Young Cross had been wandering through these new vast grassy lands. His eyes were wide taking note to the amazing view that seemed to have come along with it. As he wandered out from the woodlands that covered the large hills almost mountains, he made his way up large grass covered hills, the view was breath taking. As he stoop atop one of the large grassy hills, he looked out into the beautiful valley of grass, taking note to a few dirt paths over on another hill. That would only mean that civilization was too far from where he was residing at.

As the young boy stood atop the grand hill, his white hair would blow around at the winds command, the red beaded braid would flow a little less than the others. His soft green eyes stared out as he was found speechless by his surroundings. His jacket was fully zipped up, when he found it a bit warm, so he would unzip it half way, letting it hang down over his left shoulder. He wished to see more of this land but he needed to take a break, so he would just stand there, in aw.

Ayame Hanakora brushed a strand of green hair from her eyes and sighed. Long days had been spent harvesting herbs and wearing her to the brink of exhaustion. Her work was never done however, her family had sent her into the hills of the country to search for some herb or another that would 'revolutionize herbaslism as she knew it.' Though she would never admit it Ayame knew the herb would be inane, her studies had shown that it's uses were minimal except for smoothing the skin.

Unfazed she would wander through the hills, her eyes trained on the ground and she seatched for the distinct blue flowers. A sigh escaped her lips as she continued to search, taking little notice of anything else.

As Cross stood there atop the hill, staring out blankly, his mind sitting in the darkness. He once again would find himself bored with his surroundings, when suddenly his pale green eyes locked onto movement. Cross didn't react at all to it at first, he would take note of what he saw, and look into detail, then he would decide upon his actions. As he stared, he saw it was a female, young but older than he, she was interesting, the green hair is what he mainly took not to, Cross had never seen such an interesting style. He decided, whether it not be in his best interests to approach her he would.

Cross began to slowly walk down the hill, he would say a thing, the young boy would simply get closer and take down more notes, he needed to figure out where he was, and who this girl was. He needed to determine the threat rate that could follow but first off, he wanted to know more about her. His eyes noticed her features, she was rather attractive, yet Cross wasn't interested in that. He was once again caught by a distinct look. Her purple eyes, first interesting hair and now eyes as well. Cross needed to know more, he wanted to as well. But he wouldn't start the conversation, it wasn't his style.

So he continued to walk towards her, his wooden sandals pushing the grass down where he stepped, the small pale and fragile young boy was now within five meters of the girl, she would surely notice him. If not they would most likely end up bumping into one another due to the path Cross took.

A whisper in the grass reached her ears. She looked up slowly, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear as she moved. Her amethyst eyes locked on the strange male not five meters from her. Her first look over revealed no head band, but it could always be hidden. Her muscles stiffened as she evened out her body wait, better to be cautious after all. "Hello..." She said slowly as she crossed her arms across her stomach. If all else failed she could simply pull the string on her senbon launcher if he attacked.

Despite her cautiousness his white hair was a point of interest to the girl. She was vaguely amused to see he was nearly a foot shorter than her, he had to be young she decided. Two red dots were marked upon his face. The mark was familiar but she could not place it. "May I help you?" She added slowly.

As the girl stopped Cross would do the same, for he had got the girl to make the first move, allowing him to analyze her further. Upon inspection he noticed something that looked like a headband on her right arm. He couldn't see it well, but the symbol he saw part of... it was once again different from all the others that he had seen. He had found a new shinobi of a new nation. Cross sighed at that note, he wished he hadn't yet at the same time he was grateful. Closing his green eyes for a moment, she began to speak. Polite yet cautious, Cross could tell, he had seen the same in Karii at first. The image of Karii returned to him, he regretted it as well. He missed her, but now he had someone new to inspect.

Cross opened his eyes, placing a smile on his face, just as he was taught to. "Help me?" he stated, pointing at himself, he knew the girl was talking to him, but it was a new test of his. "Well, I suppose," he said quietly, looking away from her, he stared off to the distance. "Where am I?" he asked as he turned back to look at her, his eyes would get caught by her pure purple eyes. They were so mesmerizing to the young boy. Suddenly the thoughts off Karii were gone, were these eyes that interesting to Cross that he would forget for now about the only person to care for him?

Ayame weighed her response slowly, she would not straight out tell him he was near a hidden villlage. "Why, you're just outside the Fire Country," she said finally with a small look of surprise crossing her face. She told herself that her words were not a lie, something she disapproved of unless nessecary to protect those one cares for.

Her violet eyes locked with his jade ones. His eyes were a pure shade of green that could rival any plants. His appearance was an unusal clash of red, white and green, unusal but not bad. Then again she knew she had no right to mark anyone as appearing strange, not with her green hair. She shifted uncomfortably and looked away from his gaze. She felt as if she was being inspected and it made her nervous. "Are you lost sir?" She asked kindly, still carefully not to let her guard down.

She wouldn't name the country he was within. He knew he had left Hi no Kuni but he had no idea of what country he had found himself with. That annoyed him but her choice of mind games was far different that his. She was protecting something, while he was seeking something. The two playing tricks, testing for different things, Cross felt that he would need the factor of his age to play in more. So he would look back out to the grasslands. Something he'd never really encountered before.

He chuckled or more so giggled a little bit at her follow up question. Of course he was lost, was it not obvious to her, he had no idea where he had wound up in. "Hm, you could say that," he said with the smile still planted on his face. He couldn't help but wonder if this wasn't the best person to approach. "I'm from the land of waves, that's far from where I'm at now isn't it?" he asked, Cross had no real baring to the amount of distance he had traveled, he just knew he wasn't at home, for he had no home. No where he could just go to when he needed a time to relax, he had one and lost it. So he found a new one, and lost that one as well, the poor boy was being kicked around like some weak animal.

"Wave Country?" Ayame asked, genuinley curious as she attempted to remember her geography. Wave country, she remembered, was on the other side of Hi no Kuni. "You're on the wrong side of Fire County I'm afraid," she told him. Though the explanation was solid it would give him little information to his bearings since he could easily be in Ame or Oto instead of Kusa and still be on the wrong side of Hi no kuni.

"You've come very far to have wandered away from home," Ayame said softly as she brushed a hand through her emerald hair. Part of the mechanism on her senbon launcher caught in her hair. She worked quickly to untangle it, knowing that if he chose to attack her now she would be at a disadvantage.

His eyes would catch on the weapon, just as it caught in her hair. He hadn't even noticed it before now, how foolish of him, he could have easily wound up dead with such a lack of response. He was unsure to what it was on her arm, but it was clearly a device meant to implicate harm to others. Cross was sure of it now, he had wound up in the wrong place. He would sigh, eliminating his smile, he was getting annoyed at her very own set of mind games. She was protecting something, and he could only respect that. He looked away, not caring if she struck him or not.

"There's no home in Waves, not for a long time," he said, taking a step away from her. He lowered his head, he was failing in his search, and contemplated scrapping this attempt in general, but first one last try. "You're vague, why?" he asked her. Her response would be the key to what she was really doing, and possibly what she was trying to hide. "What is it that you don't want me to know?" he asked her as he turned around to face her, his white hair loosely swaying around, before falling back in place. His green eyes would stare at her, they were soft yet cold. He wasn't hiding anything at this point. A risk he would have to take.

She worked on untangling her hair from her weapon as he spoke. She finally managled to dislodge the item and sighed as he spoke. She could tell his words were carefully chosen and it made her feel like she was back in the Academy being tested. "Because I do not know you. Because I work hard to defend the only place I have ever known as home. And because my loyalties lie with my country alone, not whoever may be running it." She frowned at her mention of the recent... upstart, in the leadship in Kusa which had ended in her own cousin being ejected from her seat of power.

Her own rudeness surprised her. "I-I'm sorry... I don't know what came over me," she said weakly. Though this boy was younger than her she did not feel she had the right to treat him rudely, if anything he deserved her kindness more than her elders.

He was right, she was hiding something, but out of pure intentions, he couldn't help but smile to that. He was proud at the honorable way she had chose to live her life. He would turn to face her, then she began to apologize, it wasn't her fault, she was only be honest and true. "You have nothing to apologize for," he said softly. "You're only humans, and we fear that which we do not know," he said, as he spoke he stared over her, or more so through her. "I am that unknown," he added quietly. He lowered his head, he had been out of line for so long. She was attempting to be kind to him, and he was showing distaste for it. Now he would change his approach.

He raised his right hand up as a sign of a new beginning. "I'm the one who should say I'm sorry. My name is Cross," he stated, his hand would be a sign of new beginning and hopefully she would accept it. But that was only for her to decide, he had no say to it. He knew a smile would be appropriate for the situation, but he only wore one when he was playing games... and so it didn't feel right to him.

Ayame bowed her head as he spoke. "My name is Ayame," she stepped forwards and extended her hand. Ayame considered herself a good judge of character and she saw nothing but truth in the boy's eyes. "You have nothing to apologize for either though." She told him kindly as she looked down at him, it was strange to be taller than him, it made her think of her younger cousins at home.

"I am sorry though, I'm never that rude, I feel bad. Can you forgive me?" And she spoke the truth, rude was not in her vocabulary, in fact she was usually so polite that it irked people. Now that she was closer she was able to look him over better, she saw that he indeed had no head band. "You're not a ninja?" She asked curiously.

Cross would listen to her words as she spoke, she seemed kind enough, hoping for his forgiveness when she had done nothing wrong. "Sure, I'll forgive you," he said, but then she continued to question him. Now that they were closer she had taken more note of him, he chose not to do the same, he would show her his trust at this point in time. Her new question came as a surprise to him, no-one ever once took him as a shinobi. He was surprised yet not at the same time. The young boy did know that he was strong and could hold his own against a shinobi, he just had no where to call his home.

"I'm not a shinobi, just a kid," he would say as he looked her, from before he took her as attractive and once more he would have to agree, but he was far to young to really know or do anything. A friend is all he searched for now. So as he looked at her he would focus on her face. "Ayame, can I ask you again where I am? This place is strange compared to the Land of Waves, Fire, and even Thunder... I've never seen something quite like it before," he asked and then explained to where he's been in comparison.

"You're on the border of Hi no Kuni and Kusa no Kuni," Ayame explained carefully. "I take you've never been this far East?" Ayame asked curiously. "I've never been out of Kusa no Kuni myself," she admitted with a small smile. She looked around the area and spotted something blue in the distance, the herb she was looking for no doubt. She ignored it though, it was useless anyways.

Shin had been jumping through the trees on his daily run. Only about halfway between home and his training spot he noticed a female grass ninja like himself and child. Maybe lost? Shin wanted to help. Shin abruptly changed direction and landed on the grass making his way to the grass ninja and the child.

Shin walked up to the two his bang blowing almost revealing his left eye in the light wind. "Yo..." he would say looking at the female Grass Ninja. "Anything wrong here...?" He would ask her.

Alas an answer arrived that he had been searching for, Kusa, he was near the Grass Village no doubt. Cross would now take not to her headband symbol more clearly, taking in the lines making the shapes. Cross now had ambition back in his goals, this young girl was a Kusa Shinobi, something that could be of some real use. He looked away for a moment, almost turning his back on her. "Kusa no Kuni," he said quietly. Cross held his right hand up near his chest, out of sight from Ayame, he needed to test something even if it might lead to his death.

Bones began to push out of his knuckles, almost silently, he would hide this for now from her. "So you're a Shinobi from Kusa? And if you're a shinobi you can fight right?" he asked, the two questions hoping to buy a little bit of time until his hand was ready. Finally the bones had reached out to the lengths he wished for. His bloodline would now be put to a test against a Grass Shinobi. The bones reaching almost two feet in length were as sharp as claws. He would quickly turn leaving his right arm hanging back, his green eyes stared at her standing there.

"Don't hold it against me!" he shouted as he would lash forward with his right arm, bring the bone claws forward, in hopes of either landing a blow or leaving himself open. Either way the test would have begun, hopefully she wasn't too angry by this whole event.

Effect: The user pushes the knuckles of their fingers a little outwards and quickly exerts out three claws from the indents of the knuckles into three like claws.
Special: ---
Drawback: "D" As long as the claws are out the user will undergo the disease capability because of the bones being within the inner body as well as the natural healing capability found within the Bones of the user.
Description: The user exerts outwards three claws from their inner part of their skin that is located near their knuckles. The bones along their fingers and the muscles along their fingers pushes out the bones in a hardened shape form. The bone solidifies making it seem like three large like claws as the claws are pushed out in a distance of approximately eighteen inches in length.

Bones... Ayame reacted quickly and slammed her hands together into the Nara hand seals and her shadow stretched the short distance to reach him. With Cross's mind set on the swing and aiming for it would be almost impossible for him to avoid this attack. The bone claws would still rake her shoulder however, if she managed to catch him, which she was sure she would, she would take a hit across her left shoulder.

Kagemane no Jutsu, ‰e^Ž—‚̏p (Shadow Imitation Technique)

Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: The signature move of the Nara family, this jutsu allows the user to control their own shadow and merge it with their opponent's shadow, combining them. This links the movements of the user with the target; the target is subsequently forced to make any movement the user makes. It is an extremely versatile technique, as the user can contract and change the shape of their shadow, potentially grabbing multiple targets at once. The degree to which the user's shadow can be stretched is limited by its total surface area.
Special: "Hanseals"
Drawback: Must Be Learned Multiple times in order to truly achieve something grand. Must hold Rat hand seal until the technique connects with the targets shadow.
Description: Using the shadows of other objects, the user can extend their shadow beyond its normal range. The amount of time for which an opponent can be held is limited by the user's chakra, since the user must constantly maintain the jutsu. The jutsu is also more difficult to maintain at greater ranges or for multiple opponents, since the user's shadow must be stretched constantly. At closer ranges, it requires considerably less effort on the user's part. Additionally, the target can force their way free with enough effort, though the amount of effort required to do so is considerable. There are two tables or understandings for this technique that consists of the Difficulty class of the User as well as the Opponent, and as to how far the user is capable of using this technique. When first learned the user is only capable of using this technique at a distance of Ten meters. Each higher Rank archived, the user is capable of extending the shadow another five meters. The user must first however, learn each rank a certain amount of times before then next rank is obtainable. The C rank version must be learned five times total. At which point the ditance is upgraded to "B" Rank training and now extends ten meters each time trained. This version must be learned 3 times total. The "A" Rank version, extends the range to Seventy meters, and every additional "A" Rank training extends it another ten meters. This technique caps out at 100 meters. The user is capable of making their shadow split and by doing so takes up the distance of the total form of the original technique. This means that if a user has this technique to where they can use thirty meters and wishes to make this technique split to three shadows the maximum distance is ten meters per shadow.

Difficulty on Escaping: Escaping the Kagemane is a tricky art for some, easier for others. Depending on your Stamina and Difficulty class depends on how well the opponent can escape the Kagemane. The Kagemane is held for a Certain time frame depending on Rank of the technique learned. "C" Rank can be held for 18 seconds before it breaks no matter what. "B" Rank 36 seconds, "A" Rank 54 Seconds. For every difficulty class the user is above the opponent, add another five seconds. If the opponent for every difficulty class above th user, subtract five seconds. If the Opponent captured is a Taimaster, subtract 15 seconds additionally. If the opponent is a Tai specialist, subtract 5 additional seconds. If the opponent is a Taijutsu No specialist, leave it as is. After doing the math, the amount of turns held will be apparent.

Before he could say a word the female grass nin and child clashed... Shin wondered what was going on but moved away from the action just in case. He would body flicker(1/3) a full 10 meters away keeping his eye on the action.

Going to connect with Ayame, his eyes noticed the hand seals being formed, Cross wouldn't give up on his strike, and more of his momentum at this point would carry him swing through. The shadow stretched out and locked Cross in place, but no doubt his bone claws and connected into the outer part of Ayame's shoulder. He couldn't move though and was angered and confused.

"What the hell is this," he stated, clearly unaware of the Nara technique placed upon him. But during this all Cross had spotted movement in the corner of his eyes. Another ninja, damn the place was getting crowded for Cross, who was now stuck. "Who the hell are you!" he shouted at the male who had approached them.

Ayame took two steps backwards, lengthening her distance and removing his bone claws from her shoulder. The cut was pinful but not enough to obscure her from using further techniques. "Do you stop willingly or do I have to hurt you?" The kunoichi demanded as she began forming another set of hand seals, gritting her teeth through the pain. Branches would launch from the ground to secure around his legs, to keep him in place because she knew her shadow bind would not last for too much longer.

Mokuton Soutei Hashira (Wood Release - Binding Pillars)

Effect: A technique where branches is pushed from the ground and wraps around an opponent.
Special: "Boar, Dragon, Ram, Boar"
Drawback: This technique is the basics of other techniques. The user must learn this technique multiple times in order for the distance of branches can increases.
Description: After using the seals the user uses the water and earth release in which branches crushes out of the ground to wrap around the user. When the user first learns this technique the user is capable of creating approximatly Six Different branches with a width of six inches, with the distance of Ten Meters From the user. Every time learned the distance may increase by an additional ten Meters. When the distance reaches up to a Hundred Meters the type of training becomes B-Rank Training. When the distance reaches Two Hundred Meters the Training becomes A-Rank. When the user reaches to B-Rank Training the width of branches is Twelve Inches if the user desires. When the Training Reaches A-Rank the width of the branches is Twenty Four Inches if the user desires. Each time learned the user is capable of creating another branch.
