Its been months since Kisuke had begun his search for the master of the Storm Leg. He went through alot and his supplies were running scarce. He had little money and he was becoming desperate. He knew that he had must've searched half the country to look for this man.
As Kisuke walked on, he came to a rather large village. "Hmm, Where am I now?" Kisuke looked around and saw a family of four, two parents and 2 children. He walked up to the family and asked where he was. They replied that they were in the Earth city capital. "Thank you very much." Kisuke said and the father nodded with a smile walking off with his beloved family.
Kisuke turned to look back down the main street. It was a big city indeed and there is a good chance that the master of the fighting style he longed for resided there.
Kisuke checked all sorts of shops. He came across hot baths, beauty salons, hospitals, parks, schools and bars. The one that interested him the most was the weapon shop. It held all sorts of weapons and accessories. The short ranged weapons didn't catch his eye at all. He went straight to the Archer section and saw the beautiful bows, crossbows and arrows. All of them had a distinct personality to them. Sadly, Kisuke had no money for them and he was starting to get hungry.
He walked out of the shop depressed. "I will get my hand on one of those other bows, but for now, I have to eat. Damn, I hate to be hungry." Kisuke wondered over to one of the many restaurants in the city. It was a bar as well so he may get some information about who he was looking for. After all, rumors spread fast even though most aren't the real truth.
Kisuke had a seat at the bartender table. He felt tired and was thinking about going back home to the Rain country. The bartender came with his order and Kisuke gave him the rest of the money he had. He gave him a little extra but he wouldn't be able to buy anything else with it. "Hey, Kid. You gave me a little too much. Here, take some back." Kisuke looked up at the bartender with a hopeless face, "Nah, I don't need it... I can always get some more." Kisuke was obviously lying but he didn't care.
The bartender looked at the kid with a concerned look. "Hey, kid. Whats the matter with you, eh? Eat. That food was made by none other than me. Heh, its guaranteed that it'll wash away all your troubles." Kisuke looked at the man, "You see, I've been looking for a master of the storm leg fighting style that lives in this country. My search has gone on for months and still no luck. I've lost hope now and I decided to go back home. By the way, thanks alot for the meal. I hope you're right...I could do away with this depression."
Kisuke dipped the spoon in the mixed soup and took a sip. He felt the warm liquid slide down his esophagus and into his stomach. The dazzling sauce made Kisuke feel warm as it soothed his insides and tingled his taste buds. A tear crawled down his left cheek and a smile was slowly formed. "THIS...IS...THE...B-BEST THING I EVER ATE!" Kisuke yelled with all his heart. It was indeed the best thing he had ever tasted in his entire life.
The bartender smiled at the boy, gaining an interest in him. He didn't really want to go back into teaching his fighting style but this one had promise. He had been searching for the master of the style for months and even after using everything he had, he still searched, even though he intended to give up shortly. That was enough for him. This boy would be his next pupil. His determination on his search and his love for the bartender's food would earn him the spot.
"Hey, kid. Guess what?" Kisuke looked at the bartender with pieces of food all over his mouth. He wiped off his face, "Yes, mister? Sorry, but I haven't quite gotten your name." The bartender laughed. "The name is Sanji. I'm the one you have been looking for, kid. I guess today is your lucky day huh? I say that because starting today, you will be my new student." Kisuke dropped his spoon along with his jaw and fell back. He was stunned at what the man had said but at the same time relieved.
"Hey, kid. You okay? Oh yeah, as my new student its only fair that I know your name." Kisuke sprung up in a sitting position with his legs crossed. "My name is Kisuke, sir. Are you sure its okay for me to call you Sanji sir?" Sanji extended his hand to help the boy up. "Eh, I don't care much for that formal talk and stuff...Call me what you want. Kisuke nodded and grabbed Sanji's hand. "I'll call you Sanji-kun then if its fine with you." Sanji pulled his new apprentice up to his feet. "Like I said, whatever you want. I'm off for the next week so training begins tomorrow. Got it?"
Kisuke was now on his feet. "Okay, Sanji-kun. Understood." Although he had found the master, there was still another problem Kisuke had to tend to. He was homeless and had no money. "Umm...Sorry for the trouble but...I have no place to stay and no money." Sanji laughed again. "Do you know what it means to be my apprentice kid? We're like brothers now. Mi casa es su casa...Or whatever the hell they say. Our house is located west of this city in the mountains. Feel free to go there anytime you're ready, just make sure you're there by tommorow." Kisuke bowed to his mentor and walked out. He decided to do a little more site seeing before he would go to his new home. His long search was finally over. Now he could continue to become stronger.
