‘I guess I’ll go off to Hoshiko obaa-chan and Tatsuya obaa-san’ thought Marii and roof-jumped to their house. She peeked in a window; the family was eating. ‘Hm...now, my aunt is less experienced in genjutsu than my uncle, so I suppose she will be my first target’ thought the girl. The Chuunin found an open window, and snuck in. Then, she positioned herself next to the stairway, so she could see them.
But because of the angle, they wouldn’t be able to see her. The girl tried to imagine her aunts feet chained to the table, and let out some chakra towards the raven-haired woman. She didn’t seem to notice anything. ‘She is a taijutsu specialist after all...maybe I should try my uncle’ thought the brunette. She released a beam of chakra towards the greenett, hoping it would do.
Suddenly, the man blinked and moved his legs a little. ‘SCORE!’ yelled the females inner, raising a fist. “Anything wrong dad?” asked her blue-haired cousin. “It felt like my ankles went numb for a second...probably just the training” said the adult and kept eating. The teen focused more of her chakra towards the adult woman, imagining her feets being sucked into the floor.
Hoshikos brows furrowed, and she moved her feet a little bit. “Funny...it felt like my feet were in water or something. I should probably cut down the swimming a little” chuckled the woman and kept eating her food. Upstairs, her niece was sporting a huge grin. Now, it was time to intensify it a little.
‘Hmm....my uncles biggest fear...maybe the woman from Ju-On ((OOC: Ju-On is the Japanese title for ‘The Grudge’))?’ thought Marii and tried to imagine the girl being behind her aunt. After the chakra was released, she just had to wait a bit. Suddenly, Tatsuya turned white, while his hazel eyes widened with fear. “Dad? You look like you’ve seen a ghost” said her cousin, raising a cerulean brow. “I...it’s someone scary be...behind Hoshiko-chan...” said the man, his voice shaking with fear.
Said woman turned around, but she didn’t saw anyone. “Uhm, sweetie....I’m not seeing anything” said the raven-haired woman, smiling a wry smile. The girl upstairs imagined the ghost to lick her aunts cheek. If it was realistic enough, her uncles ANBU instincts would kick in, despite that he was in the Owl squad. She bit her lip: had her genjutsu worked?
Suddenly, the mans hazel eyes were raging with fury. “GO AWAY!” yelled the Jounin and tossed a kunai towards a non-existing creature. To make it look as realistic as possible, the brunette imagined the ghost fading away while crying. “Thank Kami you’re safe....” said the man, and gave his wife a hug. The woman raised a brow, but just hugged back.
