For missions I do

Jekren nodded when the mission was further explained to him. A cannibal was the target it seemed, something that might have revloted alot of other people but to him it was nothing shocking. He could careless what people do, only the mission mattered to him. Besides the fact that a cannibal was someone who also had a sort of obsession with the human body, just like he did. Jekrens white robe blew slowly in a small breeze as he looked at the skull. It seemed that they were being toyed with, something that made Jekren smirk. If the cannibal thought he would rise to meet him then he was wrong, he would do this but on his own terms. "Lets move out and search, we have alot of ground to cover" said Jekren, even though he was not the team leader he figured he would make his thoughts known. Jekren turned and slowly began to walk of in the distance, slow enough so they could catch up easily if they had wanted. Jekren's eyes were focused on a rather large chapel like building, somewhere he figured the cannibal would definitely be if he was this egotistical.

It seemed that nobody on this team really cared that they were tracking down and killing a cannibal, which was a good thing. Ryo really didn't care what he had to do or who he had to kill because he had no problems at all. As long as he got stronger and the missions got completed then why should he argue at all? The only problem now was finding the enemy so that they could kill him. "Yes, we need to keep searching. Odds are that another attack will commence tonight if we don't hurry up and find this guy." Ryo ran up to Jekren as he started to walk away, heading to the chapel in front of them. "I'll take the back exit... Don't want him escaping if he is here..." Ryo ran around to the back, or really it was the side, but who was keeping track? He opened the heavy door and walked in...

Jekren nodded as Ryo moved around to the back, it was better that he took the full attention of the cannibal at first if he was in here. That way if the cannibal did put all his focus on Jekren Ryo would be able to make a powerful surprise attack...assuming the cannibal was not aware that the two of them were about in the same place. Jekren steady his breathing as he inched towards the front door of the chapel, this would be the first and one of the more difficult battles he would face as a genin, he needed to prepare himself mentally. Moving up to the front doors, Jekren slowly inched his open...what he would find was unknown...

Kunai in his hand, gourd on his back, Ryo slowly entered through the door, realizing that this place looked more abandoned than lively. A crow in the corner flapped its wings, letting out a deafening screech that forced Ryo's hands to his ears. If there was any place in the world for a cannibal to hide out than this was definitely that location. A startling fear gripped the sand manipulator's heart, but he continued to move forward, forcing his legs to obey him. He almost thought he heard a muttering of some sort echoing off of the large walls, but when he looked around all he saw was that bird moving around. He rubbed his head and continued to move forward, and with each step came the creaking of the floors. Darkness enveloped the scene. This wasn't safe... Especially since he was in the middle of a large room...

[Sabaku no Katsuo]

OOC: Sorry I just is posting now, I was sick most of the time so I am way late. Don't worry, I read the events that occured and will try to do what I can. Once again I'm terribly sorry. I will try to post more now though.

He couldn't believe it. He was useless again. He felt worse than the battle against those shadow creatures. He heard some new voice talking to him but didn't really pay him any mind. He was too focused on how useless he was. He then saw Ryo and some new face walking ahead. He figured that the unfamiliar face was an ally. He quickly ran to catch up to them. After the group got to an eriee looking chapel, he didn't really know where to locate himself and just stuck with Ryo. yet it seemed that Ryo didn't even realized that Katsuo was behind him. A bird had just flapped its wings seeming to shake up Ryo a bit. It was then that Katsuo heard a faint scream come from somewhere other than the chapel. He thought it might have been just his imagination since Ryo made no impression of hearing it. After scanning the room a bit, he then faintly saw a pile of bones bones on the far left of the room. He wasn't all too sure due to the fact that it was very dark.

Steadily his hands pushed the chapel doors open, a small creak resounding through out the building that gave a creepy illusion to a building that should have been a comforting sight. Jekren's face remained the same, a porcelin mask, yet on the inside he was slightly weary. This was a B rank mission after all, he would need to be on his guard to even spot anything that the cannibal may have lying in wait for them. His shoes echoed off the floor a bit louder then he would have liked, each step sounding as if he were stomping his foot down. He quickly scanned the area, moving his head around slowly to see if he could spot anything out of the ordinary, this was when he had also spotted the bones.

"So we are close..." he began slowly as he moved over to the pile and used his foot to sift through the pile. It seemed the cannibal had been busy, there were more then one pile of human remains sitting here. Instead of beng repulsed by the remains, Jekren seemed to be more intrigued. He loved anything that had to do with anatomy or the human make up. Jekren slowly moved away from the pile as he walked towards the alter. He carefully began to examine it, hoping to find some sort of clues or secret buttons. Just when he had given up hope his hand ran along some sort of crease in the wood. "I think i've found something..." said Jekren as he pressed the switch in and a small section of the floor began to slide away to reveal stairs that led down into a damp dark basement.

As his teammates did, Ryo continued to walk around silently, being careful not to disturb anything that would make too much noise. He had noticed the pile of human remains, yes, but that's what his puppeteer friend was inspecting at the moment. He didn't want to disturb him or get in his way unless he really had to for some reason. No, instead he began to poke around the benches, booths, and stands. The material, which looked like wood, was chipping away piece by piece, time wearing it down so much over the past few years. This place had definitely been abandoned for some time, but did it harbor a cannibal criminal now? Only time would be able to tell, but Ryo hoped that it would be soon and not later. This place sent a chill down his spine that he did not welcome one little bit...

As the sand manipulator continued to poke around the floor suddenly opened up, startling him as he jumped into the air and onto one of the benches. He was reaching for the cork on his gourd when he suddenly realized that it was one of his teammates that had triggered it. A sigh of relief escaped his lips and a passive look swept back over his face very quickly. He was almost embarrassed for jumping, but it was in human nature, and he really didn't care what they thought about him anyway. "I guess we should all go down together... I haven't been able to find anything up here anyway." Ryo looked at the staircase and started to go down, his hand taking the cork off of the gourd. This would be the final showdown...

[Sabaku no Katsuo]

It seemed that one of his teammates had found some sort of secret entrance. He wasn't all too surprised at this. I mean come on, this is a cannibal we're talking about here. It's only natural. Ignoring Ryo's sudden jump, Katsuo carefully walked over where his other teammate was standing at. He peered inside the secret cavern, to find that it was also fairly dark. He then heard it again, but the sound was dwindling down. The sound of a person dying, yet this person slowly stopped screaming. On the outside, he stayed and looked calm but on the inside he jumped and was temperarly nervous. Yet he must be hearing things because, it seemed once again that his teammates was unnerved and didn't hear a thing so it seemed. He was hesitant to step down into this dark cavern first. He then stepped back from the hole in the floor and stretched his arms towards it to go first.

"Well boys after you"

He said it in a slightly gentleman's voice. He smiled in a joking manner.

Jekren watched Katsuo, he could tell from his body language that he was nervous about the dark opening. It seemed Ryo had been a little put off by it as well when he had jumped almost out of his skin. However the jump was a good reaction, there could have easily been a trap which might have been avoided when he did so. Even though it was more of a fear reaction Jekren still had to give him kudos, he seemed like one someone could easily take orders from with no problem, however he did not always enjoy being ordered around him self.

"Well boys after you " came Katsuo's reaction to the dark entrance. Jekren smirked. "Scared are we?" he jeered as he walked towards the steps and looked back. "Well if you want to shake in your boots be my guest. But I am going to finish this thing." he said as he slowly descended down the steps. As he walked down the steps his foot steps echoed a bit. He was a little put off by the torches that lined the walls casting eerie shadows but he pushed him self to continue knowing that he needed to finish.

Once he came to the bottom of the steps he noticed a small hallway that ended in a large wooden door with a massive engraving. "Turn back, death awaits beyond this portal" the door read. Of course they would not and could not heed it's warning, they needed to find this man and finish him off. Waiting for the rest of his team, Jekren crossed his arms and watched the door, just in case someone decided to come out...

The sand leaked out of the gourd with every step down the stairs that Ryo took. And with every step it got darker and darker, the only thing providing light being the torches, but even those didn't provide much. Ryo was disappointed when he got to the bottom of the stairs, just seeing a door there. He expected some huge torture chamber with the cannibal crouched in the corner sucking on bones and half-alive humans. But no, there was just a door, just a plain, stupid door. "Don't go through yet... I can see what's beyond this door..." Ryo said as he summoned a good portion of sand directly in front of his eyes. "The Third Eye..." He muttered, one hand in front of his left eye as he closed it.

First the sand formed in front of Ryo, then it formed a perfect sphere until finally an eye was formed. It peered around room, looking at its surroundings, developing an invisible optic connection very rapidly. Then it dissipated and formed on the other side of the door, giving Ryo full visibility of what they could look forward to in the next room. "It's almost completely dark in this room... There's almost no visibility at all... We're going to need a way to see, that much is for sure." The eye peered around more. "There is no exit though, so this is the only way in and out. I can't make out if there is anybody else in there." Ryo broke off the technique. "Plan?"

[Sabaku no Katsuo]

As he offered for the other to go first, he heard that young man with the wrappings on his back make a smart remark. Katsuo narrowed his eyes at him. After Ryo made his way down the stairs, he then followed thinking to himself.

This son of a. Man, I ought to beat the crap out of him for saying that. Who the hell he thinks he is talking to me like that.

He shook his head in disapprovement while his face had a blank expression. After he reached down the stairs, Ryo had announced he would look in the room. He decided to shout out a plan.

"How about this then, someone grabs a torch off the wall and then we all bust in together so that way nothing happens to us. If we see the cannabil we attack head on."

He wasn't quite sure what he said was smart or not, but that's all that came to mind was head on attacking.

Jekren blinked as Katsuo spoke, it was becoming more and more apparent why he was not team captain. "Are you sure your a ninja? Seems that your more like just a common street thug." said Jekren in a condescending tone. He was not trying to be rude, but that was just one of the worst ideas he had ever heard. "That may work on a D Rank mission but we aren't just playing around here, thats how you end up dead." he said as he closed his eyes and tried to come up with some sort of plan.

"You two open the door from a distance with your sand. Once this is complete I will send Katsu in first, that way if there are traps they are sprung upon the puppet." said Jekren as he opened his eyes slowly. Reaching over his shoulder he moved the wraps around quickly and slammed it down before him. Jekren quickly yanked the bandages and unwraped Katsu. "Sorry buddy but it looks like you play decoy" he said to the puppet as he attached his chakra strings and backed further away from the door. Once he was about five feet back he turned and waited for the other two to do the same.

"We're going to feel this in the morning..."

Growing annoyed by his so-called teammates' actions, Ryo finally spoke up, his deep voice cutting through the air like a knife. "Keep it up and I'll simply walk out on this mission. I'm not in the mood to hear you girls bickering back and forth so cut it out now! We're here to do a job and I want to finish this job as quickly as possible. I have better things to do here than listen to you two." Ryo looked at them one last time, letting out a sigh before turning back to the door, a bit of sand building in the air around him and on the ground at his feet. "I hate to admit it, but our puppeteer is right, we can't go charging in head first without any knowledge of what's actually in there. There could be a load of traps or a strong defensive technique already in place. If we just charge in then one of us will most likely die. Let's just think a bit first..."

Hearing his plan, Ryo finally nodded toward the end of it. "Yes, that will work, but if there is a trap..." He trailed off before coming back on track. "If there is a trap and your puppet gets stuck in it then I'm going to pull off my best offensive jutsu and send it in headfirst. I can really only cast it twice and it's very chakra depleting so let's try to do this as quickly as possible." Ryo took a few steps back, about half of his sand now emptied out of his gourd and onto the floor. He looked at the other sand manipulator as his hands shot forward in the direction of the doorknob. The sand gripped around it tightly, but he waited...

[Sabaku no Katsuo]

Katsuo grunted and squinted his eyes as he crossed his arms hearing that his plans was a total waste. He complied nonetheless though. He thought about how there could be traps waiting and the plan made sense. Although what the puppeter said was harsh, it was sort of true. That was how Katsuo rolled he barely talked and mostly fought head on. That's how his life made him grow up. He slowly and carefully placed his gourd on the floor so not to make any noise. He quickly outstreched his hand as the sand hurridly emitted from his gourd yet quietly hit the door all the same. As his partner turned the knob, katsuo guided his sand to push open the door without wasted effort. It creaked as it started to open. He expected to hear someone running around or something or heavy breathing, yet he heard nothing. His imagination was really getting to him.

upon the shadows, a dark being watched the three young shinobi. His eyes as red as blood narrowed and angered as they did not follow the warning, A grin was placed afterwards. as he whispered ''you have set your own death by walking in these doors'' wich could be heard all around the room, it was not to scare them off..it was the truth in these man's eyes. soon things would come clear as the floor became covered in skulls and blood that creeped from out of the walls...on the ceiling were a few halve chewed men hung around theyre neck.

The room would appal most, however Jekren looked on in a relaxed state. Human decay was something he had seen before. Sure maybe it had not been eaten off of first but he would manage to keep his nerve about him at least a little. Inwardly he was shaking, yet on the exterior it was not too noticable. Jekren's eyes moved around the room before finally resting upon those of the cannibal, the one they had been sent to retrieve. "It is not we who will fall here today Cannibal..." said Jekren, realizing that after he said it that it sounded like some corny movie line.

Jekren moved Katsu in front of him in anticipation of the upcoming battle, he had no clue what this guy could do. "Why harm these people? What was done to you to make you turn into something so vile?" asked Jekren with a repulsed look upon his face. His fingers had already tensed up in preparation to release the blades within Katsu's arms, however maybe he out to wait for one of the sand manipulators to do their thing first and watch for an opening.

The door flung open and the sand manipulator's hands immediately went into handsigns, preparing his most powerful technique. He didn't actually do the technique yet because his other teammates seemed to be waiting for their opponent to make the first move. Ryo canceled out the jutsu and listened to his puppeteer buddy speak. "You know not what you do, cannibal..." His smirk just added to his emotionless tone. "It is a three on one battle... We will surely be victorious..." These were strong words for just a gennin, but Ryo had faith in himself and in the ninja of his village.

He quickly glanced around the room and took it all in, not letting it bother him in the slightest. While he was amazed at what the capital city had turned into (a playground for people such as cannibals?), Ryo was on a mission and had an objective to accomplish. He would not falter. He put his hands behind his back so that the enemy couldn't see if he was making a handsign or not. He leaned forward a bit as his sand spread around the floor more. He was going to win... No matter what it took...

[Sabaku no Katsuo]

As the puppet man spoke something that sounded like something out of a movie, Katsuo smacked his forehead. He quickly looked at the puppeteer, judging his corny line, then at the canniba. This man seemed to have a lust for blood aura coming off him. That was to be expected coming from a cannibal, yet he didn't scare Katsuo in the least. He was getting irritated at all the talking. He was itching to attack this freak and end this mission. He still didn't have much of a plan so he turned to his partners for a strategy.

"Hey, you guys. Before he starts to attack, what is the plan here. He seems very anxious to kill and we lost the element of surprise here?"

Jekren had to think, this had quickly become more complicated then he would have liked. Should the Cannibal attack they really had no strategy, they barely even had a working group dynamic at the moment. These two were people he had just met, and vice versa. "Well seeing as how we have a poor knowledge of each others strategy I really have no plan, for once I have nothing..." he said tensing visibly. Jekren was always used to having some sort of plan, some sort of way out but right now he had none and that made him feel like a cornered beast. But was this just a power that the cannibal held? The ability to instill fear into his opponent without having to move a single muscle or use a single technique.

"We'll just have to, dear god I can't believe im saying this, wing it..." said Jekren as he shook his head but kept his eyes upon the Cannibal at all times. "Your move first Katsuo, this is your plan after all..." he said with a smirk as he prepared to back his teamate up, perhaps even throw himself in harms way if it came to that.

The fact that the group had no plan didn't exactly sit well with Ryo, but then again, sometimes the best ideas are made up on the spot. He just didn't have a very good feeling about this one. Since Katsuo would be going in first, as Jekren said, Ryo backed up a little bit so that he wasn't so close to the door. There were probably many traps up ahead so he hoped that his partners were ready for them. He wasn't even sure if he was ready for them but he really had no choice in the matter. It was all or nothing at this point and they didn't have much to lose... except their lives. "I'll be right behind you..."
