsu. My taijutsu skills are a bit limited however" she turned and studied the woman in front of her more closely, completely ignoring the threat she had felt only moments before.

Jutsus? Training? Wow! The Raikage's going to teach me jutsus and train with me?! The girl couldn't hide her excitement. It was her dream since she was little to meet and train with the kage. Today was hed lucky day! "On the contrary to you, Lady Raikage, my ninjutsu and genjutsu skills are not that great" she felt humiliated admitting this to her role model and to these strangers in front of her.

“Understood – I trust you won’t be holding back?” Before the question could be answered, Lady blinked as images flashed before her eyes. Was the Lady Raikage already assaulting her mind? To counter the foreign Chakra invading her system, Lady began pouring her own Chakra into her mind while attempting to focus on other images to drown out what she was being shown. Not images of Yis – but rather, a world without him. A world without her only true companion in this world.

Grimacing, Lady struggled to maintain a steady flow of Chakra as the images flashing in her mind began to disrupt her natural rhythm. Almost panicking, she began panting slightly as she fought off the grasp the illusions had over her. Things were beginning to look grim. However, before the Raikage’s technique could affect her any further, Lady cast a Genjutsu of her own onto herself to force the brave image of a dragon-eyed warrior surrounded by spiralling weapons to appear in her mind.

At that moment, she instantly felt stronger. However, not to the point where she could resist the Raikage’s illusion. It seemed too powerful for that. At best, she could only just about manage to push the images it provoked into the back of her head where it could go ignored, but never truly gone. It was at that point that Lady’s Chakra began to seep into her heart, which caused a jolt of adrenaline to snap her into her senses. Heart racing, her eyes began glowing a fierce shade of red as the Raikage’s illusion began to drown even deeper from view.

It was at that point that Lady noticed that her fangs and claws were on full display. “A-Apologies! I seem to have discovered something…” Lady spoke while restricting her claws and shutting her jaws tight. She was making a effort to appear more docile, but the fierce glow in her eyes never seemed to fade away. “That aside... Sakuragi was it? What brings you here? Fancied some training?”

"Understood – I trust you won't be holding back?" inquired the animal. "I won't" stated the female. She smiled when she looked at the girl. "On the contrary to you, Lady Raikage, my ninjutsu and genjutsu skills are not that great" admitted Kotoe. Marii nodded while she listened to her.

"I understand. Let's start with the handseals. Look at my hands please" started the young woman. She lifted her thin hands up to her shoulder level. Next, the Raikage started on a handseal sequence.

The combination was not very long. However, it was slightly complicated. "I want you to repeat that sequence. Handseals must be second nature if you're not a taijutsu user" told the female. Her voice was more serious than usual.

"Another advantage with quick hands..." started the brunette as she lowered her hands. Her right hand quickly pulled out some shurikens from her hip pouch. Her left hand however was removing two kunais. It did not take more than a few seconds. What happened next would probably give Kotoe a jumpscare.

The young woman first threw the shurikens into the sand in front of her. Once they landed, she held the kunais in front of her. "Is that throwing goes faster" finished Marii. She put away her weapons a few moments later. The smile on her face revealed her satisfaction.

"Show me one of your raiton jutsus please. Remember what I said about the handseals. Don't worry about me or Lady-san. We are here to help you" assured the female.

Lady glanced down at her paws. She attempted to mirror the Raikage’s handseals – but without fingers or thumbs, the action was impossible. Sighing, Lady simply focused on her internal flow of Chakra. She didn’t quite know how she could cast techniques without handseals. However, as always, she begun by conjuring a thought in her head. This time, she focused intently on the idea of a giant broadsword capable of cutting through any shield or armour.

Once the image was clear in her mind, Lady released a smidgen of Chakra and allowed the connotations behind the image to ingrain themselves into the Chakra. Effectively, the Chakra was now prepared and converted into a Genjutsu as easy as that, with no need to form handseals to ingrain instructions into the Chakra. Although her method was slower, it did mean she didn’t need to give away the fact that she was casting something.

Glancing over towards the Raikage, Lady smiled while releasing a pulse of the transformed Chakra. If the Chakra reached the Raikage, then the subtle pulse would enter her body and infect her Chakra network. However, rather than a harmful effect, all that would happen would be the same image Lady thought of would also flash in the Raikage’s mind to bolster her strength and sharpen her Taijutsu.

The female looked at the canine. She felt somewhat uncomfortable when she saw the smile. 'What's this feeling? It's feels like my muscles are-'. CRACK!

Marii turned around to see who or what it was. Her face turned ashen in seconds. A rabid red fox was running towards them! "Step back Lady-san. I'll take care of that one" muttered the young woman.

She shifted to fighting stance. 'I need to use the power Lady-san gave me. It won't last forever!' thought the Raikage. She took a deep breath while she relaxed her muscles. Ice blue eyes glanced at the creature in front of her.

'My best bet is to use a side kick. It should give me the range I need' decided the female. The creature bolted forwards with its mouth open. 'In five...four...three...two...'. Her legs started to move forwards.

"EAT THIS YOUR PEST!" shouted the brunette. Her left leg shot forwards when the fox was just two meters away. The kick connected, and the animal was doomed. It flied several meters backwards until it crashed into a sand pile. The fox whimpered as it tried to get up.

'WHAT THE...Just HOW did the fox get that injured!? Especially since I'm physically smaller than most adults. That sand pile should have acted as a cushion as well!' observed Marii. She kept a close eye on the injured animal. There was still a chance for a counterattack.

Defensive throw.
Rank: “S” Rank.
Skill: Taijutsu/supplementary.
Effect: A technique in which if the user has his sights set on a target ready to attack, the senses of the throwing specialist is so in tuned with his surroundings the user is unable to be flanked.
Special: ---
Drawback: The user may only learn this technique by the class that they are. This means that in order to learn the “C” Rank version they must be “C” Class, if they wish to learn the “B” Rank version they must be “B” Class.
Description: A technique where the subconscious mind, where the subconscious body reacts just as they are attacked while flanked or while their back is turn. The body reacts in such a way to where they are capable of withstanding so much. This technique makes it where the throwing specialist is incapable of being surprised attacked, a sudden second sense kicks in as their body screams out to them yelling at them telling them to move, duck, dodge or anything else within that manner. This works on whenever they are being attacked. This technique however has a major flaw. The user is capable of dodging only whenever the opponent's class is equal or lower to that of the rank of the technique they know. This means that a user that knows this technique cannot use this against an opponent that is “C” Class or higher.
Limit: Must be a throwing specialist.

Skill: Taijutsu.
Effect: Take this stance when preparing for confrontation. The description assumes you are right handed. If you are left-handed, simply substitute “right” for “left”.

Drawback: ---
Description: Stand with your feet high-width apart and take a comfortable step forward with your left foot. Keep your weight on the balls of your feet. The toes of both feet should generally point forward, but the forward foot may turn slightly inward for better balance. Keep your hands relaxed, hold them above your chin height and a comfortable distance away from the face. Make sure your elbows are in and fairly close to your body and your shoulders are relatively squared to an opponent.
Limit: Must learn from a master of krav maga.


Side kick.
Rank: “C” Rank.
Skill: Taijutsu.
Effect: Side kick differs from front kick and round kick; it is similar to a stomp. Contact is made with the bottom of the heel.

Drawback: ---
Description: Starting position: Passive stance. The target should be directly to your right side. Using the right (closest) leg, bring your knee and foot up in front of your body. Send the bottom of your heel out toward the target while punching your hips in the same direct. For more power and greater height, bend your body over the opposite hip. As your foot moves towards the target, pivot your left (base) foot out so that your left heel points toward the target. Make contact with the bottom of your right heel. Your knee should be slightly bent when you make contact. Recoil by making a sharp movement to bring your foot back forward you and down, while straightening your body back to a vertical fighting stance. Turn and face the attacker. Tips: Although your shoulders may lean away from the target, your weight should transfer through your hips into the target. Depending on the user's strength depends on the strength of the attack.
“S”-class: User is able to launch an opponent up 16 meter in the distance.
Limit: Must learn from a master of krav maga. Must know combatives in level 1 - yellow belt.
