Travel to the Chuunin Exams

An ANBU was at the gates of Konoha, just outside the gates to the side of the road. He sitting on a rough old worn stump on the side of the road. He was waiting for the Ninja that would be leaving the Village to attend the Chuunin Exams, all the way in Bear Country. This ANBU would serve as their guide to the exams, but when he got them there he would disappear without a trace, back to Konoha.

For now the quiet ANBU would wait, sitting on the stump until the ninja came, ready to go.

OOC: Use this thread to travel to the Exams. Anyone may NPC the ANBU guide from now on.

The day of the Exams had came & Rikamaru was ready. He packed up his clothes & did everything else that was neccessary & needed. He then walked out the house locking up & heading towards the gates of Konoha.

As Rikamaru was walking, he saw an ANBU sitting off road. He then came towards Rikamaru. "Where are you going?" "I'm heading to the Exams." The ANBU looked at Rikamaru but he couldn't tell what he was going to do since he had his mask on his face. "I was told by the Hokage to support anyone who was going to the Exams, so if your ready, then let's go."

Rikamaru followed the ANBU as he started walking towards the Bear country. Rikamaru kept his gaurd up just in case someone or something happened. He tilted his hat so the sun wouldn't get in his face & slipped his hands in his pockets as he walked aside the ANBU guiding him to the Bear Country for the Exams.</sup>

Yukai arrived promptly at the designated point for Chuunin examinees. There was a boy and an ANBU member there and he walked towards them. He nodded to them when they acknowledged his presence. He didn't offer any words of introduction to his companions and merely follow behind the ANBU. A gust of wind blew past the group. This was it for Yukai. The long path before him that led to the Chuunin exams another great step in his journey to become a ninja.

Zien had woke up after going home to rest for the exams. As Zien did wake up he looked around his room. "Wait I was suppose to do something today. Zien had then jumped out of bed in his pajamas. "OHHH Crap the Chuunin Exams." Zien had then ran into the bathroom. Zien had took a quick bath and then he had grabbed some clothes and then he pulled out a pair of bandages. When Zien had pulled out the bandages he began wrapping them around his wrist.

After Zien had wrapped the bandages he had then began to walk over to his ankle weights and wrist weights Zien had put both of them on. Zien had then put his leg sleeves on and then he grabbed his Nunchakus and his cloak. Zien didn't put the hood on until he had put his headband on.

Zien had grabbed the eccentials including the Krav Maga Scroll. Zien had then walked ok of his house in a hurry. Might want to lock up. Zien had locked up and the door and took off though he had his weights you couldn't tell because his cloak was blocking the view and you could only really see the wrist weights and his ankle weights were under the sleeves. Zien had then rushed himself to the Konoha Gate.

When Zien had made it to the he noticed that one Anbu ninja as well as two other ninjas were waiting. "Hi I'm Zien Hoshido." Zien had wondered if the Anbu was going to escort them to the Bear Country. If his suspision was correct then he was going to wait on the others that were quilified to go to the exams.

Zieg had traveled from the training area so he could make it to the chuunin exams. He arrived a little late due to his intense training. Hopefully his new jutsus would prove to have not been wasted and he gets a chance to use them at the exams. He had his regular attire on today. His dark blue jacket, with the Uchiha insignia on the upper left half of it. His white sleeves that covered his forearms. His long baggy jeans and his boots that absorbed the lower half of them. His headband tied around his spikey head, his hair almost making the headband invisable.

His hands were in his pockets and he was traveling to where he was told to me. The exams wouldn't be close this time around. Bear Country was the area of choice. Zieg wondered about his opponents. Who might they have been. Surely he would meet opponents that he had never fought before. Abilities he has yet to face. Right now the only thing on Zieg's mind was making to the exams, which reminded him of his lateness.

He started to run through the village to the meeting point. His feet kicked up dust as he rushed along. He was still a little while away so he could continue on. He had been nearing the crowd. As he did he did a few handseals and then disappeared. It seemed a few shinobi had already arrived. ANBU probably sensed his prescence by now. Zieg had appeared near the center of everyone. A flurry of leaves surrounded him as he did. The leaves seperated and there stood Zieg, ready to go.

"Yo."

OOC: We need Nejiri. Nejiri you have until 3:00 EST tomorrow before we start traveling.

Unfortunately for his new found friend and ally Hyuuga Taisuke, it seemed that the warrior would not be attending the exam with the rest of the group. It was going to be weird having to deal with this new challenge, but he didn't waste to much time thinking on what had happened. So what he did do was gather his belongings for soon he would depart with whom ever was in the exams from konoha. He did however look forward to seeing which people from leaf had made it to the exams, he could assure himself that it wasn't just him.

Taking his weapons with him, the young man exited the house. The Uchiha District was as usual very boring even as he left to test his skills as a ninja, with a stroke of luck he would return a chuunin. Continuing his somewhat fast paced walked he would arrive at the gate soon enough to begin the dangerous journey to the next chapter in his life. Arriving at the gate he saw some new faces, but most of all he saw Zien and more so Zieg.

They had worked with Nejiri, before the two seemed to hold a grudge against him because of what happened to a student of Zien. And from what he determined, the two weren't real big on following the rules. Not paying to much mind to that he walked up ready to depart with them.

"If this is everyone, I hope we get a move on." He said with a polite tone of voice with the facial expressions to match.

Zieg turned to see an old face arrive. Nejiri. Uchiha Nejiri One like himself. Zieg thought over the matter. He waved his hand to him.

"Bout time. I was starting to think you weren't showing up. I take it Taisuke isn't coming?" Zieg wasn't too concerned with them but he knew as an Uchiha he would be singled out. Regardless of how he felt about Nejiri he knew he too would be in a similar mind set and the two may have to depend on each other in the future. Thats if the future was clear enough for the eyes of this Uchiha to see.

Zieg's katan and windmill shuriken rested on his back, ready to tear into his opponents. He wondered if he would face Nejiri in battle at the exams. Or even Zien. Zien wasn't as easy to beat in battle as he use to be. It would make for a fitting situation if Zieg and Zien battled. An even more interesting match might have been Nejiri and Zieg. The battle would be fierce. Sharingan vs sharingan.

Zieg looked to the ANBU and waved. "I think thats everyone. Lets get going already." Zieg was on his way to the exams. Hopefully he would come back a chuunin and not a failure.

OOC: To Bear Country please.

[Moved to Rain. You go from Fire country to Rain, to Bird, and then to Bear]

The ANBU whom was to watch over the genin and lead them to their destination would start off on his trail. He rose from his seat and started on. Zieg and the others had followed. They traveled pretty far through the fire country's grassy fields. Twas a peaceful day. Zieg was thankful of that. Surely it would remain this way. The wind blew gentely, pushing along the travelers clothing.

After a few hours of speed tracking the group made it to Rain country. Zieg wasn't sure what they were doing there. The man leading the group simply continued on.

"First we have to pass a couple other countries before we can get to where we want to. Be patient." Zieg shrugged as he listened. He didn't care about what he had to do. He just wanted to make it there. He stayed silent along most the way. His hands were in his pockets and he eyed the sky occasionally before perring at the back of the mysterious ANBU.

After they had started moving Zien had looked at Zeig and the other contestants. "I know that doing these exams is going to be tough I can do this." Zien had more confidence seeing his teammate Zieg his confidence rose to it's max. Zien didn't try to get over confident though his mind was set he then looked at Nejiri.

Zien didn't care that his student was killed by him. Though he was gaurded by Anbu to the Bear Country he didn't really care he still wanted to stay on gaurd. Zien had threw his hood on his head and continued to walk. "Hmm...... I wonder how long it will take us to get there." Zien wasn't going to back down from his biggest challenge yet.

After hearing Zieg speak Zien had then wanted to say some words as they began to enter the Rain Country. The rain started to fall Zien had looked up. "And here comes the drizzle." Zien had looked forward an began to walk the rain hitting his cloak he was truely prepared for this type of situation.

OOC: I think it is best we do wait for others that way we can stay as a group and not get lost in a lot of post

OOC: Haru said its ok we go on without them. Anyone who is online lets just get there. I am gonna be kinda busy today.

Nejiri began journeying with the group, the chuunin exams would most likely be a very challenging experience. The Uchiha looked around as they traveled, the only thing that bothered him was that when traveling with Taisuke the journey was shorter. Taisuke wouldn't have wasted some much time.

The young man followed along as the ninja passed through with the group into rain country, he didn't care to much for the climate of the area. He liked a good rain every once in a while, but constant would get on his nerves. He continued to walk as the rain pushed his hair down.

Though it looked like it blurred his vision, the Uchiha was still able to see fine even with the rain.

[Yukai]

Yukai's mind was lost as they travleled. Nothing happened as they moved through the Fire country with it's trees and grass. The land was unfamiliar to Yuksi even though it was his home country as this was the first time he had really left the village hidden in the leaf. He didn't survey it though and merely carried on his way at a steady pace keeping up with the ANBU and the rest of the group. He was deep inside his own mind not really thinking or feeling anything. He was making himself numb ignoring his companions and steeling himself for the challenges to come. There would be tests of strength, speed, knowledge and every thing else essential to Shinobi. He found that being mentally alone was easier then acknowledging people anyway and besides getting to know the people he might fight would be a terrible idea indeed. The more you know the harder it was to fight so Yukai just walked the path.

Later on down the road they crossed over the border. Yukai could tell because on the edge of his consciousness his body felt rain pelting his skin making his clothes wet. As he crossed over the border Yukai gained himself up again to be on guard. Chuunin exams or no Yukai was in a different countries territory now and this territory had Shinobis. He didn't feel as safe but he kept his face steeled not letting the group now he was on guard or even feeling anything. They continued to walk the path though following behind there ANBU guard. It didn't seem like anything was going to happen but Yukai kept his guard up anyway. If he where to be attacked he'd have cursed himself for not being ready.
