Fukuwajutsu no Kugutsu (Puppet Ventriloquism)
Rank: "C" Rank
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: This technique allows the user the capability of talking through the puppet in a Ventriloquism type manner. The user is capable of speaking through a puppet. The puppeteer is capable of mimicking different types of voices by the usage of chakra strings.
Special: Must be a Puppeteer
Drawback: Can only speak through as many puppets as they know this technique. This means that if they know this technique only once they can only speak through one puppet.
Description: By using chakra strings the user attaches strings around the mouth of the puppet as the user suddenly creates what is considered as a voice box that pushes the voice of the puppeteer to the puppet. It works the same as that of two empty aluminum cans and a string of yarn.
Limit: Must be a puppeteer. Must know the Kugutsu no Jutsu
Mao sighed slight as she rolled over in bed, trying to block the sun out of her eyes, snuggling into her pillow slightly. It seemed the sun was against her, and would not let her get back to sleep. Sitting up Mao cracked her back and flexed her fingers out in front of her. Glancing over the side of her bed Mao spotted Kumo-Kuro, a 3 ½ foot spider like puppet.
Rolling out of bed and landing in a slight crouch, even thou it wasn’t much of a fall, Mao made her way in front of Kumo-Kuro, sitting cross-legged in front of him.
“Aright buddy.” She started. “Where going to try the Fukuwajutsu no Kugutsu today.” She informed him, attaching a Chakra string to his head, and making him cock his head to the side as if he understood her and had a will of it own, even if deep down she knew it was her own doing.
Flexing he right hand she attached several charka strings around the jagged mouth of Kumo-Kuro, first getting it to open in close a few time soundlessly before trying to push her voice into her puppet.
“Testing, testing 1, 2, 3.” She tried.
Nothing.
“Come on I know you can do this…” she muttered as she closed her eyes in concentration, trying to throw her voice into her puppet, and getting more and more frustrated by the second. This was a simple C rank NinJutsu that most other puppeteer knew and she was stuck on it.
“Come on Kumo-Kuro…” she muttered as she tried different flares and levels of chakra while going threw the alphabet, in different tones to see if she could get one to work.
“A…B…C…” at first she simply tried to force her voice down the strings and into the waiting puppets mouth: thou that seemed to have no effect. Trying again with more force she noticed a clicking coming from the Spider like puppet, and at first was hopeful but soon realized that it was just to force of the amount of charka that she was using that was making the puppets mouth shake.
Frowning slightly she tried in a lower, deeper voice, hoping that the tone would carry better. “M …N…O…P” but that too seemed to have no luck. Moving threw the alphabet several times Mao went from different levels of speaking: from whispers to shouting and nothing seemed to work.
It was at the 16th time through that Mao felt like she was going to crack.
“W…X …Y…Z…”
Mao paused for a minute, staring Kumo-Kuro in the eye before screaming “Why the hell can’t I get this!?!” forcefully with her already strained voice.
“Why the hell can’t I get this!?!” Came an echo.
Mao sat up straighter, looking at Kumo-Kuro hopefully, trying to remember what she had done differently that time.
Closing her eyes in concentration Mao tried to remember the feeling she got when she had shouted. ‘Was it the anger that made it work? No…that wasn’t it…maybe it was because I had shouted…No, the volume shouldn’t have made a difference this time…maybe…’ Mao’s eyes shot open as she remember the frustration that she had felt, she had wanted to make her anger known so she had subconsciously pushed Chakra down into her lung and pushed the air back out to make herself more forceful.
That was it!
Staring at Kumo-Kuro expectantly Mao closed her eyes tightly, using the same amount of Charka down her throat she forced in down letting it sit there for a moment before forcing it back up quickly, while remembering to keep an even tone and tried. “Kumo-Kuro?”
