noob battle in the forest (d rank 1v1)

Shin's travels brought him to a large fallen tree. The tree was taller than Shin while on it's side. The lifeless form of nature astounded him. Shin struggled to climb up the tree as he finally got his foot over the tree's side.climbed up on the gigantic tree Shin laid back on the tree as the sounds of the forest helped him relax. Shin quickly sat sat up as he knew he couldn't as he would in the grass country. He quickly jumped down from the tree sending dust from his sandals. Shin started to walk away from the large tree.

Noisy, aren’t we…?

It’d be the fifth interruption that day the youth would suffer, though the previous ones were nothing more than beggars and thieves looking for a reason. Up to this point, needless violence had been avoided, though the means employed to reach such a peaceful goal were less than appropriate. Ironic…but Asgard cared enough only to chuckle. Seconds later, he’d return to his more serious demeanor, understanding this particular find physically appealed to him as more than just a member of a pathetic social class.

Standing about twenty meters away, the medic would identify himself.

“You’re not one to keep quiet, are you?”

At this point, the unknown youth had dropped from his sitting position, ready to exit the area. Nice timing, eh?

Shin had stopped in his tracks.. as the missing nin rudely approached him. Shin flipped his hair away from his eyes as he raised his eyebrow at the person in front of him. "Making noise ... Shin thought over his recent actions... you're mistaken..."

Shin had turned to face the person before him. Shin's right hand was nearing his wooden sword. It seemed the guy had been upset by something. And his anger had come to a fever pitch. But Shinwas ready.

His reactions were fast. And hostile. Oh dear…

“You reach...for your...sword…!? Fine then. Any stakes?”

His broadsword hung steady at his back. For the moment, its handle would remain unbothered. However, if the stranger’s actions continued on its violent course, peace would be something the youth would no longer be able to uphold. A single light bomb would be held steadily in his left hand, all the while his gaze remained fixated on his opponent’s sternum. From their distance apart – roughly fifteen to twenty meters from each other – his opponent would figure the medic for nothing more than a madman. The right, for the moment, hung low, uninterested.

“…”

Silence. The stranger would now be tested.

Shin the broadsword on the enemies back as he reacted in hostility to Shin reaching for his wooden sword. Shin watched as the opponent reached and retrieved an unknown object. As it was revealed to be a light bomb Shin knew what was going to happen. Shin's hands were dug into his pouch retrieving a kunai and a handful(15) of Makashibi(caltrops).

Shin released the two objects with a unnoticeable delay between the two as he aimed the kunai for the offending light bomb. The caltrops would be spread in a area in front of Shin their points assured to be facing upwards in case the battle became close range.

Excellent!

Triggers of extreme emotional pleasure would wash over the youth, currently observing what would be an unfolding of skill. From such an emotional rush came a smile, though its entry into this world was most likely missed, an unfortunate victim of sudden, jerk-like movement. With noble intentions was the cause of the emotional subterfuge, having his upper body react easily to the incoming projectile threatening his Light Bomb. Given the range in which he stood, Asgard would come up without much difficulty, ending his farce attack with a laugh. As what seemed to be a moderate supply of the opponent’s Makibishi pelted the ground directly in front of him, Asgard would alter his plans slightly.

The first to act would be his right hand, still clutching the undetonated bomb. Set up as a distraction, he found no more need for it now that his opponent’s reaction was gauged. As such, he’d switch it out with an explosive laced kunai, taken confidently and spun in his hand. As the clang of his opponent’s missed attack rang behind him, Asgard would act on his own.

He would humor his opponent’s predictions, if just for a moment, rushing up a few steps. He’d stop before reaching the Makibishi, but not before releasing a kunai of his own. Now about ten meters apart, the momentum from the run would lend to a swiftly thrown projectile. Aimed around the head area, it seemed his opponent’s choice would be some sort of dive, preferably, for his health’s sake, forward. If he was lucky enough to dodge the attack, he’d find an explosion would soon follow behind him, pushing his body like a rag doll towards the very traps he laid down just moments before. The best part about it all?

His opponent didn’t know what was coming.

"Clang"

The sound of Shin's kunai being deflected by a quickly retrieved kunai by his opponent. The sound spurred Shin to make his next move. The ninjutsu master moved through handseals at a quick pace as his opponent moved forward almost into the field of Makashibi but his momentum was used the launch the single kunai. SHin finsihed his handseal as a puff of smoke appeared from Shin's hands.

In his hand's shin clasped ten seeds from his chakra. Shin ducked as the kunai flew over his head. Shin thought the danger had passed but as he turned his attention forward as and explosion ripped from behind him. Shin fell to the ground sliding forward. being that the Makiashibi were point on the top they we pushed aside not penetrating Shin's body.

Shin held the seeds tightly as they were the key to his next move. Shin got to his feet wary of the makashibi. Shin quickly spread the seeds on the ground. Shin stayed low to the ground as he made the next set of handseals. He paced his handover a seed as it glow a dim blue glow. It took root and soon a vines slithered from the the ground steadily growing as every second passed.

Description: A blue light envelops a seed and the user forces it to grow at a rapid pace.
Flowers are C rank growth; they grow within seconds and require little chakra in order to grow. Can grow inside the hand, but will die within thirty minutes if not placed into the ground.
Vines are C rank growth; they grow about 10m/second. One seed is capable of growing 100m worth of vines. Must grow inside the ground.

Trees are B rank growth; they grow within minutes, generally within one turn, but is dependant on the size you want the tree to be. Depending on how far you spur the growth process, it can require little chakra (to the growth of a sapling) or a large amount of chakra (growing into a fully-grown adult tree). If you grow it into an adult tree, it can produce fruit, etc., that are common with the type of tree you grow. Must grow inside of the ground.

Not good!

Although happiness over his opponent’s misfortunes should be one emotion surging through Asgard at this very moment, it’d be yet another adrenaline pumped rage that took over completely, forcing onto him another life altering decision instantly. Before he could assimilate the sweet taste of his previous minor victory, Asgard would trust his instincts once more and decide. It was smashing time. Really.

As calculated, the explosion caused his opponent’s body to slide forward over his own traps and hurt him, rendering him very useless and immobile. It’d be during his opponent’s next chosen attack – executed while barely getting up and still dazed, hurt, surrounded and thus trapped by his own Makibishi – that Asgard’s fury would crash onto him completely. Finding himself merely a few feet from his opponents and still retaining some momentum from his previous run, Asgard would flinch and jump up and forward at his opponent’s abilities to slowly alter the earth. No good would come from remaining there.

Instead, while seeds were spread and vegetation grew, Asgard’s powered up strike would spell doom from the sky. During his ascent, a single body flicker [1/3] would alter his approach in a way unreadable by his opponent. Reaperance came soon, just around his upper left area of the head. Leading into the dive with his left shoulder dipped down and his right arm cocked behind him as much as physically possible, the genin would unleash a furious Punch straight from his Will of Kratos repertoire. The anticipated result? A flattened enemy, unable to respond in almost any thinkable way due to being caught up in his previous technique. With the power to break earth coming his way, there’d be nothing he could do.

Was it all over? Maybe...

It would come quick. Before his manipulated genesis could reach its end, a booming force from the sky would squash the young shinobi down, breaking the very essence and foundation of his self. Asgard was relentless in his strike, wasting no time to take advantage of his opponent’s gift. The proverbial near-stop moment occurred as his mighty fist floated over towards the boy’s head, elapsing a few seconds filled with nothing but silence. His breath was robotic, his eyes lasted minutes blinking, and his thoughts were grand ideas only the gods could fathom.

But it would all resume, with haste.

The ground trembled beneath Asgard as he delivered his Punch, forcing the young man’s frame to crumple in place. Momentum was king for this encounter, allowing the medic to flatten his body without much effort. He would finish the strike kneeling down on his right knee, his fist clenched, bloodied, and stuck in the ground. After a yank or two it would emerge, re-birthed into his world as a scarlet pulp of meat and flesh. It would take a minute or two to remove most of the compressed skin on his fist, in which he would examine the remains of his opponent.

There were none left recognizable. Sighing, he would jump up and walk on, no longer wishing to be near the crime scene. He would trot and he congratulate himself – quietly, of course – all while humming some foreign tune only he understood. Another one bites the dust…
