Reception Hall (Missions)

NOTE: You must enter the Empath's Ring, past the three Inner Walls to enter the Palace of the Empath to recieve missions inside the Reception Hall.

Upon first entering one finds a reception hall, where all standard petitions and laments may be made. Here several desks remain, manned by secretaries who quickly and methodically record complaints, and arrange for trials etc. The room is a 50 radius floor, where desks line the walls based on nature of grief to be reported. At the front of the Reception Hall, a large desk is located in the south west corner, where villagers and other people may be assigned tasks by the clan that need to be performed.

Village Missions

Name: Repair Duty
Rank: C
Description: With the attack on our village, shinobi are needed to help the townspeople out with the repairs on our village. This will include gathering materials, supervising, and possibly even doing hands-on building. Not only will this build a better relation with the townspeople, but it will also increase the shinobi's general skills in hunting and will give us a greater knowledge of our own people. The mission will last for three days.
Requirements: 1 Genin; 1 Genin Maximum. May be repeated 3 times.
Rewards: 1000 Ryo

Name:Village Patrol
Rank: D
Description: Patrolling around the village, including moving between our shops to watch for thievery as well as moving about the walls to ensure that people are not entering in areas where they should not be. Any civil disputes should be handled fairly, as any reports of things being handled unfairly will make their way to the Kage. Lasts for three days.
Requirements: 1 Genin; 2 Shinobi in one group. Maximum of three groups at one time. May be repeated three times.
Rewards: 1000 Ryo and 5 explosive tags

Name: Village Gate Duty
Rank: C
Description: As a shinobi positioned at the gates, you will be required to make note of everyone who enters and leaves through the gates, and to write on them via the ledger that is in the area. Beyond that, if they are carrying any sorts of cargo, they must be inspected and written within the ledger as well. Any attempts to get through the gates are not permissible; there is always going to be an ANBU positioned in the area to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Lasts for three days. Please ensure to include any actual combat that ensues with your report.
Requirements: 1 Genin; 8 shinobi may have this mission at one time. (Two at each gate at most.)
Rewards: 1500 Ryo.

It had been some time, but the Palace of the Empath remained as beautiful as the day he first laid eyes upon it. Walking through the doors, Ramza quickly moved over towards one of the more, empty desks with a women sitting behind it, taking care of the village business, like the others six she sat with. Ramza, quick in his movements would find himself before her now, grinning to her as he would cross his arms over his chest and speak.

"It certainly has been awhile. A Mission, easy, kinda, something to warm me up."

He proclaimed to her, hoping she would meet his request and give him a mission easy and worth wild.

Nodding quickly and curtly, the lady would pass him a slip of paper with the authorization. Speaking as if with little time to spare, she would return back to her work.

"Alright then. Take the Gate Duty, South-West Gate."

"Sounds Good."

And with that, Ramza was quick to take the piece of parchment and sign his name upon it, sealing the deal. Turning and moving back to the door from wench he came, the Airontoku would be swift in his movements towards the South West Gate, where his mission would truly begin. Walking out the door, Ramza would make his trek.

Coming into the reception hall, Ramza, stamped scroll in hand for a completed Gate Duty, Walked easily up to the assistants desk, and placed it upon the desk, smiling.

"Missions Complete."

Nodding slowly, the registrar would look up and hand him yet another scroll.

"Good work" Her voice was filled with a monotone dullness. Must suck to have her job.

Finally, after the not so long walk from his own home, preparing everything for his meeting with the Honored Brethren, he had arrived to the Palace, where he could finally speak with the Honored Brethren about leaving the citadel to see the world. He looked around, noticing other people like him sitting there, talking, chatting, or just resting. He nodded at some of them as he passed them by, and stopped at the receptionist's desk. The receptionist was busy, so being as patient as he could be, he waited for the receptionist to be done. Soon, she turned to Nenshou, and asked him what he needed.

"I would like an audience with an Honored Brethren. tell him it's about Nenshou wanting to leave Airon Nejiro for the outside world. They might have heard of the rumors by now, so he'll know what I'm talking about...?"

The receptionist's head arose as he glanced up at the lad. Her glasses pressed up against her nose, she'd pause for a moment or two, sneering at the man. His attitude was quite confident, overconfident really, but nonetheless she'd perform her duties as intended. Voice speaking across the desk calmly, she'd motion for him to clarify his request, shuffling about for some paperwork and what not.

"Any in particular?"

"Any in particular?"

Ignoring the look that the receptionist gave Nenshou, he began trying to decide who he needed to speak to. The five Honored Brethren were all powerful, respected members of the Airontoku family, and each one was different in their own way. Thinking back, he tried to decide who he knew better than the others, and then, the name of the man came to him.

"Souzen Akami please..."

Souzen was one of the Honored Brethren, and personally knew Nenshou to a certain degree due to recent events and missions that Nenshou went on before. He nodded to himself, and awaited the receptionist to respond to his request...

She'd stare at him quite curiously, finally nodding with reluctance as a few papers were passed across the desk. Her voice was quite curt and to the point.

"Fill out the request form - it'll be a few moments once submitted to see if our Brother will see you."

[Leonov]

With a nod, he took the papers, and after a quick look over of everything, he took a pen and began scratching in whatever information was needed. Within five minutes, he finished the slip of paper, gave it to the receptionist, and walked a few yards to the right and sat down in a seat. From there, he began waiting for Souzen Akami to arrive...

After a few long moments a figure would finally arrive from the floors above. His short white hair bristling as he strode forth, he'd step in front of the lad, beckoning him to a farther back portion of the room for them to speak. As he walked, his voice called out, assuming the lad was listening, quite a booming tone really.

"Oi oi, Nenny-kun? What brings you here? Busy are you not? It is a glorious day for our people, there is work to be done, why do we both dawdle?"

He'd pause, turning about from the corner of the reception hall, the two could speak there perhaps.

[Leonov]

"Oi oi, Nenny-kun? What brings you here? Busy are you not? It is a glorious day for our people, there is work to be done, why do we both dawdle?"

And there he was, the man that Nenshou was waiting for, and the man who would decide of Nenshou could finally leave the citadel for the outside world. He stood up and followed Souzen to an area in the reception room, and as he started walking, he tried to think of something to say. Soon, they stopped, and Nenshou turned to Souzen, with a wide grin on his face.

"Honored Souzen, I have done much for the Iron Citadel, I have accomplished many different missions, both easy and hard. I have achieved the Airontoku Officer rank, I have become a strong warrior of the Airontoku, and I still yearn for more knowledge and power. Now, with that being said, I have this to ask from you.

I wish to leave the Iron Citadel and look for somewhere to go where I can grow stronger. A place that I can defend like I do the Iron Citadel. A place where not only will I gain more knowledge, I will improve on my abilities, both of the Airontoku and of other various other releases and styles.

Now, with that being said, my allegiance always has been, still is, and always will be with the Airontoku. If you let me leave the Iron Citadel, I will never give away any Airontoku secrets, and will always uphold the tradition of coming back to the Iron Citadel every six months.

Now, after saying everything, I must ask you this. Do I have your permission to leave the Iron Citadel?"

Such aged and grizzled eyes stared at the lad for a few solitary moments, his complexion unwavering as he listened to the boy for several minutes longer. Not quite listening, but rather tuning him out, his own thoughts bobbling about in his own mind as his face remained expressionless, contemplating the decision.

Slowly a nod was given, his eyes snapping back to reality for a moment or two as he spoke.

"It is done. Go Nenny-kun. I warn you of our people however - do not stray the path."

And with that he'd turn back once more, ascending the flight of stairs so few had ever traversed.

And so, with the Honorable Brethren's permission, Nenshou was finally given permission of getting out of the Iron Citadel and finally finding the place he always wanted to go, for a place to stay in and work for that place. He nodded at the Honorable Brethren as he ascended the stairs, turned around, and left the Reception Hall, heading for the gates.
