The Docks [Post to Enter Mizu no Kuni]

From the sky seemingly he would drop, landing in a crouch as he observed the area. Surely, it seemed rather odd that the docks were so enforced suddenly, causing the youth to stand slowly, staring towards the coming and going people. He would walk silently through, hands hidden within his sleeves as he headed through the country.

Guardians of the shores, Kirigakure's ANBU were always on look out at the docks. Both for safety of the country and esteemed guests/tourists. How surprising would it be for them when two bodies seemed to float up on the North West side of the country. Quickly the two people on patrol began to signal to everyone else. If this was one of their own ninja or that of an ally they needed to help them. If it was an enemy, they'd dispose of the bodies quickly and send them through the bounty network, after finding out the bodies' secrets of course. With two mighty pair's of arms, two ANBU would grasp for the bodies, clearly being dead weight at this point.

Of particular notice was that they were hand in hand, all the same they'd seperate the two and bring them back to ANBU Temp office. They'd also need to get the Frog and Hunter divisions to verify whom these two were.

Kouketsu was awake, his eyes barely open. He looked on to the people carrying him before passing out once more.

"Ichiro--"

Through the docks he walked, casually and calmly with a large "satchel" in hand. It was a body-bag to be specific, hoisted over his shoulder as if it were dead weight. Inside were the remains of Ichiro, also known as Etsuko Shiro.

To Hi no Kuni he went.

Silently lurking, a black ripped cloak flapped in the wind as the ANBU clad boy swiftly followed in the shadows, the mask of Neko over his face.

Finding his way to the docks, Neoku quickly looked for his boat. Within a few minutes, he found, just where he'd left it. The left over gas was awaiting it use, along with the left over nonperishable food. It would take him a while to arrive at the island housing the village. Hopping on board, he started up the engine and departed for the village. He didn't envy the time it would take, but he knew there had to be something at his first home for him.

The docks would be surpassed by the ANBU garbed figure, the neko mask upon his hair leaving his face visible as he headed towards his beloved.

Neoku arrived at the docks in a wave of water. He was still unconscious until a wave of agony swept over him. His head had hit something hard, jolting him awoke. It was the docks. Quickly, he dragged his sore body atop of it. He was almost as injured as he had been before leaving. He had no time to wait. Quickly, he hoisted his own body up and proceeded back toward the mekei base. He had to speak with the mizukage. He'd been introduced as Tai once, a while ago. But he wante to known for himself. Tai was poor representation.

Quickly barrowing a small motor boat that he'd found with no one in it, Neoku started up the engine. In just a moment, he began his long journey towards the river country. Initially, it took a while to get away from the docks, but soon, it became a dot on the horizon. The skies were still cloudy from the recent storm, but it was dying fast. He'd have a smooth ride there, though the return trip might be different.


After a few hours on his boat, mist had dissapeared from his site. He decided to rest the rest of the way. He'd need his strength when he arrived. He planned to come back to mist with a great gift for the mizukage if not, he might not come back. After a few hours of rest, he was he was near his target.

Nearing the docks his eyes began to move, scanning. There was no one here to see him, at least he would make it that way. He moved into the docks and would unload his vessel with all of his belongings. He would hop on the docks and move swiftly across them. While he did all this he was also making hand signs to enter the country undetected.

He reached the land now and Kirigakure no Jutsu was already in effect. A thick layer of mist cover the land and he would enter the country.

Slowly walking to his boat he began to think. He would check all of his supplies and he got on the boat. He had set all coordinates back to the fire country. He knew all to well where it was located. He hopped on the boat and set himself off into the shallow waters.

Kouketsu's trip was a rather fascinating one. Once he'd woken up from his nap he found himself within the bosom of Mizu no Kuni, much like he thought he'd be. His items were effortlessly gathered and soon he was heading toward the base, casually and in no rush; Hinagiku would be waiting for him.

Kakera's boat ride was long and boring, but he would manage to get through it. He would enter the docks, his head band held in his hand with a scratch through it. He would flick it into the water, no longer needing it. He wondered if Nagato had actually joined Mist. But why would he, he already had Twilight. He would sigh, deciding to find answers himself. He would skate deep into Mizu no Kuni, seeking the village of Kirigakure.

After securing his boat at the docks, Neoku quickly looked around the docks. He'd spotted nothing out of the ordinary. The pale moon light from above cast weird shadows about the land. Quickly moving against these shadows, Neoku went unnoticed through the land of water, quickly mooving back towards the Mekei base. He was tired of travel. Soon, he'd sink back into Tai subconscious mind, though this time by his own choice.

The docks were rather immaculate for a country of such caliber. The boat moved behind him slowly as he exerted enough chakra to travel along the water, small ripples upon its surface occurring as the Chuunin of Suna hopped up and onto the wooden bridge that lead forward and expanded into the distance. Deep blue pools surveyed the landscape, its watery appearance rather menacing at first glance. Yet, he would not allow it to hinder the focal point of his travels. He'd left what was at his home there, so as not to alert the presence of others that he had travelled once more away from his homeland. Additionally, no scratch was marked along his headband. He would save this for future ceremony, providing a sense of ease to Kouketsu should his allegiance have been questionable.

His flesh and blood's sacrifice from previous days were still fresh upon the cerebral, and Atsuhiro was cognizant of the fact that he owed the Creator. Such would further fortify his resolve, his footfall creating a gentle cadence before the sight of sentries caught his ever-calculating occuli. Of course, he had not been granted any type of parchment as a right of passing...at least, none that were upon his very person. With such done, he merely approached slowly and stood a great distance from the personnel.

"...I seek refuge." he muttered.

After about fifteen minutes of walking, Tai body finally began to cool down. Just as he predicted, the cool water by the dock had also lowered the temperature in the surrounding area. His eyes were very relaxed, matching the unsually serene state of mind he was currently in. Each step he took brought him closer to the docks of mizu no kuni. Slowly, he passed around the path in the forest that brought full into his sight. Once there, he could see a small boat moving slowly toward the docks. However, what caught his attention was the figure that was now standing on the peir.


His headband had assured him that the traveler was from suna, but why? The shinobi's ranking was that of a chunnin. There wasn't a single mark on his headband, so was he a diplomat of the great suna? He mind pondered over the possible scenarios in silence until the man uttered a sentence from his lips.


"I seek refuge"

Once again, another person was on the continent of mist, seeking to gain entrance. Was there something going on that he hadn't been informed about? He thought it odd with the number of people appearing in his usually quiet home land. Walking towards the man, Tai said, "Refuge eh? Shinobi of Suna, may I ask your name?" As he asked this, he made sure to keep his distance at about fifteen meters. His voice was solid and carrying a presence, but no true authority. He was afterall, a simple genin. However, he tensed up mentally to prepare himself the ninja's response. In just a moment, he could have himself armed with enough senbon to take down a gorrila, but he was currently unarmed. He didn't want to make the chunnin feel as though he'd come just to fight, but at the same time, he wouldn't tollerate any tricks.

The male's words were imperative, so it seemed.

The young chuunin allowed his occuli to fixate upon the patron as he approached, the distance between them moderate as the initial question that left his lips was answered in a rather passive manner. "You may. I am Atsuhiro, Chuunin of Suna." he returned. The very enunciation of the title boasted that of a great figure, he being the former KazeKage that had established much of the system implemented by the Sand shinobi to this day. The pools of dark blue stayed transfixed upon the new acquaintances features, and he paused momentarily to ensure that he could continue.

"I have travelled from the land of Wind to find my brother. Perhaps you have crossed paths with the young shinobi."

Allowing his gaze to lift toward the heavens, he stated the name of his kin. "Kouketsu."

"Atsuhiro.." Tai said once, the name echoing in his head for a moment. He wasn't too familiar with the name itself, but the very way he said made it seem like some great title. He, who had never stayed very long in suna, knew that his name had carried some kind of great presence, however, he couldn't place his nose on it. His eyes seemed to glaze over for a brief second as if trying to remember, but couldn't. It seemed to be his problem alot. So caught up in his own world that names and such slipped past him.


But he brought himself out of his mind in time to hear what else the chunnin had to say. A brother of his, it appeared, had resided here in mist. He couldn't think of anyone to fit such a desciption, with all that had been happening in mist lately. But his eyes shifted in wonder when Atsuhiro shifted his head towards the sky. The name he uttered was one that had been heard around mist a lot lately.


"Kouketsu?" he muttered in astonishment. Of all the names it be called, this was the most surprising. The Anbu Captain and Uchiha? This meant... another uchiha to to mist, if only for a brief visit. Allowing his eye to relaxe, he said, "I'm sorry, I can not say that I have crossed paths with him directly. However, I have heard of him a few times. I could direct you to him, but I would take some time, with protocol and all. If you wouldn't mind, I'd have to consult my leader first. In the mean time, I could escort you to the capital where you could relaxe and await my return. Is that alright?"


Tai had made sure to enuciate carefully as he spoke so that his words would not jumble into eachother. His manner was very kind and polite. He was sure that after such a long journey, the man known as Atsuhiro would want to reach his destination quiclky, but it could not be so. To bypass protocol would get himself in trouble, let alone possibly endanger the well being of mist. He would not place something that upon his own shoulders.

[Umehara]

Eons passed as the mist shinobi pondered.

Atsuhiro took the time to measure the entity up, the silhouette of unknown ability surveyed and memorized. Every intricate detail from his physical appearance to the distribution of weight along either extremity was calculated and cognizant within his cerebral, dancing along until etched onto the very tablet of his memory. Such was a habit of the Uchiha, his analytical processes taking moments to perceive until it was all recorded. The manner of speech that he received was forced through the stranger's lips, yet the former KazeKage would disperse his need to create an awkward situation from his presence.

"Please. No need to be formal. Talk to me as if I were one of your comrades." he insisted.

The luminous glow from within the patron's iris told stories that yielded Kouketsu's presence, and such would allow Atsuhiro to continue in his inquiry. "Do as you please. Whatever the interval of time, I am more than willing to accomodate your need for proper progression. Though.." he began. A low rumble within his stomach caused him to wince slightly. The journey from the Wind country had left him hungry, the unbearable discomfort sinking in as he laughed lightly.

"Wherever I reside, the food supply better be high." he confessed.

The Uchiha appeared to be compassionate toward social interaction.

...Perhaps the serenity and solace that he found within this very vicinity was not simply a mere illusion as initially noted.

[Runeska]

Nodding his head, Tai said, "Ok Atsu, if I may call you that, just follow me to the capital. There is a ramen shop there. I'm sure they'll be more than happy to have a customer." Turning around, he began to take the path toward the water capital. Before dissapearing down the path, he turned back to Atsuhiro and said, "I would be careful though, I heard there was a bit of a commotion a short while ago." With that, he disappeared down the path, taking a moderate pace so that the chunnin wouldn't get lost.
