Gourd- the gourd is small, so it cannot carry too much sand. However, because it is small it doesn't slow down the holder or hamper any of his attacks. The gourd itself is made of sand, so in a pinch, the holder can use that as a source of sand.Personality:
Hiro is a very straight-forward person. He is not afraid to speak the truth, no matter how horrible or upsetting it may be. He carries no regard towards society or law, but only cares about the morals and laws in his own mind.Appearance:
Hiro doesn't take anything from anyone; he stands up strong for himself. He will often help people in trouble; however, he helps them more for the challenge of a good fight rather than the actual want to aid somebody.
Hiro is very earthy and plain. He has long brown hair that has a light tint to it due to the burning sun on him at all times in the deserts of the Wind Country. He has a very defined face with deep green eyes that show more emotion than his mouth could. Hiro sports his sand ninja forehead protector across his head, off centered a little to the right. He simply wears a loose buttoned white shirt, always with the top button undone. It hangs down slightly below his waste, just above the top of his beige shorts with plenty of pockets and an attached pouch for various ninja tools. He also carries a small gourd with him by his side; it doesn't hold a lot of sand, but it is light so it doesn't hamper any movement or fighting.Bloodlimit: None.
NinJutsu Techniques:
Fuuton Kaze no Senbon (Needles of the Wind)GenJutsu Techniques:
Rank: D Rank
Description: The ninja gathers air with his hands and mixes it with chakra, by doing this he transforms them into sharp and deadly needles. The needles are almost invisible so it is hard for the enemies to see them. Because the needles are made of air they cannot be blocked or deflected. The only way to ensure safety is to dodge them.
Limit: Wind Release
Gushouteki Tatsumaki no Jutsu (Material Tornado Jutsu)
Rank: C
Effect: Nearby material converges on foe.
Special: Ram, Rooster, Dragon
Drawback: Small pieces of debri, such as rocks or leaves, must be present.
Description: The user of this jutsu stands quite still, only moving his hands to form the three handsigns. Within a matter of moments, all matter of material will converge on the opponent, pelting them with a barrage of wind and debri, slowing and harming the opponent. The user, however, must continue to hold his hand out in a gesturing motion, to direct the wind towards its target.
Limit: Wind Release
Suna Hogo Sochi no Jutsu (Sand Shield)
Type: C Rank
Description: The user slams his hands down on the ground, bringing up a large amount of sand around him into the air to block attacks. The user cannot stray further than five feet away from the shield, otherwise the sand will collapse. It initially lasts up to three turns, but each time trained it will go up one turn.
Suna Bakuhatsu no Jutsu (Sand Explosion Technique)
Type: C Rank
Description: The user must be near a source of sand. Sand is gathered using chakra into a swirling ball that is hurled towards the opponent. The sand explodes on impact, causing cuts and a stinging feeling all over the target's body.
Suna Shuriken no Jutsu (Sand Shuriken Technique)
Type: D Rank
Description: Creates shurikens out of sand. Uses a small amount of chakra and uses sand and hardens it to pose as a shuriken. The sand shuriken may be created from any source of sand and launched to an opponent by the user. Requires extra chakra to "throw" the shuriken if you do not throw it yourself.
Suna Bunshin no Jutsu (Sand Clone Technique)
Type: Rank D
Description: Creates clones out of the sand. Uses small amount of chakra and requires the presence of sand to perform. It is fully functional, meaning it can attack and be attacked but it has the appearance of sand so it's useless to use as a distraction. The sand is dispersed when clone is defeated.

Hiroshi was born in the Wind Country, within the Sand Village. His father, of the same name, was an important ninja official, being one of the Kazekage's right hand men. His business was completely secretive, not even his family knew the reality of his work, but everyone did know that his father was one of the strongest shinobi in the village. Hiro lived with his mother, Ekimayaku Kasuna, and his father, but really, it was just his mother since his father was always so preoccupied with work. Hiro was an only child and really only just trained. He had a few people he could call friends that he had met at his academy, but none of which he could trust. The only person in the entire village that he cared and loved for was his mother.
One particular night, and it must have been very particular because Hiro’s father was home for an entire day, Hiro had heard shouts coming from the backyard of his house while he was preparing a delicious ramen meal. He rushed outside to see what the problem was, but he didn’t see anything. But there the shouting was again; he knew it wasn’t in his head. Hiro was only a year from graduating the academy at the time and he thought of one the lessons he had learned from his sensei…
”Now what should you do if you sense any kind of presence among you, whether it be a noise, a movement out of the corner of your eye, or even a peculiar odor?” asked the Chuunin teacher at the front of a small class.
A male student in the class replies, “Ya’ look for the source!” he says smiley widely and stupidly.” The sensei looks down and shakes his head. He stands waiting for a moment to see if any other students wanted to take a shot at the answer. Deciding his class was a lot of imbeciles, he exclaimed, “Listen! You need to concentrate and you need to focus. It is almost like molding chakra. You need to concentrate on what you’re trying to get, locate the source, and execute.” The class looked at him confused. The teacher swiftly maneuvered a kunai out of his belt and chucked it into a blank wooden wall by the side of the classroom.
“Look over there,” the teacher said. “Where are you looking?”
In unison, the class muttered “the thing you just tore threw the wall with.”
“See class,” the ninja evaluated, “when staring at something as blank as this wall, your mind doesn’t know where to look. You need to eliminate the other distractions and pinpoint the location of what it is you are looking for. If you hear something and you look around and nothing is there, you know just because you did not see anything, doesn’t mean there isn’t anything. Whatever it is you heard won’t magically stop making noise! Close your eyes and block out all of your other senses, and focus on that one, and—“
While thinking back on the memory, Hiro followed exactly as he had learned. He closed his eyes and eliminated his sight. He dismissed the smell of the ramen he was so anxious for, as well as the taste he had in his mouth in anticipation. He let go of the feeling of the warm breeze hitting his skin; all that was left was his hearing. He listened very intently and very carefully. He heard the swarming of sand blowing in the wind, he heard the ramen cooking inside his home, he heard his mothers light snores from the room upstairs where she was sleeping. He heard his own patterned breathing, rhythmically going with the sound of a chime outside the house. And then there it was the soft muffled shouts, which now seemed to be very clearly coming from his father, and coming from… the ground.
He searched the grounds frantically, realizing there were screams to accompany the shouting. He spotted thinness in the sand in the corner of the yard that seemed misplaced. Hiro sprinted over and kicked the sand in the location. Underneath: a wooden trap door. He kicks the door open with his foot, the adrenaline pumping through his veins. There was a long ladder leading to a room with flickering lights. He lets himself fall, letting the sides of the ladder run through his palms.
Hiro had reached the bottom; the screams were becoming louder and more definite, as well as the shouting. The screams were not his father’s, but the shouting was. Hiro sprinted down a hall with flickering lights, and followed the single way path until he had to stop dead. Hiro felt sick to his stomach at what he saw. On a wooden slab, up against the wall was a man, very, very bloody. He was screaming in pain and agony. Across his forehead, he was wearing the protector for the Village of Mist.
Towering over the victim was a tall powerful man, also bloodied, but not of his own. His fist was raised tall and strong over his head, holding a bloody dagger which he proceeded to cut slowly off the skin of the chained mans forearms. There were multiple slits in his arm, maybe hundreds. This man was torturing the mist ninja. This man was Hiro’s father. Hiro put his hand on the wall not being able to comprehend what was going on. His father had not spotted him yet, but the victim had. He mouthed the word ‘help’ to Hiro, not wanting to alert the torturer and risk his only chance of survival. This mouthing of the word was followed by more screams as Hiro’s father cut him more and more, shouting to tell him ‘what he knows’.
Hiro sprinted back the way he came, in tears, fearing what his father might do to him. Too afraid to tell his mother, in fear that his father would kill him and her if he knew, Hiro went straight to bed, forgetting about everything, just wanting to be at peace. He had realized before bed that his father was not any kind of serial killer, but that was probably the job that was kept so secretive: he tortured men to get withheld information, and then he killed them when he was done with them. It was not a comforting thought, but he did not worry about being put in danger by his own father. That night, nightmares plagued him. The next night the same: he kept seeing the poor mist ninja asking him to help. Hiro regretted not helping him, and in the dream he tries to reach the ninja, but cannot quite reach, until the dream ends with his father cutting the man’s throat open. These nightmares plagued him until one fateful day seven months after the discovery.
Hiro was on his way back from the academy. He was excited because there was only a week left before he took his tests and graduated the academy and became a Genin. He opened the door to his house, calling upstairs for his mother to tell her about the progress he had made on his Henge no Jutso. “Mommm!” he called, and received no answer. “MOMMMM!” he called again. He thought, ‘oh, she is probably just sleeping like normal.’ Hiro put his bag down by the front door, when he noticed a few drops of blood right by the door. He checks his own body and decided that he wasn’t bleeding, so it must be—Hiro sprinted upstairs where more and more blood became apparent. It became grotesque with blood smeared on the floor and walls. He kicked open his mother’s door with optimistic thoughts that were surely crushed by the site he saw.
His mother was dead on the ground, with puddles of water all over the room. Her throat was cut, and her arms to the point of being skinned. On the ground was a mist ninja forehead protector; on the back there was note, it simply read:
You kill ours and we kill yours.
They had come to kill his father. But…
Since that day, Hiro graduated from the academy and lived with his sensei as a temporary place to stay until he could afford an apartment of his own. Eventually, he was able to move out into a new apartment. Hiro refused to live in his old house. Hiro had never seen his dad since. He blamed himself for his mother’s death because he had not saved the mist ninja, but he mostly blamed his father for running away and letting his wife get killed. Hiro made a vow to find his father one day and end his life the way he ended his wife’s.
