[Our] Mission

Adaliah sighed heavily for a moment, before straightening herself up. She was maybe a mile or two outside of the capital. She stop for a few moments, slowly turning her head to look around. No sign of the young gennin yet. Her lips contorted to one side before she huffed. She would have to wait for the welp now...

Who was this person that Ryo was going on a mission with? Was it just one person or was it more than one? Why did he care? Why was he asking himself questions? He sighed. It hadn't taken him long at all to get from the Kage Tower to the Wind Capital City simply because he had traveled between the two many times before. He had done it like six times during the course of one mission where he had to be a diplomat between Sand and Leaf. It didn't take long before Ryo saw the other person on the mission with him. It was a chick, the only other person to have a Sand headband on it seemed. "A Chunin, perhaps? Doesn't look like a Genin..." Ryo muttered to himself as he lazily walked over to her.

He tightened his grip on his gourd, slanting it onto one shoulder slightly. He was in the middle of a hot desert with a black sweatshirt on, go figure. He was one of a kind, to say the least. He had short, blonde hair but it was covered due to the fact that his hood was pulled up and over. His red eyes scanned the other Sand shinobi for a moment. "Yo."

He certainly didn't seem like a ninja.

Having been told that he was to go on this mission, the little Robin ran his way to the capital city, as fast as his little legs could carry him there. He hoped that he would find them as he was told that they had left already. He didnt have really any description of them, but he knew he would find them eventually. Making his way all the way to the capital city, he got there to see a female shinobi there, though he wasnt good at guessing ages, and a male shinobi who had walked up to her. He got there to hear him great her before he stopped to catch his breath. He had ran at a fairly fast pace, and was now incredibly tired. Theres the drawback to being so small. He knew that they were sand shinobi because he saw the sand village headbands on them. Walking up to them, though still catching his breath, he didnt say much. Should they consider him a child who just wandered out of the village, he would just show them his headband which was tied around his right arm.

The woman closed her eyes for a moment, and sighed softly. She wanted to get this mission done and over with. She had other...important matters to deal with. She opened her darker eye slightly, hearing movement. Adaliah tilted her head some, a young man come into view. Adaliah looked him over for a few moments; of couse he didn't seem like a nin at all, she wasn't one to judge though. What her attention the most was the boy's eyes that pierced through the hoody. A small smile appeared upon her face. " 'Ello there."

The woman's head then turned towards the direction of the village. She tilted it to the side, slightly confused. Was that a...child running towards them? She really couldn't judge on this one either. Her former God child wasn't exactly the tallest gennin in the village either. She watched as the boy approached them, panting. She wasn't going to bother questioning his age...

"Hello," she said kindly, placing her hand behind her back. "My name is Adaliah, call me whatever but, that is my name." She took a couple of steps to the left before facing them again. "Alright now, the mission is very simple, but highly important. We need to travel over to the capital and collect their hospital records. Birth certificates, deaths, etc. Afterwards, we have to travel to every other city in Sand and collect their records also. Simple enough?"

The girl, who Ryo was more assured was a Chunin just be the way she held herself, greeted him and then they both turned toward the direction of the village where another seemed to be coming from to join them. He was very small and seemed very young by the looks of it, but Ryo wasn't going to judge him just based off of his appearance. It was from the personality and the combat that Ryo decided if he liked the person or not. Appearances mean nothing. At first the sand manipulator was even skeptical of this kid being a ninja, but then the headband was spotted so he didn't bring that up.

She doesn't seem to care 'bout either one of us. She seems to just want this to be over with... Kinda like me... Ryo thought as he looked back and forth between the two. "Yakuta Ryo, by the way," he said after a small pause, making him seem a bit foolish, but he shrugged it off. "There aren't many cities in the Wind Country that have hospitals with record organizations, so it shouldn't take us too long." He spoke in a monotone voice as he already started walking through the gates of the Wind Capital.

"Let's just go..."

'Adaliah and Ryo? Alright. hopefully I can remember that. I hope I wont be too much of a burden. They actually acted a lot nicer then I thought so' Robin thought after hearing their introductions, and added information as well. "Wow! We're going all over the wind country? Thats so cool! Im Robin by the way! Nice to meet you!" He said then grinning his usual grin (See avatar for what it... somewhat looks like.) Then he thought 'I hope they know their way around. I dont know much of this place at all. Hitobi never let me leave the house before, so I never stepped foot out of the sand village. Well, besides when I was born.' He then waited to go on to do this mission. He kinda wished Taiki was here. He liked Taiki. He was a cool guy to Robin.

Adaliah's bi-colored gaze glanced at the Ryo boy for a moment and sighed once more. If it was another one of those most serious of people, she'll go insane. No one knows how to have fun nowadays. "Yes, I know this already..." she mumbled softly, shaking her head a bit. A small frown formed her lips as she placed her hands behind her head as she watched Ryo walk ahead of the two. "Hey now..." she said in a cheery voice. "No need to be in a rush." Her lip twitched, due to her statement being a slight lie. She shrugged her bare shoulders and walked forward...

"Ryo and Robin..." she muttered softly to herself, keeping their names in mind. "Hmm, I say after we return home, we go out for a treat," she said to both as she walked through the gates of the Capital. She smiled slightly before tapping her chin lightly. "Out of pure curiousity, how old might you two be?" she asked, before looking towards the hospital which was only about thirty meters ahead of them.

Seemed like this chick and Ryo weren't exactly the same after all; he was in a rush to get this complete whereas she seemed to be a bit more laid back then he thought. He stopped when she said there was no need to be in a rush. Though he didn't really like that statement, he wouldn't argue with it for the sake of just getting this done. Instead he stuck his hands into his sweatshirt pocket and just waited for the two to catch up, and that was when she started talking once more. He had their names down. He was good with names and faces, just not as good with times and dates. He walked at the same pace as them.

"A treat sounds good to me," Ryo said as he nodded slightly to his own comment, smiling very lightly. Maybe he would have a stable team for once. That'd be nice, especially if his assumption of Adaliah being a Chunin was correct, for that meant they could take on a bit more dangerous missions. This wasn't exactly fun or exciting in the least, but it counted as a B-Rank, so Ryo would take it with honor and please his village. "I am fourteen..." He said just loud enough for both of them to hear. "You?" He would say after Robin answered as well.

She's about my height, but seems so much older... He's definitely younger, but by how much?

Walking along side of them, Robin got slightly excited when she stated the thing about the treat. Then she asked their ages, and he heard the Ryo was 14. 'Hes only a year older then me? Wow' He thought, as he said "Im 13 years old" Then he heard Ryo's question asking her own age. He wondered at the slight interest in their ages, though he had a feeling that Adaliah was just asking to get the answer out of him. Robins age was something that made everyone wonder.

He then thought back into his own little world, wondering if he would get to meet the Kage when the got back to the village. He didnt get to when he left for the mission because the ANBU who told him about it told him to just leave. Robin, never being one to take charge of much of anything, just followed and left as he was told. And doing so allowed him to meet Adaliah and Ryo, but he still wanted to meet the new.... err.... old Kazekage. Either way, it was a Kazekage, and that was good enough for him.

Adaliah's smile broadened slightly hearing Ryo comment about the treat. "Good...But, I'm not paying," she said playfully. She nodded her head slightly, hearing his age. "Fourteen...And you?" she said, turning towards Robin. She stopped in mid-step hearing his age. Her eyes widened a bit, letting her foot return towards the earth. She held up her index finger towards Ryo after hearing his question, asking for a moment. Adaliah then took her hand and petted Robin lightly on top of his head. She couldn't help but laugh softly, before coughing a bit. "Sorry," she appologized, "I had to do that..."

She then turned towards Ryo, her lips contorting to one side. "How old am I?" she asked, repeating his question. "You two make me feel rather old" she said with a light chuckle. "I am twenty-one years old. I have no problem admitting it unlike some of the hags back in the village." She chuckled once more. She then looked towards the hospital again and sighed. "Alright now, we need to figure out how to transport the records back to the village. I have an idea or two but, I want to hear if you two have some also."

[Sorry for taking so long, someone is distracting me...]

The comment about the pay made Ryo chuckle slightly. He still had over ten thousand Ryo due to him never spending any of it from his previous missions. He didn't really need to buy anything with it since he was a Ninjutsu Master and kept himself at a distance already. He had bought some weapons rather recently for a combination he had thought of, but hadn't really tested it out yet. He came out of his own little world shortly after thinking this. And Ryo even let off another little chuckle when Adaliah patted Robin on the top of his head. He was rather young, but that didn't discourage Ryo in any way. He seemed to have a rather cheerful spirit. These people were bringing out a lighter side in Ryo... But it wouldn't last for long.

When the team approached the hospital Ryo stopped and put his hand on his chin, thinking about it for a little while. "Well, I'd rather not waste time for all of us to go back to the village when it is unnecessary. I don't think any of us have any pets or pet summonings. So either just send one person back or strap the records with an ANBU and send him back. There should be some by the gate..." Ryo said, looking back a bit. He then turned to Robin for any suggestions.

Feeling his head patted, Robin felt like a little kid again... though, he usually felt like a little kid... Either way, he smiled a bit, then said "Its okay. I get it all the time." Then they continued walking until they made it to the hospital. When they got there, Robin heard of Ryo's suggestions. "Hmm... well, Im not too sure what we should do. Besides that, I suppose we could leave this one for now, and use it as a storage place, gathering all the others, and bringing them back here when we go to another hospital, then at the end, grab the records here, then take them all back to the village." He said this in a quiet tone so not to show what they were doing. He was told that this was going to be a mission that wouldnt require much fighting, but he didnt know who might be around that could overhear them.

Adaliah tapped her chin lightly as she scanned the building in front of her being. She'd listen to Ryo's suggestion and nod her head slightly, then turn towards Robin for his. "Both are very good..." she stated quietly, looking at both of the boys. "Though, I do like Robin's idea." She scratched the back of her head lightly, closing her darker eye as she throught for another moment. "We'll store the records here, and once we're done we'll gather up a couple of volunteers and head on out. Sound alright?" she asked with a small smile on her face. If the two would agree, Adaliah would quietly step into the hospital...

Listening to Robin's suggestion, even Ryo would have to agree that storing the records and using the hospital as an HQ was the best idea. He nodded, shrugging as he always did. "That's fine by me, I like this idea better than my own anyhow." He said as he took a few more steps toward the hospital, not getting too far ahead, but obviously just wanting to get this done. He still had some training and other missions to do; he couldn't just waste all his time on this. He did things for himself, and nobody else. He felt his face start to get a bit more serious. This wasn't playtime... This was game-time...

Smiling because they liked his suggestion, Robin followed them inside, though he didnt feel like talking to them. Ever since his parents were killed in a hospital, he hasnt liked them very much, so he just remained silent while he would let Adaliah or Ryo take care of talking to them. His smile faded almost as soon as he got inside because flashes of what he could think about happened to his parents, as well as all the horrible memories of Hitobi. He had to try as hard as he could to not cry while they were in here. He started wondering why he took this mission in the first place.

Adaliah looked around, scanning the office like she did the last time. Again, soft music was playing to keep waiting patients calm. Though, it was awfully quiet dor some reason. She looked at her partners in crime, when she stopped to look at Robin. Even though she has known him for a few minutes, he seemed quite the opposite than he was before. Was it the hospital? She shrugged her shoulders, not sure what it was but, she didn't like seeing him like this. She reached down into her pocket near her thigh, unzipped it and took out a few singles. Adaliah turned towards Robin and bent over, looking at him. "Hey, wanna do me a favor? There is a drink stand right outside. Will you buy all of us a drink? We should be done in a few moments." she asked him softly, smiling. If he would take the money and leave, Adaliah would straighten herself up and sigh softly, turning to face the office again.

Adaliah flashed a small smile at Ryo before approaching the front desk. She would lean over for a moment, waiting for Ryo, if he wanted to be in. She'd then whip out the mission scroll and show the nurse who was working at the desk. "May we please use this building to store other Hospital records?" "One moment, please." the nurse said, standing up. Adaliah sighed softly and turned towards Ryo. "Having fun yet?

Whoever was the person controlling Ryo before, he was different now. He had acted a bit happier before, but the regular mood of the Yakuta boy was to look after himself and not care about anybody else. He held respect for Nirashi, Jekren, and maybe just a little bit for his Kazekage, but these two weren't really on his list of respected people. He noticed something up with Robin and Adaliah told him to go get the trio some drinks. He stuck his hands into the pocket of his sweatshirt and yawned quite loudly. He looked over at Adaliah as she smiled and they approached the desk. Fun yet? "Tons..." He looked around a bit, seeing many people with common sicknesses and a few with more serious conditions, like from battles. "This place makes anyone uneasy..."

Adaliah had noticed Robin's change in personality, something he didnt really want happening. Either way, she handed him a little money and told him to go and get them some drinks. Not wanting to make some big scene saying things like 'im fine' or 'I dont need to, im good in here' he took the money and started walking out. But before he did, he noticed that Ryo seemed to have a change in personality as well. Instead of his more serious look, he seemed to have more of a cheerful personality, if only just a bit of one.

Walking outside of the hospital, Robin got the drinks and sat down on a bench with them, and waited for Ryo and Adaliah to come out of the hospital. He didnt like being separated from his team.

The woman sighed softly as she watched the small boy exit the building. She then turned towards Ryo, who surprisingly answered her silly question. Adaliah rolled her eyes a bit, rubbing her forehead. "Well, if you need to step outside also, go right ahead," she said softly, so that only the two would hear. The nurse came back, nodding her head. "You may use our rooms." Adaliah smiled at the nurse kindly and nodded her head once. "Thank you..." She then turned away, facing the exit now. "Shall we leave now?"

[Was rushed]

Still looking around, and basically ignoring the Chunin he was randomly placed with, Ryo saw a person rushed in. He saw a Sand Village headband on the guy's right shoulder and a lot of blood oozing out of his stomach. There were many people shouting around him as a playful smirk crossed Ryo's face. He then looked back to the nurse as she said that the team could use the hospital as a headquarters for the time being. He nodded slightly, murmuring a thanks, before turning to go outside and meet back with Robin. Hopefully by the time Ryo got back the kid would've already had the drinks. He sighed.

Can't this be over already?
