After completing the mission, already somewhat late, he packed his belongings, said good-bye to his fellow sensei(NPC) and went off to the exams, but instead of taking the boat like he did to go to the event, he decided to take an evening run to the country. Not knowing how long it would take, he ran extremely fast but not too fast to become tired when reaching over there. As the vision of tree's sped along back as he ran, Obuza let his arms back and added alittle more speed since he didn't have all day. Dodging unexpected pedestrians and upcoming people, Obuza continued without a flaw and thought that running would be a good exercise and went along. About 15 minutes later, Obuza reached the border of the Fire Country and crossed into the Land of the Tea. According to his calculations, about 10 minutes were left to reach where the Chuunin Exams held place.
*Flash Back After Completing the Mission*
Kyouyo-sensei, how am I suppose to reach the exams in time? I didn't even have time to learn that new earth technique. I'll definitely not pass for sure. Obuza whined to Kyouyu as his sensei overheard clearly what Obuza said. The exams aren't just about knowing powerful techniques, it's how you use your own intelligence into battle. A fellow team mate of mine became chuunin with just a single technique, and he lost the match. His tactics were amazing and his plans were well thought in a matter of seconds. Kyouyu said as he stopped to drink his cup of tea that was left on the desk where he was sitting. Just don't worry about not knowing the amount of techniques, and rely on what you have now excluding techniques. You almost late, I think we should stop chatting and go to the Tea Country. Kyouyu said reaching over to a scroll that was also on the desk where his cup of tea was. Obuza took the scroll and saw it was the directions to the chuunin exams and he was just about to ask where his sensei had found this scroll, Kyouyu yelled GO!!!. Obuza startled ran and followed the directions it lead until he was at the destination point.
*End of Flash Back*
Having thought about this visualization in his head, he had just about reached his ending point of the map. He opened the scroll and noticed he was going the wrong way! In shock, Obuza stood still and just realized the scroll was upside down and his heart beating at the speed of a machine gun, he continued running. Reaching a sudden forest, Obuza jumped to the top peek branches and jumped from one thick branch to the other for more speed and energy saved. Finally he was able to reach the red dot to where the path for him to run through was at an end. Finally... Obuza panted as he inhaled and exhaled repeatedly. Observing the area, noticed that he was not late and he had time to take a break from his non-stop run from the leaf to the tea.
