IT'S THE TIME OF MY LIFE

Momoko Hyūga, the most recently appointed Hokaga of Konohagakure stood proudly, peering proudly upon her village. Only a few hours had passed since her inauguration. But she wasn't a mere Hokage, was she? She'd done the unthinkable, and declared herself the sovereign Queen of Konoha. The tree she'd made towered above even the tallest of trees that hid their village before, and Konoha could surely be seen from many miles away.

The top of the stump ⁠— on a tree she'd created several hours before, was her perch. Her hands were upon her hips, resting on her fantastically frilly white dress, which was accompanied by a white bonnet, tied to her head with a red bow. Another much larger red bow was tied around her waist as well. Small black boots adorned her feet, most assuredly of the finest quality as well. Her brown cloak flapped majestically in the wind, worn on her neck in the manner in which a cape might be worn.

She carried no weapons, and thought about the future of her village. Glory, power, money, happiness for her subjects. She'd achieve it all, and now she had the means to do so.

It was a beautiful cloudless night. A full moon gazes down on himself and Momoka. A gentle wind carries the scent of pine throughout the village and past them. As it does it billows the faux hair on Daigo's helmet. After taking in the beautiful sight of the village from up so high the Hyuga approaches his little sister and sets his hand on top of her hair. Daigo does a really good job at emulating and understanding feelings but with Momo it is so hard sometimes. This time however he had her number. He undid his helmet and revealed the lower part of his face. 

"We will do this together."

A smile replaced his moving lips and he stared directly at her enjoying the serenity of the night sky.

SHOOTIN' AT THE MOON TO BRING THE SUN UP

Gently awoken from her daze, Momoko found herself with a large hand placed upon her head. The armoured hand of her brother, Daigo Hyūga, gestured with a familial kindness — that she was not alone in her efforts. But something suddenly seemed to irk the young Queen. Roughly, Momo shoved the gauntlet away and turned violently towards her brother. She sneered with an expression of disgust that she'd never dared to point at her brother before.

"Together? Together!? Brother, do you understand what I'm going to do? Do you know what I've done?"

In a rare display of what could perhaps be described as guilt or culpability, Momo yelled out towards the man who'd supported her despite all of her wrongdoings. She panted momentarily, clearly distressed by her brother's blind trust. Then she clenched her left fist defiantly and pointed towards the sky with the other.

"I'll have the whole world in my arms by the time I'm done... I don't care if I have to tear it down to get it!!!"

She growled at her brother. As her emotions grew, so did a fiery blue aura that appeared around her. First a few centimeters, then several, and finally up to a meter at its largest. Momo huffed and puffed, her eyes flared red at her brother, daring him to oppose her.

She seemed content with his hand on her head at first but then she grew a blind rage and lashed out at him. Yelling in anger at her own weakness. She obviously feared the power she had just gained. Still he only had a guess as to how she did the things she did. He was always willing to help her. Although it may seem blind to Momo, to him he sees behind her facade. Behind her rage was a troubled child and Daigo was the only one there for her. Her parents weren't around and at this point Momo and had done enough damage with her foster parents to recover that. She only had him and he wanted to not let her down even if it meant overlooking bad deeds.

The blue flames raged behind her at this point. The had to be consequence for her blind anger towards the only person willing to help. A white glow formed around his body as he let loose 3 chakra gates. A blur of his image replaced where he was and his body would reappear to the left side of her, the flames snuffed out in the area he was standing. A single but very powerful flick would be delivered to Momo. It was a bit excessive but sometimes that is what someone needs to wake up. In her aerial wake Daigo crossed his arms and shouted:

"Don't be dumb girl. I will keep you on the right path. No one else will"

SHOOTIN' AT THE MOON TO BRING THE SUN UP

The impact of Daigo's finger hitting Momo's unsuspecting head was thunderous. So much so that concerned villagers peered up on their way home from the celebration. Momoko flew rapidly, over fifteen meters in a single instant. But she stopped, expending slight effort to halt the force of her brother's flick. It was there that she hovered, slouched over — holding the side of her head.

Finally she looked up, growling hatefully at her brother as her flaming blue aura resumed its roaring explosions. Suddenly the aura swelled, increasing by several more meters. But then the aura disappeared, and Momo along with it. The destination wasn't a surprise though, because directly next to Daigo, the aura raged, noisily making him aware of her presence.

Should Daigo move to raise his guard, it wouldn't matter. Momo's aura lashed out, blasting Daigo away, in the opposite direction Momo'd been struck previously.

"This is your last chance to stop me, brother!"

"Stop you from what? Going in any deeper than you have? This is your doing and you'd better own up to the choices you've made." he'd say after being blasted back to the edge of the tree.

He took minor damages from the attack she threw. He didn't try and dodge it. A slow gait brought him in front of her, his helmet's locks raising and lowering in the energy that surrounded him from using the gates. A small anger rose in him over her choices but he knew that it was already too late. His fist glowed with a small white flame, similar to hers but in monotone. 

"AHHHHH DAMN IT ALL!" he roared.

His fist hit the ground of the tree and after two blasts a very large crater replaced the wood that was beneath him. 

"WHY DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT I'M HERE TO HELP!" a final warning before he'd have to show her that he was here by force.

CAN'T KEEP RUNNIN' AWAY

Daigo was serious. Serious as serious gets, perhaps. Dead serious, though? Perhaps not. Certainly sincere in his feelings of helping Momo, even if that means thrashing some sense into her. A crater appeared at the spot where Momo stood just moments ago. Pieces of wood rained down as the dust cleared upon Daigo's ground zero.

"My castle!!!"

Yelled a concerned voice, several meters behind Daigo, this time in the air above him slightly. If he peered upwards to see his sister, he'd discern a quite different expression from what he might expect. Momo's crimson eyes glowed mightily adjacent to the moonlight, contrasting the night sky behind her. Despicable young countenance expressed a visage of exhilaration, rather than a more reasonable unease or apprehension.

She'd never seriously fought her brother before. Was he aware of the extent of her abilities? Certainly not. The prospect of going all out revealed the thrill of her moment. Despite the intense effort she's invested in hiding her emotions, a huge grin manifested itself on her face. She beamed ear to ear as she shrieked a laugh of maniacal proportions. The air whistled shortly as the probably not-so-serious lad blurred towards her brother.

Blue flaming explosions launched out of Momo's hands, aimed at the armored Daigo from point-blank range. The barrage of chakra blasts would surely be difficult to dodge.

"AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!! HELP ME THEN, BROTHER!! HELP ME!

"HA! This is not nearly enough!" he'd say as she blasted her blue heat at him. 

A force rose within him and the next gate would unlock. A white aura surrounded Daigo and his usual upbeat form changed into one a lot more calm. His Byakugan would eliminate the need to even see the attack as her form made it very obvious that a similar projectile from before would erupt from her hands. It seemed like a teleport but an after image took the place of Daigo and made it seem as if he were hit by the blast. Instead though he had used the form of ikanten to shunshin into the air behind his sister. 

"Oh you'll get what you wish sister."

His arms rose and hands clasped together then would hammer down into the back of her skull. It was enough force to probably knock her out if it hit.

TAKE ME ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP, BABY

Her brother, although certainly qualified to occupy the rank above Momo's previous one, was slightly more skilled than she'd imagined. Definitely only slightly though. Perhaps their abilities were mostly even-matched? Certainly their combat specialties differed, but Momo felt slightly downhearted. Daigo didn't seem impressed, or even scathed by her attempts thus far.

Momoko contemplated her momentary disappointment while Daigo skillfully confounded yet another blast. However, before she'd had the time to express frustration, Daigo amazingly struck Momo from behind, launching her back into the top of the tree she'd been carefully avoiding. Large chunks of splintered wood flew about, creating a small crater and a dust cloud of sorts.

"ENOUGH!"

She yowled from within the dust, standing up from the ground zero. Huge licks of flame came off of Momo as she raged, instantly incinerating any dust or wood that could've obscured Daigo's vision. The fiery blue aura that surrounded her swelled once again, perhaps reaching a dozen meters now, her form now entirely engulfed in blue and yellow blazing explosions.

"HAHAHAHAA!! THIS IS IT BROTHER!!! LET'S FINISH IT WITH A BANG!!"

Momo roared up at her brother. She clenched her fists at her sides, as huge quantities of chakra erupted out of the small child and focused at both of her hands. After several moments, her hands lifted suddenly at her brother.

"ONE! BIG! BAAAAAANG!!!!"

An enormous, hundred meter cone of blue fire launched towards her brother above, lighting up the whole village that'd been entirely dark until just now. Small crowds of people peered up at the sight. Perhaps very few, if any of them knew what was truly happening.

Daigo's overhead smash crashed into the back of his younger sister and sent her flying into the woodwork below. As she rose she screamed "ENOUGH" and then charged up that same blue flame she had before. After analyzing it with his doujutsu the Byakugan, he could tell it was a colorless chakra. Which was strange. Was it eldritch? He had never seen his sister in combat before this and he did not know she was this powerful. It was obvious though that they were both holding back. 

Below his sister screeched with excitement and Daigo managed to catch his feet on the side of the tree to use as a way to ascend higher. Her flames seemed to charge up to a maximum output and she released it. It was huge. Probably 30 meters wide coming right at him and probably would kill him if he didn't respond. 

"Didn't think I'd have to use this."

Daigo leapt from the tree into the air. A mighty jump 45 meters above his current position to arc away from the incoming flames. THe power of the gates subsiding at this point causing him pain as he went airborne.His right arm pulled back and a white chakra enveloped it. A wolf of chakra formed around his fist and as he lunged his arm forward in a punching motion and he''d scream:

"Buttohira no Kakou Jouten!!!!"

The white chakra exploded from his hand downward towards the flames. A huge wolf howled as the flames were divided by the wolf and into itself. Each technique canceling eachother out. A colossal amount of smoke billowed from the aftermath and went on for a few minutes after. Daigo knew where she was, once he landed he strutted over hiding his exhaustion from overexerting himself. 

"Sister. You really are worthy of being Hokage."

Under the suffocating comfort of night, Tōri navigates the streets of Hi with little more than the soft shuffling of her favorably bare feet to accompany her. Had she been allowed to leave earlier, perhaps she would not have missed the inauguration; a fact and event-type still unbeknownst to her. As far as she knew, she was excited, and it seemed to be something big for the village. Not understanding Hōfuku's interference as control and abuse, Tōri simply obliged the unusually tasking regimen in a late night training spar before getting ready with ten minutes to spare. Of course this did not count towards her allowed time out, but because she was allowed to choose her own outfit she did not care. Adorning her body is a plain white shirt with short batwing sleeves cropped over her midriff met by a pair of baggy black harem pants, highwaisted to her ribs and tied neatly off over her naval. Where skin should peak out, bandages caress and continue under her shirt, appearing to connect to the bandages over her right arm which stop just above her elbow. Fresh from training, her hair was slightly disheveled and a new cut sits just below her left eye, paralleled by a smaller one upon the same cheekbone.

Now she would come to the base of a bizarre new beast of a tree at the center of the village, where she had arrived in hopes of meeting the outing before it ended. Disappointingly, she realized she was too late. Disheartened but maintaining the refusal to admit emotion, Tōri simply stared up the length of this monstrous tree licking the stars. A shrieking of maniacal laughter, however, piques the young bird's interest just enough for her to activate her doujutsu. Perking at the sight of a small, girlish figure apparently facing off against a burlier, shiny figure, Tōri decides against her conditioning to break the rules and go somewhere without initial approval.

Beginning her methodical ascent, she silently observes as she makes quick leaps and bounds upwards the side of the tree, using the chakra in the soles of her feet to stay aligned. She found the struggle was not the vertical bounds but the trajectory which would not send her hurdling backwards, or slightly askew from the shape of the tree. It's not until she hears a booming shatter of sturdy bark does she focus again on the destination. Stalling long enough to crouch into the side of the tree out of the rain's way of debris spilling over the sides, Tōri saw that it was the girlish one leaving she-shaped craters in the trunk's peak. Once she reached the commotion, Tōri poked out at the curve of the backwards 'C', tucked enough away from the action. Numbly eager, she crouches there idly, catching her breath in soft, silent breaths, eyes glued forward.

"ONE! BIG! BAAAAAANG!!!!"
"Buttohira no Kakou Jouten!!!!"

Who is this little lass screaming and leaking explosions casting thick rolls of ungodly power? And who is the man floating above, painted over the moon which illuminates his armor significantly, matching her blue fire with a roaring of bright white? As the two competent forces clash, the sheer intensity disturbs the atmosphere, resonating a pulse of aftershock which spreads out in a violently benign ring of white hot discernible to the doujutsu Tōri wore; it picks up the edges of her garbs and locks of her black hair. Tōri stares in awe, a feeling stirring in her chest unlike something she'd ever felt before. It was a thrumming in her ribs, a pounding in her ears, a wash of something warm through her veins head to toe. Her eyes glitter, reflecting all the glorious colors and the moonlight, the stars sparkling brightly in her pale Byakugan.

When it all finally settles and something of important detail is uttered from above, Tōri stands. Her face is perusual devoid of immediately obvious expression, hooded eyes and black mouth and untwitching eyebrows all suspiciously distant. But behind her pupiless stare is a glee and empowerment she'd never experienced or expressed properly. Very faintly, the corners of her lips tug upwards. She takes a few careful steps forward. Her voice is reserved, often unused, but cold cutting through the thickness of the situation.

"Am I interrupting...?"

WHEN I BUST MY GAT M'FUCKERS TAKE DIRT NAPS

A momentous explosion rocked the village as their attacks collided. The smoke cleared and Momo sat down, only slightly winded from her seemingly herculean efforts. She seemed content with the result of her fight, having never actually intended to injure her brother in the first place. At least not much... But a sudden and surprising compliment from Daigo sent her over the moon. An excited Momoko stood and spun around in place before stopping and pointing at her brother accusingly.

"Queen! I told you, Daigo... It's not the village hidden in leaves anymore, it's my kingdom. Now let's go."

She spoke, protesting his habitual naming of the position she'd replaced. Momo considered the time and effort it'd take for her to break ingrained traditions and sighed. She brushed off her dress momentarily and made to leave with her brother. She'd fix the tree tomorrow.

Just then, an anomaly spoke. Momo's eyes lit up, flaring a vivid red that pierced the night sky behind her once again. Nary a moment of hesitation escaped from Momoko as a huge blast of fire enveloped the spot the child had been standing. An intimate moment of weakness with her brother witnessed by a stranger. Surely they must be erased, regardless of who they are.

The fighting was quelled. A small laugh would be shared between him and his sister. Things got heated there for a moment but deep down they both knew it was actually more fun than it was serious. In response to him claiming she is a worthy Hokage, the small "Queen" demanded her proper title. Momo couldn't see it but a smirk formed on his face within his helmet. Daigo's byakugan was still active from the fight, he noticed a small framed woman behind him but Momo did not. The new person said a small sentence and it startled his sister.

In more of an instinctual response she blasted a fireball at the young woman. Even before the attack was shot off Daigo already felt the retaliation coming. The armored Hyuuga was closer to the newcomer than his sister. With a small shunshin he got in between the fireblast and the girl and spun in a circle. Chakra flew out of his tenketsu and formed a dome of chakra around him that would completely nullify the flames that threatened the poor girl. After the attack subsided Daigo yelled at his sister.

"DON'T JUST BLINDLY ATTACK PEOPLE!"

It was a bit out of character for Daigo to raise his voice but Momo just set him off with her shenanigans sometimes. Daigo strutted over to the one he saved and spoke. 

"Are you alright? Sorry about my sister, she's a bit ornery." spoken with a metallic tone.

Queen? Tōri did not understand, but she knew she had no right to.

Although she had not known what to expect, the results of her intrusion were the least likely of outcomes she had considered. Evidently her unsolicited drop in was a nuisance; one which needed to be apparently erased. Had she witnessed something she was not supposed to? Tōri tilts her head curiously, but any curiosities she may want to voice are quickly thwarted by a new blast of booming blue, this time a direct attack on the intruder herself. Unfortunately a woman raised of fate, she made no attempt to run or save herself as she knew the hierarchy of power. If at the hands of this Queen she should die, then such is the end she was meant to meet. Who was she to interfere? Or perhaps that was a facade, a ploy to derail her subconscious desire to end her life as it was.

Yet she was saved and once again she felt feelings she had never felt before. Something was stirring, but it was not yet enough to break her chains. Still, they rattled. A sparkle behind hooded lashes, a small smile behind taut lips. Something was stirring. Scolding his apparent sister before coming to assess young Tōri, the metal man of a metallic voice would finally notice familiar pale eyes. Slowly, the tendrils of stress drain from her temples as she deactivates her doujutsu so that she may gaze at him plainly.

"Fine, thank you." Her tone was a similar metallic tone but in a different sense; a distance, as if she spoke from far away. She leans to the side to peer around the glint of armor at the young girl. "The Queen is your sister?" Little sister; younger but surpassing. Why was he allowed to oppose her without punishment? It was a concept Tōri could not comprehend. Conditioned to authority, Tōri steps idly around the man to stand at his side, looking onward towards his sister, the self-proclaimed Queen of Konoha, she who denounces her Hokageship in favor of this all encompassing title. Without much hesitation or expression, Tōri inclines the upper half of her torso slightly, a quick bow. "My apologies, ma'am. I wasn't aware."
