Ayame vs. Owen, teaching session no.2

Owen stood in the plain middle of the meadow, waiting patiently for his teacher to arrive again. He had worked hard since his last teaching session, theory of battle and his available limits became clear to him, but he still wanted to know exactly how much he had learned.

"Come out, Ayame-sensei..no sneak attacks!"

A laugh echoed through the air as the young Hanakora appeared behind Owen. She placed her hand on the top of his head and smiled. "Aww come on that takes all the fun out of it!" She said happily. She let her hand drop to her side as she walked about ten feet away, that way they were in a nice close range position but not close enough to touch eachother.

Owen quickly turned around, but only in time to see her jump back a good ten meters,"Enough of the chit chat..

He quickly formed the handseals, ending in dragon, "Katon - Housenka No Jutsu!"

He quickly spit five fire balls in a shotgun formation toward Ayame, before stepping back into a defensive, preparing for the inevitable counter attack.

A quick set of hand seals was used as the fire raced towards her. A swirl of cherry blossoms over took her body before she disappeared into nothingness. In a moment she would reappear behind Owen, hand seals already flying across her hands as her shadow stretched the short distance to capture his.

Effect: After performing this justu, the user will dissolve into a shower of cherry blossoms which will confuse their target as they escape or hide.

Description: This flower petal technique is a Genjutsu utilized by the Hanakora Clan. If the user comes under attack, they can use this technique to cover their escape. After forming the needed hand seals, the user's body will disperse into a shower of flower petals. These petals will confuse and distract their opponent while they escape or hide.
Limit: Hanakora Technique.

Kagemane no Jutsu, ‰e^Ž—‚̏p (Shadow Imitation Technique)

Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: The signature move of the Nara family, this jutsu allows the user to control their own shadow and merge it with their opponent's shadow, combining them. This links the movements of the user with the target; the target is subsequently forced to make any movement the user makes. It is an extremely versatile technique, as the user can contract and change the shape of their shadow, potentially grabbing multiple targets at once. The degree to which the user's shadow can be stretched is limited by its total surface area.
Special: "Hanseals"
Drawback: Must Be Learned Multiple times in order to truly achieve something grand. Must hold Rat hand seal until the technique connects with the targets shadow.
Description: Using the shadows of other objects, the user can extend their shadow beyond its normal range. The amount of time for which an opponent can be held is limited by the user's chakra, since the user must constantly maintain the jutsu. The jutsu is also more difficult to maintain at greater ranges or for multiple opponents, since the user's shadow must be stretched constantly. At closer ranges, it requires considerably less effort on the user's part. Additionally, the target can force their way free with enough effort, though the amount of effort required to do so is considerable. There are two tables or understandings for this technique that consists of the Difficulty class of the User as well as the Opponent, and as to how far the user is capable of using this technique. When first learned the user is only capable of using this technique at a distance of Ten meters. Each higher Rank archived, the user is capable of extending the shadow another five meters. The user must first however, learn each rank a certain amount of times before then next rank is obtainable. The C rank version must be learned five times total. At which point the ditance is upgraded to "B" Rank training and now extends ten meters each time trained. This version must be learned 3 times total. The "A" Rank version, extends the range to Seventy meters, and every additional "A" Rank training extends it another ten meters. This technique caps out at 100 meters. The user is capable of making their shadow split and by doing so takes up the distance of the total form of the original technique. This means that if a user has this technique to where they can use thirty meters and wishes to make this technique split to three shadows the maximum distance is ten meters per shadow.

Difficulty on Escaping: Escaping the Kagemane is a tricky art for some, easier for others. Depending on your Stamina and Difficulty class depends on how well the opponent can escape the Kagemane. The Kagemane is held for a Certain time frame depending on Rank of the technique learned. "C" Rank can be held for 18 seconds before it breaks no matter what. "B" Rank 36 seconds, "A" Rank 54 Seconds. For every difficulty class the user is above the opponent, add another five seconds. If the opponent for every difficulty class above th user, subtract five seconds. If the Opponent captured is a Taimaster, subtract 15 seconds additionally. If the opponent is a Tai specialist, subtract 5 additional seconds. If the opponent is a Taijutsu No specialist, leave it as is. After doing the math, the amount of turns held will be apparent.

Owen cussed as he saw Ayame collapse into a pile of blossoms, before quickly turning to see Ayame with her hands in the rat symbol. He couldn't waste any time, he quickly sunshined fifteen meters away, leaving an after image to hopefully distract Ayame long enough for his fireballs to hit their mark this time (still does not see shadow); He performed the handseals and breathed in deeply to let out another cluster of fire balls toward Ayame.

Drawback: Can only be done ten times a day after learned due to abuse within Muscles, but each time trained one may do more and more. The user is only capable of making one at a time.
Description: The after image technique is the technique that allows the user to move side to side with extreme speed and towards a general direction creating an after image of the person. When learning this technique a person may only do Ten after images per day. If one wishes goes more then this number tissue has a chance to rip and tear. To be able to do more then ten per day one they must train for each again to create one more. This is the basis techniques for all techniques that may consist or deal with moves that deal with the After Image. This means that if a user wishes to know a technique that uses an after image they must have knowledge of this technique as well. Depending on how many after images a user uses within a technique is dependent on how many times this technique is known.

Katon - Housenka no Jutsu (Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique)

Effect: The user is capable of spiting out, or emitting out a series of small fireballs in the size of a six inches to a foot in diameter to where the user is capable of hurling them towards the opponent.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: The user is only capable of hurling out four small fire balls towards the opponent at one time.
Description: The user performs a few quick handseals as they quickly take the same concept as that of the Goukakyuu no Jutsu. The user then spits out or hurls out up to five small sized fire balls towards the enemy. Each fire ball creates massive amounts of burns but does not burst forth in an explosion. As each fire ball makes contact with something they spread out the fire creating a more of an area effect within the fire. The user is capable of using this technique in conjunction with multiple secondary weapons such as kunais or shurikens. The opponent is uncapable of noticing the kunais or the shurikens until the very fire is extingwishes in mid air. This technique is used typically to hide or to be used as a diversion for more of a powerful technique.
Limit: Must have the Fire Release

She might have seen the after image but she also so the fireball flying towards her. She quickly released her seal and shunshined ten meters ahead. Her movements were so fast it was impossible to trace, in fact to Owen she would have disappeared form sight. As she used her technique she croushed down into the long grass, obscuring her from vision. Being only five meters away now was the perfect time to attack. A quick set of hand seals and six branches would quietly snake from the ground and constrict the boys feet.

Effect: A technique where branches is pushed from the ground and wraps around an opponent.
Special: "Boar, Dragon, Ram, Boar"
Drawback: This technique is the basics of other techniques. The user must learn this technique multiple times in order for the distance of branches can increases.
Description: After using the seals the user uses the water and earth release in which branches crushes out of the ground to wrap around the user. When the user first learns this technique the user is capable of creating approximatly Six Different branches with a width of six inches, with the distance of Ten Meters From the user. Every time learned the distance may increase by an additional ten Meters. When the distance reaches up to a Hundred Meters the type of training becomes B-Rank Training. When the distance reaches Two Hundred Meters the Training becomes A-Rank. When the user reaches to B-Rank Training the width of branches is Twelve Inches if the user desires. When the Training Reaches A-Rank the width of the branches is Twenty Four Inches if the user desires. Each time learned the user is capable of creating another branch.

Owen wandered carefully as he searched for the fled kunoichi. Every step he took was that of caution and care, until at one moment his foot refused to move in front of the other..

He looked down in shock at what he had snagged; two thick roots wrapping carefully around his foot, and more were on there way.

"So much for no sneak attacks.."

He quickly drew his katana, slashing both roots with a single swipe. Two more approached with speed, he quickly brought his katana through the air as a jet of fire scorched the both. Another pair pushed their way from the ground underneath him, and quickly he flipped backward onto a small (4 foot radius) patch of dirt. He knew that Ayame still knew where he was. He would be sure to keep watch for any other nasty tricks, but it was inevitable that sooner or later he would mess up. He just needed Ayame to reveal herself before he could make a move.

Description: The user draws a deep breath and pushes chakra into the desired weapon. Using the fire release, the use swings, and unleashes a sickle-like jet of fire traveling in the direction of the swing. It travels until it hits something solid basically, or until nature disarms it. (storm, strong winds, etc.)
