[Raikou!]

Raikou stands once again in the now familiar chuunin arena. Hair blowing in the cool wind, he stares down his opponent. Face deadpan, he tenses every muscle in his body waiting for the proctor to mark the start of the fight. One more time he says to himself. One more time he would need to defeat someone standing in the way of his dream. Shame that his opponent was matched with a person such as him, as of now, he had no chance of moving on in this epic tournament. This battle was as good as over.

The proctor dropped his hand and marked the beginning of the battle. Not a millisecond after the hand drops, a large blinding flash would erupt from Raikou's feet. Concealed in a cloak that wrapped his entire body, Raikou had prepared a light bomb way before the match even started. His opponent, nor any one watching would seen any sign of the attack. This unexpected flash would undoubtedly blind his opponent, at least for a long enough time for Raikou to complete his first set of moves.

As the blast erupts, Raikou jumps back and to the left. Mid air he completes a series of hand seals he began the moment he dropped the light bomb. Before he would even hit the ground, a hidden water gourd on his back would begin to send an intense mist onto the field. With in seconds the entire fields visibility would drop to zero. The moment Raikou would complete the hidden mist jutsu, just hitting the ground, he would activate his Byakugan. This combo of the Byakugan and Mist would allow Raikou complete vision of the field, and his opponent none.

Jumping back again, even further to the left, he would begin another set of hand seals. Finishing them with such speed and dexterity, Raikou empties out the rest of the water in his gourd. Mid air the water drops to the ground in a splash and instantly forms into five water clones. Raikou would land behind them peering through his clones and the mist at his opponent. Pulling out a single kunai, Raikou waits for his opponents next move.

The series of moves would take less then five seconds. The unexpected light bomb would create a quick opening for him to make his moves with no interruptions. The mist would hide his location completely and cause immense trouble for his opponent. It was only a matter of time till Raikou was the victor.

Kirigakure no Jutsu (Hidden Mist Skill)

Effect: A Skill where a user uses the water around them to create a massive mist to fill around the user.

Description: A skill which creates a very dense fog that descreases the surrounding visibility to near zero. It produces an environment perfect for a silent assassin who follows an opponent through sound. This mist can not be blown away by any type of Wind Jutsu.

Byakugan

Drawback: Byakugan user has a 360 degree field of vision, with the exception of a small blind spot behind the user's first thoracic vertebrae (as stated in the manga). Lacks the power of Analysis. This is demonstrated in an anime filler arc by Ranmaru, who created false chakra circulatory systems through the use of a dōjutsu (possibly a bloodline limit), causing the Byakugan to see inanimate objects as people and the objects themselves at the same time. However, it is not considered canon in a filler episode that a Byakugan user is unable to see the workings of such an "illusion".
Description: Can see the minuscule chakra pressure points. With the use of certain hand seals, it also has telescopic, X-ray, and thermal vision. The Byakugan is the key to Konohagakure's strongest Taijutsu, the Jūken, as it allows the user to see the chakra circulatory system of an opponent. Each level of its insight can therefore be mystified by proper means. When first learned they are capable of seeing up to fifty yards in a 360 Degree radius except for that blind spot. Each time learned this amount of distance is increased by ten yards. When the user reaches up to a distance of One hundred yards the amount of training is increased to that of "B" Rank Level Training. The amount of distance is still increased by ten. When the user reaches up to a distance of Four Hundred Yards the user is capable of seeing even further but with an amount of A Rank Training.
Limit: Must be part of the Hyuuga Bloodlimit.

Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone)

Description: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Mizu Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. The range of the clone is limited; however, it can not travel very far from the original body. If the Mizu Bunshin is injured, the clone will usually revert back into its natural water state. When first learned the user is capable of having or capable of creating up to Five Clones. Each time learned the user learns this technique the number of Clones is capable of increasing by one. The maximum amount of clones is Ten for the Difficulty Class of D Rank. For each Difficulty Rank Increase the number increases by five of maximum but learning is still one per learned.
Limit: Water Release

[Masakuni]

Shiro sighed, stepping out onto the field. In the instant the battle began, light flashed out, blinding him. He swore, stumbling back. He shook his head, trying to clear his vision slightly. Blinded, blinded, blinded... He needed another method of seeking out his foe. Thinking fast, his hands formed seals quickly. A burst of sound echoed out of his body, bouncing off the clones and returning to him in less than a second. The location of his foe and his replicas was now known to him. With a blind grin, he moved, wrapping an explosive tag around a senbon and throwing it at the mass of clones and the Hyuuga.

As it landed, hopefully piercing a clone, he would form the ram seal, smirking to himself and whispering 'Katsu'. An explosion would rip through the arena, probably clearing some of the mist in it's explosive blast. He would then form another series of hand seals, causing a mass of kikaichu to form next to him into a solid clone. He grinned, his vision beginning to return. This would be interesting. He ran in the direction of the strike, stepping into the area of cleared mist and blinking rapidly. He was outmatched, perhaps, but he would not be so easily defeated.

"Sonar" {Learned at D Rank}

Skill: Ninjutsu, supplemenatry
Effect: The user can locate the general location of enemies.
Special: Bird, Boar, Ox
Drawback: Some objects might interfere with the sonar. Low rank provides a 2-D reading (explained below). Must be learned multiple times
Description: The user performs the need handseals. From there, the user emits 3, very low pitched sound waves(via voice or weapon). The sound travels very quickly in a 360 degree radius. The low pitched sound bounces off various objects with the area and returns to the user to interpret. With this done, the user can pin point enemy movement and location in fractions of a second. The draw back to this that the sound wave only travels in a flat line until a C-rank is attained.
The user begins with 10 meters distance, increasing 20 Meters every time learned. After 50 meters, Training is moved to a C-Rank, which then allows the user to emit the sound wave in all three dimensions. Every time learned in C-ranked increase the distance to 25 meters, With a maximum of 150 meters.
Limit: Must have sound release.

Mushi Bunshin no Jutsu

Effect: Creates a clone made out of bugs.
Special: Rat, Dragon, Ram, Horse, Monkey, Dog
Drawback: Will dissipate after one solid hit.
Description: The user performs the handseals, creating a clone of bugs. This clone will dissipate after one solid hit. When the user first learns this jutsu, they are capable of only creating one Mushi Bunshin. However, with B ranked training, they may increase that number by one. This training may be performed a maximum of 9 times, allowing for a maximum ten bug clones.
Limit: Kikaichu no Jutsu

[Raikou!]

Raikou watched in astonishment as his opponent some how located him and made an attack. A senbon was thrown possibly with an exploding tag attached. Experience has taught Raikou that rarely is a projectile thrown with out an exploding tag connected to it. Raikou would call out the word "Power I" the second the projectile left his opponents hands. Immediately the clones and Raikou formed a straight line separated each by a couple of feet. With Raikou in the back of the line he was very protected from head on projectiles. Then senbon was thrown fast however, and the instant they made formation the senbon landed in the first water clone and exploded. The blast took out the first three clones, leaving just Raikou and two clones standing in front of him. Seemed his opponent was not has helpless as first thought.

Even before the explosion was completely over, Raikou had his eyes on his opponent. He watched as his opponent began to make hand seals, seeing this Raikou too began creating hand seals. He watched as his opponent created a clone out of some sort of bugs trapped in his own body. Peering closer, Raikou noticed how these bugs swarmed inside of his opponents very body. Interesting at the least. However, like a fool his opponent began to run at the point of explosion alone, leaving his clone behind. By this time, Raikou was done with the hand seals necessary for his next jutsu. Raikou's shadow suddenly stretched from his feet along the ground. First stretching to each of his clones shadows, to pick up more shadow, then to his opponent running blindly in his direction.

His opponent most likely would have no way of seeing the jutsu coming. This mist alone was enough to hide the ground from his opponents eyes, and his opponent was still half blind from the light bomb earlier. Also he ran towards Raikou and his clones, making the distance the shadow would have to travel nearly nothing. This was key, for the fact the shadows were indeed week in the mist. But using his clones shadows to travel less then five meters was an easy enough task. Odds are his opponent would be trapped in the shadow imitation jutsu without even knowing it.

His opponent would stop in his tracks, just two meters before Raikou's first clone. Wasting absolutely no time, Raikou uttered the word move as he reached down to his ankles. His clones would listen and side step slightly in two directions, and his opponent would listen as he two reached down to his ankles. Raikou kept two kunai wrapped in explosive tags taped to his ankles for the specific reason of the shadow imitation. His opponents would reach down and grab nothing while he would grab the objects in which will end his opponents life. The motion would take less then a second. Reaching down, grabbing the kunai, and flicking them at his opponent, Raikou would end this match now.

Being his opponent could make no moves of his own, chances of him dodging would be zero. The series of moves would happen so fast that by the time he realized he could not move, two kunai would be stuck in his chest. His biggest mistake was running blindly into battle and leaving his reinforcements behind. The clone made earlier would have no where enough time to save his master, being he was left were the battle begun.

With the two kunai stuck in his opponents chest, Raikou would quickly create the ram hand seal. In less a proctor jumped in. His opponent would be dead.

Kagemane no Jutsu, 影真似の術 (Shadow Imitation Technique)

Effect: The signature move of the Nara family, this jutsu allows the user to control their own shadow and merge it with their opponent's shadow, combining them. This links the movements of the user with the target; the target is subsequently forced to make any movement the user makes. It is an extremely versatile technique, as the user can contract and change the shape of their shadow, potentially grabbing multiple targets at once. The degree to which the user's shadow can be stretched is limited by its total surface area.
Special: Seals are used but unknown.
Drawback: Must Be Learned Multiple times in order to truly achieve something grand.
Description: Using the shadows of other objects, the user can extend their shadow beyond its normal range. The amount of time for which an opponent can be held is limited by the user's chakra, since the user must constantly maintain the jutsu. The jutsu is also more difficult to maintain at greater ranges or for multiple opponents, since the user's shadow must be stretched constantly. At closer ranges, it requires considerably less effort on the user's part. Additionally, the target can force their way free with enough effort, though the amount of effort required to do so is considerable. There are two tables or understandings for this technique that consists of the Difficulty class of the User as well as the Opponent, and as to how far the user is capable of using this technique. When first learned the user is only capable of using this technique at a distance of ten meters. Each time this technique is learned the distance increases by another Ten Meters. The user is capable of making their shadow split and by doing so takes up the distance of the total form of the original technique. This means that if a user has this technique to where they can use thirty meters and wishes to make this technique split to three shadows the maximum distance is ten meters per shadow.

Difficulty on Escaping: If the user is the same Difficulty Class as that of the opponent, it takes five rounds for the user to be capable of escaping if they try to escape the whole time. For every rank higher the user is from the opponent the technique lasts for one more round. For every rank the user is below the opponent the number of rounds decrease by one. Now for every two people you trap the technique decreases by holding by one round. This means that if you are a D-Difficulty Class, fighting against two D-Difficulty classes and achieved to where you have caught both of them, you can only hold them for four rounds.

[Masakuni]

Shiro, his vision now mostly cleared, could see a bit, thankfully due to the explosion burning up some of the mist. Below him, he saw the approach of a shadow or snake, something sinuous upon the ground, approaching him. Just short of two meters a burst of chakra would exit him, and seemingly he would be ensnared. The kunai would thud into his chest, a chest that dissolved into kikaichu, the result of a simple Kawarimi with his clone. Shiro grinned. His opponent had assumed that the clone had simply been forgotten.

The explosion would burn up a fair number of kikaichu, something that made Shiro grimace. Still, a sacrifice had to be made. Two Senbon, tied with wire, would fly out at Raikou, whilst Shiro skipped back, placing himself ten meters away. A jerk of the wire tied to the senbon would send the bells tinkling, sending discordant soundwaves out of them, hopefully bringing Raikou to his knees with nausea. Shiro would then body flicker forward, a kunai drawn in an effort to stab through the ninja's chest. He would appear, hopefully with the blade thudding into his foe. Given that only moments before the powerful waves of sound had echoed out, it was doubtful the foe could escape completely....

Suzu Senbon no Genkaku (Illusion Bell Needles)

Skill: NinJutsu / GenJutsu
Effect: A technique where the bells created is used at a certain frequency so then the opponent feels disoriented in which the sound affects directly along the brain making the opponent see as if perhaps they are seeing more than one after image of the user.
Special: Must have the Bells
Drawback: May affect the user if they are within the same distance.
Description: This technique lasts for one post which is enough time for the user to take the time to attack with more of a decicive and a more of an important tactical attack. When the opponent is hit with this attack the opponent feels nausious and the sense of balance is compromised to the point where the user feels they wish to throw up. As this occurs the vision of the opponent becomes blurry and doubled. With the small bell the maximum distance of this technique is ten meters.
Limit: Sound Release, must have a weapon so then the bell is affected along with it.

[Raikou!]

Raikou watched as his exploding kunai hit the mark, and with a great explosion kill his opponent. However, to Raikou's dismay, his opponent was still very much alive. It seemed Raikou had moved to quickly, and even with the powers of his Byakugan, did not notice his opponent use the Kawarimi no Jutsu. His opponent exploded into numerous small bugs, burning to the ground. Just then, Raikou noticed two senbon fly right at him. Jumping back slightly, the senbon miss their mark, oh so Raikou thought. Suddenly a terrible sound erupts from the bells. Immediately Raikou feels nauseous and off balance. It seemed his opponent was back on the offensive. Raikou would create the Ram hand seal as his opponent suddenly appeared in front of him, digging a kunai deep into his chest.

Raikou would seemingly disappear in a poof. His opponents kunai met nothing but a simple academy clone. Using Flicker Flash, Raikou body flickered (1/5) 15m on the opposite side of the arena, and left a clone behind. But that was not all he left behind. Two water clones still stood were Raikou first created them, right behind his opponent. The moment he appeared, stabbing Raikou in the chest, Raikou's clones would strike. With their opponents back turned to them, the clones would have open strikes. One would punch high, aiming for the back of their opponents head, while the other would strike low, at their opponents kidneys.

The real Raikou would appear on the other side of the arena, tripping and falling out of the body flicker. It seemed the bells attached to the senbon created a negative effect on his sense of balance and made him feel sick. It was an overall terrible feeling. Still on the ground, he peered at his opponent. His clones were now attacking the surprised and disappointed enemy. Safe in the mist, Raikou began to think how he could defeat this worthy adversary. Quickly he created a number of hand seals, and four clones would appear out of the mist. Throwing a single shuriken at his opponents direction, Raikou would send two mist clones at his opponent to keep him even more busy. His aim was not perfect due to the lingering bells effect, but it was more then enough to lead them to their opponent.

Raikou would wait for his opponents next move, and pray the effect of the bells would wear off soon.

Effect:: Creates the illusion that the user has body-flickered away in several directions at once.
Drawback: ---
Description: The user flashes the Ram handseal, then performs the body flicker. Essentially what happens is the equivalent of a bunshin is created, which flickers off in the opposite direction that the user heads in. After that, the bunshin remains stationary until the user is far out of range or it is discovered.

Oboro Bunshin no Jutsu (Mist Clone Skill)

Effect: Allows a user to create clones out of Mist.
Special: Serpent, Tiger, Dragon, Monkey, Bird, Tiger
Drawback: ----
Description: A technique which creates clones with the properties of mist. Although the clones are unable to inflict damage on an opponent, any physical attacks attempted on them pass right through. Depending on the user's class level is dependent on how well and how much the user is capable of performing at one given time. If the user is "D" Class they are capable of performing four Clones at once. If the user is "C" Class they are capable of performing eight clones at once. If the user is "B" Class they are capable of performing sixteen clones at once. If the user is "A" Class they are capable of performing thirty two clones at once. If the user is "S" Class they are capable of performing sixty four clones at once. If the user is to be considered a non NinJutsu specialist the number is reduced by two for every class level that the user becomes, and if the user is a NinJutsu Master the number increases by two for every class level they become.

[Masakuni]

Shiro growled, feeling a fist impact into his kidneys. He coughed slightly, feeling the pain of the strike. He whirled with his kunai, cutting through the water clones hopefully. As he did, a shuriken flew at him, which he dodged under, noting four more clones approaching through the still remaining mist. He growled, kicking out at one. It would simply dissolve, of course, and his eyes lit up. So... That was the game...

He pulled his flute from it's holster, touching it to his lips and beginning to play a frightening tune. Your move, he thought, his fingers twirling in a delicate melody of fear. It seemed it was a stand off, for now...

Mateki - Mugen Onsa - Demon Flute: Kiku (Fear)

Drawback: Only lasts as long as the flutist plays the tune (Can only be played for a max of 5 posts) The tune does not discriminate between friend or foe, only the flutist is unaffected.
Description: The doubt and fear the fill the victim(s) causes then to question their every action, as well as making their attacks much less effective due to the fact that they doubt it will be worth it at all, thus it is much easier for the flutist to successfully incapacitate the victim(s) of the Genjutsu; since they will fear and doubt that doing anything would help at all.
Limit: Only a Genjutsu Specialist can learn and only with a flute can it be performed.

[Raikou!]

Raikou made his way to his feet as the bell genjutsu wore off. He watched as his clones hit their mark. A swift hit to the kidney would land, however soon enough his opponent would retaliate, destroying both clones in a single swipe. Now that Raikou was back on his feet, the thought of offense came to his mind. Offense, Offense, Offense was Raikou's motto. No use standing around watching his opponent prepare attacks when he could prepare his own.

The mist and settled back down from the previous explosion, and his opponent was once again shrouded with no visual perception at all. Immediately after watching his opponent swipe away his clones, Raikou would body flicker once again (2/5). He would appear 5m behind his opponent, just as he kicked a mist clone swiftly. The mist clone however would take no damage and continue to push forward. However it would seem, his opponent new the trick to the clones and payed no mind. But they served their purpose. As his opponent kicked at the mist clone, Raikou would create a number of hand seals for his next jutsu. Still watching his opponent ever closely with his powerful eyes, Raikou notices him reach for a flute. Not another sound genjutsu, that last one almost made Raikou hurl. It was a good thing that Raikou had prepared his shadow imitation jutsu as his opponent was occupied with the mist clone. Raikou's shadow would spring from underneath him and quickly connect with his opponents shadow.

Being his opponent was preoccupied with a mist clone, Raikou would
have ample time to make the move. The mist was now back into full affect, which made the odds of noticing the jutsu very little. Chances were his opponent was trapped, with the flute in hand right before playing it.

Once again wasting no time, Raikou continued with his trusty offense. With his opponents back faced to him, Raikou would quickly throw a kunai prepared with a exploding tag at his opponent. The kunai would be aimed at his opponents lower back and activated the moment of impact. Of course his opponent would mimic the same moves, but only to the open air in front of him.

A sudden clang would echoe throughuogh the shaded arena, and the recently thrown kunai would be deflected off to a random location in the room. The cause? A kunai belonging to another. Off to the side the examiner stood, ever watchful as always. How he himself had been able to see through the mis was anyone guess, but some kind of technique was obviously involved. Whatever the cause, the life of the young Iwa nin was no longer in peril. "That's enough."

He stepped further out, giving Shiro a firm but encouraging pat to the shoulder. He'd done well with the odds so turned against him. "Go recover," he said simply, then made his way over to the Cloud shinobi, and the victor. With no audience, there was really no need for a large announcement. Thus, he grinned. "Well done kid. Victory goes to you!"

[Masakuni]

Shiro nodded, sighing in relief. Much as he hated to lose, he'd much rather escape with his life than be killed and lose anyway. He shook the adrenaline from his system, sighing. He turned and faced his opponent, nodding curtly.

"You fought well. Good luck." He said, then turned and strode out of the arena. His only hope was that he might achieve a promotion out of this...

Raikou smiled and bowed at the Proctor. Raikou felt good and proud. He then turned and bowed to his opponent. "You fought extremely well also." Turning around, Raikou would make his way back to the waiting room.
