Neoku was back in control again. It had been a while since he was, and he was getting restless. He need something to do, or else he start killing. His blood was boiling for something, anything. Taking the opportunity of being alone, he decided to train in the clan moves that he so enjoyed. His other half Tai couldn’t do them, so he owned them alone. That was how he liked it anyway. Seeing as no one was around, he decided to begin on his clan taijutsu. He knew exactly what would be appropriate too.
Taking his time to focus his chakra, he tried to push it toward his hands. It wouldn’t budge though. The chakra wouldn’t even circulate extra or make any kind noticeable movement toward his limbs. Concentrating deeply, he began to pour all his will power toward his hands. He was concentrating for as much as ten minutes, no progress being made in between. Then, after about half an hour, he began to feel a small trickle of chakra begin to form around his palm. It wasn’t enough to do anything with. In fact, it was somewhat laughable, or would have been if Neoku were the humorous type. But no, he wasn’t. The small amount of chakra that only covered a part of his hand wasn’t nearly as much as he was hoping for.
To remedy his problem, he started over again. This time, as he began to mold his chakra. He made sure to channel as much as he could to ensure that he actually had enough to channel towards his attack. As he started, he could feel the increasing surge of chakra gradually moving down his arms, pooling up into his wrist, then eventually into his palms. Just as it reached there, the abruptly stopped, leaving a stinging sensation in his arm. For this, he had to re-channel his chakra, and perhaps channel it a bit faster. That speed of course, couldn’t be gained on a single try.
Neoku took a deep breath, anticipating when he’d actually be able to use this move to it’s fullest. He began to slowly channel his chakra toward his arms. He really should tried to for speed, but instead, he went for quantity. He figured that after he’d gotten the quantity of chakra right, it would be easier for him to speed up the flow than to do it vice versa. At first, he continued with the same amount of chakra as when he started. It wouldn’t increase much, and it began to infuriate him as his patience was by now going dangerously short. However, he continued working at the chakra.
After about fifteen minutes, his ready to kill the first person he saw. Well, not kill, but brutally attack and possible maim. His patience was gone, and the only thing that would appease him was either some immediate progress, or a fight. As it would happen, he was ready to give up and starting looking for someone to fight. Lucky enough though, he felt an odd pulse in his mind, as if someone had open a gate, allowing chakra to flow at an almost unchecked rate. He could feel the it increase marginally, and when he felt that, he pushed for it even more. Slowly, he continued pushing on his control of the chakra, forcing more through his arms. Eventually, he had enough, he pushed it further, until it was moving toward is hands. It now covered his palms, but he still had to focus it around the rest of his hands.
For perhaps the next hour, he tried forcing the chakra to cover his palms completely. Slowly, it started to cover the back of his hands in a thin sheet like layer. Then, it began to cover his fingers. Soon, his hand was completely covered, but not densely. It was like a thin membrane of chakra. He could already tell that he didn’t have enough to focus into his attack. It was however, enough of a start. If he didn’t stop and take a small break, he’d end up hurting himself. So, he stopped and took a short break.
