The Capital City of Kusagakure. They were very dangerous at night. But adding in a fog would just make everything worse. The growling of a dog could be heard. Blood would be splattered on the surrounding walls and the ground. A dog. A Chomper some called it. eating the flesh of another dog. But the one eating... there was something wrong with it. It, had no skin. A grotesque, decaying ape-like creature would be lurking around a building, coming back from killing a man with his two very large Cleavers. And it was a New Type. Anyone that would come across this would surely not get out alive. Or would they? Because there were more. More creatures roaming Kusa no Kuni and the Capital City.

[Afuro Shirai-Ryu]

The soft gravel along the road could be heard as the warrior slowly walked on. The smell of blood emitted in the air as his eyes peered out in all directions. The warrior wore his normal clothing, the Kimono along his back, keeping the same old tradition of a samurai warrior as it was in the color of gray, black, and white, nothing flashy, nothing to outrageous for the young man. His white eyes peered off in all directions as he glanced on through as the fog began to grow thicker and thicker. A small cigarette was placed between his lips as he pushed on through heading within the fog the smoke. Along the warrior's feet was the smooth "Taki" which were the samurai equivalent of socks as his sandals were placed along his feet nice and neatly.

His afro swayed within the wind showing the sheer size of his hair reaching perhaps down to his middle back. Along the young man's left side was a Wakizashi with a crimson like hilt, that is twenty four inches in length along the blade, and a Katana with an obsidian hilt wrapped in cloth that is 66 inches in length from blade to hilt.

As the young warrior walked on through the cigarette was played within his mouth as it stayed gently, not even being lit for he did not want to give away his position. He knew many creatures were in here, he knew many were dead as a soft sigh would escape the young man's mouth. 'What I would do for the demon to appear,' he thought to himself as his eyes slowly began to pop some. The veins along his eyes slowly began to show as the vision that haunted the man in the past slowly began to appear. The vision to see all around was showing more and more as he then noticed he could see within the radius of fifty meters in all directions.

The young warrior quickly grabbed his forehead as he looked down and smiled some giving out a light nod. 'Good the demon is here,' he said to himself within his mind as he was simply commenting on his eyes capabilities. Odd a twenty two year old man would never have known what he was, or who he was, a man of power, a man of great linage. Oh the horror of that liniage when this man figures out what he would be. The man would see everything within the fifty meter radius, he would see how many creatures there would be, he would see the size, and know the distance that they would be.

The warrior's nimble hands gently grasped against his katana with his right hand as he quickly unsheathed it, the sound of a weapon being unsheathed sounded as he swirled it around quickly along his right side seeing all that would be around as he concentrated his chakra within the blade of the sword pushing it through. With a fast spin the warrior quickly slammed the blade back into the sheathe as the sheathe slowly vibrated, as the concentrated power was left within.

Now it was the waiting game as he began to wonder if there were any survivors so he may ask a question or two.

And as the older warrior would enter the area, the Chomper's Ears would perk up as the sheath was slammed. Unsure of what the sound was, the dog would start to walk around, within the Samurai's Fifty Meter Radius of view. Forty-Three Feet away, the dog would start to walk his way, unknowingly walking to him. Another dog the was somewhat closer noticed the dog walking in his direction. It would join him, finishing it's snack on a Child's Intestine. Whilst a Grotesque Ape Creature, outside of the range of view of this samurai. Staggering along, slashing at trees and people as if they were meat in a Butchery. Would anyone back this Mau' Up?

A somewhat lengthy travel across the tall grass had finally allowed the child to reach the capital city. Though the height of the plant life had nearly gotten her lost a few times, in the end, all was well. The dark hues of her eyes glanced around quickly, however, it was difficult to see much of anything with the fog about. It wasn't overly thick... but it limited vision none the less. It did not, however, limit her sense of smell.

"Something died recently child. You didn't have fun without me by chance, did you?"

Nervously, the gennin bit at her bottom lip. She hadn't gotten in over her head, had she? The speed of her steps began to slow, suddenly very concious of the loud clicking the geta had a tendency to make. No time to stop... she had to take action. A kunai was quickly withdrawn, and the kunoichi moved, hurrying through the fog, though keeping her ears open for any sounds that may successfully direct her to these unusual beings, or better yet, some survivors that may give her details as to what exactly was going on.

She grew closer- deeper into this hellish fog, nearer to the evils that may have lurked within. Crunching- no.. ripping was heard. The tearing of flesh from it's original body. It would seem that one being had lost its life to whatever looked here... and though she heard them, she still was too far to see accurately. Something she did pick up though, and could pinpoint a bit easier, was the singing of a steel blade slipping from it's sheath, and being slammed back into it with equal force. Her head quickly snapped towards its direction, and her body froze.

'Someone else is here?'

Hopefully this other person would be friend and not foe. Either way, caution was needed. In a city full of unknown creatures that killed for the sake of killing, she herself could easily be mistaken for the enemy. And that... simply would not do. However, with that loud sound, the monsters would likely be drawn towards it. She would need to be silent, closing the distance herself. If she could see how many there were, perhaps they'd be easier to pick off.

[Afuro Shirai-Ryu]

The young warrior's vision cleared out as he saw those that were walking toward him. First the one nearest caught his eye. He slowly slid his left foot back as his right hand gently rested against the hilt of his katana. His vision saw also the young woman as she began to move through the fog somewhat blindlessly. Shaking his head thoughts of wonder began to push through as he sneered some. 'Reinforcements, please say nothing' he thought to himself for a brief moment before taking in a deep breathe.

He would take notice of the young woman, making sure she would not be harmed as he noticed the other creature far off in the distance coming closer, moving in with the other. These were the two wolves that he could see now.

In a blinding form he quickly grasped his sword as he quickly unsheathed it. Pushing forward he swung the sword forward as the power within the blade was released. The technique was known as Kaze Ryuu Hiden: Kaze Ryuu Keibatsu Katto, and within the fog perhaps it would prove useful. Where the creatures were located, with great accuracy the warrior would shoot out a vorbal, a ball of wind would appear right where the wolves were, however nothing else would be made within the fog, no line, no indication just, a massive ball of wind. The Sphere of wind would form between the two animals as it was somewhat transparent, pushing out within the distance of six feet of diameter. Then without a moments notice the vorpal sphere of wind would "explode" as shards of wind would splatter all around within a distance of two more feet around the sphere creating a ball of sharded wind within ten feet.

The warrior was not done, as he unsheathed the sword, sending out his technique he quickly slammed his sword downwards pushing out Kaze Ryuu Hiden Kaze Ryuumeisen. A great storm of wind pushed out towards the two dogs in a forty meter cone sending off hurling towards the hopefully unsuspecting creatures as the young warrior jumped back towards the young woman landing beside her as he glared forward, never keeping his eyes off of the battle field.

"Speciality" he asked her, wanting to know her capabilities. From moving positions, and hopefully with the fog still around the warrior would hope that the creatures would not know where they were.

The sounds of yelping dogs would sound off as the first of was hit by the shards of wind, slashing it to shreads. The other dog was, as predicted, thrown to the unsuspecting ape. But this was a New Type Slasher. It's moves were unpredictable. And out of the corner of it's eye, the ape would see the dogs flying at him, one's remains, the other in whole. The thing did not care. When they came into striking range, the ape would make a swift swiping movements. Slashing the whole beast of a dog into two pieces. The other remains of the other dog were slashed into more tears of flesh. Now suspicious, the ape would make it's way into the previous fifty meter veiw of the Samurai. Dropping one of the Cleavers, the ape would drag the other behind him. Wandering towards the two Grass Shinobi. Unknowingly coming into a fight it would probably not win.

The young kunoichi would freeze in her tracks once more, hearing the swish of wind and yelping of what she assumed to be creatures of the canine variety. Daring not say a word, she gripped tighter at the kunai in her hand. It truly was difficult to fight what she couldn’t see… but from the sound of it, whatever had been hit wouldn’t be getting up again. But if it did, she couldn’t be so tense… she’d need to prepare herself. Sticking the kunai between her lips, a quick series of hand seals was made, and within the child’s hands appeared ten seeds, all thanks to the seed-summoning technique. Specifically, grass seeds. She could grow and control the blades soon enough, but for now they would remained clenched between dainty fingers, her free hand reaching up to retrieve the kunai once more.

She jumped the slightest bit as she not only heard, but felt a new presence behind her. Matsuko looked up, fingers still tightly locked around the kunai, quite happy that she hadn’t decided to attack. This one was human, and an ally. At least, she would view him that way. Overly trusting with strangers, this person may have had intentions to stab her in the back the moment she took her eyes off of him. Well, the thought didn’t seem to bother her much, now did it? A happy smile crossed over the girls features, the heat of battle momentarily forgotten in her relief to see another shinobi. “Ninjutsu,” she replied. A lack of detail would hopefully get the message across that she practiced that and that only.

The navy hues would remove themselves from the man in favor of using her other senses; that of hearing. Something was approaching, though she could not see it yet. Heavy steps, and the sound of something dragging heavily along with it. Kunai in mouth once more, the seeds slipped from her hands, another series of six heandseals following. Within seconds, the strands of grass had grown at her feet, their progress sped up greatly due to Ninpou: Souseiki no Jutsu. Now she just had to wait… and hope that her new companion could see better in this than she could.

The warrior nodded as he sighed out softly hearing her speak out the word "NinJutsu," it was vague, and it was not all that indepth. It was short, and to the point. This woman, this girl was perhaps a little to trusting, or perhaps her eyesight was better then he thought one would be. The attack worked out better then he honestly had hopped but it did not bother him. There was no emotion of glory, no emotion of satisfaction within his body language as he just stood there parting his lips some letting the cigarette dangle lightly over his lip as his ears began to hear out. The other creature he could not see it just yet, but he waited patiently wanting for the opponents to come to him, especially with the sounds that have been occurring, they would indeed come to him and her.

With his right hand along the handle of his sword he slowly moved it within his kimono slowly pulling out a small little lighter. Giving it a flick he smiled some as he gently lit the cigarette, taking in a deep hit breathing in the smoke, some, holding it within his lungs as he gently let it through his nostrils. "Trap," he said calmly, as he quickly took hold of the cigarette between his pointing finger and middle as he quickly pulled his arm back hurling it into the air pushing it off a good fifteen yards forward . The smoke was used as a trail, as a mask to hopefully give off where the warriors might be, instead of where they are. He wanted the creatures to go the cigarette instead of them.

'It seemed that even they could not see within this fog, good,' the warrior thought to himself as he kept to himself within this as he still held the sword along his right hand holding it tightly. He was a man who rarely used both hands with his sword because using the blade with both hands increased his power of capabilities by one and a half. Every great samurai would know this, and he would exploit that capability. His eyes slowly wandered down noticing the young woman beginning to use what looked like seeds as the warrior continued to wait and see for those to enter his vision within fifty meters. 'Wood user, I will speak with you later,' he thought to himself as he just continued to wait patiently for the right moment. The moment anything would enter his vision he would speak out in a soft tone waiting. His speech would be soft, accurate, and to the point. If a creature would enter his vision along the left he would say "Nine O'clock fifty meters," if it was straight ahead he would say "Twelve O'Clock fifty meters," telling her where they were. Every ten meters from that he would gently tap on her shoulder with his free hand the amount of meters, four taps for forty meters, three taps for thirty meters, as he waited hoping whatever was out there would stop at the Cigarette.

Oh, the warriors' trap had worked. But not in the way that he would have liked. The smoke inhalation would enrage the beast, making it grasp the blade it carried with both hands and charge forward. Not knowing where it was going, the ape would not activate any attack and keep itself open to attack. The beast was not the smartest of the bunch. But as it ran, the ape would move from the straight dash, to the left. A civilian in it's way, the ape would swing it's cleaver, slashing it out the way. The entire body would slice in half. Still running, fast, at the left direction, still at the two. But not meaning to kill them, for it didn't know they were there. Until it would be too late most likely.

The warrior stood there calmly as everything was occurring. He slowly took in a deep breathe as the creature up ahead moved forward in its blinding rage. He could see it moving towards the civilian but the warrior just stood there calmly as the person yelled out in pain being taken down from such an attack. The warrior slowly removed his hand from the young girl as he walked in front of her as the creature then began to move back towards the man and child once again. "Stay here" he said calmly taking a few steps forward as quickly sheathed his sword.

Everything was moving within in sync, he knew that the creature would be upon them in a blink of an eye so the warrior had to move fast. He quickly slid his left foot backwards as his hand gently rested along the hilt of the blade as he just waited patiently. He began to count the steps as the creature moved forward closer and closer. 'Forty meters, thirty meters, twenty meters,' he thought to himself as the creature waved around greatly. As the creature reached about ten meters the warrior then softly parted his lips speaking out "Kaze Ryuu Hiden: Kaze Ryuu Inkaten Gachan" he said calmly. With that the warrior slid along the ground using the known technique as "Inkaten". The way he slid it seemed as if a multiple of after images was created as he pushed through. The technique was a mixture of Shunshin, and After Images together at once. A wave of the warrior moving from one point to another as if moving within a blur.

As the warrior moved through the sound of a sheathing blade could be heard as the warrior would suddenly appeared behind the creature. As the trail of images would slowly disappear the technique of Afuro would make its appearance as a wave of wind blades would slash against the creature in a massive trail pushing forward in all of its glory and violence. The warrior however was not quite done, as he would appear behind the warrior using the great momentum he would quickly pivot along his right foot turning clock wise quickly around to face the creature face to face. If the first technique had hit or not, the warrior would jump forward balling up his fist as he would quickly try to slam the first knuckles against the creature's body as he would within a few miliseconds slam the full fist against the creature. This technique was known as "Futae no Kiwami (Mastery of Two Layers)" a great technique with great capabilities (B Rank technique but the power of Two "A" Rank Techniques). The first initial hit with the knuckles was used to drop the defenses that the skin of the creature may have, as the second hit would be used to break the bones of the creature within. The Power of the attack is capable of creating craters along solid ground.

His perch, the near by building. Bunka and Kanji had arrived within the capital city of Kusa no Kuni. Where was everyone? Usually, in a capital city there was a huge bustle of people, even during the night there was still some activity, but not tonight. Why? And what was with the thick mist that was blurring his vision? Hopefully all his answer would come in due time as the Kouba was half hanging out of a high wall. His cloak that he wore inside his flytrap, was upon him, tied at about the neck area, hood up, covering his lime green hair.

The rest of his upper torso would have been exposed should he not be half in a tree. It had been awhile since Bunka had any sort of fresh flesh, and he had to admit he did enjoy it so. The bright yellow eyes would glow in the dark as the Kouba tried his hardest to see what little that could be seen through the mist. The Genjutsu Master, Master of illusions was confused. What was this, Hidden Mist jutsu? No, he didn't think so anyway. Perhaps his brother would know? Maybe..........but was speaking to Kanji while he sleep such a wise choice? Bunka knew he would most likely lose control of his body back to Kanji once he woke, but there was nothing that could be done.

"Kanji..........."

"Dis betta be good....."

"Look around us brother, what do you see?"

"Nothin.............Hmmmm, Where we at?"

"The capital city, I heard rumors of some odd happenings around town and I-"

"Spare me da details, I'm tired as hell, I aint in no mood son......"

And with that, Kanji was rather angry, but all information was relayed to Kanji soon thereafter by thought from Bunka, and all was clear. This perch would not suffice, they needed to get closer, perhaps.............in the action? It was risky for someone who had basically no Taijutsu such as himself, but what could one do? Kanji, would focus chakra around his body and slowly, slide down the surface of the wall, fusing with it and back out lower down would prove to use more chakra then needed, and Kanji could still see everything this way. About 20 feet off the ground now, still half handing out the wall, he would emerge a bit more, perhaps enough to show some flytrap, his hood, and some of his upper body, just enough for the hand to break free.

Should anyone see him through the mist, it would probably freak them out and look wierd. Kusa headband wrapped firmly around his left arm, Kanji had an idea, although speaking in an odd slang Bunka could never see where he got it from, Kanji was indeed smart, clever perhaps, like a fox.... Kanji, opening his mouth and inhaling, let out but a simple whistle, that would echo throughout the quiet streets of Kusa. Whatever happens, happens.............

"Stay here."

How could she say no? A slow nod was given by the Nin-master as her new partner wandered deeper into the mist. Though fear wasn't really a common emotion felt by the Hikkaku, she did feel a sense of unease at losing the more experianced shinobi. His technique's were impressive, not just the way he fought, but the way he planned. A trap set by smoke, telling her of their targets location via gentle taps on the shoulder. Needless to say, she felt even more blind now than she had before. Regardless, the blonde refused to let nerves get to her.

It was interesting though. She was relying on almost hearing alone, and yet, this man walked right into it, as if the surroundings were crystal clear. Such abilities could always be questioned later she supposed, shrugging her shoulders, hands coming together should the need to preform a quick jutsu arise. It appeared that whatever still lurked out in the mist, this other Kusa-nin would be able to take care of it.

A whistle suddenly reached her senses, and Matsuko blinked, turning her head in the direction the noise had come from. Though curious, she couldn't help but cringe slightly, concerned over what effect the noise would have on the beast lurking about, should it live through the recent attack. The sharp noise may end up leading it her way...

At first, the beast would feel the wind slices upon it's back. Blood would splash around his back, sending it flying everywhere. Turning quickly to see nothing, the ape would soon jolt forward, eyeballs flying out of its sockets and head snapping. It's spine had cracked. Falling backward, the Ape would sweep into the death Abyss in a pool of blood. How sad.

{Well. The monsters are dead. I wanna get to Part II for Kusa. If you want more, I can, but I wanna get this over with for Kusa.}

The warrior began to look around within the eyes of the demon. Seeing nothing all around him he quickly unsheathed his sword as the sound of the sheath gliding against the sword could be heard. He gave a little nod slowly turning towards the Ape that he destroyed and quickly looted the Creature.

(Wants to know what he got, cause I am checking everything, money, weapons, etc...I know he had a weapon)

Finishing up the warrior slowly stood and walked back towards the young girl as he would gently tap against her shoulder. "Mission complete." he would say calmly, walking away, speaking no words, not a sound, just beginning to walk out of the city.

Navy hues blinked, and slowly Matsuko's hands came to drop by her sides. The whistling had attracted no creatures, and as afr as she knew, the man that had exited was perfectly alright. After all, no sudden cry of pain had been released, but she had heard a loud thud signifying something had fallen. She tilted her head curiously, watching, observing to see any shift in the fogs position.

And then he revealed himself once more, stepping forward casually, returning with a bit more he had left with. So, whatever beast that had been out there apparently was carrying a few useful items. They weren't something the blonde was interested in using, and thus, the girl would simply smile, happy to see her companion was well. A light touch on the shoulder would seem to end their time together.

"Mission complete."

"Already?" She paused for a moment, placing her hands on her hips as a few thoughts scattered about her mind. She hadn't been much help at all... and she hadn't even gotten this mans name. Her body acted against her minds will, and without realising it, her hands reached out as he attempted to leave, gripping onto the fabric of his kimono. "That was so cool!" She chirped, not much caring what volume her voice hit now that the threat was gone. "Just--- Bam! And it's dead! I wish I could do that!" Her smile only widened, releasing the grip she had on his clothing in favor of just walking beside him. "I'm Matsuko, what's your name?"

The warrior swung the giant axe placing it along his left shoulder as he took his time within his steps. The young woman moved up to him taking hold of his kimono. The warrior knew as his eyes slowly began to come back to normal. He shook his head a few times as his vision, his normal vision came back to him.

"That was so cool!" she paused for a moment the young woman spoke out in a somewhat enthusiastic voice.

"Demons" he spoke softly barely autible, speaking about his eyes, never getting used to them, was he walked heading towards the City gates.

"Just--- Bam! And it's dead! I wish I could do that!" Her smile only widened, releasing the grip she had on his clothing in favor of just walking beside him. "I'm Matsuko, what's your name?"

The man gave out a nod as then spoke out in a fast, sturdy tone with no hesitation "Akumu, Afuro" he said calmly speaking his last name first, and his first name last. The warrior slowly moved his head cocking it towards her as he gave out a little nod, a gesture of respect towards the young woman. He was glad that mission was over, but was greatly upset witt he fact that he gained no information about the situation, about what had happened, or with the fact that he did not know who sent these creatures, if even anyone did send them.

"Any information of the attacks," he would ask her calmly as he stared out in the distance having a hand against his sheathe as they walked out of the village together.

"Afuro," she repeated, the smile on her fauce never leaving for a moment, "nice to meet you." Her hands clasped together, the sleeves of her kimono long enough to drape of those dainty fingers, hiding them completely in the folds of the material. A tranquil state had placed itself upon the kunoichi, totally oblivious to any additional danger that may be lurking in the mist. When it came to Matsuko, out of sight really was out of mind. As far as she was concerned, if she couldn't see or hear it, it wasn't there.

"Information?" She looked up at the sky, a blonde brow quirked as she ran information quickly through her mind. "There was no one around to ask," she began, "... not that I could see anyway." Her geta had resumed the rather obnoxious clacking against the city streets. If she hadn't been noticed before by any others that may have lingered, they certainly noticed her now.

"What were they even?" she was terribly curious since, after all, she hadn't been able to see. Only hear what occured around her, and that alone was not enough to satisfy the young mind. Perhaps she could get something out of him as they walks.
