A Spot of Tea, OR; Who Is This Guy?! [Invite Only]

Kaorin continued walking now, her steps being cool and collected as she was being trailed by the man who had named himself as Fina. Finally, they would come across a little cafe at the corner of a street, with a large set of tables both outside and inside. The outside tables had little umbrellas to block out the sun, but the sun didn't really bother her too much in Kusa no Kuni. She would sit down at the table, finding a menu, and from there would wait for Fina to sit down and for a waiter/ess to come and take their order.

Quiet and observant, Fina remained close behind his newest "acquaintance," though his trailing abilities came not through friendship but instead through caution and lack of trust; according to the Bingo Book, this girl could rip waves of men apart. Still, Fina couldn't help but feel an odd feeling of comfort around her...shrugging it off for now, he would sit at her chosen table, partially smiling yet saying nothing. When their waitress left them to enjoy their own company, Fina would speak.

"Of all places, why are you here?"

As the young man took a seat right next to them, a lady would come out of the main building with a notepad. Her hair was a beautiful long blonde and she had a killer face- there was no wonder in Kaorin's mind that the girl was a waitress. She probably made a killer amount in tips. However, as she came to take her order, Kaorin didn't say anything to Fina, almost ignoring him for a moment, and simply smiled and ordered an iced tea. The lady would then turn to Fina and await for him to order. After he had spoken, the girl would turn on her heels and walk back inside.

With the girl leaving, Kaorin would then turn her attention back to Fina. The smile still on her face, she thought for a moment before continuing. "Well, that is a difficult question to answer, Fina. In truth, I was simply traveling, and Kusa no Kuni was far from my ultimate destination. Instead, I found myself in the mood for a shopping trip and, since I was in Kusa no Kuni, I came to the capital city. Your shops here, by the way, are, in general, absolutely dreadful." She would let out a sigh at that point, kind of turning her head downwards in dejection. If nothing else, she could attempt to make Fina question the Bingo Book's article on her. She knew that it wasn't a large one- she had seen the article herself, and while it said she was dangerous, that was about it.

At this point, the waitress would be walking back out with Kaorin's drink and whatever Fina had ordered, whether it be nothing or not. Kaorin would take a sip of her drink as the Waitress would walk away. The tea was good.

To the waitress minimal attention was given, not the kind to earn him the title of grand jerk, but instead as a very uninterested customer. At the moment, nothing related to personal preference would be revealed to the girl before him…she, however, had no problem in leading the nonchalant charge, ordering an ice tea promptly. Silent, Fina’s emotionless expression remained unchanging, his gaze frozen on the girl’s figure until she disappeared around the corner. Midst his daydream, Kaorin’s voice brought him back to life. While it’d appear as if her words initially had fallen on deaf ears, Fina’s would produce a delayed response, several seconds later.

“…I don’t have much time, but you’re interesting; what village are you from?”

As Kaorin deliberated on her words, Fina would notice the entry of several masked figures, their shadowy silhouettes standing out amongst the sea of normal living people. Although initially they offered no explanation as to their presence, the “leader” of the pack would gently approach Fina, leaning in to his left ear in order to relay a message of utmost importance. During the reception of such dire news, Fina’s eyes would go wide momentarily before an unconscious gasp was emitted; seconds after that, the Uchiha would find himself on his feet, apologizing for his rudeness.

“I’m sorry, Kaorin, but I’ve got some very important business to take care of. But I’m still interested…”

As he got up, the napkin nearest to him would receive a torn edge, the broken piece of paper used to write down some information for the girl.

“Come to the Green Dragon hotel down the street and ask for me. Tell them you’re my cousin. They’ll be expecting you so they’ll bring you to me.”

And with that he was off, disappearing around the corner and onto the streets, where the fate of an entire village now rested on his shoulders.
