The sun was only just reaching its beams like hands over the far horizon. One stray beam reached through a small piece of exposed glass to press light kisses against the rather rough face of a teal-haired boy. It reached towards his eyes, which opened rather suddenly, and then wearily closed once again in protest. After a moment, he rose and ruffled at his hair, shaking his head roughly back and forth.
After preparing himself rather quickly, he stepped outside only to be swarmed by the morning light. It reflected rather annoyingly off of the morning dew, so he trudged forward, jerking at any plant which held dew. He sighed as he lifted his head to the sun, which broke the barrier that was the horizon to stretch all its limbs out over Tsuchi no Kuni. More training today...He thought to himself, planning out his agenda. As he thought, he arrived in an open area. The stone blocks beneath his feet were beginning to unearth themselves, possibly the doing of insects or small animals. There wasn't much wildlife--or life at all, for that matter.
He began to think through exactly how the jutsu worked. He decided on "Mushihenge no Jutsu", which allowed his kikaichu to take the shape and look of another thing. The base of the technique was using Henge no Jutsu on the bugs rather than himself, which really seemed easy enough in itself. The handseals were easy enough to remember. It was just one: the tiger.
Blackness began to slowly develop from within Kharashi's jacket. It emerged gracefully, buzzing into the air. At Kharashi's mental command, they began to form into the shape of a kunai. Hugging up against each other, the chakra-sucking bugs formed a sharp tip and worked their way back. Growing outwards, and then inwards until they formed a small ring at the back.
Alright... Kharashi thought, forming the tiger seal with both hands by lacing his fingers together and propping his middle, index, and thumb fingers up. Concentrating, he pushed his chakra out and into his kikaichu, focusing. In his mind, there was nothing but a kunai. The image whirled around the blackness as he focused, wanting nothing more at the moment but for his bugs to glisten with the shine of metal.
It had worked-- to an extent. Utterly, however, it wasn't believable and thus a failure. The metal was a dull gray and the hand grip was a nice, solid black, but the bugs squirming back and forth creating a ripple-like effect which spread throughout the "grip" of the kunai.
The color dissipated and the kikiachu spread apart as if the plague were at their center. Alright, maybe not so much focus on the metal...He suggested to himself. With that, the small, black insects swarmed together, mimicking their earlier shape and form. Again, the image of the kunai swarmed about within his thoughts, this time without a single focus.
He muttered, "Mushihenge no Jutsu..."
