Woodn't You Want to have a Sensei?

Tami Mai had always wanted a Sensei to teach her some Wood Release techniques. It seemed as if she could learn quicker and better when she had someone teaching her the actual matter, instead of trying to learn it herself, alone.

Sitting on the moist grass, early in the day, Tami took a deep breathe. It had been a while since she had trained, she needed to motivate herself and get to work, she wanted to become a Chuunin and she had never heard of a Genin going to the next rank while sitting down and being unmotivated.

The wind blew her long, pink and black hair. She signed before staring in the distance. She was near the limits of the village, usually know one would pass by this early.

It was early, so early that almost no one should be awake. But Ayame Hankora was. She rose at dawn and found herself wandering near the village gates. Wind blew through her hair, causing her green tresses to wrap around her shoulders.

After a good minute of walking Ayame caught sight of a person in the distance. Hoping to avoid conflict the girl pulled a seed from the red silk pouch on her belt and grew it into a pink rose. As she approached the girl she held the flower out and smiled softly. "Good morning!"

Someone as joyful as me? In the morning? Tami wondered looking at the girl that had just brought her a rose. She did not know who this girl was, but she definately looked liked someone that Tami could be friends with.

"Good morning to you too! I'm Tami Mai, who are you? And how are you? You're a nin right? Of course you are, why would you be in the hidden village? Well maybe you're just a normal villager, sorry for talking too much. I didn't get your name though? Did I say I was Tami Mai, Kitateha Tami Mai!" Tami said, a wide smile on her face at each breathe she took.

As she spoke one of her fingers were held high and she spoke in a matter-of-factly matter. None of it made real sense, it seemed as if she spoke just for the benefic of speaken and because she was that type of person.

Ayame smiled as she listened to the girls fast paced talking. She giggled slightly at the mention of talking too much. "I am a ninja. Hanakora Ayame. You're the... butterfly clan right? I've never met one before! There aren't alot of you are there?" Ayame asked just as excited as she offered Tami the rose.

"Here this is for you. I made it!" She said happily. She seemed completley at ease with the girl, bad for a ninja, but nice for making a friend.

Tami Mai grabbed the rose and waved it happily in the air, spreading its delicate scent around her. She nodded at the mention of her clan being rare. "There are still several of us around the village though!" Tami declared, she could not wait to some day be able to summon up butterfly wings and fly high into the sky.

"Wait, you said you made this right? You made this? Does that mean you have Wood Release powers? Or is that one of the perks of being an Hanakora, your clan do crazy things with flowers right? Flowers are pretty they smell good too. But are you a Mokuton Nin? Or do you only do Hanakora techniques?" Tami Mai said, this time her speech even quicker than before, though as strange as this may seem, all her words were clear.

The young Kitateha had brought the flower to eye level. A small butterfly landed on the colored flower, its wings were strangely in completely contrast with the small plant.

Ayame stared at the small insect with the nearly translucent wings. "I use both actually. Most Hanakora's are Mokuton nin, including me. But my clan does specialize in flowers, why do you ask?" Her amethyst eyes went up to look over the pink haired girl. "Are you a Mokuton nin also?"

"Well I'm trying to be a Mokuton-using Nin." Tami said getting up to her feet. The butterfly clumsily made her way towards another area of the village. The morning wind continued brushing through the long, pink and ebony hair of the Kitateha her black eyes set on Ayame.

"I want to go more into this Release, but I don't have anyone to teach me." She explained, lowering her eyes to the ground.

Ayame followed the butterfly nin through the village. "What techniques are you trying to learn? I know a few but not all of them. If I can I will teach you though," the kunoichi said happily as her amethyst eyes took in their surroundings.

"I have no idea, that is why I want a sensei that could teach me the Wood Release techniques." Tami explained as she walked beside the other kunoichi. Tami's hands had become quite clammy, she slowly rubbed them against her pants as she walked on, her face decorated with a weak smile.


"I'd really like you to teach me some techniques though." She added, still a little but nervous.

Ayame stopped and looked over the girl. She looked strong and like a good fighter, definitley the kind of person she'd like to teach. The green haired girl clapped her hands together. "Okay then! Where to start... of course! Seed summoning!" Ayame quickly explained the technique to the girl and waited for her thoughts.

Vine (regular, thick, thorn)

Flower (roses, daisies, lilacs, and sunflowers are the most common flowers created- there are plenty more that can be dependant on the situation, but it would take forever to list them all)
