Takeshi is passive, but steady. He tends to just go with the flow of things and wing it, but if he hits an obstacle he powers his way through it with either physical strength or ability of the mind. He doesn’t like to yield unless it is necessary and those looking to bully him always receive a rude awakening.Appearance:
When he is alone he is more introverted, quiet, and he likes to talk to himself at times. It’s a calming thing for him, but some people think he’s slightly loose in the head. He rarely goes around to begin an acquaintance and prefers the opportunity look for him rather than him look for it. He’ll never pass up a good time if it's offered, but he’s rarely the leader of such a foray into the social life.
In his interactions with others he is usually outwardly friendly, though when meeting new people he can seem socially awkward, finding conversation more difficult to find than others might. He tries to be rational, but never fears letting his imagination loose now and then. He is clever and somewhat difficult to trick – few who have tried have told the story, meaning they either died as a result or they were too frightened to give voice to their story. Depending on his mood he can be tidy or messy. He is strongly favorable towards remaining in good shape. One of his favorite exercises is running for hours. He doesn’t mind finding a place to swim all day, either. He is an exceptional swimmer, faster than most he has met.
He has a strong desire to learn all the techniques he can. He shows special promise in Lightning, Ice, and Water, but he wants try delving into the secrets of Fire, Wind, Healing and Sound at some point, if he even can. Earth is not a very appealing aspect of combat to him. The reason for his thirst for knowledge is so that he’ll never be as helpless as he had been a decade earlier.
He has a fear of being in situations where he is unaware and powerless to do anything, and this may cause him to do rash things or react brazenly. Sometimes he can get ahead of himself. He also has a slight temper, though he rarely gives it an outward manifestation in the form of violence, knowing full well he could hurt others. He can’t stand false heroism and bravado, nor does he wish to interact with haughty people.
Among his favorite things are playing music, swimming, running, training and missions, getting paid, women, writing and reading.
Takeshi has white, epicanthic eyes. He is lean and slender standing at 5'6” and weighing 120 pounds, but his endurance and the amount of damage he can give is amazing to other students. He has empty white eyes, making many of those who see him think he is blind, hence his nickname, “Blind,” though his eyes are hardly the reason that nickname sticks with him anymore. His black hair is relatively short and unkempt. His idea of good grooming is just pushing his hair to where he wants it to be and leaving it at that. He has a face and body that is pleasant to look at.Bloodlimit:
He carries two wakizashi securely strapped to the lateral sides of his thighs. He wears three black shirts during leisure time. One is short sleeved, very thin and snug beneath a normal-sized long sleeve shirt, and then atop that is a loose, soft button-down shirt and dark gray pants with several pockets where he keeps shuriken, scrolls, notes, smoke bombs and other incendiary devices, and kunai. On his back he carries his amethyst flute like a sack with a strap around his torso. Around his neck is a pendant holding a small banded agate stone.
If he travels without a shirt, two massive scars can be seen crossing his left shoulder and right pectoral muscle. The scar on the shoulder wraps around it stopping at mid-sternum, the pectoral scar is about thirteen inches long reaching as far down as the middle-upper region of his abdomen. He has several others, but those are the most eye-catching. He also has large, but faded, scars from several years earlier on his wrists and the undersides of his forearms that from crosses at his wrists.

His parents were old, yet loving and happy. Takeshi was the first son born into his family. Ahead of him were three sisters: Amaya, the youngest, Aya, and the eldest, Kotone. Amaya became a ninja and went on many missions. Aya and Kotone went on to get married to successful shinobi and had several children between the two of them that they let Takeshi help take care of. All the kids loved to listen to him play his ivory flute. He loved to play its sweet music and often affected peoples' moods thoroughly with it, strongly moving them to tears, laughter, love, and other emotions.History:
Amaya taught him something of chakra and fighting so that he could fend off animals while taking their nieces and nephews out to play as their fathers were out on missions. One wintry day, during his tenth year, he was taking Aya’s four children, two boys and two girls, to Kotone’s home and when an enemy Shinobi ambushed them. The symbol on his forehead protector was unrecognizable to him, but he didn’t have long to gaze upon it. Takeshi was struck by two sharp blows that left him with large gashes on his chest and shoulder launching him into a patch of evergreens, hitting it awkwardly so that he was stunned, but still conscious. He heard his nephews’ and nieces’ screams as a shrill noise was let loose until he lost consciousness from being so still in the cold. It sounded like music, but it was in such disarray and chaos that it felt as if the notes shorn away at his mind.
When he woke he rose unsteadily and saw that his ivory flute had crumbled - or it may have shattered. As he sluggishly stepped forward to look for his kin, he gasped. It wasn’t gruesome by any stretch of the imagination – it was beautiful. It was something he was completely unprepared for. The clearing was coated by a thin, almost ethereal pall of snow covered them all. There was no blood; there was not even a scratch on the bodies. The only thing that marred of bitter beauty of it all was each of their faces contorted in intense fear, panic, and pain. He could still feel the intense pounding in his head from the music.
The thing that struck him the hardest, though, was that he hadn’t been able to protect them. It chilled him to the bone and to his heart. He’d been helpless throughout the time that his kin was tortured. He had driven away animals and simple creepy stalkers before, but he couldn’t stand up to whatever had assailed them that day.
After much crying and mourning, he carried each of the children the rest of the way to his sister’s home. He was spurned and rejected because of the sudden grief his parents and sisters felt. They couldn't find any other way to deal with the horror of the situation. In shame, he walked away from the house without seeing his Shinobi sister or his brothers-in-law.
Amaya walked through the door later in the night and looked upon the family and bodies at the aftermath of what had happened. She, too, was stunned by the news, but when she saw that Takeshi was nowhere to be found, she left to look for him. After some time she found him, but he did not want to talk; he didn’t even acknowledge her presence as he numbly trudged onward. Instead of trying to remedy the rift that now rested between her brother and the rest of the family, she simply walked with him and guided his steps to the ninja academy, believing it would be the only way to get her prized little brother back.
His demeanor did not improve much. He was quiet and withdrawn and he had even tried committing suicide a couple of times, as noted by the large scars running the tip of a kunai up and across his wrists. On many occasions he picked fights and would not even fight back, constantly taunting older kids so they wouldn’t stop their onslaught. Amaya taught him a more detailed and simpler version of the art of ninjutsu and combat. The combat helped his skills improve and the personal aspects of the exercise helped improve his attitude, if only a little.
As a present, she bought him an amethyst flute with an embedded green jade stone crafted in the same fashion as his old ivory flute. She said they drew to the owner good fortune and prosperous health and the jade helped one to see things clearly, helping remove the clouds enshrouding the Third Eye. He could feel both materials resonate with his soul and since that time a noticeable decline was seen as far as his depressive thoughts and actions, especially after meditation and playing the instrument.
He played the flute every day, not noticing or caring if anyone liked what notes he let wander through the air. Either way it was a good source of steady income while he wasn’t on any missions. Some days it was chaotic, others it was so sweet it that to children made candy look sour, much to some mothers’ delight. Some people said the music gave them headaches, others said it brightened their day. Others said he could probably make his music more than just notes as they glanced at his forehead protector.
Whether or not anyone said something he would still play because he could tell it helped keep his own mind at ease. It helped him concentrate and convert negative energy into positive. He began to speak the notes to himself and eventually could almost hear the tunes as he dreamt them up, allowing him to critique it further. Sometimes he tried to put lyrics to it. Though his attitude improved, he still remained shy before others.
When he was 12 he graduated the academy and became a Genin. He trains as he can and is trying to learn new abilities wherever they present themselves. His sensei wanted him to hold back from the Chuunin exam, worried about his state of mind now that the new, less trying exam was in practice. There was much potential seen in Takeshi, but his talents currently are not exactly what one would call prodigious at the present time. There lies for him only the potential to be gained.
