Court of the Honored
Upon the second floor is the Court of the Honored, where more serious trials of a city based nature are held. Most often used for city matters, such as planning of a new building, or trials involving noble families, the Court is reserved only for those pleading their cases and the Honored Brethren themselves. To enter the second floor one must pass by all the reception desks at the front, and ascend past a flight of stairs guarded by 5 guards who watch it vigilantly. Inside upon entering, one may find all 5 Honored Brethren usually working out some private matter. The room itself is substantially smaller than the one above, having only a 20 meter radius, and very little furnishings. There are only 6 chairs (located near the back of the room, across from the stairs in), for the Honored Brethren and the Empath himself. All court attendees must stand. This room is also guarded by many, stationed between every chair, and entrance/exit. The entrance to floor three is located across the room from the entrance of floor two, behind the six chairs and guards who stand there vigilantly and trade shifts in a staggered manner. (There are always at least 11 guards even during shift switch.)
